***Rom.5:6 For while we were yet weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
How were we yet weak? Well, in context the apostle Paul is speaking about being a sinner, but aren't we all sinners? Yes, we as humans cannot stop sinning, and sin is weakness, a disease that brings with it death. However, the apostle Paul is not talking about the fact we die from sin, and we cannot stop sinning. What he is referring to is God's action towards mankind so the they can be right before God, that is, strong and not weak?
Galatians 4:9 But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, why do you turn back again to the weak and miserable elemental principles, to which you desire to be in bondage all over again?
2 Corinthians 13:4 For he was crucified through weakness, yet he lives through the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we will live with him through the power of God toward you.
Paul speak to boldness that is given a person by God's justification of them, he speaking about Christ Jesus merit, which means Christ proved perfect without sin, our being purchased by the life of Christ as the lamb of God, stops our judgment of sin with God. Christ life stop God's wrath towards us, what wrath is that? The wrath of God's righteous law against sinners. Now we have a strength in freedom to stand before God as a righteous person, a person blameless, absolved of our deserved judgment. Moreover, we become son's of God in being apart of the Christ life.
Rom.5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we will be saved from God's wrath through him. 5:10 For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life.
Many think of learning the bible and growing in understanding is what makes them a strong spiritual person, but spiritual strength comes from what Christ did for us, our being born again into a new life, which life is spiritual, and not fleshly. The boldness we have is a gift of God's love, it is given freely, which gives us power, it is not in self-justification, but rather God's justification in Christ Jesus life. Paul is not speaking of joining a group and growing within that religious group for years and becoming a strong spiritual person in sinning less, that is, false religion.
1 John 5:18 We know that whoever is born of God doesn't sin, but he who was born of God keeps himself, and the evil one doesn't touch him.
1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We sin not in Christ because we are bought by Christ blood once for all times, we do not sinless by our human efforts, we were purchase as a gift of God's love undeservedly from His goodness. We maintain a sinless standing because God removed our judgment, and because he is faithful to his word that cannot fail us.
Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.
Romans 8:10 If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness.
1 John 3:9 Whoever is born of God doesn't commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can't sin, because he is born of God.
Furthermore, God plants a seed in us of incorruptibility, and writes his laws into our hearts making us new with the same desire as Christ not to sin. We are apart of a good tree as the fruit on the tree under the will of the tree, we produce fruit that is sinless because the tree is sinless, our every desire is not to sin, but don't get this confused with not being a sinner once for all times through God works and not ours. Just because we desire to be a better person and want to please God did not justify us making us sinless before God. What has justify us is God's desire to reconcile us to himself because of love. Subsequently, when we justify ourselves we fall from the grace given too us by God freely. In other words, we are give freedom and life by God undeserved kindness in a gift so grand and wondrous you or I could never pay for it. God will not removed his word or that gift, he will make it have certain success if we put faith in it.
Heb.4:7 he again defines a certain day, today, saying through David so long a time afterward (just as has been said), "Today if you will hear his voice, don't harden your hearts."{Psalm 95:7-8} 4:8 For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have spoken afterward of another day. 4:9 There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God. 4:10 For he who has entered into his rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.
Many have been justified by God and stayed in a religion of works of law, only to find themselves justifying their every action falling into what Christ stated would happen spiritual sickness receiving back the measure of judgment they judge losing their freedom and boldness with God in pleasing men which did not, nor could ever justify one of God's sons.
Heb. 4:16 Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need.
Hebrews 12:28 Therefore, receiving a Kingdom that can't be shaken, let us have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe.
2 Timothy 1:9 who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before times eternal.
***Rom.5:7 For one will hardly die for a righteous man. Yet perhaps for a righteous person someone would even dare to die.
5:8 But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Who did Christ die for? Well, stunning, the worst sinners in our world, not those who think they are above others, those that look down on others, but the lowest of mankind some of who society consider criminals, Christ died for all sinners, which in God's eyes is all mankind ever born on earth.
1Cor.1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. 1:26 For you see your calling, brothers, that not many are wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, and not many noble; 1:27 but God chose the foolish things of the world that he might put to shame those who are wise. God chose the weak things of the world, that he might put to shame the things that are strong;
But who would most people die for? those they respect, love, but hardly for a stranger, or one society considers an outcast, like a criminal. The apostle Paul explains early in his letter to the Romans the truth about the human heart, not what comes out of our mouth in front others but in the secret person of our heart. The picture is not pretty, it does not flatter us, in fact, it offends most people reading Paul's words who thinking they can fool God and others by words not truth in their hearts.
Rom. 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.
3:11 There is no one who understands. There is no one who seeks after God. 3:12 They have all turned aside. They have together become unprofitable. There is no one who does good, no, not, so much as one."{Psalms 14:1-3; 53:1-3; Ecclesiastes 7:20}
3:13 "Their throat is an open tomb. With their tongues they have used deceit."{Psalm 5:9} "The poison of vipers is under their lips;"{Psalm 140:3} 3:14 "Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness."{Psalm 10:7} 3:15 "Their feet are swift to shed blood.
3:16 Destruction and misery are in their ways. 3:17 The way of peace, they haven't known."{Isaiah 59:7-8} 3:18 "There is no fear of God before their eyes."{Psalm 36:1}
Yet, God and Christ knew the condition of mankind's heart in it full ugly truth, their lack of kindness, their hatred, their unforgiveness of others, their lust, and jealousy, but still Christ came willingly, out of love for the Father to give his life for us.
Gal.5:19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness,
5:20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, 5:21 envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
This is why God is love, not just because he sent us his Son Christ Jesus, but he realized our real condition, and still loves us and gave us the life of His most precious creation his own Son Christ Jesus. We must understand what Paul understood so deeply, the truth, of all truths, what we are at our core not what we think we are, or what we project to others, than, and only than will we come to know the undeserved gift of kindness God has humbly and graciously given the world.
Titus 3:1 Remind them to be in subjection to rulers and to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work,
3:2 to speak evil of no one, not to be contentious, to be gentle, showing all humility toward all men. 3:3 For we were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
3:4 But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love toward mankind appeared, 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,
3:6 whom he poured out on us richly, through Jesus Christ our Savior; 3:7 that, being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
***Rom.5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we will be saved from God's wrath through him. 5:10 For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life.
The apostle Paul here draws a legal conclusion for the Jew's and Gentle alike. He makes three profound statements, if we were justified through the blood of Christ saving us from God's wrath, and reconciled to God while an enemies of God, that is, while yet sinners. How could God not saved us through the life of Christ?
James 4:12 Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another?
1 Timothy 4:16 Pay attention to yourself, and to your teaching. Continue in these things, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.
In other words, if God has done all this so we can have a standing before him, while enemies, and under his wrath the only conclusion we can draw is, God did all this for what purpose? To save us! We must understand as Christian's when we think in legal terms, as the Jew's were inculcated with a person will always draw a negative conclusion, why? Because in legal writing, and deductions each word counts, each phrase, how it is written and said, it is the writing, which judges us, or frees us from the charges being made against us by the legal document. First, and always when a person puts on a legal mind they are looking for the argument in their favor deluding themselves with the idea God will back their argument because we use legal arguments from God's word the bible.
Colossians 2:14 wiping out the handwriting in ordinances which was against us; and he has taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross; (torture stake, or tree)
Rom.8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.{NU omits "who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"} 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.
1Tim.1:9 as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 1:10 for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine;
However, when the apostle Paul's draws his conclusion there is only one way a Christian can accept it, by faith, it is in faith, we are freed from legal wranglings over words. If you believe God loves you, and has done all this to save us, than legalizing the wording of what God has done into a written document of doctrine, will only takes away from your belief/faith in God as good and a loving Father in saving you. Legal thinking and writing puts one into a contract with God, where they carefully say and write every word, like human do with each other, out of distrust knowing human have both good and evil in them. Where one can go to court and hold the person feet to the fire if they don't keep their word.
James 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers. 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.
One cannot impute evil to God, and commune with the Son of God, our bread of life that removed our judgment by his life. Law impute evil first, don't be fooled here, it may seem wise legally, it may seem correct, but when imputing evil first we can expect the same back according to Christ. What ever measure we measure out we get back, if God is a legal God, so goes our own self-judgment upon earth with other human beings. When Adam judge God wrong, what was the fruit he ate from for the rest of his life, not the fruit in paradise?
John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.
Romans 2:1 Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things.
Christian's often judge God wrong by their training, and/or teachings which teachings doesn't often first impute good to God, that is, love, as God has done towards us as sinners and enemies. You see, when we can't love our brothers because we are a legalistic person which points up evil and not good in each other, we do the same to our Heavenly Father Jehovah. Truth is not the evil we can see or find in each others that is not God's truth! Christ is God's truth, God gave us his life to reconcile us to Himself to save us from the wrath of his judgment.
James 5:9 Don't grumble, brothers, against one another, so that you won't be judged. Behold, the judge stands at the door.
1 John 4:11 Beloved, if God loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.

***Rom.5:12 Therefore, as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin; and so death passed to all men, because all sinned. 5:13 For until the law, sin was in the world; but sin is not charged when there is no law.
Shocking to most Christian's for lack of knowledge regarding law that sin is not sin unless the law charges it as wrong doing, than convicts it as wrong doing, and sentence the person with a penalty for the sin, and/or as a wrong doer!
1 Corinthians 15:56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
Yes, power of sin is the law and the sting of sin is death, but why does Paul bring up such a complicated subject? Simple, Christ freed Christian's from the power of sin, which was the law, what? Christ fulfilled the law, completing what none of us could do. The power of the sin is the law, but Christ had no sin, than the law must reward Christ with the reward of keeping God's law without sin, and what was that?
1 John 5:18 We know that whoever is born of God doesn't sin, but he who was born of God keeps himself, and the evil one doesn't touch him.
1 Peter 1:19 but with precious blood, as of a faultless and pure lamb, the blood of Christ;
Life, not life on earth under Adams sin, but rather eternal life with God in paradise. Many have it wrong thinking Christ struggled with all his strength not to sin, no! Christ did not fight not to sin, he was made in likeness of sinful mankind so he could take our sins away. He did not desire to sin, his every desire was righteous without evil, his every desire was to love his Father and do his will, sin did not enter into Christ, like lusting in his heart for a woman committing adultery. Our sins were put upon him, Christ became our scape goat, he seemed cursed of God, and crushed of God, but not for his sins, Christ did not sin, he rather paid the price for our sins, once for all times.
Romans 8:3 For what the law couldn't do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh.
1 Peter 2:23 Who, when he was cursed, didn't curse back. When he suffered, didn't threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously;
Isa.53:3 He was despised, and rejected by men; a man of suffering, and acquainted with disease. He was despised as one from whom men hide their face; and we didn't respect him. 53:4 Surely he has borne our sickness, and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted.
53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed. 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray. Everyone has turned to his own way; and Yahweh has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
What legal charges could be brought against righteous blood that did not sin, none! Proof God raised him, glorified him, making him responsible for our salvation, he is life, incorruptible life which means life within himself. Could any human do what Christ did born into sin, no! One cannot go back into the womb and be reborn not a sinner, one cannot do enough good to undue the sin they are born into. Hence, God must level the playing field so he can deal with us as son's of God, how? By our righteousness, no!
Rom.8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.{NU omits "who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"} 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death. 8:3 For what the law couldn't do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh;
Hebrews 7:26 For such a high priest was fitting for us: holy, guiltless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
1 Peter 1:23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which lives and remains forever.
By giving us a new life, not our own life, and it desires to do good, but a new life without sin. However, a righteous person must die for our sins, he must be without sin, so no law convicts us of sin. God must than by his undeserved kindness purchase our debt of sin , giving us a gift of that life freeing us from the wrath of law which convicts us of sin. If the root of the tree is holy so are its branches, but if the root of the tree is corrupt so are its fruit and branches. One must be graft into holiness, one cannot make themselves holy by external words of law. One must be given life without sin, not earn life without sin when they are a sinner.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:22 But now, being made free from sin, and having become servants of God, you have your fruit of sanctification, and the result of eternal life.
Romans 5:15 But the free gift isn't like the trespass. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God, and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many.
1 Peter 1:4 to an incorruptible and undefiled inheritance that doesn't fade away, reserved in Heaven for you.

continued:
***Rom.5:14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those whose sins weren't like Adam's disobedience, who is a foreshadowing of him who was to come.
What is the apostle Paul point here? Is he saying after the law of Moses death no longer reigned over mankind in general, that is, ruled over mankind, no! He is not, what he is saying in context to the book of Romans, when sin is not charged by the law of God its not sin, the power of sin is the law this is Paul context. Not that sin stop ruling over human at the giving of the law, it did however, start to be broke up after the law was given.
***Romans 5:13 For until the law, sin was in the world; but sin is not charged when there is no law.
In other words, sin is in the world, how by Adam's sin, Adam is put outside of the garden of Eden in to cursed soil to live and work, but symbolic the condition of Adam heart is soil rip for planting many seeds of sin. When Moses was given the power of sin, the law, those seeds of weeds sin burst into Forrest of every kind of sin being exposed and judged by the power of the law.
Romans 5:20 The law came in besides, that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace abounded more exceedingly;
Sin was not charged until the law of God given to Moses, which charged, and convicted sin laying its penalty upon every human under the law of Moses, in this case it was the Jewish faith. Hence, God himself judged what was sin and what was not, not man and his laws, but Jehovah God the King of the universe charged all mankind with sin simply by looking at the law recorded for us in his word the bible.
Romans 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? May it never be! However, I wouldn't have known sin, except through the law. For I wouldn't have known coveting, unless the law had said, "You shall not covet."{Exodus 20:17; Deuteronomy 5:21}
Romans 7:13 Did then that which is good become death to me? May it never be! But sin, that it might be shown to be sin, by working death to me through that which is good; that through the commandment sin might become exceeding sinful.
Every mouth was shut condemned and convicted of God righteous law not one person could boast in standing righteous on their own merit. God was making a bigger point, one that many of the Jews overlooked and many to day over look, and what is that? Mankind must be given grace, or undeserved kindness there is no other why out of death into salvation and eternal life. The human race has fallen into a deep dark pit with no way out. Moreover, they have been convicted and charged with a crime putting them into that pit of sin. Now it takes God to hand us the rope, not because we deserve the rope, but because of God's own goodness and kindness in helping his enemies.
Galatians 3:22 But the Scriptures imprisoned all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.
Romans 10:10 For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
***Rom.5:15 But the free gift isn't like the trespass. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God, and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many. 5:16 The gift is not as through one who sinned: for the judgment came by one to condemnation, but the free gift came of many trespasses to justification. 5:17 For if by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one; so much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ.
5:18 So then as through one trespass, all men were condemned; even so through one act of righteousness, all men were justified to life. 5:19 For as through the one man's disobedience many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one, many will be made righteous.
The power of one righteous life can be for good or bad! It is easy for us to understand that Adam sin was passed on too us, but why? Because we are flesh and blood, and people have children every day with the parents DNA. We can see with our eyes things are passed on to our children by procreation, but not so much when it comes to the gift of grace.
Heb.11:3 By faith, we understand that the universe has been framed by the word of God, so that what is seen has not been made out of things which are visible.
Rom.9:31 but Israel, following after a law of righteousness, didn't arrive at the law of righteousness. 9:32 Why? Because they didn't seek it by faith, but as it were by works of the law. They stumbled over the stumbling stone; 9:33 even as it is written, "Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and a rock of offense; and no one who believes in him will be disappointed."{Isaiah 8:14; 28:16}
We cannot see the last Adam passing on his DNA too us, Christ Jesus, but nonetheless one righteous life is a powerful thing which changes the world for good or bad. Christ life is powerful by God, he is raised up at God's right hand, he is immortal and incorruptible, he has defeated death, so he can make perfect those whom put faith in him. Christ has become our father, the one giving us his righteous sinless life, like Adam should have given us, but failed in sin.
1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
1 Corinthians 15:45 So also it is written, "The first man, Adam, became a living soul."{Genesis 2:7} The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
Hebrews 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many children to glory, to make the author of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
Hebrews 5:9 Having been made perfect, he became to all of those who obey him the author of eternal salvation.
Christ has made perfect by his perfect sinless life, but how? Christ purchased us from our debt of sin blotting out the law judgment of us. Christ did not remove us from sin in our flesh, but God accounts us as dead too our fleshly bodies in sin, how? By making us a part of Christ Jesus righteous life in heaven. Yes, we are born anew, we are given the life of Christ Jesus making us sinless in God's eyes like Adam was sinless when created perfect. We are dead in Christ Jesus life because we have accept the new and precious life of Christ Jesus the last Adam.
Hebrews 10:1 For the law, having a shadow of the good to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect those who draw near.
Hebrews 12:23 to the general assembly and assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect.
James 1:25 But he who looks into the perfect law of freedom, and continues, not being a hearer who forgets, but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does.
However, we have not been made perfect in faith, just as Adam could have simply trusted God in all things so too we must as God's children be tested in our sinful flesh, perfecting our faith so we become perfect in all things as Adam could have and Christ did prove faithful in. Adam failed the supreme test of love, faith is trust in God as love, which implies God is good in all things. Each person in Christ must become perfect as their heavenly Father is perfect in love, for when a person loves God or they walk in love, that is, the Christ because he our life, and his life loved the Father perfectly, judgment of punishment is put outside because fear of judgment – sin, is proof of a lack of love for God's goodness and promises too us.
James 3:2 For in many things we all stumble. If anyone doesn't stumble in word, the same is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body also.
When one relies upon their own righteousness as good enough they have fear of judgment because they are not walking in love, but self, and self righteousness is not good enough, However,when they walk in love, that is, Christ righteousness as substituting our own righteousness by the gift of grace we will be perfected in faith.
1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.
1 John 4:17 In this love has been made perfect among us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as he is, even so are we in this world.
1 John 4:10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice{"atoning sacrifice" is from the Greek "hilasmos," an appeasing, propitiating, or the means of appeasement or propitiation--the sacrifice that turns away God's wrath because of our sin.} for our sins.
*** Rom.5:20 The law came in besides, that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace abounded more exceedingly; 5:21 that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Thousands of years were to pass over mankind history under a great king death, before God sent life to the human race. Sin entered into our world and king death became the most powerful king on earth he ruled without mercy over every person born into this world, he refused to give up his kingship without a fight.
Hebrews 2:15 and might deliver all of them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
YHWH step in to break up the works of king death, by the law, the law would start a process whereby people could see the truth of sin, and the death it produced in every human born from Adam, But it was not the solution. In fact, some might think the law only added to the problem of death, why? Because the power of sin is the law, do you understand that statement?
1 Corinthians 15:56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
Sin gained power and strength by the law of God defining sin for us. Yes, the law condemned every human as a sinner there could be no mistake, none could say by law: “I am not a sinner, I am righteous having no sin!”
Romans 2:13 For it isn't the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be justified
Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.
No! The law proved every person a sinner falling short of the glory of God, but how did this start to break up the works of the devil, which is death? Truth exposed the lie, what lie? The lie that people are god's they have eternal life without God, this was the first lie told to Eve, and Adam went along with it, although he was not deceived. Now the law broke up this lie, it permanently killed it, defeating the lie by the truth of the law. Only a self-deceived person, or one deceived by their own importance upon earth could defy the truth of God's righteous law, all sinned, all died, all paid the wages of sin, proving mankind could not sustain life like a god, or make themselves into a god by some action upon earth. All were dependent upon the one source of life, God!
Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse: therefore choose life, that you may live, you and your seed;
Exodus 20:3 You shall have no other gods before me.
1 John 1:2 (and the life was revealed, and we have seen, and testify, and declare to you the life, the eternal life, which was with the Father, and was revealed to us);
There is no stronger witness than blood testifying that human needed forgiveness of sin. The whole law stood on innocent blood of victims. The blood of innocent life stood as a direct witness that no human was righteous, it proved beyond any lie that humans are not god's, they are not self-righteous, but must be made righteous by God. It proved human under sin our liars, more concerned about their own personal justification than being made right by God's justification through the life of innocent victim. Hence, the workings of devil were being broke up by the truth of God righteous and good law given to mankind while yet sinners!
Hebrews 2:14 Since then the children have shared in flesh and blood, he also himself in like manner partook of the same, that through death he might bring to nothing him who had the power of death, that is, the devil.
Hebrews 9:22 According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.
Hebrews 9:19 For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people.
Now the field was prepared for a great harvest after thousand's of years of cultivation and growth by the laws condemnation of sin, but for what? King grace, king life, God's innocent victim was sent to our earth so he could once for all times defeat death, setting men and woman right as not sinner by purchasing their payment of sin and death back by his righteous life. Yes, Christ exceed the righteousness of the law, by life, eternal life, he went beyond death into life, how by a precious gift of God own love, called grace, and/or unmerited kindness, undeserved kindness. No one can defeat such a powerful tool, but why?
John 4:35 Don't you say, 'There are yet four months until the harvest?' Behold, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and look at the fields, that they are white for harvest already.
John 4:38 I sent you to reap that for which you haven't labored. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labor."
John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses. Grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
No human on earth can say: “ I have by my own goodness, my own merit gained me eternal life like God!” No! Unlike the lie of Satan no one can gain the gift of unmerited kindness of God by self-goodness, like a god, or self-righteousness/self-merit.
Galatians 2:16 yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.
Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.
Death was soundly defeated, once for all time the harvest of life was great as God pour out upon mankind the power of eternal life through the resurrect Jesus Christ. Yes, not a life of death from Adam, but an eternal life of the last Adam without sin indwelling his earthly children freely by a gift that cannot be stolen, purchase, or gotten by self-works. None could boast in man at all, none could boast in the wisdom of this world, none could boast in a religion, or even self.
1 Corinthians 1:29 that no flesh should boast before God.
2 Timothy 1:10 but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who abolished death, and brought life and immortality to light through the Good News.
John 6:47 Most certainly, I tell you, he who believes in me has eternal life.
Each person must be done with the lie of their own god-ship, killing it into the new life of king life, allowing God to give us life through his own appointed King Christ Jesus the Son of God. No longer does death rule through lesser human gods, no longer does Adam sin control like a king over mankind, no longer does the lie of god-ship deceive those loving the truth.
John 8:32 You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."{Psalm 119:45}
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Romans 1:25 who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

The book of Roman's Chapter Five
Rom.5:1 Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; 5:2 through whom we also have our access by faith into this grace in which we stand. We rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Justified by faith we have peace with God through Christ Jesus, such talk is powerful legal requirements of contractual law. To be justified, one must have the law vindicate us, to have peace with God one cannot be at odds with God, and his laws. So what makes one at odds with God putting them under his wrath? Our not being justified of our sins! However, the apostle Paul does not leave it here, why? Because one cannot be legally justified with God without putting faith in his promises too us. In other words, if God is but legal, a King, and all he wants is perfunctory obedience to laws Israel would not have been rejected for lacking faith. But did the law vindicate sinners or was it the blood?
Rom.10:3 For being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn't subject themselves to the righteousness of God. 10:4 For Christ is the fulfillment{or, completion, or end} of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
Hebrews 3:11 as I swore in my wrath, 'They will not enter into my rest.'"{Psalm 95:7-11}
1 John 2:2 And he is the atoning sacrifice{"atoning sacrifice" is from the Greek "hilasmos," an appeasing, propitiating, or the means of appeasement or propitiation--the sacrifice that turns away God's wrath because of our sin.} for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.
No! We stand by God's grace, it is faith, and/or our trust in God as love that we come to God's grace and worship in Spirit and truth, by undeserved kindness not of ourselves, but of God grand and wondrous goodness towards those loving him. God provides the cost of our sins, in Christ Jesus, he purchase us by redeeming us through a cost none of us could pay being all are sinners. This is what the law proved and it was as far as the law could go proving we all sins, needing peace with God. The peace of the law came by way of innocent blood being shed for sins, which caused God's wrath against sinner of his law to be removed through purchase of their debt of sin by the innocent life of another, that is, temporarily from year to year from innocent animal blood.
Levitius 3:1 "'If his offering is a sacrifice of peace offerings; if he offers it from the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before Yahweh.
Ephesians 2:15 having abolished in the flesh the hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace;
The Jews lack faith because most of them got into paying debt for their sins by doing works for God, and fellowman, missing the cost to God provided from his great mercy or kindness for their sins. Which life was given them freely an animal to redeem them from their sins. This act was undeserved, in that an innocent life had to paid for their sins. God allowed this because all humans are sinners needing His help to stand at peace with him by the life of another innocent victim!
Hebrews 13:20 Now may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, our Lord Jesus,
Hebrews 9:22 According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.
Now the apostle Paul helps Christian's understand the foundation stone of their faith that most of Israel missed, which is. The law was not about Israel righteousness, it was about God righteousness that could not be meant by Israel as sinners, it was about God's kindness towards his people and his great mercy. Christian's must not try to earn their own righteousness by merit, they have no merit as a sinner just like Israel. Moreover, their merit was found in the blood of Christ. God paid for their lives giving them merit of a perfect life without sin and innocent victim once for all times so they could stand before God YHWH. So peace comes through God grace, not our earning merit by works of law, but in believing/faith in God grace that we are bought and paid for in the blood of Christ.
Hebrews 13:20 Now may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, our Lord Jesus.
John 1:16 From his fullness we all received grace upon grace.
John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses. Grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
Romans 4:4 Now to him who works, the reward is not counted as grace, but as debt.
Rom.5:3 Not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance; 5:4 and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope:
When a person is indwelt with the life of Christ Jesus they have an endless supply of oil, an oil fire that will not be put out by man or anything in heaven, but how does one come to this hope? How does one learn of this endless source of love and encouragement, is it from their own self-will?
1 John 4:9 By this God's love was revealed in us, that God has sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
1 Peter 4:6 For to this end the Good News was preached even to the dead, that they might be judged indeed as men in the flesh, but live as to God in the spirit.
James 4:15 For you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that."
What character are Christian's building, is it the character of the old flesh, or is it a new character of Christ personality? Although, this might seem like and obvious question a basic teaching of Christ its not for some, and they fail, some into the ship wreck of their faith thinking its about them, that is, the man put to death in the flesh, and not the new man being created from God's will.
Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.
Suffering in the flesh, is part and partial of being in Christ, one cannot be in the unrighteous flesh, which wars against the Spirit of God in the same vessel and not suffer. The flesh gets it backwards using it own will thinking the longer it hangs on it builds perseverance like all sports and military uses in their training of the flesh. But the apostles Paul states the facts of a new creation it is the suffering in the flesh first that builds the perseverance in the spirit person. The spirit person is being taught how to put faith and walk in Spirit and not the will of the flesh. The fleshly person is building up the power of the flesh in its sufferings.
Romans 8:13 For if you live after the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
Many have had great disappointment when the house of flesh collapse into the destruction of their faith. They have used harsh treatment of their flesh in meeting rules and time tables of their religion only to implode into mental and emotional break down burning out leaving them with hardly any spirituality. Confused and dazes they can't understand how all their efforts have been shaken away?
Hebrews 12:27 This phrase, "Yet once more," signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that have been made, that those things which are not shaken may remain. 12:28 Therefore, receiving a Kingdom that can't be shaken, let us have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe,
But those indwelt with the Christ, having the Spirit of God find miraculous recovery from death into life, they find an endless source of power teaching them not to rely upon what is dead in God's eyes the sinful flesh. They are having the very character of Christ formed in them, by Holy Spirit for the life of Christ is spirit, not of the flesh. The same Spirit gives them the fruit of Holy Spirit one being hope and another faith. They are learning to walk in Spirit and truth following the direction of their head. Nothing of this world can build such a temple of holiness, but God's own hands. Our Father Jehovah will not share his glory with religion, for he is a jealous God!
Isa.40:26 Lift up your eyes on high, and see who has created these, who brings out their army by number. He calls them all by name. by the greatness of his might, and because he is strong in power, Not one is lacking. 40:27 Why do you say, Jacob, and speak, Israel, "My way is hidden from Yahweh, and the justice due me is disregarded by my God?" 40:28 Haven't you known? Haven't you heard? The everlasting God, Yahweh, The Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn't faint. He isn't weary. His understanding is unsearchable.
40:29 He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. 40:30 Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall; 40:31 But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.
Rom.5:5 and hope doesn't disappoint us, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Hope that doesn't disappoint us, what? So many throughout the history of Christianity have been sorely disappointed by Christian's and their religion's. What hope is the apostle Paul alluding too here? The Jews had their hope disappointed in they murdering the Christ and God's prophets, so how does our hope not disappoint us? How can we not be disappointed into a false hope that misleads us into the destruction of our faith?
1 Peter 1:21 who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead, and gave him glory; so that your faith and hope might be in God.
Sadly education can be both good and bad, a person can be educated to a certain standard, and they refuse to accept any other explanation changing their standard. Hence, when trials comes upon them as it does all humans they are so inflexible they will not accept they may be putting their hope into the wrong standard created by their education. The apostle Peter found this to be true in his own case, being a devout Jew he would not eat certain unclean foods the law prohibited. Christ told him: “stop calling unclean what I call clean.” Religious education is very powerful because it deals with our eternal life, it is the very fiber of our souls. However, God may speak to us, leading us gently by Holy Spirit, but we cannot accept it, its not our religious understanding. We crash and burn and blame God and man for our loss of hope.
Acts.11:5 "I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision: a certain container descending, like it was a great sheet let down from heaven by four corners. It came as far as me.
11:6 When I had looked intently at it, I considered, and saw the four-footed animals of the earth, wild animals, creeping things, and birds of the sky. 11:7 I also heard a voice saying to me, 'Rise, Peter, kill and eat!' 11:8 But I said, 'Not so, Lord, for nothing unholy or unclean has ever entered into my mouth.' 11:9 But a voice answered me the second time out of heaven, 'What God has cleansed, don't you call unclean.' 11:10 This was done three times, and all were drawn up again into heaven.
However, the apostle Paul here speaks of something that cannot fail us, and this is important because in our life at some point everything will fail us, but one thing, and that is God's love! Did you notice its not our love or human love, or a religion's love, it is God's love Paul speaks to that will not lead to disappointment. This is the hope poured out richly into each one of God's children hearts. It not an legal argument, its not about a certain sin we do, or others have done, it not about how much we know of God's word. What it is, is coming to know how much God love us, and will not fail us in our failures. This love from God is not predicated upon our good works, our education, what religion we are in. It is a love from above that comes down to us faithfully and everlastingly and will not leave us. We at times leave it by our fleshly mind set upon standards we call clean and unclean refusing the truth, what truth? The truth bearing witness in our hearts, the love of Christ that is a constant reminder of God's faithfulness, not ours, not a religion, not a persons, but why must it be so extreme where we rely only on God love?
1 John 5:6 This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.
Rom. 1:21 Because, knowing God, they didn't glorify him as God, neither gave thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 1:23 and traded the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, and four-footed animals, and creeping things.
Actually its not, God is not saying we should not love each other, that we should distrust each other that we cannot be loved by humans, he saying priority, if you love God first all other hopes that disappoint will not leave you devastated. It not a person fault they cannot love us like God's loves us, it not even a religion's fault it can't give us the love of God. We all fall short of the glory of God, because we are not god's we must have God's love first, which gives us life into eternity, without God's love there is no everlasting life, we were created too live in God's love. It is his love that we share with each other as part of him. Nothing can be taken away from love, nothing can make God's love a disappointment, God's love is life and it adds to everything it touches.
1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. He who doesn't love his brother remains in death.
1 John 3:1 Behold, how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn't know us, because it didn't know him.
Hope can only abound in God's love it is impossible to be disappointed in God's love, if one will seek this they will find life, life in abundance that will not lead to disappointment.
Romans 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit.
1 Corinthians 13:13 But now faith, hope, and love remain--these three. The greatest of these is love.
