Perfecting The Flesh Vs. The Spirit

John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Here we see a fruit tree, it is inviting with many wonderful piece of fruit hanging from its branches. However, each and every time you go to get some of its fruit you are puncher with a thorn, the pain is excruciating! But the fruit is like a drug! You must have it, forgetting like a blind person the painful experience for the power of its fruit.

Matt.7:16 By their fruits you will know them. Do you gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?

Have you honestly evaluated your religion, and its fruit? Better yet, can we honestly say without a motive, or agenda, we have looked at our religion with truth? Many have since the time of Christ found a shocking truth when being very honest that the fruit of their own chosen religion did not line up at all with Christ and his words. But unfortunately, like a powerful drug they have refused to leave for the power of the fruit. .

1 Corinthians 11:28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of the cup.

Revelation 17:4 The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of the sexual immorality of the earth.

Each of us stand at a cross road, one road is to accept the truth on God's terms, and the other road is to bring the things we want from this world into God's words, justifying our wants and needs so we can have a “form of godly devotion”. Once at this juncture in our life/faith, we can either perfect the flesh calling it from God (its needs, wants and fear), which is a lie, and/or we can allow God to perfect us in the Spirit which kills the flesh and live in truth!

John 6:63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

1 John 5:6 This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the “Spirit is the truth”.

Paradise Lost

What is paradise, some think of a beautiful park, others perhaps a home where family and friend are raised and entertain. Still others a religion, where a family exist of brothers and sisters? But what is paradise to God? Paradise can only exist for God when man can walk with God in Spirit and truth, without pretense, without suspicion causing fear and distrust, hence, without a lie where we convince ourselves false actions are justified by some good work.

James 3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth. 3:15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.

Paradise was lost for us by a lie causing Adam and Eve to sin. Once in sin they lost paradise with God, who is paradise, his very being is paradise, His thoughts are what good is created from so Adam and Eve could live in paradise (making him paradise). Subsequently, paradise lost was the cutting off of association with the mind of God in Spirit and truth. Now the lie enter into the world, that is, mankind by his own fleshly thoughts, which fleshly thoughts must live a lie to survive in a world of untruth where action do not meet words, where fruit that is called good is actually evil cause pain and death!

Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.

In other words, the fleshly mind was created when it was alienated from God by sin, which fleshly mind was created by a lie, from Satan. Nothing good dwelt in the flesh it had been corrupted cut off from God so its very nature deceived and created false gods by polluting truth, into a broad road that cannot be made straight by any means on earth.

Jer.17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it? 17:10 I, Yahweh, search the mind, I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.

Ecclesiastes 1:15 That which is crooked can't be made straight; and that which is lacking can't be counted.

That is a bitter harsh pill for those loving the fleshly mind justifying it as a good god, and wanting to make it perfect by religion. Most would rather have the drug of false religion which is fleshly minded mixed of the truth written by Spirit found in God's word the bible mixed into a fleshly mind created by the lie of Satan. Paradise restored, that is, for those loving God must be restored by God's and His Spirit, not us just by studying many religious books including the bible, with our fleshly mind born from birth with.

Ecclesiastes 12:12 Furthermore, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh. Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

Wheat and Weeds

This truth is staggering to most Christian's, because the fleshly mind is full of fight to survive. Nevertheless, truth cannot change because of our fleshly feelings even if the lust are so great we cannot contain them, such emotions only blinds us to the fruit of the tree by lust of flesh wanting something more than truth and Spirit at the cost of putting to death the flesh.

Proverbs 19:2 It isn't good to have zeal without knowledge; nor being hasty with one's feet and missing the way.

Romans 10:2 For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.

A weed cannot produce any other “kind” but more weeds, and a wheat cannot produce any other “kind” but more wheat. If one takes a wheat and plant it in the same soil as the weed, both will grow together, but neither wheat or the weeds will change into another spices. The struggle of the weeds (flesh) is to deceived itself into believing it can change into a wheat by reading words from the bible, which reading is a the weeds food, a mixture of flesh and spirit words found in God word the bible but it does not change a weed into another kind it only decieves the weeds into thinking it is a wheat.

Ephesians 2:9 not of works, that no one would boast.

But the issue for the wheat is not to be deceived by fleshly food from the mind of weeds, as coming from Christ as the bread of life? The bread of life has no weed food in it, it is yeast free, without the fleshly mind's deathly thoughts.

Matthew 13:33 He spoke another parable to them. "The Kingdom of Heaven is like yeast, which a woman took, and hid in three measures{literally, three sata. 3 sata is about 39 litres or a bit more than a bushel} of meal, until it was all leavened."

1 Corinthians 5:7 Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.

The Planting of Wheat

So what plants a wheat seed? What is its source of power its Spirit life? The next question is who plants the wheat, and where does its life source come from, which produce its food, feeding it, giving it power to walk in Spirit and truth? If a person wants God's truth, let us know a profound truth here, which can never be lost. The planting of the wheat is by Spirit (God), not of this world. On the other hand, the planting of the weed is of this world the fleshly mind, by God's enemy, (Satan the Devil) who is the father of the first lie.

Matthew 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and in the harvest time I will tell the reapers, "First, gather up the darnel weeds, and bind them in bundles to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn."'"

Matthew 13:36 Then Jesus sent the multitudes away, and went into the house. His disciples came to him, saying, "Explain to us the parable of the darnel weeds of the field."

Matthew 13:38 the field is the world; and the good seed, these are the children of the Kingdom; and the darnel weeds are the children of the evil one.

Matthew 13:40 As therefore the darnel weeds are gathered up and burned with fire; so will it be at the end of this age.

The source of life, or nourishment for the wheat comes from the planter of the wheat, which is God in truth and Spirit (not by human hands or wisdom). Without truth from Spirit there is no food and life for the wheat. Wheat cannot, lets repeat that, wheat cannot live or survive without feeding on God's Spirit life coming from above through Christ Jesus mind as the bread of life.
There is no other source of food for wheat on this earth.

Galatians 6:8 For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

Galatians 3:3 Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now completed in the flesh?

2 Corinthians 5:5 Now he who made us for this very thing is God, who also gave to us the down payment of the Spirit.

1 Corinthians 6:11 Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.

In other words, if wheat eats the food from below digesting the thoughts of the fleshly mind the Spirit of the mind of Christ dies to the truth being a death dealing polluted deceptive mixture of good and bad. Just as Adam and Eve lost paradise so will those feeding upon weed food. What is weed food? It is the thinking of the fleshly mind which digest words of Spirit and truth into human fleshly thinking of self-justification that feeds support this world found in opposition to God's Spirit mind holding all truths of life.

Romans 2:19 and are confident that you yourself are a guide of the blind, a light to those who are in darkness.

2 Corinthians 4:4 in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them.

Romans 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

Perfecting the Flesh

First, let is be said the flesh steal the ground where God planted his wheat. Subsequently, it is false religion that steal God's word the bible digesting it into a polluted substitutes a foul mixture of wine that mislead any and all who drinking of it. Its entire mission is to make a better fleshly person for this world which was created from a lie.

Romans 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;

1 John 5:19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith.

The deception is a drug which allows one not to see the truth of its fruit for the power of this life, This is the power of false religion fruit tree in feeding our flesh upon this earth while living a lie to the truth of its fruit!

John 6:31 Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness. As it is written, 'He gave them bread out of heaven{Greek and Hebrew use the same word for "heaven", "the heavens", "the sky", and "the air".} to eat.'"{Exodus 16:4; Nehemiah 9:15; Psalm 78:24-25}

John 6:33 For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world."

John 6:35 Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will not be hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.

Thus, the teachings from the source of life for the fleshly tree is wine, why wine? Because the source of all life is Spirit from God, who is the waters of life, which the bible calls wine. False religion has stolen those waters, wine, making a false mixture calling it life and truth, but all its can produce is more fleshly thinking growing more weeds.

James 3:11 Does a spring send out from the same opening fresh and bitter water? 3:12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water.

Religion tries with all its power to do one thing produce a better flesh, a better person upon earth, it works are to perfects the flesh, but how? by judgment of the flesh through the perfect law of God found in the bible. Yes, harsh judgment of the flesh to perfect it into a better person for this earth, for this world. That is the key to power and control of false religion, the foundation stones of this world - to perfect members of a group rather that be in religion, government, and/or commerce. The power is its teaching (wine), its power to rule by disciplining the flesh into a better person so it can boast in what? The flesh and its works!

Isaiah 40:6 The voice of one saying, "Cry!" One said, "What shall I cry?" "All flesh is like grass, and all its glory is like the flower of the field.

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

Romans 7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good.

This is why so many are mislead by false religion, flesh cannot know the things of God even if it read the bible day in, and day out, the fleshly mind must produce the same effect, more weed thinking. This is why false religion a competition with other fleshly religions and/or wordly institutions, to prove it is a better earthly religion producing, and creating better people by its fruits, that is, by its works! Why? Because false religion is fleshly, its judgments comes from judging others fleshly weakness in trying, or proving it is better or more righteous than the other guy. Now stop, please take a moment a breathe here! What we will find if we love truth, this the same truth/fruit of all institution on this earth. Yes, they are all created from below, they all act with the same fleshly mind having the same trait that is why they are interchangeable, religion can go into government, and commerce into religion or government. Moreover, and be very sucessful by using the same disciplines of the flesh by rules of laws.

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

Romans 13:14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, for its lusts.

1 Corinthians 1:26 For you see your calling, brothers, that not many are wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, and not many noble;

Merit

Do you understand merit? Merit is give when we earn something by our works, flesh merit is also given by human justification. In other words, if we can justify our actions we gain merit with other humans. Fleshly merit can come by what we earn, what we own, what position of and power we are in; in what we say or don't say? Why because this is the world of weed, that is, fleshly mind think which built a system of things. This is how the world operates it is the foundation stones of the inhabit earth since Adam's fall into sin and death.

Isaiah 28:15 "Because you have said, 'We have made a covenant with death, and with Sheol are we in agreement. When the overflowing scourge passes through, it won't come to us; for we have made lies our refuge, and we have hidden ourselves under falsehood.'"

Isaiah 28:17 I will make justice the measuring line, and righteousness the plumb line. The hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters will overflow the hiding place.

It is the proving of oneself worthy of something we want. False religion gives us that merit deceiving us that we have earned a standing with God, how? By doling it out through performance of some good work for a religion in the name for God. False religion has created a golden ladder of good works into heaven the higher we go up by our works the better we are with God until we reach the top wrung of the ladder giving us enough merit to enter into the kingdom of God.

Galatians 5:9 A little yeast grows through the whole lump.

1 Corinthians 3:21 Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours,

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn't receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

One gets merit by perfecting the flesh and all its actions; this is the power of false religion. When corruption hits false religion, it must justify is bad fruit just as government does, and commerce, how? By getting rid of the problem, getting harder on the flesh by greater judgments of the flesh so it can look good in the flesh, so it will not loss merit with the world.

1Tim.1:9 as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 1:10 for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine;

Hebrews 7:19 (for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

1 Timothy 1:7 desiring to be teachers of the law, though they understand neither what they say, nor about what they strongly affirm.

Galatians 5:18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

Galatians 5:4 You are alienated from Christ, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace.

What weeds produce is more weeds they do not change because of using the bible or legislating its rules and laws. False religion steal the power of God's word written by Spirit polluting it because they must that is their species weeds, by fleshly thinking which justify its actions by competition with other fleshly mind false weed Christian's. The power is found in self-merit which is gained by building up the flesh to perform in a battle with other flesh through powerful righteous laws found in God's word the bible.

Matt.7:1 "Don't judge, so that you won't be judged.
7:2 For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you.

James 4:1 Where do wars and fightings among you come from? Don't they come from your pleasures that war in your members?
4:2 You lust, and don't have. You kill, covet, and can't obtain. You fight and make war. You don't have, because you don't ask.
4:3 You ask, and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures.
4:4 You adulterers and adulteresses, don't you know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

Undeserved Merit

God's merit is given from above, its not of this earth, as is the food feeding those with Christ merit. Let us talk about what is Christ merit. One, it is not our merit what we do in our flesh for Christ, that is the first and foremost lie of the flesh that mislead us into a false religion.

Galatians 6:13 For even they who receive circumcision don't keep the law themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may boast in your flesh.

Corinthians 10:17 But "he who boasts, let him boast in the Lord."{Jeremiah 9:24}

Merit is given us freely and undeservedly as a gift from God we do not earned it from our flesh on this earth. Not one clam will God allow fallen flesh to take credit for, for entering into a His Kingdom not made with human hands.

Daniel 2:44 In the days of those kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed, nor shall its sovereignty be left to another people; but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. 2:45 Because you saw that a stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God has made known to the king what shall happen hereafter: and the dream is certain, and its interpretation sure.

Once this truth is lost death will follow into the flesh mind that cannot be in subjection to God. God has given us merit, not by what we've done, or what we have not done, but because of what Christ has done for us. If you or me step off that stone, we will stumble into a world of religious competition in living a lie by declaring our works worthy of Christ merit.

Rom.9:9 For this is a word of promise, "At the appointed time I will come, and Sarah will have a son."{Genesis 18:10,14}
9:10 Not only so, but Rebecca also conceived by one, by our father Isaac. 9:11 For being not yet born, neither having done anything good or bad, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him who calls.

We will say as much” “we have planted ourselves and we are making our own wheat food!” The weeds produces more weed, if you can change that than you are god. But if you can't change a specie than God must feed you because he has planted you by his own hands in Spirit and truth. (wheat)

John 6:51 I am the living bread which came down out of heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. Yes, the bread which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh."

You and me, must trust God's planting, we must rest from the toil of justifying ourselves through works of the flesh which cannot rest or find peace with God upon this earth. We must have faith not in ourselves, our religion, or even words written in our bibles interpreted by the fleshly mind. We must trust in God's love to keep his promises too us. Than and only than will the words of God's bible feed and cherish us by God's Spirit from above.

John 14:17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world can't receive; for it doesn't see him, neither knows him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you.

John 14:26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.

Perfecting the Spirit

Eternal life is Spirit and truth, it is not flesh under sin. The corruption of our flesh can never be restore to perfection of sinlessness that damage has long been done, and judged dead to any good works producing life for God.

Romans 6:4 We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God is not reforming the flesh into perfection so it can be in or under his Kingdom. God is making all things new! He has killed the flesh by his judgment long ago, he has given us freely the life of his son as ours, so we can be an new person in Christ. If Adam and Eve had been perfect in Spirit the flesh would have followed and never taste sin. Both would have worked in harmony with God's Spirit producing nothing by life, because God is life.

1 John 5:20 We know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

1 John 3:6 Whoever remains in him doesn't sin. Whoever sins hasn't seen him, neither knows him.

The merit comes from Christ a spirit person whom perfects us in Spirit so we can be perfect in love. Love never fails, if we become perfect in love than there is no sin of doubting God is good and perfect in all his way nothing in the flesh can mislead us. It is a lack of faith when we don't love God as Christ did in our fallen flesh knowing we have nothing to present God accept the works of Christ based upon his merit.

Titus3:2 to speak evil of no one, not to be contentious, to be gentle, showing all humility toward all men.
3:3 For we were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. 3:4 But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love toward mankind appeared, 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, 3:6 whom he poured out on us richly, through Jesus Christ our Savior; 3:7 that, being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

It is the death of our flesh working in us that perfects our love for
God in his goodness by Spirit. We gain no merit in love, because love is given freely before we have done good or bad (merit). We can only grow in more love, if we are planted by God's Spirit because he is love.

1 John 4:17 In this love has been made perfect among us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as he is, even so are we in this world.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.

1 Peter 4:8 And above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins.

Our fallen flesh is a lie, attacking us each day with waves of doubt and fear. It is like a vast tree where the Sun passes over head causing shadows of doubt and fear to flowed are minds and hearts. We are flesh, we have a natural lust indwelling us pulling like a strong current to distrust God's love. This process is our training, it is proof God is working with us, but it is the Spirit indwelling us, that is, the comforter that speaks the truth of God loving us without our merit.

Rom.8:34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
8:36 Even as it is written, "For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter."{Psalm 44:22}
8:37 No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
8:39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

This perfection will not go undone because God planted the wheat not us. False religion plants by flesh so it must gain self-merit never trusting God completely or any human it must go like green grass in the hot sun. Subsequently, the fruit does not lie, no matter the power of its drug like fruit, the wine is bitter and anyone drinking of it will find plagues of their flesh. They will never perfect the Spirit by works of their flesh, or find leaders in the group that are perfect, they must live a lie justifying wicked and evil acts.

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 10:12 For we are not bold to number or compare ourselves with some of those who commend themselves. But they themselves, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves with themselves, are without understanding.

The pain is extreme it denies truth which brings with it every defiled corrupt thing under the Sun. False religion creates sores that cannot be healed by more bible, more religious teachings, more meeting attendance, more preaching, nothing can heal the flesh or is pain, God must through a new life, a new tree that is perfect in all its ways, Christ Jesus kill our flesh and its plagues for us!

Galatians 5:24 Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.

Let us accept the free gift of unmerited kindness we will be heal, and put into God's rest day.

John 5:24 "Most certainly I tell you, he who hears my word, and believes him who sent me, has eternal life, and doesn't come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

John.5:34 But the testimony which I receive is not from man. However, I say these things that you may be saved.

John. 5:38 You don't have his word living in you; because you don't believe him whom he sent. 5:39 "You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and these are they which testify about me. 5:40 Yet you will not come to me, that you may have life. 5:41 I don't receive glory from men.
5:42 But I know you, that you don't have God's love in yourselves.
