Does God Love Us?

Does God love us? Well, if you ask people a simple question, which is, are they honest? About 100 percent of them will say: “Yes I am honest!” So any truthful person who is mature, that is, has proper self-evaluation of themselves knows no person is honest all the time that is a truth of living in our sinful world, in our sinful flesh.

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;

James 3:2 For in many things we all stumble. If anyone doesn't stumble in word, the same is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body also.

Subsequently, most Christian's will say: “Yes God loves me!” Thinking inwardly that stating otherwise might stumble a person coming to know Christ, or that stating the truth: “I am not sure?”, constitutes a lack of faith that will cause them to lose eternal life.

Ephesians 6:6 not in the way of service only when eyes are on you, as men pleasers; but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;

The question that most of us fail to understand for some reason, which is? If we love truth, we know that in our hearts we are not deserving of God's love. These are feelings and thoughts we all have in common or have had. We may have done something to others that has hurt them, making us feel unworthy of God's love. Subsequently, what most of us fail to really get? We fail to understand who's love we are talking about here? Is it our love; is our love enough to gain us eternal life, or even a relationship with God?

Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.

Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.

We should understand because we are human under sin we internalize our feelings of unworthiness, and/or our worthiness equating those values and judgments as God own feelings! But are they? We should not say otherwise that we don't impute our feeling and emotion into God an Christ if we do we would be less than honest, it would be a lie! However, we must ask, is this question? Does the truth of our eternal life stand on such weak emotions? In other words, our feelings, which change from worthiness into unworthiness in just a word, are we to think this is what our salvation in Christ is based upon; such sandy soil?

Heb.12:28 Therefore, receiving a Kingdom that can't be shaken, let us have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe.

Jer.17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it? 17:10 I, Yahweh, search the mind, I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.

God's Love

Let me assure you, our love as imperfect human's no matter how real it feels too us, does not save us! God's love does, God's love is unchangeable, God's love does not vary, it is His love that saves us. In other words, we are to accept God's Kingdom which is unshakable because it is from a God of love that does not change. Man's kingdoms will all be shaken, and people will lose faith in them, because it is from man's love, and not God's love which is unchangeable, and cannot be shaken by any act of mankind's lack of love.

Deuteronomy 32:4 The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice: a God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and right is he.

There is signally no great power than God's unchangeable love, it is the only thing that will not disappoint us. We will be disappointed in ourselves, others, and people in position, will all disappoint us. In their love, we come up short, in any other love, but God's love which is unshakable love, all lesser loves cannot bring us in to eternal life.

Psalms 89:26 He will call to me, 'You are my Father, my God, and the rock of my salvation!'

Romans 9:33 even as it is written, "Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and a rock of offense; and no one who believes in him will be disappointed."{Isaiah 8:14; 28:16}

When things crash around us, we assume the worst, we self-analyze each thing we have done good or bad, believing it is our love God makes his judgment upon. This false premise leads us into a god of good luck. The god of good luck is a crap shoot, good days of worthiness positive feelings, and bad days of having lost our luck. This is our kingdom, and our rules have been shaken to the core. We find ourselves in panic, a state of fear, and confusion in not understanding why God is punishing us?

James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed.
1:7 For let that man not think that he will receive anything from the Lord. 1:8 He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Jer.17:5 Thus says Yahweh: Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from Yahweh.

But is this God's love, or our love confused with God's love?

No Fear in Love

If someone loves you, or you love someone else is there fear of rejection in their love because of some sin? That's a hard question to answer is it not? Such a question can swing both ways depending on the depth of human love and our own emotions. It can cut like a knife, or it can heal us like a good doctor pouring oil on our wounds. But it is still human love under sin, it is not God's love that does not change.

Malachi 3:6 "For I, Yahweh, don't change; therefore you, sons of Jacob, are not consumed.

Hebrews 6:18 that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to take hold of the hope set before us.

God love is based upon a foundation you or me had nothing to do with, or can control by our feelings, our thoughts, or our good days, nor bad days. God love is on a foundation that cannot be shaken, it is rock-solid and will not wash away under a flood of bad luck from the god of luck.

Titus 1:2 in hope of eternal life, which God, who can't lie, promised before time began;

God love is not based upon your worth, or my worth, or any persons worth on this earth. God love is based upon the worth of His Son Christ Jesus. God is not looking at our worth too give us the love he gave too his son Christ Jesus. God love cannot be shaken because it not based upon human emotions. It is not based upon human worth, so one day we are worthy, and the next we are not! It is based upon truth, unshakable truth of one thing, life, which is God's love for life . God's love is worthy, its never unworthy, it is always good, and it does good it never take selfishly from life.

James 1:14 But each one is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed. 1:15 Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death. 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers. 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

Giving Us God's Love

God's love is given too us, by God's unshakable love, it is not because we earned it by our love, or because someone did something for us like a parent or a religion. It is because God's love compels him to give us a gift freely. Freely, because our love falls short of the glory of God's love. Because God is love, he is motive by love as a creator of mankind to heal the breach of sin, which causes us a lack of love.

James 3:8 But nobody can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. 3:9 With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who are made in the image of God. 3:10 Out of the same mouth comes forth blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. 3:11 Does a spring send out from the same opening fresh and bitter water? 3:12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water. 3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom.

We cannot have enough love for God, so we can save ourselves by our love. What God gives us, while we are yet sinners is his free gift of love. In other words, the gift, is given before we love him back because of the gifts power.

1 John 4:19 We love Him, because he first loved us.

Unmerited Love

There can be no greater expression of love, than to give us, as God has done, His unchangeable love without our merit involved. If we could have earned God's love by performance of right and wrong Christ would not of had to give us the precious gift of his eternal life to save us. Christ had eternal life with the Father, he gave that life up to do his Father to save us.

2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.

Based upon the life of Christ, God's so loved us that he allowed Christ to die for us, purchasing our debt of sin, which sin made us unworthy of life or God's love, Christ made us worthy of God's unchangeable love. Yes, God unchangeable love is unshakable because he has the precious blood of a sinless pass-over lamb to take away our sins. Our sins are removed from him, they are blotted out of his judgment, and sight remembered no more, cast into the depth of the seas. But here is where many of us fall down?

Micah7:19 He will again have compassion on us. He will tread our iniquities under foot; and you will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

Once For All Times

Which is in understanding the priceless redemption of unmerited kindness from our Fathers love is the gift, and proof positive God loves mankind! But taken this to the extreme, we human cannot fully yet comprehend this love. The price pay (Christ life) bought us once for all times! Not for a moment, or a good day, or a bad day. God's judgment of our sinful flesh stop when we accept Christ Jesus as our savior! We are worthy because Christ gave us his precious life, forever, we have received eternal life the minute we accept the life of Christ.

Hebrews 7:27 who doesn't need, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices daily, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. For he did this once for all, when he offered up himself.

Although, we love him each day we fall short of his glory, although, we want to be like him we can't in our sinful flesh, because we know we are unworthy, and God has made us worth “IN Christ”. We no longer serve a god of good luck that tells us one day we are evil, and God hates us, and the next we are on-top of the world because luck is running our way. We serve a God of unshakable love towards us because he gave us a precious gift of his Son merit, unchangable.

Hebrews 10:10 by which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Heb. 6:1 Therefore leaving the doctrine of the first principles of Christ, let us press on to perfection--not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, of faith toward God.

Faith is Not Possessed by All

What is state herein above is truth, it is a covenant a legally binding rule of law God has set upon himself, it has nothing to do with our feelings of right or wrong. God is faithful to himself, he cannot deny himself it is impossible for him to do so, because he is incorruptible, not able to corrupt his love, by human reasoning's.

Heb.:16 For men indeed swear by a greater one, and in every dispute of theirs the oath is final for confirmation.
6:17 In this way God, being determined to show more abundantly to the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, interposed with an oath;
6:18 that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to take hold of the hope set before us.
6:19 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and entering into that which is within the veil;
6:20 where as a forerunner Jesus entered for us, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.

No matter what we are told or what our circumstance are, in feelings, judgments of others, God's love cannot fail us, or will he leaves us. God's love is not based upon you! It is based upon the life of his Son Christ Jesus whom he cannot deny.

2 Timothy 2:13 If we are faithless, he remains faithful. He can't deny himself."

This is proof of God's love, which is our faith in the above statements, not faith in ourselves that we are worthy or good, but faith in the Son of God that he is worthy and good, and has given us life by redeeming us! This faith not all men have, but why?

John 5:24 "Most certainly I tell you, he who hears my word, and believes him who sent me, has eternal life, and doesn't come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

Spirit Faith

Because it is a gift from God, and it is the proof in you that God loves you. In other words, if you have faith in God's love, his unmerited kindness, it is because God loves you and has given you the faith to believe it!

Gal.5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,{or, faithfulness} 5:23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Rom.12:3 For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.
Our faith will give out, but not God's gift of faith, we will feel like we are worthless because of lack of faith, but when God gives us faith we will stand back up although we fail seven times a day.

Proverbs 24:16 for a righteous man falls seven times, and rises up again; but the wicked are overthrown by calamity.

Isa.40:5 The glory of Yahweh shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of Yahweh has spoken it."
40:6 The voice of one saying, "Cry!" One said, "What shall I cry?" "All flesh is like grass, and all its glory is like the flower of the field.

Isa.40:28 Haven't you known? Haven't you heard? The everlasting God, Yahweh, The Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn't faint. He isn't weary. His understanding is unsearchable. 40:29 He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. 40:30 Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall; 40:31 But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.

Where Real Faith Comes From

All life, love, and faith come from above, from the Spirit which is life. It is the power of Holy Spirit that gives us hope, faith, and love, love being the greatest. This is proof of God's love for us that he will strengthen our faith by his love found in his Son Christ Jesus.

James 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed. 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
3:18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

We are tested in every respects like Christ was in his flesh upon earth, but real life comes into us from above, not from below from our own will, and/or ourselves. When we come to know this truth, we have judged ourselves correctly. We know our own faults, but we must come to know God's unfailing, unshakable love.

Colossians 3:2 Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth.

Ephesians 4:10 He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.

Ephesians 3:20 Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

John 3:31 He who comes from above is above all. He who is from the Earth belongs to the Earth, and speaks of the Earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.

John 8:23 He said to them, "You are from beneath. I am from above. You are of this world. I am not of this world.

This contest is indeed great, we condemn others, we condemn ourselves, but God is faithful he is in none of it? Why do we judge? Because we lack faith in God's love. We have fears God is ever changing as we ourselves are, or others that are in our religion. We feel shaken at times to the bone, we feel we have received death in us, by judgment and the fear that comes with it. But we are still in God's love despite our worst fears, why?

Rom. 8:33 Who could bring a charge against God's chosen ones? It is God who justifies. 8:34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 8:36 Even as it is written, "For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter."{Psalm 44:22} 8:37 No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
8:39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God Not in Our Flesh!

The reason we feel these fears is because God is not in our flesh at all! God is not basing his judgment upon our flesh, or its good works, and bad ones. God is in our spirit, but we are in our flesh that has killed the Spirit of God in us. In these times our flesh controls are thoughts and heart, so we have no faith, because faith is part of God's Spirit given too us as gift of God's love.

James 4:5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who lives in us yearns jealously"? 4:6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."{Proverbs 3:34} 4:7 Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 4:8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Now like a sheep we are lead to the slaughter, every fear of our flesh has judged us like a human does, or an evil god of luck, we are hopeless, with no way out, we are dead to God's love. Does God's love fail in these times, do we like the Christ yell out: “My God! My God! why have you forsaken me?”

Mark 15:34 At the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?" which is, being interpreted, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"{Psalm 22:1}

Yes, we do, but love conquers all things, God's love is not dead, it is not judged by human flesh under sin. God's love will not fail because we are judged in our flesh which is dead to the Spirit of God. However God has given us his word, he is not accounting our flesh against, he has once for all times put its sin too death into the depth of the sea to be remember no more. It is our fleshly mind that has trick us!

Revelation 2:7 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of my God.

James 1:12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love him. 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God," for God can't be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one. 1:14 But each one is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed.

1 John 5:18 We know that whoever is born of God doesn't sin, but he who was born of God keeps himself, and the evil one doesn't touch him.

Now our Father gives us His love, He comforts us with His Holy Spirit resurrecting us from death of the flesh and its death dealing thoughts. We now have faith, the gift of faith, we now have love, and light, hope, and comfort we are saved in God's love. Nothing in heaven or upon earth can separated us from God everlasting love, God cannot die, he is not a man, he is immortal, incorruptible, and he is love which cannot fail us despite our worst fears of our fallen flesh. Let us remember it is dead, God has not resurrected it to judge us again, we have by our flesh mind that judged ourselves unrighteously!

Rom.8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.{NU omits "who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"} 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

We come to understand this by processing the love of God, which will set creation free from the corruption of the fleshly mind. We are being perfected in trusting God, that is, putting faith in God while we are found both in life and in death, we are perfected when we know God cannot fail us because of his love.

2 Corinthians 13:4 For he was crucified through weakness, yet he lives through the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we will live with him through the power of God toward you.

2 Corinthians 12:9 He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.

2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves.

Does God love us? Yes, he does more than ourselves, he loves us beyond what any eye has ever seen, or what he will yet show us in eternal life with him. God is greater than our hearts, God is greater than our minds, God is greater than any personal judgment we have of ourselves or by others.

1 John 3:20 because if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.

1 John 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.

1 John 5:9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is God's testimony which he has testified concerning his Son.

There is no fear in God's love, there is fear in our love that changes like shadows on ground under a tree as the Sun passes overhead, but not God's unshakable love, which has no variation of a shadow. Despite the roaring of the sea of our wicked flesh, Christ does clam it with a word, be still! Be at peace.

2 Thessalonians 3:16 Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all.

Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.

Matthew 8:26 He said to them, "Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?" Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.

Trust indeed God is good, trust in his unfailing love, trust in life, trust in his undeserved kindness, live in it, be found in God's love, and you will not be found wanting as this world draws to its end. You will not be shaken like the governments and people of this earth in fear of mankind's lack of goodness towards each other. You will mount up like eagles wings from the Spirit of the one whom created all these things by his breathe.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.

1Cor. 13:4 Love is patient and is kind; love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud, 13:5 doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; 13:6 doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 13:7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 13:8 Love never fails.
