Knowing All Things

1John.2:20 You have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all have knowledge.{Or, "know what is true." Or, "know all things."} 2:21 I have not written to you because you don't know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth.
[/b]
Here we find much confusion for Christian's, in fact, nothing seems to terrify some Christian's groups more then a person stating what the apostle John's wrote here! That the brothers of Christ have an anointing that actually teaches them all things they need about the truth, shocking words!

1 John 2:27 As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don't need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.

Yes, stunning words because it strips every person, and/or group of the unrighteous power to enslave God's children by their knowledge of the scriptures. Which is the entire foundation stone all false religion stands upon a stone of enslavement which is destroyed by John's words; if his words are true? Yet, if they are not true then God neither has any longer children upon earth who are “in the truth”?

1 John 4:6 We are of God. He who knows God listens to us. He who is not of God doesn't listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

1 John 2:21 I have not written to you because you don't know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth.

2 Peter 2:2 Many will follow their immoral{TR reads "destructive" instead of "immoral"} ways, and as a result, the way of the truth will be maligned.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

If one owes their understanding of the truth to a religion; some person other than God, they are not of God. Subsequently, they cannot have the truth! But how can someone make such an outlandish statement as John did when we all have bibles, we all read others religious person writings, we have all been influence by some religion or person, and/or family members?

John 14:17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world can't receive; for it doesn't see him, neither knows him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you.

John 15:26 "When the Counselor{Greek Parakletos: Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, and Comfortor.} has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.

But actually John is talking about two different things here. John's letter is speaking about a fundamental truth for all God's anointed. John is speaking of two distinct separate spirit(s) one, of this world he already stated at the start of his letter, and secondly, the Spirit of God. One is light and the other is darkness, one is righteous, and the other lawless, that is, unrighteous coming from sin not atone for by the blood of Christ.

1 John 2:15 Don't love the world, neither the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father's love isn't in him.

1 John 3:1 Behold, how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn't know us, because it didn't know him.

1 John 3:13 Don't be surprised, my brothers, if the world hates you.

1 John 4:5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them.

The two spirits do not mixes there is an immediate and profound rejection of each others, with no doubt that the spirit of our flesh opposes the Spirit of God, it lust against the Spirit of God. The truth of the bible in the Greek Scriptures stand on the birth of God's children, by what? The very life of God, his Spirit of God, because they are dead to the flesh, so their sins our blotted out, put away once for all times never to be remember no more.

Gal. 5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.

Being forgiven, declared righteous by Christ blood allows them to be in Christ body as his members without sin, as a spirit person created by God's own Spirit making them light as Christ is, God's light. With that context the life of Christ indwells the anointed child of God. In other words, they have a test stone, a touch stone indwelling them that is righteous the life of Christ which rejects the spirit of the flesh, the two are diametrically opposed to each others.

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

1 John 1:5 This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

No matter what words are spoken by the flesh even if it uses God's word the bible, or the person has a PHD in theology the spirit of the flesh is rejected by the righteous life of Christ indwelling God's children. In others words, if it spoken by the spirit of the flesh it is an error, its that simple.

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

The flesh is yeast which befouls the whole lump of Christ the unleavened bread of God having no flesh; the spirit of the flesh is not in Christ or God, both incorruptible to sin or darkness. This sure seal of God's approval indwells each child of God as God's teacher. The question is. is it from God or the spirit of the flesh using writing about God, and/or preaching about God? This testing is not a mystery it is a fact that we are told in no uncertain terms that one cannot be in the flesh and please God, because the spirit of the flesh no matter how impressive, no matter how important or great that person is, is not of God or Christ they are spirit from the spirit of their flesh, not the Spirit of God just because they employ God's name, bible or have a zeal for God's word.

John. 5:38 You don't have his word living in you; because you don't believe him whom he sent.
5:39 "You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and these are they which testify about me.
5:40 Yet you will not come to me, that you may have life.
5:41 I don't receive glory from men.
5:42 But I know you, that you don't have God's love in yourselves.
5:43 I have come in my Father's name, and you don't receive me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive him.
5:44 How can you believe, who receive glory from one another, and you don't seek the glory that comes from the only God?

We of Christ do not need anyone to test the spirit(s) for us, or teach us what is clean and unclean regarding righteousness and unrighteousness, because we are the test stone by having the Spirit of God in dwelling us by the life of Christ, which Spirit is the truth of God. This is the meaning of John's words there was no need to argue over words, if they were of the spirit of flesh there was nothing anyone of God's children could do by argument would change the spirit of the flesh to please God.

Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

Romans 8:12 So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

It was simple, the two spirits were like opposite ends of magnet they could not be brought together no matter how brilliant our message is, or how much compromises we make to appease! They could not hear our message coming from the Spirit of God, nor would they listen to us because they are not of us. It was not a war of words against the flesh to prove it wrong, or defeat it, because our own flesh was not defeated by religious doctrinal wars it was killed by God's own love for us in Christ not because we did something good or bad.

2 Corinthians 5:16 Therefore we know no one after the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.

2 Corinthians 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we don't wage war according to the flesh;

2 Corinthians 10:4 for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds.

The truth could not be lost because Christ is our truth, and his life is incorruptible if anyone has God's Spirit, that is, being anointed by God's Spirit it will always reject the flesh, and its spirit, so the truth of God, what he is, who he is, and what is righteous and unrighteous can never be lost. It is only in the flesh and its justification of it wars of proving oneself righteous in the flesh like all the world does that will mislead God's children. If they place reverences on religion, people, unearthing old scrolls as being the source of truth they are spreading yeast. The truth is the Spirit that teaches us between flesh and God's Spirit, it is what Adam lost, it is what God is restoring to us, by Christ his Spirit to mankind.

1 John 4:6 We are of God. He who knows God listens to us. He who is not of God doesn't listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

1 John 4:13 By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.

1 John 5:6 This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.

Thus, reading constantly the bible may or may not help us listen to the Spirit of truth indwelling us. The spirit of the flesh can be so stubborn that it refuses God's Spirit direction because of some doctrines teaching that causes our own flesh to shut our mind to the Spirit of God and it teachings us the new covenant of love. We can promote some new light that we think mankind cannot live without or God's people will never have the complete truth of God if we do not drive it with our flesh where we deny the immutable undeniable truth of the Spirit freely given us by the life of Christ indwelling us.

Hebrews 3:7 Therefore, even as the Holy Spirit says, "Today if you will hear his voice.

Philemon 1:25 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.

There is no truth in the flesh it was rejected as evil by God once Adam sinned if one puts yeast into unleavened bread it corrupts it, it does not improve it, or makes it better. The entire lesson John teaches us is about the spirit of the world opposed to the Spirit of God that each child of God has, or they are not of God or Christ. It is not an argument to distrust everyone, and everything, it is a positive truth that we have nothing to worry about if we remain in the Spirit that it cannot mislead us or deny the truth Christ Jesus.

Hebrews 3:6 but Christ is faithful as a Son over his house; whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.

Hebrews 2:17 Therefore he was obligated in all things to be made like his brothers, that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make atonement for the sins of the people.

1 Thessalonians 5:24 He who calls you is faithful, who will also do it.

2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you, and guard you from the evil one.

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
