MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > Matt..15:12-14. Leave Them Alone!

Matt.15:12 Then the disciples came, and said to him, "Do you know that the Pharisees were offended, when they heard this saying?" 15:13 But he answered, "Every plant which my heavenly Father didn't plant will be uprooted. 15:14 Leave them alone. They are blind guides of the blind. If the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit."

The stupid person is easily offended (flesh), what God plants will grow having certain success! The wicked think everything in God's word the bible depends upon them, and their wrangling with others about their teachings. However, the truth is nothing in God's word the bible depends upon them, nor can they change one thing in another human if God has not planted it for himself!

1Cor.3:1 Brothers, I couldn't speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly, as to babies in Christ. 3:2 I fed you with milk, not with meat; for you weren't yet ready. Indeed, not even now are you ready, 3:3 for you are still fleshly. For insofar as there is jealousy, strife, and factions among you, aren't you fleshly, and don't you walk in the ways of men? 3:4 For when one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," aren't you fleshly? 3:5 Who then is Apollos, and who is Paul, but servants through whom you believed; and each as the Lord gave to him? 3:6 I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase. 3:7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.

Having a fleshly mind approach to God's word is like the world where a person gets it done from their own will and power, letting nothing rest until they succeed in conquering their enemies. How does one conquer the flesh for God when God is not dealing with it, but instead killing it for us because we cannot make it subject to his righteous law? Furthermore, we can not put away the filth of our own flesh?

Rom.8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace; 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be. 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Christ was not fighting with flesh and blood in speaking while the Pharisees were listening, Christ knew what many fleshly mind Christian's don't that you can't make a weed into a wheat for God by arguments over scriptures. Yes, the Pharisees were offended, flesh is always offended over Spirit, it is the age old war starting in the Garden of Eden, no surprise! The flesh lust against the Spirit, and its works, its very nature is jealousy and hate. It attacks anything that does agree with its superior point of view, couple that with God's righteous word and you have a volatile cocktail!

Galatians 6:8 For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.

Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.

Blindness is the flesh to the Spirit, the flesh judges evil motives to the Spirit of God, it must, and than it attacks out of fear. Fear is the lot of the flesh, because it has a mind of judgment, and to releave itself from fear of judgment, it seek wrong in others to redeem its own sinful action giving itself a reward of merit (redemtion). Flesh must compare itself against flesh to gain merit, so it may boast in its action as better than its enemy. Whole empires of false religion have been built upon these fleshly wars having nothing to do with Christ, they are blind guides to the Spirit, but masters at judging human weakness in the flesh for guilt and control of others lives.

Galatians 2:16 yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.

Ephesians 6:12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Jesus was the truth, and lead by Spirit he knew that nothing his Father had planted would be uprooted by flesh, flesh is green grass that withers quickly under the power eternal word of God. Jesus knew the weeds would grow with the field of wheat, he would not live in fear one of his sheep would be lost, for they had been planted by God's hands, and his Father is the God of the living, why wast time using up precious pearls trying to save what God had not planted?

Matt.7:6 "Don't give that which is holy to the dogs, neither throw your pearls before the pigs, lest perhaps they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces. 7:7 "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. 7:8 For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.

1 Peter 1:5 who by the power of God are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves.
