The book of John

Chapter 9

John 9:1 As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth.
9:2 His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" 9:3 Jesus answered, "Neither did this man sin, nor his parents; but, that the works of God might be revealed in him. 9:4 I must work the works of him who sent me, while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work.

Sin enter into the world through one man thus all men sin and die. But this was not the point Christ makes here. The point he makes is an erroneous view held by some whom believe that a bad disease, or blindness, in this case, was for a sin against God, and that God was punishing this particular sinner more than all other sinners. However, we are all sinner and the proof is we all die.

Romans 5:12 Therefore, as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin; and so death passed to all men, because all sinned.

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Many have this faulty thinking, they also believe that if a person is blessed that God is playing favorites. But God is impartial, he desire none to suffer or does he bless some over others giving them greater wealth or talent. God allows each of us to make choices and unforeseen circumstance befall all of us. Someday God will pour out his blessing upon mankind under a new heavens and earth. In this case Christ would do a miracle for what purpose? To glorify God, giving humans a preview of God's love and power, the power Christ would be entrusted with so under his incoming kingdom God would heal all the nations of our earth.

Rev.22:1 He showed me a{TR adds "pure"} river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,
22:2 in the middle of its street. On this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruits, yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 22:3 There will be no curse any more. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants serve him.
22:4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.

Moreover, many have the erroneous view that by certain good works God is obligated to bless them materially, or restoring them to health, but this story proves the blind man or the parents could not say why their son was healed? Some today and since Christ have had health restored, some have received other blessing, but they did not earn them, and if they are honest they will tell you they don't know why they were blessed and others are not? Faith is a gift of God, many make the mistake of declaring that the person not healed did not have enough faith, making God not only partial but evil. If faith is a gift of the Holy Spirit, and God gives each one of us a measure of faith, than to heal some, but not others mean God did not distributed enough to the one not healed. God loves all his children he does not play favorites, but he makes decision that require true Christian's a choice to impute evil to God, or impute good just as God is good and loving. If we are a person that like the praise of men, and think we of greater specialness than others; God doing good works towards someone like this blind man can only lead us into imputing evil to God. In this case, first to the man, and than his parent, and finally too Christ Jesus by the Pharisee's who did believe they were more righteous and special than the sinners whom they dealt harshly with.

James 2:5 Listen, my beloved brothers. Didn't God choose those who are poor in this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the Kingdom which he promised to those who love him? 2:6 But you have dishonored the poor man. Don't the rich oppress you, and personally drag you before the courts? 2:7 Don't they blaspheme the honorable name by which you are called? 2:8 However, if you fulfill the royal law, according to the Scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself,"{Leviticus 19:18} you do well. 2:9 But if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors. 2:10 For whoever keeps the whole law, and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.

James 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers.
1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

This miracle glorified God, he drew up hearts and converted others into believing in the son of man, in all cases it proved it was from God because that is exactly how God's works from the creation of man forward in searching hearts, in him letting each of us see the truth of hidden thing of our hearts so we may repent and turn to God in truth and love, and not impute evil motive we don't think God is fair.

Matthew 12:18 "Behold, my servant whom I have chosen; my beloved in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my Spirit on him. He will proclaim justice to the nations.

Matthew 12:20 He won't break a bruised reed. He won't quench a smoking flax, until he leads justice to victory.

Isaiah 33:5 Yahweh is exalted, for he dwells on high. He has filled Zion with justice and righteousness.

***John.9:5 While I am in the world, I am the light of the world."
9:6 When he had said this, he spat on the ground, made mud with the saliva, anointed the blind man's eyes with the mud,
9:7 and said to him, "Go, wash in the pool of Siloam" (which means "Sent"). So he went away, washed, and came back seeing.
9:8 The neighbors therefore, and those who saw that he was blind before, said, "Isn't this he who sat and begged?"
9:9 Others were saying, "It is he." Still others were saying, "He looks like him." He said, "I am he."

There no other light in the world, but Christ what a profound statement Christ makes here! Think about all the great men, all the teachers, all the wisdom of genius that have changed the whole thinking pattern of this world, not one of them is called the light of this word. Stop and really give this point some thought, knowledge is not the light of the world, although, we worship it and those profound men and woman that has brought us new knowledge which changed everything for mankind, but this is not the light of the world!

1Cor.13:1 If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don't have love, I have become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal.
13:2 If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don't have love, I am nothing. 13:3 If I dole out all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don't have love, it profits me nothing.

1 Corinthians 2:7 But we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, the wisdom that has been hidden, which God foreordained before the worlds for our glory.

Luke 10:21 In that same hour Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said, "I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for so it was well-pleasing in your sight."

Jesus also stated he was in the world but the world did not know him. Later almost one-hundred years the apostle John spoke to God's anointed by his headship Christ Jesus stating the world did know them either, as it had not known Christ. All of this is very importance because if Christ changed the world as other great men and woman have than he would be known by all, so what is the context? Knowing what about Christ not just knowledge of him, but actually having him indwell us with his personality. There are lots of great men and woman but most of us don't know them intimately, as Christ knew his Father YHWH, and we know the Father, and the Son by Christ indwelling us with God's Holy Spirit.

John 17:25 Righteous Father, the world hasn't known you, but I knew you; and these knew that you sent me.

John 17:16 They are not of the world even as I am not of the world.

John 14:31 But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father commanded me, even so I do. Arise, let us go from here.

John 14:17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world can't receive; for it doesn't see him, neither knows him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you.

John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, and the world didn't recognize him.

Jesus is the light of our world, in that, he alone of all men was a son of God whom explained to us the Father, no other man could claim such a thing. Many have know God in a limited way, some have speculated as to God as a Father, but only Christ knew his Father most intimately by his Holy Spirit indwelling a perfect man, making him temple of the living God.

John 12:49 For I spoke not from myself, but the Father who sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

John 14:10 Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I tell you, I speak not from myself; but the Father who lives in me does his works.

John 15:9 Even as the Father has loved me, I also have loved you. Remain in my love.

God does not put his Holy Spirit into a sinful person, he does not write his laws into a person that he accounts as a unrighteous. Those of Christ, that is, those in Christ as his body members are grafted into Christ like a branch on a tree receiving the life of the tree making them sinless by Christ merit. Hence, God calls them the temple, because they are member of Christ whom is the temple of God. Thus, the apostles and God's children can say they too are the light of this world. Not light from hidden knowledge, end time prophecy, but light into our Father personality in love. While the world search for knowledge like a lust of greed, God's children explain the Father just as he is, as the ultimate Father, the Father of perfect light with no variation of shadowed of sin, or darkness, but perfect unchanging love that cannot fail us.

John 17:21 that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you sent me.

John 17:25 Righteous Father, the world hasn't known you, but I knew you; and these knew that you sent me.

1 John 5:1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God. Whoever loves the father also loves the child who is born of him.

John 3:1 Behold, how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn't know us, because it didn't know him.

Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.

1 John 4:19 We love Him, because he first loved us.

***John.9:10 They therefore were asking him, "How were your eyes opened?" 9:11 He answered, "A man called Jesus made mud, anointed my eyes, and said to me, 'Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash.' So I went away and washed, and I received sight." 9:12 Then they asked him, "Where is he?" He said, "I don't know." 9:13 They brought him who had been blind to the Pharisees. 9:14 It was a Sabbath when Jesus made the mud and opened his eyes.

The interrogation, when evil cannot control, it interrogates to diminishes power of the people with fear. Who on this earth has authority over Christ? Over God? Who can take God's power and interrogate it for controlling the good works of Holy Spirit. Fear of man is a snare, fear of man is the trouble of all fallen flesh upon earth.

John 3:8 The wind{The same Greek word (pneuma) means wind, breath, and spirit.} blows where it wants to, and you hear its sound, but don't know where it comes from and where it is going. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit."

Luke 12:10 Everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but those who blaspheme against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.

Luke 12:55 When a south wind blows, you say, 'There will be a scorching heat,' and it happens. 12:56 You hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky, but how is it that you don't interpret this time? 12:57 Why don't you judge for yourselves what is right?

False religion practice the same pattern of control, power through fears of intimation. Here the Pharisee's presumptuously thought they could judge by laws the good works of the Son of God! False religion is like a dog whom takes territory ownership of everything it come in contact with unless there is a bigger dog. Than it will attack and intimate anyone coming into its territory with vorticity. These Pharisee's thought they were the owners of God law, and his written word, They thought they had the right to judge people into life and death by law, and the right to control everything within their territory Israel.

Isa.40:12 Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and marked off the sky with his span, and calculated the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance? 40:13 Who has directed the Spirit of Yahweh, or has taught him as his counselor? 40:14 Who did he take counsel with, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of justice, and taught him knowledge, and showed him the way of understanding? 40:15 Behold, the nations are like a drop in a bucket, and are regarded as a speck of dust on a balance. Behold, he lifts up the islands like a very little thing.

False religion follows this pattern no matter what name or type of religion it is. But Christ was not of this world, he did not have the sins of this world, thus, it laws could not judge him wicked. For that was the purpose of the law these mislead Pharisee's and Sadducee were using the law for the wicked and judging Christ, the righteous!

1Tim.1:9 as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 1:10 for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine;

Because like an unreasoning dog blinded to attacking the flesh, the Pharisee's could not see the works of God being done by God's Holy Spirit, why? Because those of the flesh see only flesh, and the power which controls the flesh comes by laws for punishing the flesh as wicked. These attack dogs would misjudged the Son of God as a wicked sinner, and what happens when a person calls down evil upon the righteous?

Revelation 6:10 They cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, Master, the holy and true, until you judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?"

Luke 11:51 from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zachariah, who perished between the altar and the sanctuary.' Yes, I tell you, it will be required of this generation.

Rom.8:33 Who could bring a charge against God's chosen ones? It is God who justifies. 8:34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

To slander God, then file false accusation against what God has declared righteous what profound evil and blindness. Christ had God's Holy Spirit, he was performing good works by God Holy Spirit what is the greatest sin? Sinning against Holy Spirit. No greater mistake can be made, only an evil hearted person would call God's good works evil, but let us remember why these Pharisee's did so? Let us not think we are better or smarter.

James 4:11 Don't speak against one another, brothers. He who speaks against a brother and judges his brother, speaks against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge. 4:12 Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another?

They made the mistakes that is inherent in sinner, and what is that? They thought they could judge correctly that which cannot be judges by laws for sin. Do you really understand what this means? Christ came from another world with out sin, into our world, without sin. His life and affairs were not being judged by God with laws created for the wicked. Christ had no judgment from God, because he was under the law of love, not the laws of the flesh. Christian's often make this same mistake not realizing there are laws for the wicked the law of the Pharisee's used on Christ, and the law of love for the righteous. Neither do they understand the whole world lays under the power of laws for the wicked. Subsequently, they assume they can judge everyone with laws of sin, because all human are
sinners.

James 2:8 However, if you fulfill the royal law, according to the Scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself,"{Leviticus 19:18} you do well. 2:9 But if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors.
2:10 For whoever keeps the whole law, and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.
2:11 For he who said, "Do not commit adultery,"{Exodus 20:14; Deuteronomy 5:18} also said, "Do not commit murder."{Exodus 10:13; Deuteronomy 5:17} Now if you do not commit adultery, but murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.
2:12 So speak, and so do, as men who are to be judged by a law of freedom.

But what happens when God declares something righteous without sin, and we as sinner try judging what God has declared righteous, by laws created for the wicked – sinner? We become the evil one. This is why Israel was destroyed by God for killing that which God declared righteous evil. Sadly, these Pharisee's did not realize they were not calling Christ evil, but the Holy Spirit that declared Christ righteous evil!

Romans 12:17 Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men.

Romans 12:21 Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Moreover, after they killed the Christ God poured out his Holy Spirit into son's of God declare them righteous by Christ Jesus merit, but still the Pharisee's judged God's Holy Spirit in the apostle as evil. Christ warned us about hating a brother in our hearts, what sin are we committing when God declares our brothers righteous because of Christ Jesus merit given us freely in undeserved kindness, and we harbor hate and integration for sins against them?

Matt.18:10 See that you don't despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.

Matt.18:21 Then Peter came and said to him, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times?"
18:22 Jesus said to him, "I don't tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven.
18:23 Therefore the Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king, who wanted to reconcile accounts with his servants.
18:24 When he had begun to reconcile, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.{Ten thousand talents represents an extremely large sum of money, equivalent to about 60,000,000 denarii, where one denarius was typical of one day's wages for agricultural labor.}
18:25 But because he couldn't pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, with his wife, his children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.
18:26 The servant therefore fell down and kneeled before him, saying, 'Lord, have patience with me, and I will repay you all!'
18:27 The lord of that servant, being moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.
18:28 "But that servant went out, and found one of his fellow servants, who owed him one hundred denarii,{100 denarii was about one sixtieth of a talent.} and he grabbed him, and took him by the throat, saying, 'Pay me what you owe!'
18:29 "So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, 'Have patience with me, and I will repay you!'
18:30 He would not, but went and cast him into prison, until he should pay back that which was due.
18:31 So when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were exceedingly sorry, and came and told to their lord all that was done.
18:32 Then his lord called him in, and said to him, 'You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt, because you begged me.
18:33 Shouldn't you also have had mercy on your fellow servant, even as I had mercy on you?'
18:34 His lord was angry, and delivered him to the tormentors, until he should pay all that was due to him.
18:35 So my heavenly Father will also do to you, if you don't each forgive your brother from your hearts for his misdeeds."

***John.9:15 Again therefore the Pharisees also asked him how he received his sight. He said to them, "He put mud on my eyes, I washed, and I see." 9:16 Some therefore of the Pharisees said, "This man is not from God, because he doesn't keep the Sabbath." Others said, "How can a man who is a sinner do such signs?" There was division among them.

When reading this account as Christian's we wonder how could these teachers been so harden in not giving glory to God's good works through Christ? In fact, we all do make ourselves the exception thinking there is no way I would have acted like one of these self-righteous Pharisee's in questioning where this man's healing came from, but are we so certain?

Matt.7:3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye?
7:4 Or how will you tell your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye;' and behold, the beam is in your own eye?
7:5 You hypocrite! First remove the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother's eye.

James 4:5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who lives in us yearns jealously"?

Religious influence is very powerful this community was a religious community a person acceptance in it, that is, to make a living, associated with friends and family came by way of upholding the beliefs of the community. When the teachers said something it was law, and one dare not disagree with it, or they may will be put out of society unable to associate with family and friend, and conduct a business or work! With that thought in mind perhaps we would have been struck by fear and went along with the Pharisee's interrogation of this man and his family, keeping our mouths shut so we would not be next, hum?

Proverbs 29:25 The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe.

The legal mind is a mind that first imputes evil towards the person being interrogated, it assumes there is a wickedness, in this case that Christ was apostate, hence, a sinner, and it was the job of these teachers to protect society from his influence. This is not love, which believes all things and hopes all things, now is it? Subsequently, we must be honest do we have a legal mind, which first imputes evil towards others, than we verify and perhaps believe them,and even at some point give our trust to them as a Christian's?

Luke 9:46 There arose an argument among them about which of them was the greatest. 9:47 Jesus, perceiving the reasoning of their hearts, took a little child, and set him by his side, 9:48 and said to them, "Whoever receives this little child in my name receives me. Whoever receives me receives him who sent me. For whoever is least among you all, this one will be great."

Well, don't feel alone, because that is one-hundred percent of all fleshly thinking of our world, or we will be taken advantage of, and/or be used. We all fall short of God's glory, this truth is good to know, why? Because truth start with us. Yes, we have all interrogated others, even those called Christian's that we are to love like Christ loved us. We might will have been found in the camp of those opposing the Christ just as some of Christ own apostles did at times when overcome by their fear in fleshly thinking.

Luke 6:45 The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings out that which is good, and the evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings out that which is evil, for out of the abundance of the heart, his mouth speaks.

Luke 11:4 Forgive us our sins, for we ourselves also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.'"

We must as Christian's sober up to righteousness, which mean we must get a proper evaluation of what our sinful flesh is, and what the mind of Christ is? We must understand both have vastly different laws governing them. The fleshly mind has laws of sin governing it, which mean it has a mind that first imputes evil, that is , distrust, as the fleshly mind of these Pharisee's did here. Than we have the mind of Christ which is actually the mind of God, given to Christ as a gift of Holy Spirit which imputes love. Love does not impute evil, it imputes good, and hopes the best in us. This is the mind God judges us with, good and not evil.

James 1:14 But each one is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed. 1:15 Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death.
1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers. 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.
1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures. 1:19 So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger; 1:20 for the anger of man doesn't produce the righteousness of God.

So what is the point? The point is stop taking ourselves so seriously when pronouncing judgment upon others by using the scriptures because if we do that we are in a fleshly mind, which is so powerful most Christian's don't even know they have one? They assume by the fleshly mind that their judgments our righteous and good, just as these Pharisee's thought they were doing a sacred service in interrogating the man healed, and his parents. Yes, they were so convinces of this that they would have died for the so called truth!

Later they interrogate Christ, thinking they are upholding the integrity of God's word. At last they declare a righteous man a sinner, they called him evil, and that he had a demon. In other words, they never had enough sense to realize they were judging by sins laws from a fleshly mind dead to God and Christ! We all interrogate with suspicion, we all impute evil first for that is the sinful fleshes mind, but do we continue building a case, word, by word, hoping to convict the person of grave sins? Do we have enough understanding of our fallen condition to temper our natural inclination not to be quick to judge?

James3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth.
3:15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed. 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 3:18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

Not one of these legal minded Pharisee's could have thought they were sinning against God, in fact, they may be sinning against God's Holy Spirit. Are we so certain of our judgments when Christ stated eternal life would come to his sheep by a simple act of kindness, and not judgment? Yes, the sheep imputed good to Christ brothers, while the goats could do no good towards Christ brothers because like the Pharisee's who would not do any good towards Christ because of their fleshly legal mind judgments prevented them legally from kindness, in helping someone they judged as evil, so goes the fleshly thinking of the goats.

Matt. 25:32 Before him all the nations will be gathered, and he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
25:33 He will set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 25:34 Then the King will tell those on his right hand, 'Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; 25:35 for I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in. 25:36 I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you visited me. I was in prison, and you came to me.'
25:37 "Then the righteous will answer him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you; or thirsty, and give you a drink?
25:38 When did we see you as a stranger, and take you in; or naked, and clothe you? 25:39 When did we see you sick, or in prison, and come to you?' 25:40 "The King will answer them, 'Most certainly I tell you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers{The word for "brothers" here may be also correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."}, you did it to me.' 25:41 Then he will say also to those on the left hand, 'Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels; 25:42 for I was hungry, and you didn't give me food to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me no drink; 25:43 I was a stranger, and you didn't take me in; naked, and you didn't clothe me; sick, and in prison, and you didn't visit me.' 25:44 "Then they will also answer, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and didn't help you?'
25:45 "Then he will answer them, saying, 'Most certainly I tell you, inasmuch as you didn't do it to one of the least of these, you didn't do it to me.' 25:46 These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

*** John.9:17 Therefore they asked the blind man again, "What do you say about him, because he opened your eyes?" He said, "He is a prophet." 9:18 The Jews therefore did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and had received his sight, until they called the parents of him who had received his sight, 9:19 and asked them, "Is this your son, who you say was born blind? How then does he now see?" 9:20 His parents answered them, "We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind; 9:21 but how he now sees, we don't know; or who opened his eyes, we don't know. He is of age. Ask him. He will speak for himself." 9:22 His parents said these things because they feared the Jews; for the Jews had already agreed that if any man would confess him as Christ, he would be put out of the synagogue.

The apostle Paul stated all men are liars, he was quoting the Psalm of David in doing so. This talk is offensive to some whom consider themselves honest without the fault of lying, but here the Pharisee's approached their investigation of the blind man healed based upon a lie! They had an “agenda”, which is a lie, they weren't telling this man or their parent their real motives in investigating the blind man healed.

Psalms 15:3 He who doesn't slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his friend, nor casts slurs against his fellow man;

Psalms 64:5 They encourage themselves in evil plans. They talk about laying snares secretly. They say, "Who will see them?"

The question is who gave these Pharisee's the right to interrogate these people, do you know? It was their position as teachers of God's law, the government empowered these men, what power? The power to put people out of their religion and society, but what power would these men have over the Christ? Did Christ allow himself to be interrogated? No! Christ did not submit to men, any man in power, he did not please the flesh at all, but why?

Matt.27:11 Now Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, "Are you the King of the Jews?" Jesus said to him, "So you say." 27:12 When he was accused by the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing. 27:13 Then Pilate said to him, "Don't you hear how many things they testify against you?" 27:14 He gave him no answer, not even one word, so that the governor marveled greatly.

Christ came from above, not of this world, his authority to do this came from YHWH the King over all. Christ was not someone you could interrogate by human reasoning that is flawed and evil from sin. How does one interrogate the wind? Christ was anointed with Holy Spirit, the Spirit blows where it wants, it is not hinder by men whom are but dust upon the scales of Jehovah God, a mere drop of water into a bucket.

John3:5 Jesus answered, "Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born of water and spirit, he can't enter into the Kingdom of God!
3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 3:7 Don't marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born anew.' 3:8 The wind{The same Greek word (pneuma) means wind, breath, and spirit.} blows where it wants to, and you hear its sound, but don't know where it comes from and where it is going. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit."

Isa. 40:5 The glory of Yahweh shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of Yahweh has spoken it."
40:6 The voice of one saying, "Cry!" One said, "What shall I cry?" "All flesh is like grass, and all its glory is like the flower of the field.
40:7 The grass withers, the flower fades, because Yahweh's breath blows on it. Surely the people are like grass.
40:8 The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God stands forever."

Human in religion set themselves up as interrogator of their subjects like kings, they drag you before courts and interrogate your motives by imputing evil to the person accused of a sin against their organization, and/or group, but whom has given them that power? Is it Christ, are they acting in his absent like a evil slave? No! No human has been given that power upon earth, Christ stripped humans of such power by ascending into heavens as their King prophet. He stripped the power of corrupted authority by taking all authority from his Father in heaven and earth over his body members.

Col.2:12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead. 2:13 You were dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh. He made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, 2:14 wiping out the handwriting in ordinances which was against us; and he has taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross; 2:15 having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

These were all brothers not interrogators, his brothers are not attorney's of other member faith they are ministers of a new covenant of love, the greatest among them being the least their minister. Today many boasting in being Christ brothers take power through the unrighteous uses of interrogating their brothers, seating themselves above other body members, but who has given them that power?

Matthew 25:45 "Then he will answer them, saying, 'Most certainly I tell you, inasmuch as you didn't do it to one of the least of these, you didn't do it to me.'

Luke 9:48 and said to them, "Whoever receives this little child in my name receives me. Whoever receives me receives him who sent me. For whoever is least among you all, this one will be great."
Those weak and corrupted by power will uses this unrighteous tool thinking they are empower as greater than other members of the body of Christ. Such is a self appointment, not an appointment from Christ approval. Christ is the only sealed faithful slave God has openly declared to be such before mankind, and angels in heaven and upon earth, we cannot doubt that and claim to be a Christian's. Christ died faithful making him a faithful and discreet slave of his body members, all spiritual food will be disseminated through his headship direction. No man has been yet declared a faithful slave by God openly before heaven and earth that appointment will come as all the anointed are sealed by God before the end of our world found on heavenly mountain Zion.

Luke.22:24 There arose also a contention among them, which of them was considered to be greatest. 22:25 He said to them, "The kings of the nations lord it over them, and those who have authority over them are called 'benefactors.' 22:26 But not so with you. But one who is the greater among you, let him become as the younger, and one who is governing, as one who serves. 22:27 For who is greater, one who sits at the table, or one who serves? Isn't it he who sits at the table? But I am in the midst of you as one who serves.

Rev.14:1 I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him a number, one hundred forty-four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads.
14:2 I heard a sound from heaven, like the sound of many waters, and like the sound of a great thunder. The sound which I heard was like that of harpists playing on their harps. 14:3 They sing a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the one hundred forty-four thousand, those who had been redeemed out of the earth.
14:4 These are those who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed by Jesus from among men, the first fruits to God and to the Lamb. 14:5 In their mouth was found no lie, for they are blameless.{TR adds "before the throne of God"}
The authority given to Christ brothers is to walk in love and minister to the rest of the body members, they are not given authority to interrogate members of the wind, anointed by Holy Spirit by the power of the King YHWH. No member of Christ has any ownership over other anointed brothers, and no brother of Christ should submit to an interrogation of any man presumptuously assuming such power over them. When Christ brothers give up their position of being Spirit led for membership of a group submitting to interrogation living a lie to maintain a position within a group, any group, they are saving this life to the exclusion of the next!

Luke 9:24 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it.
9:25 For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses or forfeits his own self? 9:26 For whoever will be ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed, when he comes in his glory, and the glory of the Father, and of the holy angels.

***John.9:23 Therefore his parents said, "He is of age. Ask him."
9:24 So they called the man who was blind a second time, and said to him, "Give glory to God. We know that this man is a sinner." 9:25 He therefore answered, "I don't know if he is a sinner. One thing I do know: that though I was blind, now I see."
9:26 They said to him again, "What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?"

Truth is so powerful it is simple and strikes fear into the hearts of those that are self-righteous! Self-righteousness comes when a person actually believes they have performed some work according to a rule, law or a group, like religion making themselves righteous by that work without sin.
1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

People do this by family rules, business rules, and governmental rules it is the practice of the unrighteous. Here the Pharisee's interrogators thought they were righteous by what? The law of Moses, but where they? They could stand right before God in one way under the law of Moses, by being atone for by innocent blood of an animal, the law did not make a person righteous, it did however, point to all men being sinners.

Romans 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? May it never be! However, I wouldn't have known sin, except through the law. For I wouldn't have known coveting, unless the law had said, "You shall not covet."{Exodus 20:17; Deuteronomy 5:21}

Hebrews 7:19 (for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

Since Christ died atoning for sin once for all times many Christian's have fallen into the same trap as did these Pharisee's. They have been herd into religions, today some fifty-one-thousands different Christian's religions on earth. Within those religion they all have membership rules, many have become self-righteous by obeying those rules thinking by them they can judge others, like these Pharisee's were doing to this blind man and Christ Jesus. However, nations of people have been destroyed by rules of government, the power of obeying rules is so extreme in our sinful natures that ones actually can believe they are no longer a sinner so they have the right to judge others not in their group as unworthy of eternal life with God.

James 4:11 Don't speak against one another, brothers. He who speaks against a brother and judges his brother, speaks against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge.

There is not one Christian's alive that has ever made themselves righteous, not one self-made Christian's. Those thinking differently are like these Pharisee's who had deluded themselves into the grandest lie of all, which is, they had made themselves righteous by works of law under the law of Moses. Those practicing works of law, any law, are interrogates full of wicked suspicion towards everyone not obeying their rules, just like the Pharisee's were in this case. Judgment is powerful, it is a form of self-righteousness where a person sets themselves up as better, a judge of rules empowering themselves over others, as appointed by God because they read their bibles, and/or are given a position within some religion.

1 Timothy 1:9 as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

This power infects the person mind, consuming them until their minds are full of gangrene seeing evil in every word spoken hoping to trap some one is a misdeed to place them into a box so they don't have to deal with a person, as a human being. Soon they can no longer love, God or brother, they are believing the lie the spirit of error has past into them where they think themselves clean and righteous by their own evaluation of themselves, and what is that? As sick as this sounds their evaluation comes not from judging themselves against truth of Christ Jesus righteousness, but instead judging others. They live off, and thrive off of declaring others wicked just as Satan and the demons practice.

1 Timothy 6:5 constant friction of people of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. Withdraw yourself from such.{NU omits "Withdraw yourself from such."}

The have become practiced in judging others, believing because they can fine fault in everyone they are more righteous than their victims. This spirit of error led these Pharisee's in declaring a sinless man evil, Christ Jesus. This blindness has caused many of Christian's to destroy lives of innocent people, and their brothers, and sisters. Don't be fooled by your personal good evaluation of yourself, no! Judge yourself righteously against the Son of God, who has no flesh, who has no weakness in the flesh than and only than will you come up with the proper evaluation of all humans, we are all sinners, we all fall short of God's glory, and we are all under undeserved kindness.

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

Romans 3:20 Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin.

Romans 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

Romans 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;

Rom.12:1 Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service. 12:2 Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. 12:3 For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.

***John 9:27 He answered them, "I told you already, and you didn't listen. Why do you want to hear it again? You don't also want to become his disciples, do you?" 9:28 They insulted him and said, "You are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses. 9:29 We know that God has spoken to Moses. But as for this man, we don't know where he comes from." 9:30 The man answered them, "How amazing! You don't know where he comes from, yet he opened my eyes. 9:31 We know that God doesn't listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshipper of God, and does his will, he listens to him.{Psalm 66:18, Proverbs 15:29; 28:9} 9:32 Since the world began it has never been heard of that anyone opened the eyes of someone born blind. 9:33 If this man were not from God, he could do nothing." 9:34 They answered him, "You were altogether born in sins, and do you teach us?" They threw him out.

Here we see the unrighteousness of the fleshly mind its evil uses of pretending that its discovering the facts of and investigation while it has a predetermined judgment made before it ever starts the investigation! How many people on earth believe they are honest? Well, about 100% yet few are honest all the time, and most only judge honesty in others weakness, and not their own in not telling the truth to bosses, mates, neighbor, and friends.

Proverbs 30:6 Don't you add to his words, lest he reprove you, and you be found a liar.

Romans 3:4 May it never be! Yes, let God be found true, but every man a liar. As it is written, "That you might be justified in your words, and might prevail when you come into judgment."{Psalm 51:4}

The man healed told the truth it did not matter to those claiming to work for God. Christ told the truth and they hated him. The man was a sinner to the self-righteous, and Christ was not a sinner yet they made false accusation calling Christ a sinner. This extreme prejudiced is not uncommon in all people although they would like to think themselves justice and fair. In fact, most people will stand in line to have a position of judging others, wanting to prove they are fair and just judge. Unfortunately, the sheer act of wanting the position proves they are not worthy to judge anyone, why? Simply, because making a name for themselves as a judge is more important than judging of a person life righteously.

1 John 1:10 If we say that we haven't sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Matt.7:1 "Don't judge, so that you won't be judged.
7:2 For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you. 7:3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye? 7:4 Or how will you tell your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye;' and behold, the beam is in your own eye? 7:5 You hypocrite! First remove the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother's eye.

Christ Jesus is God's designated judge of all humans, he will by his judgments heal the nations in righteousness. He will not judge by site of flesh, he will judge by the heart of men. Christ is not tainted by flesh and its lust, he is from above, we are from below, he does not judge for position or to make a name for himself. He does not judge with motive because at onetime somebody did evil to him, so he gets on a soap boxes and makes that his motive in everything he judges in this life hating anyone who had done what was done to him.

Isaiah 2:4 He will judge between the nations, and will decide concerning many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

John 7:24 Don't judge according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment."

John 5:30 I can of myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous; because I don't seek my own will, but the will of my Father who sent me.

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

The problem for all flesh is this, rather your a Christian's or not is, if we think we are fair and righteous we are not. If on the other hand, we entrust God with judgment and beg for wisdom not to hurt others in our judgment, we have a far better chance of doing things right. We have a far better chance of doing onto others as we actually secretly want done to us in our hearts. To be a victim while blaming others all the time is unrighteous, and proves we are not fair at all.

James 3:1 Let not many of you be teachers, my brothers, knowing that we will receive heavier judgment. 3:2 For in many things we all stumble. If anyone doesn't stumble in word, the same is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body also.

James 3:8 But nobody can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. 3:9 With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who are made in the image of God. 3:10 Out of the same mouth comes forth blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. 3:11 Does a spring send out from the same opening fresh and bitter water?

Victimization is a tool of the devil something Christ never used and he was a victim, and innocent victim that uncomplaining gave his life for us. That is the mark we are to obtain too, not the evil of the devil that is constantly complaining that God is unfair and injustice. We as Christian's have the perfect law of love, if we peer into that law there is no depth of wisdom that won't be granted to us by our faith there will be an answer, there will be an unselfish solution to each ever problem we encounter upon this earth. The flesh is unfair and it lust in all of us with selfishness and anger, but God has made away out in his love, in his law of love, it is the only thing that will not fail and endure for ever, think, think, thinks, serious about that statement?

James 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers.
1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures. 1:19 So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger;
1:20 for the anger of man doesn't produce the righteousness of God. 1:21 Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls{or, preserve your life.}.
1:22 But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves. 1:23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man looking at his natural face in a mirror;
1:24 for he sees himself, and goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 1:25 But he who looks into the perfect law of freedom, and continues, not being a hearer who forgets, but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does.
1:26 If anyone among you thinks himself to be religious while he doesn't bridle his tongue, but deceives his heart, this man's religion is worthless.

***John 9:35 Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and finding him, he said, "Do you believe in the Son of God?" 9:36 He answered, "Who is he, Lord, that I may believe in him?" 9:37 Jesus said to him, "You have both seen him, and it is he who speaks with you." 9:38 He said, "Lord, I believe!" and he worshiped him.

Today many Christian's think of so many clever ways to bring people to Christ. They think if they could just impact a person with some word, some picture, some great act, or truth uncovered a person would convert, its just one thing missing, and they think if they can find it would save the person? Yes, there is one thing missing? God's appointment with the person in Spirit and truth.

John 3:31 He who comes from above is above all. He who is from the Earth belongs to the Earth, and speaks of the Earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.

John 6:37 All those who the Father gives me will come to me. Him who comes to me I will in no way throw out.

We find no great discussion with people Christ had, usually a few words, even the apostles of Christ only used a few words, and the person believed, and dedicated themselves to God. Even though Jesus act was great here for the blind man, few words were spoken beyond the truth. The truth was God's good work towards this man, and truth be known, all of us converted to Christianity when God did some good work for us, or in us, we then accepted Christ with few words instead believing the actions of God in a good work for us making the words of the bible real too us.

John 6:45 It is written in the prophets, 'They will all be taught by God.'{Isaiah 54:13} Therefore everyone who hears from the Father, and has learned, comes to me.

1Cor.3:7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.

Each of must search for God, but he is not far off from anyone of us. This man was searching God, God knew his heart that is why he stood up for the truth of Christ. Moreover, that is why, he gave Christ worship as the son of God. He had communed with God, sought his understanding, and when good came from God the man's faith in the secret place of his heart was rewarded. Let all of us, spend more time in prayer asking God to direct us to those seeking him, let us put less emphases on appealing to a person flesh by some great thing we think will draw them to Christ. Let us use the wisdom of God in Christ Jesus mind, let us be directed by God, and his holy angels to those with meek hearts.

Matthew 18:14 Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.

Luke 21:18 And not a hair of your head will perish.

John 3:15 that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Please let this be God's work, for than it will be perfect, it will have lasting effects forever with certain success. But if it is from us, it will be burnt up, it will rob others of eternal life. Do you have faith in God's love? Do you believe not one person that loves him will perish? Let us be reasonable not fretting that the kingdom of God is something of man will or working, or that we can give it too a person. Let us not be a worry wort thinking such anxious care is from the Spirit of God.

Acts 17:27 that they should seek the Lord, if perhaps they might reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us.

Mark 4:39 He awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace! Be still!" The wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

Mark 4:41 They were greatly afraid, and said to one another, "Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?"

If God cares so little about eternal lives of his creation leaving it up to us to make it happen, we will certainly burn out, and up just as stubble of field when fire hits it. We are but a moment on this earth, he is from every lasting to every lasting, we are but mist, here today and gone tomorrow. In death so perish our thoughts, our loves, hates, worries, all gone with us, but God's work last forever, if we have faith in his goodness, and not our own. If we put faith in the unfailing love, of the God of love, let us have faith!

Matthew 21:21 Jesus answered them, "Most certainly I tell you, if you have faith, and don't doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it would be done.

Isa. 40:27 Why do you say, Jacob, and speak, Israel, "My way is hidden from Yahweh, and the justice due me is disregarded by my God?" 40:28 Haven't you known? Haven't you heard? The everlasting God, Yahweh, The Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn't faint. He isn't weary. His understanding is unsearchable. 40:29 He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. 40:30 Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall; 40:31 But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.

***John 9:39 Jesus said, "I came into this world for judgment, that those who don't see may see; and that those who see may become blind."

What judgment did Christ bring into this world? Surprisingly, none! Christ did not judge flesh, why? Because that job was done, how? By God's righteous law which had been in place for thousand's of years over his people the Jews. Christ came to complete the law, that is, died sealing it with his precious blood creating a new covenant between man and God.

John 7:24 Don't judge according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment."

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

This than is the truth Christ brought, and the fact it was truth caused division among the flesh, to make a choice of accepting it or reject it! Hence, judgment! Was the flesh going to stay blinded to the Spirit or accept the truth and worship God in Spirit and truth? But how could that happen? One way only! The Christ must be lift up, like the serpent in the wilderness where God's people rebelled against Moses and serpents were sent to bit the people. God had a copper serpent made, and put on a pole; everyone humbling themselves that looked up to the copper serpent were healed from death.

John 3:14 As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up.

Numbers 21:8 Yahweh said to Moses, Make you a fiery serpent, and set it on a standard: and it shall happen, that everyone who is bitten, when he sees it, shall live.

The rebellious flesh would kill the Christ despite its so called love of God through law, the law cause more sin and not less, the sinful flesh is in a state of rebellion against God it cannot submit to God's laws, so its our serpent that bites us into death! This flesh would destroy the Son of Man. Then the Son of man would be lift up, resurrected and those cut to the heart humbling themselves seeing the truth of their unrighteous condition by their conduct towards God's love, Christ Jesus would be saved, but how?

Rom. 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be. 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

John 3:14 As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,
3:15 that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 3:17 For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.
3:18 He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn't believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God. 3:19 This is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil. 3:20 For everyone who does evil hates the light, and doesn't come to the light, lest his works would be exposed.

Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.

They would received not blindness, but the thing that opens eyes, and without it one cannot see or understand God or his words, and what is that? The Holy Spirit, which kills the sinful flesh, and raise the spirit of each of us into Christ. Christ did not come to judge the flesh dead to God and Christ, such was its judgment long before Christ came to this earth. Its judgment handed down in the Garden of Eden, and the law enforced that judgment upon God's people. Christ came for a better lasting hope in making people into spirit being removing the sin of our flesh, by killing it as irredeemable and bring us to life in our spirit. But each of us must come to the light, and/or the truth of serpent in us sins of the fallen flesh, or die in our sins!

Romans 8:3 For what the law couldn't do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh;

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.{NU omits "who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"}

Romans 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

Genesis 3:4 The serpent said to the woman, "You won't surely die.

***John 9:40 Those of the Pharisees who were with him heard these things, and said to him, "Are we also blind?" 9:41 Jesus said to them, "If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, 'We see.' Therefore your sin remains.

To know that is the question? When a person is gifted with a good mind they find it very hard not to know everything, or at least admit they don't! Human think having knowledge of everything is eternal life with God, this is of course a trap, and a deception of the proud of heart fall into.

1Cor.1:18 For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but to us who are saved it is the power of God.
1:19 For it is written, "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, I will bring the discernment of the discerning to nothing."{Isaiah 29:14}
1:20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the lawyer of this world? Hasn't God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
1:21 For seeing that in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom didn't know God, it was God's good pleasure through the foolishness of the preaching to save those who believe.

What God and Christ were offering mankind these Pharisee's could not know, without God's Holy Spirit. Christ or YHWH never gave us any other hope, they did not lie to us telling us: “If we study real hard we could understand them or the scriptures!” But why? Because if you think about it, life is a gift, not a demand! From the creation of man on earth it has always been a gift given by God from his love, it has not been a self-demanding right humans take. Life cannot be taken from God, nor for that matter anything else.

John 6:33 For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world."

John 10:10 The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.

These teachers of the law had earned themselves a right, a demand of respect, but not from God who gives gifts. But from other humans, so they were blinded to the truth of God, because they demanded the truth by their fleshly lives alienated from God. Yes, a person can have a thousand's bible, know every verse in their bible's and be alienated from God.

Luke 24:27 Beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.

John5:39 "You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and these are they which testify about me.
5:40 Yet you will not come to me, that you may have life.
5:41 I don't receive glory from men. 5:42 But I know you, that you don't have God's love in yourselves.

Blindness is not removed by self-effort when it comes to knowing God and his love, it is a gift granted from above, not below. Christ himself was a gift from above, not below. Human make a big mistake they are born into life, then posses life, and believe they have ownership of their life, but not according to God the giver of life. People enslave themselves to this life, doing all they can to keep this life, while losing the next by this fault thinking.

James 4:13 Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow let's go into this city, and spend a year there, trade, and make a profit."
4:14 Whereas you don't know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away. 4:15 For you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that."

Luke 12:24 Consider the ravens: they don't sow, they don't reap, they have no warehouse or barn, and God feeds them. How much more valuable are you than birds!

Matthew 10:28 Don't be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.{or, Hell.}

Luke 12:15 He said to them, "Beware! Keep yourselves from covetousness, for a man's life doesn't consist of the abundance of the things which he possesses." 12:16 He spoke a parable to them, saying, "The ground of a certain rich man brought forth abundantly.
12:17 He reasoned within himself, saying, 'What will I do, because I don't have room to store my crops?' 12:18 He said, 'This is what I will do. I will pull down my barns, and build bigger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. 12:19 I will tell my soul, "Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years. Take your ease, eat, drink, be merry."' 12:20 "But God said to him, 'You foolish one, tonight your soul is required of you. The things which you have prepared--whose will they be?'

Hence, when they come in contact with any gift of God, such as his word, they take ownership of it, which causes them immediate blindness as these teachers had done with law slanderously accusing the sinless son of God of a crime! They were weeds, stealing the productive ground of God's gifts, the fruit is a gift, but the self-righteous take them as their own works. The air we breathe is a gift, the food we eat is a gift, but takers have possessed all things upon this earth doling it out as payment for profit, putting their names upon the item gaining power, control, and fame for self-glory charging it back to mankind as their property for profit.

Matt.13:10 The disciples came, and said to him, "Why do you speak to them in parables?" 13:11 He answered them, "To you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but it is not given to them. 13:12 For whoever has, to him will be given, and he will have abundance, but whoever doesn't have, from him will be taken away even that which he has. 13:13 Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they don't see, and hearing, they don't hear, neither do they understand.

Matt.13:24 He set another parable before them, saying, "The Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field,
13:25 but while people slept, his enemy came and sowed darnel weeds{darnel is a weed grass (probably bearded darnel or lolium temulentum) that looks very much like wheat until it is mature, when the difference becomes very apparent.} also among the wheat, and went away. 13:26 But when the blade sprang up and brought forth fruit, then the darnel weeds appeared also.
13:27 The servants of the householder came and said to him, 'Sir, didn't you sow good seed in your field? Where did this darnel come from?' 13:28 "He said to them, 'An enemy has done this.' "The servants asked him, 'Do you want us to go and gather them up?'

God shares, God is a giver, we cannot own God's words personally, we must have a heart of giving to receive the truth of God, or we are blinded thinking we have a personal right to push it down others throat or interpret it anyway our unrighteous heart feels free to do.

Rev. 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" He who hears, let him say, "Come!" He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely. 22:18 I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, if anyone adds to them, may God add to him the plagues which are written in this book. 22:19 If anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, may God take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book. 22:20 He who testifies these things says, "Yes, I come quickly." Amen! Yes, come, Lord Jesus. 22:21 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with all the saints. Amen.
