MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > John.5:24. - Has Eternal Life?

John.5:24 "Most certainly I tell you, he who hears my word, and believes him who sent me, has eternal life, and doesn't come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

Some live in judgment they do not stop judging, or have they come out of judgment, thus, they have not passed out of death! Context is everything when reading a letter, no one reads one sentence of a letter thinking they can understand the writers meaning? However, false religion practices judging, because they are attorney of faith looking for the exception, the one clause to convict, or free a person from a crime.

1 John 4:21 This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother.

How could a person under law not judge? Now stop and think about that statement? When one see God as judge, and law giver, why would a person not be a judge and law giver themselves? But here the Son of Man states that if we believe him, and his word, we would not be judged, and we would pass out of death into life, so what is the context? The context is radical for a people living in a way of life under law for thousand's of years that judged them as sinners.

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

The law was good and righteous giving life to those not sinners, its reward was eternal life, for non-sinners, but for a sinner whom could not keep it, it judged them to death. The law was not for a righteous person, but for sinners. The law had no judgment for a non-sinner, it reward them with life.

1Tim.1:8 But we know that the law is good, if a man uses it lawfully,
1:9 as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 1:10 for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine;

Matt. 7:1 "Don't judge, so that you won't be judged. 7:2 For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you.

This is the context, those coming out from the law into Christ Jesus passed out of the judgment of the law, why? 1.) they were accounted sinless, hence, righteous, and 2.) they came into life, from death, how? By having Christ life indwelling them, and their life had become his life as a body member.

Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.

Philippians 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

Philippians 1:11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Subsequently, they were not judged dead any longer because of sin, which the law condemns as death. They were in life, eternal life, because of Christ life became their life. The question is for us, and them, do we stop judging by law of death, ourselves, and others, and live in faith in Christ Jesus life? This truth is impossible for flesh to understand, let alone live in.

Gal.5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.

James 4:5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who lives in us yearns jealously"? 4:6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."{Proverbs 3:34} 4:7 Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

The truth stand although we fight to live in such faith, we fail far short of it, but this truth stand despite us, and our human logic that tells us we are crazy to think we can walk in love, and not judgment of death! Here then we can be thankful for Christ apostles, whom sin like us and were plagued with what is common to all sinner teaching us about unmerited kindness. Without undeserved kindness such a truth could not be realized by law. Its that simple, Law is without mercy, it is not partial, it convicts one and all of the same crime of sin, death is the sentence with no middle ground. The excuses we make for are actions is death by the law!

Rom.2:1 Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things.
2:2 We know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things. 2:3 Do you think this, O man who judges those who practice such things, and do the same, that you will escape the judgment of God? 2:4 Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

Who then can save us from such a condemnation? This is our reality, face it now or later, truth will not change because we judge ourselves worthy. Christ was hated, rejected by lawgivers, and judges, despise as weak, and discounted as foolish to his people and the world for living in a fancy world. But they did not come to know the Fathers love, and/or pass into life by loving their brothers, they chose to stay with judgments of death, which is much easier, a wide road of Satan system of things all are upon.

Rom. 7:22 For I delight in God's law after the inward man,
7:23 but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members. 7:24 What a wretched man I am! Who will deliver me out of the body of this death?

1Cor. 1:18 For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but to us who are saved it is the power of God. 1:19 For it is written, "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, I will bring the discernment of the discerning to nothing."{Isaiah 29:14}
1:20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the lawyer of this world? Hasn't God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 1:21 For seeing that in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom didn't know God, it was God's good pleasure through the foolishness of the preaching to save those who believe. 1:22 For Jews ask for signs, Greeks seek after wisdom,
1:23 but we preach Christ crucified; a stumbling block to Jews, and foolishness to Greeks,

Thousand's of years removed from Christ statements we have a world wide empire of false religion with thousand's of sect of Christianity built by forming laws of death into a system of things controlled by judgment, and guilt, she sits a queen by providing the same lawgiver and judges to all the nations. Proud are its members, considered righteous by their judgments, but she has failed to pass out of judgment into life, and soon will go her judgments!

Romans 14:10 But you, why do you judge your brother? Or you again, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

Matthew 18:6 but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him that a huge millstone should be hung around his neck, and that he should be sunk in the depths of the sea.

Revelation 18:21 A mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and cast it into the sea, saying, "Thus with violence will Babylon, the great city, be thrown down, and will be found no more at all.
