MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > John.5:21-23. - The Son Gives Life to Whom he Desires

John.5:21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom he desires. 5:22 For the Father judges no one, but he has given all judgment to the Son, 5:23 that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He who doesn't honor the Son doesn't honor the Father who sent him.

Who has been given the power of life? Now really think about that question? The power of giving life has been given Christ by his Father YHWH! Christ is able to give life to whom he desires? We are not talking about a group of religious people stating if you don't obey them a person will loses their eternal life, what presumptuousness! Unwittingly, or wittingly they are teaching on earth they have been approved by God, and God is honoring them to take and give life as they desire?

1Cor.4:1 So let a man think of us as Christ's servants, and stewards of God's mysteries. 4:2 Here, moreover, it is required of stewards, that they be found faithful. 4:3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by man's judgment. Yes, I don't judge my own self. 4:4 For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord. 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.

God is not honoring a Christian's group, he is however, honoring his son Christ Jesus the one proven faithful slave. First, let it be clear, the honor goes to the head, as the person possession, a person claiming or a group claiming to be a Christian's does not mean they are of the body of Christ. Nor does the power exist in any body member to judge life, isn't that the job of the head? Moreover, its not even within the jurisdiction of Christian's to give themselves approval because they thinking they are better, more righteous, cleaner than other religious people.

James 4:11 Don't speak against one another, brothers. He who speaks against a brother and judges his brother, speaks against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge. 4:12 Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another?

Personal approval only proves a person is not a faithful slave, yes! Faithful to what? Slave, or an more politically correct tone servant. Both words means being approved by a master and not self! Jehovah God honors his son upon earth, then he glorified his son in heaven the question is how are we doing the same? If life is dependent upon Christ, that is, God so trust the son he creates him in his own image, with the power of eternal, God does not double check each decision Christ makes, but gives him all power, and authority, and waits upon Christ to finish his works, and by the way, God does not make mistake distrusting and imputing evil into Christ whom now has incorruptible life, but rather puts complete trust in him.

John 8:54 Jesus answered, "If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say that he is our God.

Philippians 2:7 but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men.

Galatians 1:10 For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn't be a servant of Christ.

The problem with those Christ was speaking with they looked at flesh and not the works of God coming through Christ. Sadly, most Christian's today look at flesh being constantly disappointed in their works, hence, imputing the same into God as though he too is fickle like an ever changing light of men on earth.

James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God," for God can't be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one. 1:14 But each one is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed. 1:15 Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death.
1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers. 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

But instead if we do not honor his son Christ Jesus with complete faith we will not have eternal life. If we can't get past flesh claiming they teach for Christ and set our eyes on truth by faith in Christ we will be like a wave of sea, double minded, driven about in part by flesh approval found in disappointment, and part spirit which is light that does not change receiving nothing!

James 3:12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water.
3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom.
3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth.
3:15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.
