Why did the writer of Hebrews, most believe to be Paul, give such a glorious picture of Christ exulted position in heaven? Simply put, he was making defense for those who were still giving glory to man and his works upon earth. Yes, the Jews giving glory to the power of the earthly temple of God where the Jews worshiped for thousand's of years. Giving glory to Moses being given the law, and the power of the prophets the nation had witness, and recorded in their history of God's might works.

2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

The Jews walked by sight, not by Spirit in faith, such sight worship was the fiber of their very being making Christ seemed mundane, weak, and foolish to the wisdom of their rich heritage. Christ, stripped the power of those Jews heavens and earth, what power? The power God set up through the law. Their very life was controlled by, and their nation by the law, their heavens, and their earth, were rolled up, like a scroll, set aside by God, replaced by the power of Christ working in each Christian's individually.

Colossians 2:15 having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

The old wine was good, but the new so much better, superior the very image of God could now fill a person with the life of Christ, how glorious is the Spirit working in the temple of God?

So glorious that the nation was not allowed into the holy of hollies to see the glory of God, but with unveil faces were God's anointed administering the Spirit publicly to all that would listen to the glorious Good News. No! There was no comparison for those having faith being filled with Holy Spirit they were not wondering if an earthly organization might have God's truth? Absolutely not! They were filled with truth, love, and light, through the power of Christ life indwelling them. He had been exulted into the very imagine of God, and they were delivered by his power!

Christ was not polluting himself with flesh again! He was not giving glory to flesh, as though it was greater than the Spirit, better than the position of authority given him for the glory of God. None have come up, to the mountain of Jehovah, where the glorified Christ is worshiped by angels letting Christ put to death the flesh and perfect the spirit in love, beating their war minds into the love of Christ.
