Heb.1:4 having become so much better than the angels, as he has inherited a more excellent name than they have.
It hard for our fallen flesh to understand when someone says that another person is better than us, let alone God YHWH that it does not cause us hurt and unfavorable comparisons. Yet, God unabashedly states before all his son's in heaven and us upon earth if we believe the bible that Christ his son is better than his other spirit brothers, so how are we to understand this comment?
Matthew 19:16 Behold, one came to him and said, "Good teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?" 19:17 He said to him, "Why do you call me good? No one is good but one, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments."
Here is an analogy that hopefully with help us set aside the lust of our fallen flesh for reasoning in the Spirit? Depending on which hand we favor, lets say the right hand, is our better hand for doing certain task than our left hand that just can't seem to be made to perform certain necessary tasks, have we belittle the lack in our left hand?
1Cor.12:13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all given to drink into one Spirit. 12:14 For the body is not one member, but many. 12:15 If the foot would say, "Because I'm not the hand, I'm not part of the body," it is not therefore not part of the body. 12:16 If the ear would say, "Because I'm not the eye, I'm not part of the body," it's not therefore not part of the body. 12:17 If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the smelling be? 12:18 But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body, just as he desired.
The thought would not enter into our mind or someone else mind we were talking to. We have stated a fact, a truth for us, the right hand is the hand we do most things in life with. So what truth must we understand in what God was speaking about in this passage? Christ was chosen from the foundation of this world for a purpose, that is created for a function, just as our good hand is, right, or left has a purpose in this world. The purpose God had for Christ had never been experienced before by any spirit person, which was, to come to our earth being birth into flesh, as a complete human and than being made into the likeness of sin for the fallen human race. No other hand or body part was created for that purposes. Thus, Christ is better for what God had set forth in his purposes, and Christ was created for the salvation of the human race.
John. 1:14 The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth. 1:15 John testified about him. He cried out, saying, "This was he of whom I said, 'He who comes after me has surpassed me, for he was before me.'" 1:16 From his fullness we all received grace upon grace. 1:17 For the law was given through Moses. Grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 1:18 No one has seen God at any time. The one and only Son,{NU reads "God"} who is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.
Nothing was taken away from any other spirit son of God, or us, why? Because love, God, love does not take it adds to all his creation, its not possible for God to make things worst, and/or cause feeling of hurt by making others feel less, for they to are created for God's purpose and loved as much as the right hand. Its not personal just as our body parts aren't when it comes to love we own them saying we have a better hand or an eye than other is not personal its a fact of truth.
James1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers. 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.
We can rejoice in each of God's son's they are blessing created for us, to make our life better, to see and feel the character of God, in the flesh, but also in the spirit world. The problem we all face upon earth is the wickedness of our fallen flesh its cunning attributes in putting people into power for personal gain, causing all the wicked and bad feelings associated with those appointments to come up in us. However, we must not be conquered by evil, but conquer evil with good, what good, to always remember the truth of our heavenly Father as Christ set the way for us. Remembering only good and wonderful blessing exist with God in every loving thing he creates for his children that all things works together for those that love Him.
Rom. 8:28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. 8:29 For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."} 8:30 Whom he predestined, those he also called. Whom he called, those he also justified. Whom he justified, those he also glorified.
What seems to be real in our flesh is but an illusion, a place out of time with God and his creation. Lets elevate our thoughts above, although, we undergo so many trails in our flesh, our home is above, we are called to freedom where never again will an evil thought come up into our hearts and mind about our brothers or sisters, where only good will be done, and every eye will be dry from all the pain suffered upon earth.
Revelation 21:5 He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." He said, "Write, for these words of God are faithful and true."
Rev.21:2 I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready like a bride adorned for her husband. 21:3 I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying, "Behold, God's dwelling is with people, and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. 21:4 He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away." 21:5 He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." He said, "Write, for these words of God are faithful and true."
