****1John.1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1:10 If we say that we haven't sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
What is the conclusion of the matter of sin? This really is the issue John will address in his letter of first John, that is, how can anyone of us be sinless when we can't stop sinning? False religion which was being sown into the field of God's planting back then, claims, and still practices today that human can by obeying the commandments stop sinning.
1 John 3:9 Whoever is born of God doesn't commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can't sin, because he is born of God.
1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
In other words, salvation depends upon human faithfulness in applying God's written word in their lives which scrubs away sin inherited by Adam and Eve. God on the other hand, tells mankind we lie if say we have no sin, or have stopped sinning by our own human will sold into captivity by sin. All are dying from sin, not one person has taken sin out of themselves since sin enter into our world.
Romans 9:11 For being not yet born, neither having done anything good or bad, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him who calls,
Romans 9:32 Why? Because they didn't seek it by faith, but as it were by works of the law. They stumbled over the stumbling stone;
1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
This seed of false religion would soon grow into a world wide empire of false religion of captivity for the humans enslaving them to the power of sin once again. The great mystery of Babylon was to convince people of God's love in for freely, and once for all times, forgiving their sins while at the same time teaching them their religious institution is in charge of doling out the blood of Christ - measuring it out an inch at a time depending upon what good work they were doing for their religion.
Hebrews 4:10 For he who has entered into his rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.
Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.
2 Timothy 1:9 who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before times eternal.
Ephesians 2:9 not of works, that no one would boast.
Subsequently, massive and complicated systems of forgiveness were formed and empires of wealth control over human and their governments spouted up. Those without faith, that is, of the fleshly mind who could not understand unmerited kindness of God whom themselves judge others by works of law quickly seized upon this false teaching, it was food for the weeds, the same food found in every facet of mankind creation since sin enter into the world, which sinful teaching permeates every institution of mankind from religion, government into commerce.
Galatians 3:2 I just want to learn this from you. Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?
Galatians 3:5 He therefore who supplies the Spirit to you, and works miracles among you, does he do it by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?
Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.
However, the apostle John does not in his writing place salvation into mankind's hands, that is, in what they teach or build on earth. God himself was moved to save human because of his own love, he provided a way for each of us so we can simply be saved, without a complicated mystery of works of law, how? God provided us a precious righteous life to replace our own life sold into sin. God freely without strings, that is, from love which does not owe us a single thing but love releasing all payments of sin. Yes, our own love back to our Father is the free, and pure worship that makes us loved and precious to our Father.
Rom.13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God, and knows God.
1 John 4:8 He who doesn't love doesn't know God, for God is love.
1 John 4:9 By this God's love was revealed in us, that God has sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
No one can take that love from us or God love, nor can they change God's love for those loving the Father and his free gift of Christ life; there is no power in heaven or earth that can take us away from God's love. Do we openly freely offer that same gift to others? Ponder the unmerited gift of Christ life? we cannot stop sinning by any means in our life, but God purchases us from our deserved judgment of our sins, freely forgiving us once for all time(s). Now stop and reason can there be anything in heaven or upon earth more powerful than God's unmerited gift which power found in Christ life stripping all power from Satan the great accuser of Christ brothers?
Ephesians 2:2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the children of disobedience;
Ephesians 3:7 of which I was made a servant, according to the gift of that grace of God which was given me according to the working of his power.
Ephesians 3:16 that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man;
Ephesians 3:20 Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
Now imagine again, what scheme must wicked spirits son's of God come up with to enslave the human race back into sin?
1Cor.3:1 Brothers, I couldn't speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly, as to babies in Christ. 3:2 I fed you with milk, not with meat; for you weren't yet ready. Indeed, not even now are you ready, 3:3 for you are still fleshly. For insofar as there is jealousy, strife, and factions among you, aren't you fleshly, and don't you walk in the ways of men? 3:4 For when one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," aren't you fleshly? 3:5 Who then is Apollos, and who is Paul, but servants through whom you believed; and each as the Lord gave to him? 3:6 I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase. 3:7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. 3:8 Now he who plants and he who waters are the same, but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor. 3:9 For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's farming, God's building. 3:10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another builds on it. But let each man be careful how he builds on it.
Philippians 2:13 For it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure.
Colossians 1:29 for which I also labor, striving according to his working, which works in me mightily.
