MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > Eph.1:1,2. - Grace to You and Peace From God

Eph.1:1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, to the saints who are at Ephesus, and the faithful in Christ Jesus:
1:2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

This world certainly lacks in kindness and in grace (unmerited kindness, and/or undeserved kindness.) For the flesh, that is, those bold and powerful in their flesh whom uses the weaknesses of the fallen flesh to judge others they reject grace!

Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.

James 3:8 But nobody can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. 3:9 With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who are made in the image of God.
3:10 Out of the same mouth comes forth blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.
3:11 Does a spring send out from the same opening fresh and bitter water? 3:12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water.
3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom.
3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth. 3:15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.

It simply makes no sense to a fleshly mind; the power, the existence of the flesh is it ability to judge other human weakness for protection and elevation for ones merit in its own eyes and in the eyes of others. Paul was hated by many because he placed all power in the Holy Spirit gotten by one thing, and whats that? The humility of God's own undeserved kindness towards sinners. Not man's humility, but God's.

James 4:1 Where do wars and fightings among you come from? Don't they come from your pleasures that war in your members?
4:2 You lust, and don't have. You kill, covet, and can't obtain. You fight and make war. You don't have, because you don't ask.
4:3 You ask, and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures.
4:4 You adulterers and adulteresses, don't you know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
4:5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who lives in us yearns jealously"?
4:6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."{Proverbs 3:34}
4:7 Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

God does not want mankind merit, do you know why? Mankind's merit is based upon judgment of the fallen flesh. Yes, that's how false religion takes hold, gaining control over the lives of sinners, by doling out acceptance through meeting rules of their religion and convincing its members those requirements are a must to be saved.

John 3:17 For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.

John 5:34 But the testimony which I receive is not from man. However, I say these things that you may be saved.

Romans 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

Romans 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

But that merit is valueless it has never redeemed anyone, it has no power over death, it has no power over the spirit when its leaves the body at death, a sinner cannot redeem themselves by self-merit. That is why its impossible for a fleshly minded person to accept grace, that is, God's undeserved kindness, they can't because they can't understand Spirit by judgment of the fleshly mind.

Titus.3:1 Remind them to be in subjection to rulers and to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work,
3:2 to speak evil of no one, not to be contentious, to be gentle, showing all humility toward all men. 3:3 For we were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
3:4 But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love toward mankind appeared, 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,
3:6 whom he poured out on us richly, through Jesus Christ our Savior; 3:7 that, being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

God's Spirit does no exist in the proud hearted haughty person it can't and won't. Unmerited kindness comes to the humble in acceptance nothing good dwells in their flesh, proclaiming they have no merit to stand before God. The unrighteous and arrogant they wrangle over words in the bible thinking that has merit, it is speaking truth, truth of what? That all flesh is dead in Christ, it has no power in Christ, and God is not reforming the old man proud and arrogant lust of pried.

Colossians 2:12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.

Romans 8:10 If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness.

Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

Those in Christ have not their own life indwelling them, but a new righteous life, Christ. The old man is found in false religion building merit by works of his/her flesh based upon judging others weakness in their dead flesh. Yes! There no lie in your bibles, there is lies in the flesh, whom steals God's words digesting it into a rule book so they can weakly empower themselves in their flesh appearing wise to the unlearned and unsteady.

Colossians 2:23 Which things indeed appear like wisdom in self-imposed worship, and humility, and severity to the body; but aren't of any value against the indulgence of the flesh.

Ephesians 2:3 among whom we also all once lived in the lust of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.
Galatians 5:24 Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.

God has not given his people a old heavens and old earth so they can reform it into a better fleshly world, no! God has given the humble at heart a new heavens and earth with Christ righteousness, and not their own merit where self-righteousness dwells. Those looking up do not compare their dead flesh towards other dead flesh, they look to Christ and compare their conduct against Spirit and truth, knowing that the flesh is judged unworthy of merit before God. They accept God's undeserved kindness in the merit of Christ life in humility knowing they are unworthy. How wonderful when brothers and sisters in Christ live in grace having the Spirit of peace indwelling them in true righteousness.

Luke 18:10 "Two men went up into the temple to pray; one was a Pharisee, and the other was a tax collector. 18:11 The Pharisee stood and prayed to himself like this: 'God, I thank you, that I am not like the rest of men, extortioners, unrighteous, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. 18:12 I fast twice a week. I give tithes of all that I get.' 18:13 But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn't even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me, a sinner!' 18:14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted."

Luke 18:17 Most certainly, I tell you, whoever doesn't receive the Kingdom of God like a little child, he will in no way enter into it."
