The start of false worship started with self, (a seed) which is lawlessness, all sin is lawless, the man of lawlessness is without the remission of sin, which sin all stemming from the one body sin enter into our world through, Adam's. Those teaching self-righteousness, that is, the ability for a person born into the sin of Adam to work themselves out of sin is the great apostasy the real man of lawlessness. Essentially, they make the same error as did Eve, listening to the lies of the father of the lie, in telling Eve she could live eternally without God.

Those declared righteous stem from one person, the key, the door to eternal life, Christ Jesus, and none other! False sanctification, that is, self sanctification through good works, application of God's word the bible, position, religion and/or anything else under the Sun does not sanctify us. God is point specific where sanctification comes from, he set up a specific way, a covenant to sanctified us humans through. Going down any other road will not get a person into God's favor, nor cleanses them from the sin of Adam.

Mankind cannot remove the filth of their flesh, because it is the stain of sin. There are only two tree in God's world, not man's thoughts. One tree is his son righteousness, planted by God righteous hands, the other is Satan tree planted by Satan mouth the first lie. Both these trees have fruit, God's tree cannot produce sin, evil, bad, corrupt fruit it cannot, it is impossible because it stem from an incorruptible person Christ Jesus. Satan tree is a lie, its fruits are corrupt, that is, found in lawlessness because all sin is lawlessness, but he uses “words” to deceived the heart's of all mankind how just as he did Eve.

He claims because we are created in God's image, and we have good fruit like kindness, love, faith and so on, we can be like God not dying at all. The fruit we are born with as a human is enough to save us, and the world through some government, religion, and/or commerce. In other words, he ask us to believe the first lie to practice the good in us, not the evil from sin, and we don't need Christ sanctification. But even the demons shutter being created in the image of God, they at least know the truth of their judgment.

Christ bluntly rejected Satan tree as good, Christ stated truth that a corrupt tree cannot produce good fruit, no middle ground, we are either in the good tree or we are not! If we have no remission of sins our fruit stems from self-justification which is works of law. There is only one way too salvation remission of sin given us by God through the righteousness of Christ.

Romans 7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good.

This is why those called Christ brothers he is not ashamed to call them brothers because they are in him, and him in them, there is no other way into the kingdom of God, through any other door.
