Romans 4:25 who was delivered up for our trespasses, and was raised for our justification.[/b]
What makes a person proud? Well there is onething for certain it is when they feel justified in their actions! When people feel blameless, above the judgment.
Psalms 138:6 For though Yahweh is high, yet he looks after the lowly; but the proud, he knows from afar.
Proverbs 16:19 It is better to be of a lowly spirit with the poor, than to divide the plunder with the proud.
1 Corinthians 4:7 For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn't receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?
There is much confusion particular among Christian's over justification, how do we know this? The bible makes clear how we know the true heart of anyone? Just listen to them and soon you will find the truth of whats on their hearts and mind. Sadly, Christian's are notorious for justifying their every word and actions, how?
2 Timothy 2:14 Remind them of these things, charging them in the sight of the Lord, that they don't argue about words, to no profit, to the subverting of those who hear.
2 Peter 2:18 For, uttering great swelling words of emptiness, they entice in the lusts of the flesh, by licentiousness, those who are indeed escaping from those who live in error;
Philippians 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;
Here is the problem mistakenly made by all of us, Christian's uses the bible like a glove to coverup their true heart condition believing doing so justified them because Christ used God's word to correct and stop the Devil each time he tempted Christ. But that is not what justified Christ, it did not make Christ more righteous or a better person, do we comprehend that?
James.3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth.
Matt.7:17 Even so, every good tree produces good fruit; but the corrupt tree produces evil fruit.
1Pet. 2:22 who did not sin, "neither was deceit found in his mouth."{Isaiah 53:9} 2:23 Who, when he was cursed, didn't curse back. When he suffered, didn't threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously; 2:24 who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed. 2:25 For you were going astray like sheep; but now have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer{"Overseer" is from the Greek episkopon, which can mean overseer, curator, guardian, or superintendent.} of your souls.
Christ was defending the truth not justifying himself as the person called the truth. Satan was already a liar there was not misjudgment in God judgment of Satan, for God cannot lie. The bible does not justify us, in fact, it might just make us self-righteous deceiving ourselves into thinking we have earned some credit with God because we wrap everyone of our motives, actions, and words into righteousness of the holy writings.
Proverbs 26:12 Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.
The bible was not written to justify us, did you know that? The bible was written to instruct us about God's means of justification for sinner and what steps God has take to reconcile us to himself in Christ Jesus, the words of the bible do not justify sinners, don't be mislead as so many are and practice. So many practice righteousness by words, thinking holy words changes themselves and others. Words make us feel better if they are good and righteous words but they do not change our flesh into a new creation.
Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.
There nothing in God's written word that we can read that will justify us. But rather condemn us if we are not justified in the blood of Christ Jesus. No religion, or group thinking, nor how many people in authority approves us still that is not God's justification for sinners, did you know that? This is the real context of apostle Paul's writing above in the book of Roman's. So many thought they were justified in their actions, by the law, by keeping certain festival's of the Jews, but none not one person was justified by the commandments of God did you know that?
Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.
1 Timothy 1:9 as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
There is not a group justification so the approval of men in power in a religion is a false sense of security. It not faith, in Christ our justification. it is rather fear of men which is cowardice the fear of losing their approval and displeasing them whom we have given glory and honor to because we lack faith in Christ justifying us by faith.
Matthew 10:28 Don't be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.{or, Hell.}
Saying and boasting in we don't fear men does not justify us before God, we must stop the word justification thinking that it takes sins away and makes us righteous before God. Christ justifies us, nothing else under the Sun or in heaven can justify us, but Christ, we are then not defending our actions, but Christ whom we have become apart of because of his precious life, do we understand?
1Cor. 4:1 So let a man think of us as Christ's servants, and stewards of God's mysteries. 4:2 Here, moreover, it is required of stewards, that they be found faithful. 4:3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by man's judgment. Yes, I don't judge my own self. 4:4 For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord. 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.
Heb. 4:9 There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God. 4:10 For he who has entered into his rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from his. 4:11 Let us therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience.
