Testing The spirits

Chapter 4

1John.4:1 Beloved, don't believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Why worry about spirits if they don't exist? Yes, Christian's are not warring with flesh and blood, but with wicked spirit force in heavenly places. Yet, unfortunately most of us can't separate our own flesh from spirit should we then be in wonderment why there is so much confusion in Christian's over how to test spirits?

Ephesians 6:12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

False prophets have a spirit, a spirit of rebellion against the authority of Christ. The first false prophet was Satan the Devil our bibles tell us, he spoke from where? He spoke from is own spirit, his own originality not from the correct Spirit of God. His spirit was less then God's Spirit, and his words brought corruption and death into our world, and not the eternal life that Eve thought she was going to get from her own rebellious spirit.

2 Peter 1:21 For no prophecy ever came by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke, being moved by the Holy Spirit.

Our emotions are not testing the spirits, it is supremely important that we understand that? We all us have emotions, but our emotions are not the Spirit by which we test the spirits to see if they are from God, or a lesser source. Furthermore, none of us should think that when a person has strong emotional feeling and they love God that our flesh automatically believes God feels are the same as ours are. Hence, the best intentions tied to words of our bible can and has mislead the majority of mankind into false religion since Christ was on earth.

Matthew 19:17 He said to him, "Why do you call me good? No one is good but one, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments."

James. 1:19 So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger;
1:20 for the anger of man doesn't produce the righteousness of God.

Lets us remember as well that because people can states words from their bibles does not mean that is the way we test spirits either? The facts are, many Christian's religions today believe the words just below these which states Christ came in the flesh, and died for us, but they are still in false religion.

We do not test spirits by words coming from our mouths, or even the other person mouth. The entire book of First John is about our anointing that teaches us all things. Its not about words without Spirit, or words alone, if it were just about words there would be no need for God to teach us by his Spirit, without human words.

1 Corinthians 2:5 that your faith wouldn't stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

1 Corinthians 4:20 For the Kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

The context of John's letter is not about fear that somehow those belonging to Christ would not know the difference of Christ voice and the voice of evil spirits. They were not to be turn aside by false teachers claiming that without their supreme knowledge of God's word the body of Christ could not survive or know Christ.

2 Timothy 2:19 However God's firm foundation stands, having this seal, "The Lord knows those who are his,"{Numbers 16:5} and, "Let every one who names the name of the Lord{TR reads "Christ" instead of "the Lord"} depart from unrighteousness.

John.10:4 Whenever he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. 10:5 They will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him; for they don't know the voice of strangers."

That type of spirit comes from the flesh of self-appointed teachers that are not of God, those claims are boasting in the flesh, and it denies why Christ came in the flesh, it not about words, but the spirit from flesh, the spirit of human used by wicked spirit force unwittingly to mislead others with the best intentions.

John 6:63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

Christ came to abolish death, the death in our flesh from its judgment. That is why the flesh has no value at all as our Lord and Savior told us, and that is why those in flesh can't please God, and cannot be in subjection to the Spirit of God. Subsequently, it should be profoundly obvious that the spirits coming from the flesh can't be of God either.

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

2 Timothy 1:10 but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who abolished death, and brought life and immortality to light through the Good News.

The confusion is, we have been taught when hearing the word flesh that nothing from the flesh can feel good, sound good, and or do good. But let us remember there are good feelings in our flesh, there are good feelings in demons that do beautiful powerful works, but they are not of God's, what does that mean? Those feelings of good in flesh or demons are not of or in God's Spirit. Eves own good feelings about herself thought her motives pure and if they are pure than how could they be wrong?

Proverbs 20:9 Who can say, "I have made my heart pure. I am clean and without sin?"

Proverbs 30:12 There is a generation that is pure in their own eyes, yet are not washed from their filthiness.

No that is not John's point, it was the Spirit of truth and righteousness within God's anointed as it was in Christ Jesus that rejected the spirits of flesh and wicked spirit force, it not words alone. No! It can't be because in just a few words below John statement here, he tells us that it is the Spirit that is truth, and it is because we have God's Spirit the world cannot hear us. John is speaking light and darkness, the two cannot dwell together and be one. Only the flesh can dwell with the flesh, and only the Spirit can dwell with the Spirit.

1John. 4:5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them. 4:6 We are of God. He who knows God listens to us. He who is not of God doesn't listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

1John. 4:13 By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.

1John.5:6 This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.

If Christ had not came in the flesh neither would we have an anointing from God that teaches us what? Some things? No! It teaches us all things about what? The letter of John is clear on that point? It teaches us about the light, from another world, why? Because we are not of this world, as Christ was not of this world. Remembering our flesh is of this world, and its spirit is against the Spirit of God from his world, the two are opposed to each other, so our spirit from our flesh lust against God's Spirit it cannot stop its lusting because it is the dire enemy of God's Spirit created from rebellion against God in sin and corrupt the darkness of this world, let us not confuse the two thinking we will come up with a better solution than in Christ coming in his flesh to put ours flesh to death so we could be declared righteous and receive the anointing of sonship from God the Spirit.

Gal.5:16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won't fulfill the lust of the flesh. 5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.

James.3:10 Out of the same mouth comes forth blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. 3:11 Does a spring send out from the same opening fresh and bitter water?
3:12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water.

Here is the problem John is addressing the same problem all the writers of the Greek scriptures faced but could not stop the problem. It is yeast permeating the Christ, that is, his Spirit filled truths about God, permeating them with human reasoning from the flesh because the flesh feels good about itself.

Gal.5:8 This persuasion is not from him who calls you. 5:9 A little yeast grows through the whole lump.

In other words, a polluted yeast filled kingdom on earth that Christ stated would happen. Words of truth and Spirit ruined by the fleshes emotions that wicked spirit force uses to mislead entire nations and religions. Not God's anointed, which if possible, means, God's had filled in his love, and his predestining of them before the beginning of our world. How does one stop the Spirit of God? How does one stop the teaching of God's Holy Spirit in one of his children? How does one pollute Christ righteousness, the very reason he came to earth in the flesh to make us alive in the Spirit, upon the death of his flesh given for us freely that is in possible because Christ is not part of this world, or its flesh?

Matthew 24:24 For there will arise false christs, and false prophets, and they will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.

Roman. 8:28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
8:29 For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."}
8:30 Whom he predestined, those he also called. Whom he called, those he also justified. Whom he justified, those he also glorified.

If God is for us, who in the flesh can stand against us? What power does wicked spirits force have when Satan the Devil was defeated upon Christ resurrection, moreover, Christ conquered the world of darkness under the power of Satan, defeating death, Hades, stripping all powers, and authority of this earth and also in heaven by the incorruptible Spirit of God indwelling him.

Rom.8:31 What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
8:32 He who didn't spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things? 8:33 Who could bring a charge against God's chosen ones? It is God who justifies. 8:34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

John is not thinking for one moment his anointing is weak that it is not guarded, reserved for him in heaven; God cannot lie. What John is letting us know is can we tells the difference between the spirits of flesh that constantly frets, worries, and are always anxious that cannot know God is love? Do we think those spirits are from God? Do we understand that the flesh is under the power of wicked spirits forces in heavenly places and rejects that truth as nonsense! Do we know it was Eves independence that all flesh has the same independent thinking that it can't be influence by wicked spirit forces.

1 Peter 1:5 who by the power of God are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

James.3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed. 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
3:18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

The flesh believes it is by words only it is influenced, it also believes, its only by it own will that it can it be influenced, by its own mind? The flesh is lead by wicked spirit force in heavenly places, but the flesh can't see, or know that so what does it do? It attacks and wars constantly with other peoples flesh, not realizing that all flesh is in darkness and mislead. Thus, here is the point of our bible in the Greek scriptures and it cannot be deny - if we get this, we know why Christ had to come in the flesh for us, to put away the sins of our flesh, to die in the flesh to redeem us so we could received the promised Holy Spirit the teacher, under the one Shepard Christ Jesus.

Romans 7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.{NU omits "who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"}

2Cor.4:4 in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them.

1 John 5:19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

Here is the point if we do not belong to Christ, and are lead by the Spirit of truth not of this world we then are mislead, and being lead by wicked spirit force, there is no middle ground between light and darkness, that is, the ground of shadowy deception the flesh loves which has permeated into the thinking of most religious people, and is the great mystery to all flesh.

Matt.5:37 But let your 'Yes' be 'Yes' and your 'No' be 'No.' Whatever is more than these is of the evil one.

1 John 1:5 This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

James. 1:15 Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death. 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers.
1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.
1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.
