Sin's MERIT/WORTH

What value, merit, or worth does YHWH place on “sin”? Does our God value sin, at all? Does he think there is some value in sin? Does He think a little sin is important to us as humans?

Psalms 36:2 For he flatters himself in his own eyes, too much to detect and hate his sin.

Can you as a Christian's separate sin from merit or worth, or do you think someone is evil for saying that sin has no merit or worth to God? That we are all sinners, subsequently, you think they are speaking evil or hate speech about you personally?

Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.

Are you a mature Christian's with a sound mind? Do you understand that a mature Christian separates sin from the person spirit, as God Himself does in looking at us as worth very much in our spirit, not in our sinful flesh? Do you realize that emotions do not change our condition of sin before God? Hopefully, you do, or you are living in sin with outburst of anger from your flesh; thinking by your sinful fleshly mind that a little good exist in your sinful flesh, so you defend it at all cost causing the ruin of spiritual lives!

Proverbs 29:22 An angry man stirs up strife, and a wrathful man abounds in sin.

Ecclesiastes 5:6 Don't allow your mouth to lead you into sin. Don't protest before the messenger that this was a mistake. Why should God be angry at your voice, and destroy the work of your hands?

Ecclesiastes 7:20 Surely there is not a righteous man on earth, who does good and doesn't sin.

1 John 3:5 You know that he was revealed to take away our sins, and in him is no sin.

The Sinful Flesh Worth

Why would God kill our sinful flesh if some good exist in it? Does a little sin make no difference to God? Does God place some merit upon sin, does he say put a little sin into the unleavened bread of Christ so it taste better to our fleshly mind? Are you offended that God places no worth upon your sinful flesh or its mind, and He puts it to death in Christ?

Jude 1:23 and some save, snatching them out of the fire with fear, hating even the clothing stained by the flesh.

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

Romans 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;

Romans 8:13 For if you live after the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

Perhaps, you value your flesh over truth, or perhaps your not a born again Christian's, but you've had some experience within your flesh that lets you think you are born again? What type of experience? An emotional experience in your flesh, and not in your spirit, but your flesh making it feel special above others as good, without sin, or less sin, so when the bible speaks of nothing good dwelling in your sinful flesh, that is, of merit, it hurts your feelings, making you angry at the person or the apostle Paul?

Rom.7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good. 7:19 For the good which I desire, I don't do; but the evil which I don't desire, that I practice.

1 Corinthians 15:56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

2 Corinthians 1:9 Yes, we ourselves have had the sentence of death within ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead.

2 Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow works repentance to salvation, which brings no regret. But the sorrow of the world works death.

Gal.5:24 Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts. 5:25 If we live by the Spirit, let's also walk by the Spirit. 5:26 Let's not become conceited, provoking one another, and envying one another.

God kills our sinful flesh he impales it, he does not consort with the works of our flesh. He does however, commune with us through Christ Jesus in Spirit and truth, with our spirit. There is no truth in our sinful flesh, do you as a mature Christian's understand this fundamental truth? God is truth, Christ is truth. Truth is not truth if we speak truth some of the time, and thinking that is the truth! God's standard of truth is all of the time, and never some of time, do you understand when your bibles tell you God cannot lie that he never has lied, or changed? Do you understand speaking truth some of the time does not atone for not speaking truth all the time? This standard judges all of us in our sinful flesh by God's standards, can you stand? Do you have any merit to bring before God by his standard of not lying ever for eternity? You better hope your flesh is dead to God's judgment, and you are found under undeserved kindness?

James 1:14 But each one is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed. 1:15 Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death. 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers. 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures. 1:19 So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger;

In other words, can you as a Christians state before God and man you cannot lie? Such a statement is a lie in, and of itself, if your sinner? We all lie in action and/or speech because we are sinners, and sinners lie, sin or lying has no worth before a God whom does not lie. That is the truth of the fallen flesh, and the high value God place on truth, which is Christ Jesus for us sinner!

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Does God Love Sin?

God loves the world so much he gave us his own son life to redeem us, but does God love the world so much he places value, worth, or merit upon mankind sin? Can you as a mature Christian's separate God's love from sin. Can you with a sound mind judge yourselves in Christ, or do you think God is being unfair when he says he hates sin of your flesh which has no value in it? Do you take God's hating of unrighteousness, that is, sin, personally, and become offend at those upholding the truth of God's word by destroying their character in looking for some flaw in them to justify your own immaturity as a Christian's?

1Cor.5:4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, you being gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, 5:5 are to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
5:6 Your boasting is not good. Don't you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?

This unrighteous practice is called “moral equivalency”, looking at another person sins to justify your own unrighteous sin. This think is practiced by fleshly mind immature Christian's, and the world. Moreover, this is why every religion, business, and government always descends in to more and more corruption until it collapses from its own corruption by moral equivalency, that is, pointing the figure at the other guy!

Matt.7:1 "Don't judge, so that you won't be judged.
7:2 For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you.
7:3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye?
7:4 Or how will you tell your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye;' and behold, the beam is in your own eye?

God does not play the moral equivalency game, God does not condone sin as unrighteous men do. He does not look at one man, and let the other man off from his sins. He does not tell us to look at the sin in your brother eye so you my excuse the rafter in your own eye! No! God hates all sin equally, not sometimes, not when it effects him, or when he is having a bad day, he hates sin and does not condone sin in any person. Those with sin are dead in God eyes, he does not get down on his knees and bows before man fallen condition of man because he loves humans. No! No! No!

Romans 7:15 For I don't know what I am doing. For I don't practice what I desire to do; but what I hate, that I do.

Psalms 5:5 The arrogant shall not stand in your sight. You hate all workers of iniquity.

God puts us to death in our sinful flesh, and accounts it as nothing having no worth, no value, no merit. He washes us clean giving us merit, giving us worth, giving us life, giving us gifts, giving us his love.

Hebrews 10:22 let's draw near with a true heart in fullness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and having our body washed with pure water.

1 Corinthians 6:11 Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.

He does not say; you and I are worthy to take the throne so the twenty four elder fall on their face giving us glory and honor. No! Don't let your feeling be hurt, separate your fleshly emotions from the truth, Christ is worthy, do you really understand what that means as a mature Christian's?

Heb.1:8 But of the Son he says, "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever. The scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your Kingdom.
1:9 You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows."{Psalm 45:6-7} 1:10 And, "You, Lord, in the beginning, laid the foundation of the earth. The heavens are the works of your hands. 1:11 They will perish, but you continue. They all will grow old like a garment does. 1:12 As a mantle, you will roll them up, and they will be changed; but you are the same. Your years will not fail."{Psalm 102:25-27} 1:13 But which of the angels has he told at any time, "Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet?"{Psalm 110:1}

It means our worth does not come from our sinful flesh, our sinful flesh has no value to God, its not redeemable, we are redeem in our spirit, so our worth comes from Christ the living truth from his spirit that washes us clean from our sins. Christ is our righteousness, not our fallen flesh, which is dead to God, not our fleshly mind trapped in our body of sinful flesh, do you understand as a mature Christian we are given the mind of Christ, not our fallen fleshes mind?

Hebrews 10:16 "This is the covenant that I will make with them: 'After those days,' says the Lord, 'I will put my laws on their heart, I will also write them on their mind;'"{Jeremiah 31:33} then he says,

1 Corinthians 2:16 "For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him?"{Isaiah 40:13} But we have Christ's mind.

Do you understand as a mature Christian's all the wrangles over right and wrong, fears, hates, jealousy does not exist in Christ mind? But do you know what does exist in the mind of Christ?

James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 3:18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Do you blame God or brothers, and sisters for telling you that only peace exist in truth, and love, and kindness, while you are railing against them in God's name? Do you think such conduct is adding too Christ mind, do you think there is a little good in sin? Can a corrupt tree produce good fruit?

1 Corinthians 5:6 Your boasting is not good. Don't you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?

1 Corinthians 5:7 Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.

James 3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom.
3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth. 3:15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.

Are you offended God does not mix sinful flesh with Spirit, he does not produce both good and evil from his Holy Spirit. In other words, are you fooled into thinking your emotions and feeling from your sinful flesh are God's standards of truth? Are you double minded, some flesh, some Spirit, a little here a little there and wonder why your prayers go unanswered?

Romans 6:19 I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh, for as you presented your members as servants to uncleanness and to wickedness upon wickedness, even so now present your members as servants to righteousness for sanctification.

John 6:63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

James 1:19 So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger; 1:20 for the anger of man doesn't produce the righteousness of God. 1:21 Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls{or, preserve your life.}. 1:22 But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves.

Christ did not come to serve your emotions from your sinful flesh, to become a slave to your emotions through the unrighteous lust of your flesh from sin. Christ came to put your sin to death that you might live in him, without sin, without human justification for our sins. He freed us from being a slave to sin, he did not place worth upon sin giving it merit, he killed our sins, he removed our flesh so we cannot be judged in it anymore. He separated us from the evil that indwells all sinners, he conquered it, so we might have his righteousness through Spirit and truth.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.{NU omits "who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"}

Are human worthless? Can you as a person separated sin from a person spirit, no you can't! But you can be humble? In knowing that is why all sinner lie, because they think they can, but they can't. It takes God to separated our fallen flesh from our spirit, he has entrust Christ to do that work in us not the mouth of the sinful flesh. Subsequently, we are at God mercy, his unmerited kindness, so we might be redeem, so we can understand the things of the Spirit, so we might be made new from the sinful mind of the flesh into the spirit mind of Christ. So we might learn the truth through God Son Christ Jesus indwelling us with his worth, without sin! This is why we are loved by God having profound worth, we are everything to God because he did not spare his own son for us.

Rev.4:8 The four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within. They have no rest day and night, saying, "Holy, holy, holy{Hodges/Farstad MT reads "holy" 9 times instead of 3.} is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come!" 4:9 When the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to him who sits on the throne, to him who lives forever and ever, 4:10 the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne, and worship him who lives forever and ever, and throw their crowns before the throne, saying, 4:11 "Worthy are you, our Lord and God, the Holy One,{TR omits "and God, the Holy One,"} to receive the glory, the honor, and the power, for you created all things, and because of your desire they existed, and were created!"

Your Brother in Christ,

Daniel
