1John.2:6 he who says he remains in him ought himself also to walk just like he walked.
How did Christ walk while on earth? Sadly, with 50 some thousand's Christian's religion upon earth today, and billions of followers each person has their own theory in how Christ walked on earth!
1 Corinthians 14:33 for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace. As in all the assemblies of the saints,
However, if we are reading the words of the apostle John in his letter here we shouldn't be confused about how Christ walked while on earth? Christ did not walk in speculation, or theory, he walked in Spirit and truth. In other words, he was lead by the will of the Father, he listen to the Spirit of truth God placed in Christ, Christ did not trust flesh, nor did he seek flesh in pleasing men, or religion, nor did he fear the judgment of men. Christ did not think he was equal to God, so where he like Adam went along with the Devils idea that God was withholding something good from Christ. In other words, if God was love he should give you everything so you never have an uncomfortable day on earth, God should spoil his children if not God is wicked keeping things for himself selfishly.
John 8:40 But now you seek to kill me, a man who has told you the truth, which I heard from God. Abraham didn't do this.
John 19:35 He who has seen has testified, and his testimony is true. He knows that he tells the truth, that you may believe.
James 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers. 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.
We could list a thousand's more things how Christ walked I suppose if all were known of the things Christ did, it would fill the whole world with books about his actions upon earth, but we still have missed the main point of John's letter the key to staying in the light, in walking like Christ although we be different as a person, and what is that? Those in Christ are living letters a witness to God's glory, like Christ was a witness, the greatest witness to God's glory mankind has ever seen on earth, but how?
2 Corinthians 3:2 You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men;
The key to all truth is love, walking in love is a living letter to God's glory. In other words, its being written as we live and breathe, each moment for God, is the God of the living, not the dead, what is dead? Words written on pages of whatever material. Yes, dead, about past actions of some other person that is faithful, but not living in love by daily actions.
2 Corinthians 3:3 being revealed that you are a letter of Christ, served by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tablets of stone, but in tablets that are hearts of flesh.
Matthew 22:32 'I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?'{Exodus 3:6} God is not the God of the dead, but of the living."
Each thought and action Christ took was for love of God, whole, mind, soul, and body, perfectly! Yes, in context to John's letter Christ because of his personal love for his Father Jehovah fulfilled the righteous law of God. Love fulfilled the law, it completed it, freeing us of our sins, we are loved so much God buried our sinful flesh that accuses us day and night of being unworthy in living up to the law, paying us the wages of sin, death. Moreover, and our certainly not having the power to be perfect in love.
1 John 3:5 You know that he was revealed to take away our sins, and in him is no sin.
1 John 3:6 Whoever remains in him doesn't sin. Whoever sins hasn't seen him, neither knows him.
1 John 4:16 We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
Thus, if we want to walk as Christ, we must walk in love, how can we walk in love as a sinner? This is the point of John's letter, false brothers were stating they could give themselves the perfect gift of life by earning it through knowledge, and such esoteric knowledge made sinners worthy of eternal life. Yes, trading the glory of God, the gift freely given (Christ), for knowledge to glorifying men in their flesh which is dead in Christ by God's gift where God has made us new in Christ righteous life so we walk in love by Christ will, and his mind which fully loved the Father so that we are translated into the Son's kingdom love by a indescribable gift of God's unmerited kindness.
1 John 4:11 Beloved, if God loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.
1 John 4:8 He who doesn't love doesn't know God, for God is love.
1 John 4:9 By this God's love was revealed in us, that God has sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
Let us stay in God's love, by staying in the power of God's love the gift of undeserved kindness.
Colossians 1:13 who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love;
2 Peter 3:18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
1 Peter 5:10 But may the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
