John.5:1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God. Whoever loves the father also loves the child who is born of him.
Here the apostle John states what is so simply obvious that one would wonder what is the point? But are John's words so simple? Yes! That is, if we take them in context to the rest of the book of first John, which was a letter long before man got his hands on it and legalized it into chapters and verses.
The entire book express that those born of God are not known by the world, the world is any person not of Christ, in their flesh. Those of the world can't hear or know the things of the Spirit. Subsequently, neither can they hear or know what those anointed of God by His Spirit are doing or saying because neither did the they know Christ.
Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.
Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God
1 John 3:1 Behold, how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn't know us, because it didn't know him.
Now in that context what is simple for those born of God can and does become very deep for those in darkness for those serving the flesh and worshiping in the flesh. Christ Jesus was born of God, God birth Christ as his anointed on earth, he was born again from the flesh into God the Spirit and started his ministry at the age of 30-years.
John 1:32 John testified, saying, "I have seen the Spirit descending like a dove out of heaven, and it remained on him.
John 1:33 I didn't recognize him, but he who sent me to baptize in water, he said to me, 'On whomever you will see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.'
What that birth did in Christ is what it does in every child of God, it first proves that God loves us, because we are birth into his love, for God is love, an in perfect love there is no sin, thus, it puts our judgment of our flesh outside of God whom is Spirit and truth. That believing is faith a faith given to us in a unshakable kingdom, it is a baptism of fire as well.
Ephesians 2:4 But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us.
Romans 8:37 No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
1 John 4:10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice{"atoning sacrifice" is from the Greek "hilasmos," an appeasing, propitiating, or the means of appeasement or propitiation--the sacrifice that turns away God's wrath because of our sin.} for our sins.
Thus, we are separated from this world to be apart of a new world, the world of God, we then are new, a new creation, one not of this world, a world that cannot know God like us, because they don't have the Holy Spirit that is a constant reprover, reminder, sanctification, and wisdom not of this world but from above, from God that comes down to all those born again in perfect light given by the free gift of God's love.
1Cor.1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:
James.1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers. 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.
1 John 1:5 This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
Moreover, the love of God gives us a new birth, which makes us part of Christ own life, as he body members. That statement should be self-evident that body members are all under the same love of the body, a body that is cherish, treasured by Christ Jesus himself, there can be no division in Christ, that is, no lack of love which cause division, so yes in the gift of God's love we love each other.
Eph. 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. 5:24 But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; 5:26 that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, 5:27 that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
However, bring in division into the body and calling it of Christ is simply proving the person is not of Christ because they are of the flesh, and flesh and blood is not birthed into Christ but rather it should be put to death.
Herein is the truth John spoke about in his entire letter, he was not concerned as the flesh is warring constantly trying make gains in the flesh as all the world does in darkness that the body of Christ could ever be stolen or taken from God, let alone Christ.
Rom. 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 8:39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
1Cor. 13:7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 13:8 Love never fails.
The love of God is the body of Christ birthed and created by him as part of himself, just as we are part of Christ.
John.17:23 I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that you sent me, and loved them, even as you loved me.
