1Thess.5:9 For God didn't appoint us to wrath, but to the obtaining of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 5:10 who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. 5:11 Therefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as you also do.
What are we to say? If the Lord is for us whom can stand against us? Paul does what so many Christian's can't seem to do today, without causing a panic in their flesh and in others, and what is that? He tells the truth! Are God's children appointed for wrath? Many teach God's children are just hanging by a thread, waiting to be cut off by YHWH; for he is a wrathful God. Yes, God is waiting for the right moment if we aren't constantly looking for the end of the world; if we aren't digging through every bit of information from the internet or wherever the Lord's day will over take us in God's wrath. Those teaching such falsehoods hate to admit it, they are self-survivalist living in fear, and teaching out of fear that God has a great lack of love for his children.
1 John 4:20 If a man says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn't love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.
But the apostle Paul ask us a question, not if it was true or not? But if we believe in God's love, our we appointed to wrath yes, or no? So who are under God's wrath when God sent his Son to remove our wrath? Does the day of the Lord over take his own body members as though there is a separate salvation for them than Christ, one they must earned through some sort of prophesy, living in fear that God would trick them, and Christ being their head, would destroy his own body, or instead are they in a religion, trained by a religion that does just that to spiritual lives?
Eph.5:24 But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; 5:26 that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, 5:27 that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 5:28 Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. 5:29 For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly.
Faith takes the power away from our flesh, it deflates it, and puts its fears to death. Faith does not promote fear, and distrust now does it? Faith is not a wicked thing, it not a trickster, so why all the fuse over prophesy? It is a lack of faith making the person wicked. but not those that trust in the Lord that he will keep his promises, and hand us a serpent instead of a fish. What if a body member sleeps, will that body member be destroyed by Christ? Not according to the apostle Paul words here, why? Because we are appointed not by our flesh to wrath, or our good works, or our prophesy, we are appointed to live in Christ, and with Christ, by God's choosing us before we had done anything good or bad! Does God now make mistakes in his choosing?
2 Corinthians 1:17 When I therefore was thus determined, did I show fickleness? Or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be the "Yes, yes" and the "No, no?"
Matt.7:8 For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened. 7:9 Or who is there among you, who, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? 7:10 Or if he asks for a fish, who will give him a serpent? 7:11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!
So instead of promoting fear, which is always the outcome of fleshly prophecy, if a person does not believe the latest one, instead let us build each other up in faith in God's love, why don't we do as told, as a faithful servant of God? Let us promote faith and truth in Christ; taking Christ statements as truth that if we believe in him we have eternal life. Why promote something of the flesh, which does all in its power, in every way, to kill the spirit of Christ in us by fleshly reasoning found in fear of death. Why don't we learn to walk on water not doubting at all God is good, and Christ has saved us, not some prophesy of the end days. If we live in the world and love the things of this world than prophesy is our ticket to make changes fast at the last minute so we can get into the door, but if we are in faith we are always in the door just as Christ has promised and cannot lie, who do you chose to believe?
John 10:9 I am the door. If anyone enters in by me, he will be saved, and will go in and go out, and will find pasture. Luke 21:18 And not a hair of your head will perish.
John 3:15 that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
John 10:28 I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.
