Daily Bible Thought > Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.

James.1:26 If anyone among you thinks himself to be religious while he doesn't bridle his tongue, but deceives his heart, this man's religion is worthless.

Its not good to think ourselves “religious” the human heart is treacherous who can know it but God? Self-evaluation is good, but thinking we our religious giving us the right to tie God to our motives is worthless religion.

Pure worship does not come from man/woman, pure worship has to be establish by God from above to us who fail short of God’s glory in this we measure ourselves against Christ above and not corruptible flesh below.

Psalms 34:2 My soul shall boast in Yahweh. The humble shall hear of it, and be glad.

2Cor. 10:12 For we are not bold to number or compare ourselves with some of those who commend themselves. But they themselves, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves with themselves, are without understanding.
