John.14:1 "Don't let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me.

We human are weak in trusting, we are weaker in trusting an unseen person called God. Its hard to imagine that people truly love us, let alone a God that we can't see or hear only from what we read. This is why association with a group become more important than what God actually teaches from the bible.

John 5:44 How can you believe, who receive glory from one another, and you don't seek the glory that comes from the only God?

John 7:18 He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory, but he who seeks the glory of him who sent him is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

However, here in the book of John something outstanding was happening Christ came into the world, and the world at his time he speaks of is the Jewish faith learned by holy writings and oral teachings, they knew God by written word or verbal communication this meant it was easy for their religion to be polluted by mens interpretations, men seeking power, or control to maintain a position over others, and just as already mentioned to know God one must learn it through some other human.

John 14:26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.

Often the nation wandered into the same bad habits, but God changed all that he sent his son into the world with a new and better way. Soon as God had promised his children would be taught by Spirit and truth, no longer would each one need to teach the other, they would all be taught by God, from the least to the greatest of them. This is the point of Christ words above: “Don't let your hearts be trouble believe in me, and the Father we will comfort you and teach you we will become real to you by Spirit.”

1 John 4:6 We are of God. He who knows God listens to us. He who is not of God doesn't listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

1 John 5:6 This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.

In other words, they would know God loves them because of communing with him through the son of God by Holy Spirit. In past times God would uses certain men working with them like the prophets so the people could know God and keep on track. But now God's people were to have a prophet greater than all the rest, a prophet that would keep them on track always and personally, Christ Jesus as their headship! What has changed? Simply put, the outpouring of Holy Spirit the anointing of each child of God, but how can there be so many religion today, if that is true and so much confusion?

Matthew 13:36 Then Jesus sent the multitudes away, and went into the house. His disciples came to him, saying, "Explain to us the parable of the darnel weeds of the field."

Matthew 13:38 the field is the world; and the good seed, these are the children of the Kingdom; and the darnel weeds are the children of the evil one.

Matthew 13:40 As therefore the darnel weeds are gathered up and burned with fire; so will it be at the end of this age.

The Jews wander when they worshiped God by men, by sight, and not by faith in the unseen as previously mention. However, with outpouring of Holy Spirit after Christ death truth was establishes everlastingly in the Spirit directed congregation of God they were taught by Holy Spirit removing doubt and errors. But what has happen since, two thousand years later? “Religion”! Religion in that each person once again like the Jews are learning only from the written words coming from an institution of religion without the Spirit teaching, but why? They imagine by intellectual enlightenment it is the Spirit, sadly, most are enlighten by the spirit of own flesh found in confusion and error not knowing how to test the Spirit?

James 4:5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who lives in us yearns jealously"?

James 3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom.
3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth.

Christ told us why this would happen? An enemy would oversow the field of God's planting at his time of planting wheat Christian's, that is, having the Spirit producing the fruit of Holy Spirit, and that condition of corruption would last until he returned at the end of our world to take out his wheat class from the field of weed by God's holy angels.

2Tim.3:1 But know this, that in the last days, grievous times will come. 3:2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3:3 without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good,
3:4 traitors, headstrong, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; 3:5 holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power thereof. Turn away from these, also. 3:6 For of these are those who creep into houses, and take captive gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 3:7 always learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

This truth was repeated by apostle Paul that the restraint would be taken away, the Holy Spirit preventing falsehood to enter into God's congregation polluting it with thousands of teaching not of Christ. Today we see that field in full growth almost ready for the great harvest. In other words, the more a person would try to remove falsehoods, ten more would pop-up like weeds.

2 Peter 2:18 For, uttering great swelling words of emptiness, they entice in the lusts of the flesh, by licentiousness, those who are indeed escaping from those who live in error;

2 Peter 3:17 You therefore, beloved, knowing these things beforehand, beware, lest being carried away with the error of the wicked, you fall from your own steadfastness.

2 Thessalonians 2:11 Because of this, God sends them a working of error, that they should believe a lie;

Most Christian's have an intellectual relationship with God and Christ on paper, not in association with Holy Spirit indwelling them. Some of God's anointed do, but struggle mightily with corruption of two thousands years of fleshly teaching. God's time has not yet come to collect his chosen from among the weeds giving complete restoration of Holy Spirit to the congregation of God.

Matthew 24:31 He will send out his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together his chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

Matthew 24:13 But he who endures to the end, the same will be saved.

Such a time will come, and those alive of God's children will be quicken by Holy Spirit as if snatch from the fires of the flesh, like and eyeball brought back into focus quickly in a twinkling of eye. But until than we get a little help, and often stumble to whiten other brothers in Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed.

For present we have a taste, we have moments of help, and there are times when we know we have a home waiting us like Christ stated above, but than we will know fully. Let us struggle in these times of tribulation in our flesh upon earth, waiting; for these are critical times, and will not end as it did not for all those since Christ found in a field of weeds for two thousand years.

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, "Things which an eye didn't see, and an ear didn't hear, which didn't enter into the heart of man, these God has prepared for those who love him."{Isaiah 64:4}
