Manna From God

God gave Israel manna in the wilderness, for those having faith in YHWH there can be no doubt about it, manna was miraculous, a miracle from God.

Exodus 16:3 and the children of Israel said to them, "We wish that we had died by the hand of Yahweh in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the meat pots, when we ate our fill of bread, for you have brought us out into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger." 16:4 Then said Yahweh to Moses, "Behold, I will rain bread from the sky for you, and the people shall go out and gather a day's portion every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in my law, or not.

In other words, an act of God that defies all human rules of law, and laws of nature, not explainable by human logic. The idea of having bread, manna given to people in a desert where food could not be found, and not a few people, but perhaps millions! So this miracle was powerful with an everlasting purpose for them, and us that God is not our equal, he is the majestic King, and life, all life, depends upon him as our creator King.

Isa.40:6 The voice of one saying, "Cry!" One said, "What shall I cry?" "All flesh is like grass, and all its glory is like the flower of the field.
40:7 The grass withers, the flower fades, because Yahweh's breath blows on it. Surely the people are like grass. 40:8 The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God stands forever."

Isaiah 46:5 To whom will you liken me, and make me equal, and compare me, that we may be like?

Israel as a nation would have perish in the wilderness if God did not provide food from heaven. All that man thought in greatness from Moses to the law, and priesthood was allowed because God feed each person in Israel manna from heaven. Not one Israelite could make manna, or provide manna for another, or explain how manna was found each day anew for life sustaining worship of God. Not one person in Israel could say: “My good works saved myself!” No! Not one person in Israel could say: “I am righteous deserving of manna!” Not one person could imagine that because of some gift of talent that they deserved manna, there was no doubt about it, if you wanted life and salvation, it was depended not up man, but God, God alone.

Isa.40:17 All the nations are like nothing before him. They are regarded by him as less than nothing, and vanity. 40:18 To whom then will you liken God? Or what likeness will you compare to him?

Man Does Not Live by Bread Alone

Why did God give Israel manna? It was to humble them, teaching them that self-survival, self-goodness had not saved them as God's people. God was their glory, God was their savior, and he will not share his glory with man. God does not compete with man for glory or wrangle with them to prove Himself right. God does not seek glory by such unrighteous thinking. God is King from forever to forever, he need not beg, bark, or fight for attention, or worship, he demand complete obedience because he is God, he is truth. He accept nothing less than pure worship from ones heart, mind, and soul.

Exodus 34:14 for you shall worship no other god: for Yahweh, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.

1 Chronicles 16:29 Ascribe to Yahweh the glory due to his name. Bring an offering, and come before him. Worship Yahweh in holy array.

Matthew 15:9 And in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrine rules made by men.'"{Isaiah 29:13}

Matthew 4:10 Then Jesus said to him, "Get behind me,{TR and NU read "Go away" instead of "Get behind me"} Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve him only.'"{Deuteronomy 6:13}

Redeeming Israel

The nation of Israel was purchase by God, for pure worship of God's own name to a witness to the nations. Israel did not redeem itself by good works, or by pure motive, or greatness, no! It was God's greatness, it was God's good and righteous motives, and works that redeemed Israel from false worship into pure unadulterated worship by paying the price through blood pour out upon his altar of mercy that made Israel into a people for God's name. Israel would learn the eternal everlasting truth that man does not live on bread alone sustaining this life, but one ever word from God Jehovah's mouth does he live.

Jer.17:5 Thus says Yahweh: Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from Yahweh.
17:6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good comes, but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, a salt land and not inhabited. 17:7 Blessed is the man who trusts in Yahweh, and whose trust Yahweh is. 17:8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, who spreads out its roots by the river, and shall not fear when heat comes, but its leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it? 17:10 I, Yahweh, search the mind, I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.

Deuteronomy 8:3 He humbled you, and allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna, which you didn't know, neither did your fathers know; that he might make you know that man does not live by bread only, but by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of Yahweh does man live.

The very message Adam and Eve both failed to live up to, but descended into corruption and death, spreading every vile evil deed ever done on earth, laid at their feet of sin from their unrighteous fault thinking! They could not save themselves, they had not made themselves, they had not placed themselves into the paradise garden, they hadn't even educated themselves. They were a creation of a creator and their life were total depended upon Him!

Luke 4:3 The devil said to him, "If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread." Jesus answered him, saying, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.'"{Deuteronomy 8:3}

Humility should be the crown glory of all human, but such is not the truth of mankind thinking or actions.

Proverbs 16:5 Everyone who is proud in heart is an abomination to Yahweh: they shall certainly not be unpunished.

Compromising Truth

It is an easy thing for sinners to condone and compromise truth, but when all things created are depended upon truth (bread of life), when compromising it brings lost for mankind, than mankind must be redeemed at cost too God, or they will die in their sin, that is, which sin is their faulty thinking they believe was harmless. Sin cost us the truth of God. Truth at Adam's time was not depended not upon written doctrine from our a bibles, but instead his communion with God the Spirit in Spirit and truth , which is the pure unadulterated truth, where no lie in exist, not one small speck of untruth, but pure, unadulterated light and life. For this was Adam and Eve life being feeding the bread of life by God's, holy, holy, holy Spirit.

Isaiah 6:3 One called to another, and said, "Holy, holy, holy, is Yahweh of Armies! The whole earth is full of his glory!"

Isaiah 30:15 For thus said the Lord Yahweh, the Holy One of Israel, "You will be saved in returning and rest. Your strength will be in quietness and in confidence." You refused.

Adam and Eve were depended upon God, in every way, not one place of their life on earth was sustained by self-goodness, self-righteousness, or self-survival, they must remind humble to stay in the truth of God, but they failed to be humble, how by not obeying the truth. Eve went out of the truth, what truth, the Spirit of God, communing with her husband, she feed on her own head as one flesh with him. Her everlasting life was depended upon communing in truth with her head, or she would die in sin, her everlasting life would come to an end, if she compromise truth, for a lie.

Eph.5:8 For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light, 5:9 for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth, 5:10 proving what is well pleasing to the Lord. 5:11 Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them.

Eph. 5:22 Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body.
5:24 But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; 5:26 that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, 5:27 that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Humility is Truth

For human's and spirit son's of God's angels humility is what keeps them in the truth, that is, God who is truth, Sin cuts human off from truth, why, because sin is a lie that perverts truth, it corrupts thinking of man, so man can seeks his own will, and not the will of God. Sin justifies untruth as an excuse to cover up faults and pride, none of which is in God, or the truth.

Proverbs 11:2 When pride comes, then comes shame, but with humility comes wisdom.

Proverbs 13:10 Pride only breeds quarrels, but with ones who take advice is wisdom.

So God humble Israel, none were exempted from being humbled in their flesh, what? Yes, it is our flesh humbling that corrects our spirit, why? Because it is our flesh under sin that distorts truth of God's Spirit. The Spirit of God does not consort with sinful flesh, no! God does not condones sin, not even a speck of sin, he instead redeems us from sin, but never does he allow the injustice of sin to go on dealt with by faulty reasoning of human thinking. Human thinking is against truth, it is what caused sin to enter into the world, Israel had to learn life came from God's mouth, and not their own mouth from an unrighteous heart sold into sin and darkness.

Romans 3:14 "Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness."{Psalm 10:7}

However, men speak many words, claiming them to be from God's mouth, as Israel offend did only to incur God's wrath and jealousy for laying evil at his feet. The speaking of many words is a lack of humility, a mixing of sin into truth to make a yeast pie that taste good to the flesh mouth, but it is not God's manna, or food of life as truth is.

Matt.15:7 You hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,
15:8 'These people draw near to me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 15:9 And in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrine rules made by men.'"{Isaiah 29:13} 15:10 He summoned the multitude, and said to them, "Hear, and understand. 15:11 That which enters into the mouth doesn't defile the man; but that which proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man." 15:12 Then the disciples came, and said to him, "Do you know that the Pharisees were offended, when they heard this saying?" 15:13 But he answered, "Every plant which my heavenly Father didn't plant will be uprooted.

The Humility of God's Unleavened Bread

Christ never spoke an untruth, why? Because he spoke only what the Father told him to speak the food of eternal life, truth, this is why Christ is the unadulterated Word of God, Christian's must feed on if they are to have his life indwelling them. Christ did not add to God's words, with personal thoughts, he did not challenge them, or test them to see if they were correct, no! He obey them as coming from God as life, knowing what few men know today that there is no life other than God's words.

Deuteronomy 32:1 Give ear, you heavens, and I will speak. Let the earth hear the words of my mouth.

Ecclesiastes 10:14 A fool also multiplies words. Man doesn't know what will be; and that which will be after him, who can tell him?

Ecclesiastes 6:11 For there are many words that create vanity. What does that profit man?

Proverbs 30:6 Don't you add to his words, lest he reprove you, and you be found a liar.

Christ than is our humility, we put on Christ, by his life indwelling us, so we have our heads humility as Eve would have has Adam's humility by obeying the truth.

Psalms 119:160 All of your words are truth. Every one of your righteous ordinances endures forever.

John 6:63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

Eve was not separated from her heads life because Adam had strong opinions, no! She was not turned away to Satan by strong opinion because she lived in perfect truth, and humility of her head, if she stayed in her husband headship she was loved and cherished. One opinion was the same as the others, they were not two, but one person with one mouth speaking truth, through one head, Adam's in God's eyes.

Mark 10:5 But Jesus said to them, "For your hardness of heart, he wrote you this commandment. 10:6 But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female.{Genesis 1:27}
10:7 For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will join to his wife, 10:8 and the two will become one flesh,{Genesis 2:24} so that they are no longer two, but one flesh.
10:9 What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."

Eph.5:29 For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly; 5:30 because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones. 5:31 "For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh."{Genesis 2:24} 5:32 This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly. 5:33 Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

Christ Perfect Headship

Christ great humility kept him in truth, he never had his own opinion outside of God's truth, he spoke through his heads one mouth never stretching the truth to look good or glorify himself as a man in the sinful flesh upon earth do. Christ got it, something Adam failed to stay in, humility of God's truth, Christ proved perfect in humility, which is the medium that gives life to all truth of God. Pride, and boastfulness is the medium for those walking in the flesh putting their own words above God's.

Matthew 21:5 "Tell the daughter of Zion, behold, your King comes to you, humble, and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey."{Zechariah 9:9}

Philippians 2:3 doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself;

Colossians 3:12 Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance;

James 1:21 Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls{or, preserve your life.}.

Christ never said: I have good motives, trust me, or did he say, 'I have a good heart that loves God!'” Why? Because Christ was obedient to the truth, and truth was that hadn't been yet proven, so instead Christ said, what Adam should of said to Eve when she ask him to go along with her wicked reasoning: “Why do you call me good, one is good, God!”

Matthew 19:17 He said to him, "Why do you call me good? No one is good but one, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments."

Matthew 4:4 But he answered, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.'"{Deuteronomy 8:3}

Only one is the life giver, only one is incorruptible, no one can say their motives are perfect life, not one angel or human can say: “I am that good, I am that perfect so my motives and heart are always speaking the truth so I am good!”

Adam should have said: “How can I live by words of my mouth, they are not truth, they cannot sustain eternal life, why Eve, would you ask me to take God's position as good?”

So yes, humility is what Christ is, and humility is what all human lack in modesty of their own position upon this earth.

James 3:5 So the tongue is also a little member, and boasts great things. See how a small fire can spread to a large forest! 3:6 And the tongue is a fire. The world of iniquity among our members is the tongue, which defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature, and is set on fire by Gehenna.{or, Hell} 3:7 For every kind of animal, bird, creeping thing, and thing in the sea, is tamed, and has been tamed by mankind. 3:8 But nobody can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. 3:9 With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who are made in the image of God. 3:10 Out of the same mouth comes forth blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. 3:11 Does a spring send out from the same opening fresh and bitter water?

God Humbles His Children

Are we to believe as God's children given the very life of Christ Jesus that the act of manna given to the Israelite's is a greater miracle than feeding on Christ the unleavened bread of life? Manna as great as it was for proving man must not depend upon himself, or his own will, or righteousness, pales into a shadow of mundane things when compared to the glory given Christ was given by our Father Jehovah.

Exodus 24:17 The appearance of the glory of Yahweh was like devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel.

2Cor.3:7 But if the service of death, written engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the children of Israel could not look steadfastly on the face of Moses for the glory of his face; which was passing away: 3:8 won't service of the Spirit be with much more glory? 3:9 For if the service of condemnation has glory, the service of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.
3:10 For most certainly that which has been made glorious has not been made glorious in this respect, by reason of the glory that surpasses. 3:11 For if that which passes away was with glory, much more that which remains is in glory. 3:12 Having therefore such a hope, we use great boldness of speech, 3:13 and not as Moses, who put a veil on his face, that the children of Israel wouldn't look steadfastly on the end of that which was passing away. 3:14 But their minds were hardened, for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains, because in Christ it passes away. 3:15 But to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. 3:16 But whenever one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.

God let his own son suffer in his flesh to perfect his faith, a perfect son with no sin, or evil motive, Christ prove so sterling an example in humility its judged Satan and death he brought into nothingness. But what of those son's of God found in imperfect bodies of sin, do they need to stay in truth? Well, truth depends upon one thing, how important we make ourselves in our flesh?

James 4:4 You adulterers and adulteresses, don't you know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. 4:5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who lives in us yearns jealously"? 4:6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."{Proverbs 3:34} 4:7 Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 4:8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 4:9 Lament, mourn, and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to gloom. 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you. 4:11 Don't speak against one another, brothers. He who speaks against a brother and judges his brother, speaks against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge.

Humility speaks truth, not the truth of us, but truth of God's mouth spoke through Christ Jesus the Word of God our headship, and bread of life. Christ last prayer upon earth, which prayer he prayed before an agonizing death upon a torture stake was really one thing. Let God's chosen one be one as Christ was one with his Father. Now that's a mouthful when people have such strong opinions and Christian's think being bold make is truth without a thought of Christ humility.

1 Corinthians 1:28 and God chose the lowly things of the world, and the things that are despised, and the things that are not, that he might bring to nothing the things that are:

Our motives as Christian's are not purer enough to give ourselves eternal life or even the bread of life, it is not our goodness, or desires that feeds us truth. Christ did not have to learn this lesson he simply obeyed this truth, but Israel had to be humble their flesh correct their entire spirit so they walked lowliness of mind before God judging correctly by truth and not flesh they actually were sinners needing salvation by God's own goodness.

Heb.5:4 Nobody takes this honor on himself, but he is called by God, just like Aaron was. 5:5 So also Christ didn't glorify himself to be made a high priest, but it was he who said to him, "You are my Son. Today I have become your father."{Psalm 2:7} 5:6 As he says also in another place, "You are a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek."{Psalm 110:4} 5:7 He, in the days of his flesh, having offered up prayers and petitions with strong crying and tears to him who was able to save him from death, and having been heard for his godly fear.

Has any Christian's yet proven faithful do God, can they judge their conduct perfect in faith, can they says: “My goodness feeds me the bread of life?”

No such is a lack of humility it is far and wide from the truth of Christ Jesus. The truth is Christ Jesus is the bread of life, he is the last Adam, and we are under not our own headship, our own thoughts because we use the scriptures. Satan uses the scriptures, and Satan teaches the bible, but his life is not the life of Christ, nor does the truth of Christ Jesus life feed him into eternal life by communion of Spirit and truth.

1Cor.10:1 Now I would not have you ignorant, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 10:2 and were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 10:3 and all ate the same spiritual food; 10:4 and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of a spiritual rock that followed them, and the rock was Christ. 10:5 However with most of them, God was not well pleased, for they were overthrown in the wilderness. 10:6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. 10:7 Neither be idolaters, as some of them were. As it is written, "The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play."{Exodus 32:6} 10:8 Neither let us commit sexual immorality, as some of them committed, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell. 10:9 Neither let us test the Lord, as some of them tested, and perished by the serpents. 10:10 Neither grumble, as some of them also grumbled, and perished by the destroyer. 10:11 Now all these things happened to them by way of example, and they were written for our admonition, on whom the ends of the ages have come. 10:12 Therefore let him who thinks he stands be careful that he doesn't fall.

When the son's of God lack humility in following the truth they cannot hear the Spirit speaking to the congregation of God, why? Because self-motives blinds them on hearing direction from our head, their personal opinion divides them from the unity of the body of Christ speaking as one mouth just as Eve did to Adam, losing the Spirit of God.

Will God let his son's remain in a lack of humility, no! God has chosen them and he takes full responsibility for correcting them, how? Just as he did the nation of Israel, by letting them eat their own fruitage from their flesh thoughts. For forty years God humbled Israel, and as long as God's son are found in the flesh, they are not independent contractors, they are under one leader, one head, and he will correct them even with a rod in their flesh, so they don't fall into the judgment of this world.

1Cor.11:16 But if any man seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither do God's assemblies. 11:17 But in giving you this command, I don't praise you, that you come together not for the better but for the worse. 11:18 For first of all, when you come together in the assembly, I hear that divisions exist among you, and I partly believe it. 11:19 For there also must be factions among you, that those who are approved may be revealed among you.
11:20 When therefore you assemble yourselves together, it is not the Lord's supper that you eat. 11:21 For in your eating each one takes his own supper first. One is hungry, and another is drunken. 11:22 What, don't you have houses to eat and to drink in? Or do you despise God's assembly, and put them to shame who don't have? What shall I tell you? Shall I praise you? In this I don't praise you. 11:23 For I received from the Lord that which also I delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night in which he was betrayed took bread. 11:24 When he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "Take, eat. This is my body, which is broken for you. Do this in memory of me." 11:25 In the same way he also took the cup, after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink, in memory of me." 11:26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes. 11:27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks the Lord's cup in a manner unworthy of the Lord will be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord. 11:28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of the cup. 11:29 For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, if he doesn't discern the Lord's body. 11:30 For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and not a few sleep. 11:31 For if we discerned ourselves, we wouldn't be judged. 11:32 But when we are judged, we are punished by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.

Without the putting to death of the flesh, and it's unrighteous motives truth cannot be heard by God's son's. God will not compromise truth, for a fling in our flesh, God never condone sin, he kills it by atoning for its, and letting us be humbled into the death of our flesh so we might feed on the unadulterated food of life Christ Jesus our truth and humility.

1 Corinthians 5:6 Your boasting is not good. Don't you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?

1 Corinthians 5:7 Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.

1 Corinthians 5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old yeast, neither with the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Galatians 5:9 A little yeast grows through the whole lump.

When God's son find they are dead to God's Spirit with no way out, our Father steps in with love, resurrecting them raising them into Christ where they find sweet association in Christ our Spirit and truth, Refreshed, corrected, they move on into the next thing Christ want to conquer in them, which is always a sinful thoughts from the death of the independent thinking from the mind of flesh, which is common to all men.

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

In this manner all things will be brought under Christ Kingship where bring to nothing all things causing death from the mind of flesh. Here than the temple of Christ is built by suffering from the unrighteous thoughts of sin, which fruitage robs us of the mind and Spirit of God until we conquer such flesh thoughts in Christ, that is, through the body of Christ.

Rom.8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;

Rom.8:36 Even as it is written, "For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter."{Psalm 44:22}
8:37 No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 8:39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Humility is seeing ourselves in relation to the truth, Christ, is the oneness the world can never know. It is the oneness that brings in a new heavens and earth setting it free from the corruption of sin and its futility. All truth outside of Christ which Christ is our life, is of no value because it is from the flesh which cannot be in subjection to Christ. Subsequently, making such unrighteous thinking vanity and futility.

2 Corinthians 10:5 throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.
