MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > Luke 20:4 - Baptism of John or Heaven?

Luke 20:4 the baptism of John, was it from heaven, or from men?"

Are you saved in Christ? Many false prophet have gone forth since Christ stated these above words in Luke.20:4; instead teaching it is by their words, research, knowledge that we are warned and saved in. Without their efforts we will be lost when the persecution starts.

1 John 5:20 We know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

John 10:28 I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.

In fact, many powerful institutions of religion teach the same thoughts. But question Christ ask where did our baptism come from, heaven or from men? Do we understand John taught a baptism of repentance that brought men and woman to Christ. But Christ taught the reality, the truth, the baptism from heaven.

Heb.6:1 Therefore leaving the doctrine of the first principles of Christ, let us press on to perfection--not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, of faith toward God, 6:2 of the teaching of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 6:3 This will we do, if God permits.

Matthew 21:25 The baptism of John, where was it from? From heaven or from men?" They reasoned with themselves, saying, "If we say, 'From heaven,' he will ask us, 'Why then did you not believe him?'

Mark 1:4 John came baptizing{or, immersing} in the wilderness and preaching the baptism of repentance for forgiveness of sins.

The apostle Paul himself was baptize from heaven, not in repentance of sin from John, but by Christ intervention into his life as a brilliant blinding light. Paul was taken captive by Christ for a gift to the body of Christ. Paul was a chosen vessel chosen by God before his birth, so much for freedom of choice!

Ephesians 4:8 Therefore he says, "When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men."{Psalm 68:18}

2Cor.11:18 Seeing that many boast after the flesh, I will also boast.
11:19 For you bear with the foolish gladly, being wise. 11:20 For you bear with a man, if he brings you into bondage, if he devours you, if he takes you captive, if he exalts himself, if he strikes you on the face.

Paul did not send himself, although, he was powerful in learning, powerful in acts, and a teacher in all Israel, but he did not send himself or ever brag in his qualification, no! But why? Before we answer that question we must ask ourselves what baptism have I received, is it the baptism of repentance from dead works, or the baptism of Christ from heaven?

Mark 10:38 But Jesus said to them, "You don't know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I drink, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?"

Do understand why there is no baptism for repentance in Christ? Because the flesh is dead in Christ it has nothing to repent from the flesh has paid the wages of sin, death. The only baptism left is the same baptism Christ under went (Spirit) from heaven, one baptism of the head of the one body, baptizing all the body members. One baptism not many baptism, one body, one faith, one head, and his life dwells in his body members. But that is not true of the baptism for repentance John was teaching.

Romans 6:4 We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.

Ephesians 4:5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism,

Colossians 2:12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

Now here is the problem for ex-WTS member who are found in a constant state of repentance from sin they are not baptized from heaven, but from the earth into WTS, that is, accurate knowledge is their salvation, which members of the WTS has unearthed by research making it members blood guilty if not given to the world that will perish with it?

Romans 4:2 For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not toward God.

Romans 4:4 Now to him who works, the reward is not counted as grace, but as debt.

Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

Subsequently, they have ran as God's self-appointed prophet by knowledge into battle with all flesh to save the world by their efforts. They teach from repentance of dead works that those baptized by heaven (Holy Spirit), into the body of Christ can be snatched from Christ hand, it is by their knowledge researched that saves us, and without them we are dead, apostate, and evil.

The entire salvation of mankind rest upon the WTS and their preaching work. Those birthed by the WTS even if they are kicked out or leave take self-salvation with them. Research and knowledge Is their god, great fear and terror strikes their heart if they don't know everything it means they don't have accurate enough knowledge to be saved. They were mislead by the WTS, and from that point they set about finding more knowledge to correct their inaccurate knowledge, making themselves a new prophet that if you don't listen to their information you will perish.

The history of Acts shows many examples of ones being baptized from heaven with just a little knowledge do you know why? Simply put, the baptism from heaven does the teaching in the new creation, not man! How shocking that the person bring the Good News would trust so much they often just left and went to another location instead of staying and pounding accurate knowledge into his new student head

Act. 8:29 The Spirit said to Philip, "Go near, and join yourself to this chariot." 8:30 Philip ran to him, and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and said, "Do you understand what you are reading?"
8:31 He said, "How can I, unless someone explains it to me?" He begged Philip to come up and sit with him.
8:32 Now the passage of the Scripture which he was reading was this, "He was led as a sheep to the slaughter. As a lamb before his shearer is silent, so he doesn't open his mouth.
8:33 In his humiliation, his judgment was taken away. Who will declare His generation? For his life is taken from the earth."{Isaiah 53:7,8} 8:34 The eunuch answered Philip, "Who is the prophet talking about? About himself, or about someone else?"
8:35 Philip opened his mouth, and beginning from this Scripture, preached to him Jesus. 8:36 As they went on the way, they came to some water, and the eunuch said, "Behold, here is water. What is keeping me from being baptized?" 8:37 {TR adds "Philip said, 'If you believe with all your heart, you may.' He answered, 'I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.'"} 8:38 He commanded the chariot to stand still, and they both went down into the water, both Philip and the eunuch, and he baptized him. 8:39 When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, and the eunuch didn't see him any more, for he went on his way rejoicing. 8:40 But Philip was found at Azotus. Passing through, he preached the Good News to all the cities, until he came to Caesarea.

How presumptuous that Christ would set his entire kingdom upon fleshly apostles fighting over who was the greatest on his last night. How foolish of the apostle John to speak of love, when the great apostasy was raging trying to over turn God's work. How evil the apostle John was when rejecting ones that didn't have the Spirit, proving it because they could not hear the Spirit truth found in God's children.

1 John 5:6 This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.

1 John 4:13 By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.

1 John 4:6 We are of God. He who knows God listens to us. He who is not of God doesn't listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

2John.1:8 Watch yourselves, that we don't lose the things which we have accomplished, but that we receive a full reward.
1:9 Whoever transgresses and doesn't remain in the teaching of Christ, doesn't have God. He who remains in the teaching, the same has both the Father and the Son. 1:10 If anyone comes to you, and doesn't bring this teaching, don't receive him into your house, and don't welcome him, 1:11 for he who welcomes him participates in his evil works.

This is the question where is your own baptism from?

1 John 2:20 You have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all have knowledge.{Or, "know what is true." Or, "know all things."}

1 John 2:27 As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don't need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.
