The book of 1 John

Chapter 3

1John3:1 Behold, how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn't know us, because it didn't know him.

How shocked would Christian's be to learn that the world does not know them, because the world did not know Christ? Just be honest, think of all the constant effort in preaching, building, good works and all the rest Christian's do to be known by the world, so what indeed was the apostle John thinking in writing such contradictory words?

John. 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, and the world didn't recognize him.
1:11 He came to his own, and those who were his own didn't receive him. 1:12 But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name:

First, what is the context, the main point of the letter of first John? who was it written to, and for what reason that would help us explain Johns strange unpracticed words in today's world?

John.1:13 who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 1:14 The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Jesus was known by the world, everyone at Christ time was speaking of what he was doing, and there is no doubt that Christ lived because even secular history from his enemies wrote about the Christ and the uproar he was causing at his time! So its not a question of being known in the flesh from a set of parents, or the things he did in his flesh, but of something the world cannot know, and what is that?

John 7:24 Don't judge according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment."

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

Christ was not of this world, although, being born a man in the flesh was not his real birth which came from his Father, when anointed by him to do the works of God. In other words, Christ was born again, into God, as part of God being directly created into as spirit son of God, his world was no longer on earth but from above in a Spirit and truth, the Father indwelt Christ, and Christ was in the Father as part of him, the world, and/or the flesh cannot know the Spirit, or the truth of the Spirit.

John 1:32 John testified, saying, "I have seen the Spirit descending like a dove out of heaven, and it remained on him.

John 1:33 I didn't recognize him, but he who sent me to baptize in water, he said to me, 'On whomever you will see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.'

John 3:5 Jesus answered, "Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born of water and spirit, he can't enter into the Kingdom of God!

John.17:22 The glory which you have given me, I have given to them; that they may be one, even as we are one;
17:23 I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that you sent me, and loved them, even as you loved me. 17:24 Father, I desire that they also whom you have given me be with me where I am, that they may see my glory, which you have given me, for you loved me before the foundation of the world.

That operation and relationship the world knows nothing about, no one can intercede into a Father son relationship with God, not unless the Father allows it to happen for his further glory. What was Christ was Gods, and what was God is Christ and his life he had personally birthed into a son of God.

John 3:35 The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into his hand.

John 5:19 Jesus therefore answered them, "Most certainly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father doing. For whatever things he does, these the Son also does likewise.

John 5:20 For the Father has affection for the Son, and shows him all things that he himself does. He will show him greater works than these, that you may marvel.

That is, the context of John's letter, nothing but the Christ and him alone as our salvation and our new birth. Thus, the world cannot know a son of God, they cannot hear their words correctly unless they themselves are anointed with the same Spirit of God to teach them the truth. Consequently, all the hard work of fleshly weed Christian's has no effect upon a son of God, it does not add to his or her new birth or teach them anything regarding their personal intimate relationship with God.

Luke 10:24 for I tell you that many prophets and kings desired to see the things which you see, and didn't see them, and to hear the things which you hear, and didn't hear them."

Luke 11:28 But he said, "On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God, and keep it."

Hebrews 3:7 Therefore, even as the Holy Spirit says, "Today if you will hear his voice.

John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

The power of the flesh exist in teaching, correcting, and educating others in building massive groups of power, so what they do as a group has recognition by others in the same world. Without the power of such an education and inculcation from the flesh, that is, the world, they are stripped of their power.

1 Peter 1:24 For, "All flesh is like grass, and all of man's glory like the flower in the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls;

Ephesians 6:12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

2 Corinthians 5:16 Therefore we know no one after the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.

Romans 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

These brothers and sisters at John's time anointed as God's children needed to get a handle on the truth, what they were anointed for and as, and forget about the world, because the world and its power was lost over the body of Christ when he was raised into the spirit world by his Father at his anointing. Christ death and resurrection confirmed what the Father has predestine in Christ before the founding of this world.

Romans 6:4 We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.

Romans 6:9 knowing that Christ, being raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no more has dominion over him!

Rom.8:29 For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."}
8:30 Whom he predestined, those he also called. Whom he called, those he also justified. Whom he justified, those he also glorified.
8:31 What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Now these brothers and sisters must know their own anointing was not a crap shoot a gamble they were predestine before the founding of the world along with Christ, what they had, was not known by this world and that is why the world did not, could not work for them as it does for false Christian's. The world of God is opposed to the flesh or this world, it does not intermingle into the world making a better yeast pie. God's contact with this world is through his anointed, and they are not know by this world because they are not part of this world anymore than Christ was. So it is their works on earth at the direction of their headship Christ Jesus that are God's works of calling home his children into a spirit born again life with him. The body of Christ is created for the body, not the world, so all the far reaching programs of weed Christian's to convert others to Christianity spreads more weeds, and when planting weeds, weeds come up not wheat.

1 John 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.

1 John 4:5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them.

1 John 3:13 Don't be surprised, my brothers, if the world hates you.

1 Corinthians 6:19 Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own.

1 Corinthians 12:12 For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.

2Cor.3:1 Are we beginning again to commend ourselves? Or do we need, as do some, letters of commendation to you or from you?
3:2 You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men;
3:3 being revealed that you are a letter of Christ, served by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tablets of stone, but in tablets that are hearts of flesh.
3:4 Such confidence we have through Christ toward God;
3:5 not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God;
3:6 who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

God is not dealing with the flesh, it was judged throughout history of mankind as of having no value at all when it comes to knowing truth and Spirit of God's mind, and his works. Those loving the world are not part of God that is a cold hard truth these brothers and sisters must understand, or they would never know the love of the Father.

1 John 2:5 But whoever keeps his word, God's love has most certainly been perfected in him. This is how we know that we are in him:

1 John 2:15 Don't love the world, neither the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father's love isn't in him.

1 John 3:1 Behold, how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn't know us, because it didn't know him.

Not Yet Revealed

^***1John.3:2 Beloved, now we are children of God, and it is not yet revealed what we will be. But we know that, when he is revealed, we will be like him; for we will see him just as he is.[/b]

How do we walk? Is it not by faith? Why indeed has our Father allowed us an invisible relationship with him, is this some grand experiment? Is God hoping we will fail in our relationship with him, has he set upon us as son's of the kingdom a test so difficult that only a special few endowed with wisdom can obtain to?

1Cor. 1:24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.
1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
1:26 For you see your calling, brothers, that not many are wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, and not many noble;
1:27 but God chose the foolish things of the world that he might put to shame those who are wise. God chose the weak things of the world, that he might put to shame the things that are strong;
1:28 and God chose the lowly things of the world, and the things that are despised, and the things that are not, that he might bring to nothing the things that are:
1:29 that no flesh should boast before God.
1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption: 1:31 that, according as it is written, "He who boasts, let him boast in the Lord."{Jeremiah 9:24}

Did Adam see God each day, was a perfect man given sight worship so that a great king was set upon a throne and he would go before him each day in fear taking his orders? Some would have us believe the only way a person can be perfect and serve God is by sight that is the highest point of a perfect relationship, and without sight worship something lacks good for those loving God, something is missing, something that will in time cause a stumbling into sin and the corruption that comes from sin.

Matthew 8:10 When Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to those who followed, "Most certainly I tell you, I haven't found so great a faith, not even in Israel.

Matthew 21:21 Jesus answered them, "Most certainly I tell you, if you have faith, and don't doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it would be done.

Acts 26:18 to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in me.'

That one thought is the seed of all false religion no matter if its a corporation or and individual pastor of a church without some form of sight worship people just can't serve God. Satan himself knew that weakness and he gave mankind in time the reflection of invisible wicked spirit governments in flesh and stone. The nation of Israel clamored for a visible king, it is the ways of the flesh without sight it cannot obey!

Hebrews 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.

Romans 8:4 that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

Yes, water follows the course of least resistance and so does our fallen flesh it will always bring pure worship into idol worship just as what was happening at the apostle John's time. Sadly and happily some of God's anointed were willing to set themselves up as idols to please the people like Arron built for the God's people a golden calf to worship while Moses was out of sight as their leader upon Mount Sinai. There is nothing new under the Sun when it comes to the fallen flesh.

1 Corinthians 1:29 that no flesh should boast before God.

Galatians 6:8 For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

But there is something new in God's creation a small flock that are created to worship by truth and Spirit without sight, instead in Spirit lead and directed lives. Thus, according to God the perfect form of worship is not by seeing him or Christ, or even each others, but to be in truth of him by contact with the Spirit. So many put upon each other, God, their lackings blaming God if they are not in constant contact with those of the same faith, if not minister to constantly by someone one of their faith, if not text messaging someone or talking on their phone, yes, contact physically or voice contact is the key to remove the fears of our flesh.

1 Peter 1:24 For, "All flesh is like grass, and all of man's glory like the flower in the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls;

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

1 Peter 4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind; for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin;

The norm the depth of fleshes water is faith by sight or touch which is no faith at all when compared against the truth of the Spirit we are to worship in. Such is the world to make God's new creation into the world is not new at all it is old permeated with yeast of the old false religion.

Levitius 6:16 That which is left of it Aaron and his sons shall eat. It shall be eaten without yeast in a holy place. They shall eat it in the court of the Tent of Meeting

1 Corinthians 5:7 Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.

1 Corinthians 5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old yeast, neither with the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

What is lacking for those in Christ? Now stop, don't be offended? If we are longing, lacking, do we know the truth of flesh and Spirit? Do we honestly know the flesh and its needs, and what the Spirit of God actually is? Saying a word does not satisfy the needs of our flesh it does not kill the flesh and its power, but let also be remind neither does it make those graving and feeling into Spirit. Actually, what is shocking for most of God's anointed our worship does not kill the power of our flesh, it does not clean it up making it into a perfect flesh that is now acceptable to God. No! That is the problem and the core of false religion. What truth and Spirit worship does is allow us all those feeling and craving of our flesh while suffering in our flesh in faith, but faith in what? That God somehow is condoning our evil, not at all?

Romans 7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good.

Faith in God, faith in the life of Christ Jesus, not of and in ourselves, we are told by truth and Spirit whats in the flesh, can we believe it? No! We identify with the flesh we are left in the flesh, it is only by faith we can be saved not by feelings of our flesh. What if you actually knew that all that in our flesh is opposed to God that nothing in our flesh serves God?

John 3:19 This is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil.

John 3:20 For everyone who does evil hates the light, and doesn't come to the light, lest his works would be exposed.

Galatians 4:29 But as then, he who was born according to the flesh persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, so also it is now.

Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.

Would it now change you into a better Christian's a better sinner in the flesh? No! It would plague you day and night without faith, which is, truth and Spirit that Christ saved us, and no matter how perfect we might imagine our flesh is it will not please God now or in the future. That message is not a winner for the flesh and those seeking truth and Spirit in their flesh it does not exist!

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

In our needs, lacks, and fears of our flesh we have no idea who Christ is, we may know another brother and sister in their flesh as they are, but not Christ. Christ has completed our faith in him, he is the finish work of God we are pattern after rather we understand this or not the Spirit never changes it is our flesh that changes and losses sight of truth and Spirit, it is our flesh that lacks, and its is our flesh that gets off track.

1 Corinthians 15:50 Now I say this, brothers,{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."} that flesh and blood can't inherit the Kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.

Heb. 1:1 God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,
1:2 has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds.
1:3 His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself made purification for our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

To see Christ as he is, we must be without flesh, we must be in Spirit, that is, God's who is love, where Christ resides for us, where no fears of the flesh exist in perfect union; is that possible for our flesh? No! You see, the new creation has a seed of Christ given each one of us that seed cannot be corrupted by the flesh, it cannot fail, it cannot grow old, or died like our flesh that seed is our new life one we cannot even fully know or appreciate, but it is at work always in us until the Lord calls us home. The Father doesn't sleep or grow old, he works, and is working in us, never ceasing in setting the creation free from the enslavement of the flesh and its corruption right down into soul and spirit separating the bone of flesh where the meat attaches to the bone nothing hidden of the flesh and its corruption will last or not be exposed in the eyes of Christ our high priest.

Heb. 4:12 For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
4:13 There is no creature that is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
4:14 Having then a great high priest, who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold tightly to our confession.
4:15 For we don't have a high priest who can't be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.
4:16 Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need.

We are under going surgery of the masters hand we are under the flesh removing the spirit from its powerful corruption, can a person see the surgeon clearly, can they know the surgeon under pain, or in sickness, in suffering, but some day we will know him fully the person in charge of our faith in truth and Spirit, what he did, in every perfect move to save us? Then we will say, believe me, we will say: “You alone are worthy, you alone conquered this world, and perfect us in faith, who will not worship you?”

Rom.7:24 What a wretched man I am! Who will deliver me out of the body of this death? 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ, our Lord! So then with the mind, I myself serve God's law, but with the flesh, the sin's law.
Revelation 5:2 I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, "Who is worthy to open the book, and to break its seals?"

Revelation 5:4 And I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open the book, or to look in it.

Revelation 5:9 They sang a new song, saying, "You are worthy to take the book, and to open its seals: for you were killed, and bought us for God with your blood, out of every tribe, language, people, and nation.

Revelation 6:2 And behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it had a bow. A crown was given to him, and he came forth conquering, and to conquer.

Rev.11:16 The twenty-four elders, who sit on their thrones before God's throne, fell on their faces and worshiped God,
11:17 saying: "We give you thanks, Lord God, the Almighty, the one who is and who was{TR adds "and who is coming"}; because you have taken your great power, and reigned.

Purifies Himself

****1John.3:3 Everyone who has this hope set on him purifies himself, even as he is pure. 3:4 Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness. 3:5 You know that he was revealed to take away our sins, and in him is no sin.

Let us understand the pettiness and smallest of the fleshly mind in reading the three verses above? First, the flesh mind will run into the thought of purifying itself which will then confuse the whole subject the apostle John was speaking about in context to his letter, not his verse, but letter as a whole to the anointed brothers and sisters at his time.

Romans 7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good.

How does the flesh purify itself, when nothing good dwells in our flesh accord to God's word? How does one purify themselves by works of law, impossible! Finally, how does one purify themselves without faith in the blood of Christ? So is it by works or grace? Is it by our own effort or faith in Christ?

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ
'
Now this is the context of John letter, one cannot purify themselves at all we are not in self salvation as some were teaching at his time, all sin, any sin is lawlessness that is not a glowing endorsement of the human race that all sinned and fall short of God's glory. We are all lawless from the truth of God righteousness which is without sin.

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

But Christ came to take away our sin! Now stop and reason if you live in your body does it ever stop sinning wouldn't it be nice if it would how comfortable life would be? But we know the truth, why would we lie if we speak of truth, of being in the truth, it is because all flesh lies? Now we are getting on track here, we could not stop sinning on our best day, how can we not sin?

1 John 2:21 I have not written to you because you don't know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth.

1 John 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie, and don't tell the truth.

Hebrews 6:18 that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to take hold of the hope set before us.

This is the reality of life, it is the simple reality that John was teaching and these brothers and sisters should have known, don't self delude ourselves with false reasoning because we are trying to be a better person and not sin so much. Without Christ we don't have a chance of being favored by God, without Christ giving us his life, his merit of a righteous sinless life as our life, our substitute, we are dead to any hope of knowing God this is the truth we keep by faith and that faith in Christ life purifies us.

Hebrews 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.

Romans 11:20 True; by their unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by your faith. Don't be conceited, but fear;

Now we have the life of Christ because his life purchased us from our deserved judgment of death in sin, we become new, alive in the life of Christ Jesus that makes us sinless before God that is the only hope, truth that actually has cleanse us from all sin which any sin is lawlessness something not in God, or Christ. In Christ by faith, and him in us is the truth, and Spirit that cleanse us from all sin. Teaching or preaching anything less is a sin, it is death, and ends in lack of faith placing faith in our flesh to save us, which flesh cannot please God or know God, if we believe our bible?

1 John 3:10 In this the children of God are revealed, and the children of the devil. Whoever doesn't do righteousness is not of God, neither is he who doesn't love his brother.

1 Peter 2:24 who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.

Hebrews 5:13 For everyone who lives on milk is not experienced in the word of righteousness, for he is a baby.

Philippians 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

Philippians 1:11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

2 Corinthians 9:10 Now may he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food, supply and multiply your seed for sowing, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;

2 Corinthians 5:21 For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

1 Corinthians 1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:

Romans 10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith says this, "Don't say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'{Deuteronomy 30:12} (that is, to bring Christ down);

Romans 10:10 For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 8:10 If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness.

****1John.3:6 Whoever remains in him doesn't sin. Whoever sins hasn't seen him, neither knows him.

Who of us does not sin? What is the apostle John speaking here, babble? To compound this problem further leaving us hopeless, if we sin, we haven't seen him, or neither do we know him!

Romans 7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good.

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Here is the starting point for anyone of us thinking we can make ourselves righteous by a religion, or following some rule within our bibles, because none of us stop sinning. We are dead in the water so to speak before we even start to serve God.

Ephesians 2:1 You were made alive when you were dead in transgressions and sins,

How can we teach others about God from some religion if we can't stop sinning? Do we see that? Lets not lie to ourselves and confess we don't sin! If we don't know him, or we can't see him Christ as he actually is, how can we teach or preach about him? Moreover, if we can't even unravel the apostles John's words above for our students, why should we teach others? Ignoring John's words, avoiding them is not coming to the light, now is it?

John 3:21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God."

Sin is darkness, it separates us from the light, who is God, and his Son Christ Jesus, so how does a blind person teach sight to others? How does darkness teach us light? Furthermore, how can a person put any faith in men to save us, when all fall short of God's glory because they have all sinned?

Romans 2:19 and are confident that you yourself are a guide of the blind, a light to those who are in darkness.

Bottom line, and never move away from this bottom line our salvation depends upon God's undeserved kindness, not our good efforts or how much we love God ways, we cannot, we cannot save ourselves or know God unless he is moved from his own heart to help us not be a sinner. This is why when a person, religion, or organized group of people think they are speaking for God and they never speak of unmerited kindness of God, or grace, and/or undeserved kindness they believe they have saved themselves by not trying to sin in leading a good life by application of the bible in their lives which is a lie!

John 15:3 You are already pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.

Proverbs 16:2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but Yahweh weighs the motives.

Proverbs 20:9 Who can say, "I have made my heart pure. I am clean and without sin?"

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

If the last thing on the tongue is God's love, then we are not living or understanding undeserved kindness as God's most, and greatest gift given to us freely. If the thoughts of research, association with our group, its books, and teaching is all we talk about, we have missed the undeserved kindness of God that without we cannot know him or see him at all!

Revelation 22:21 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with all the saints. Amen.

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men who crept in secretly, even those who were long ago written about for this condemnation: ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying our only Master, God, and Lord, Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 5:12 Through Silvanus, our faithful brother, as I consider him, I have written to you briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God in which you stand.

1 Peter 4:10 As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the grace of God in its various forms.

James 4:6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."{Proverbs 3:34}

Hebrews 13:9 Don't be carried away by various and strange teachings, for it is good that the heart be established by grace, not by food, through which those who were so occupied were not benefited.

That is the point of John compounding his statement so those seeking glory through men and their works could not worm out of; leaving any honest hearted person profoundly shocked into where they were headed in following some person claiming to know the scriptures, and frankly it should shock us back into a reality that none of us can stop sinning unless God himself acts from his own kindness.

Rom. 7:24 What a wretched man I am! Who will deliver me out of the body of this death?
7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ, our Lord! So then with the mind, I myself serve God's law, but with the flesh, the sin's law.

The gift of God is open to all of us, not through us to others, we do not give anyone a gift of God by any teaching, now do we? Why then boast in a religion as truth? The gift of God greatest love for us is his Son Christ Jesus who's life, and righteousness redeems us from judgment deserved for sinning. Now remembering sin is not little things, it cuts us off from a personal relationship with God and his Son that we cannot know by teaching from the bible or a religion unless we can be made into a non-sinner by God's power.

Titus. 3:3 For we were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
3:4 But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love toward mankind appeared,
3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,
3:6 whom he poured out on us richly, through Jesus Christ our Savior;
3:7 that, being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
3:8 This saying is faithful, and concerning these things I desire that you affirm confidently, so that those who have believed God may be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men;

The power to take away our sins is in the indestructible life of Christ Jesus not anyone, anything, or any bible! That is why we teach nothing but the Christ ,and not ourselves, and our glorious work we are doing for God on earth, or what a religion is doing, none of that is God's power for sinners, none of that teaches us the truth of Spirit in Christ. If we are not leading those we teach to the source that takes away sins, so they can come to know God, we are teaching falsehoods that will end in our own judgment of stumbling others, which ends in a milestone upon our own neck.

1 Corinthians 1:3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 1:7 so that you come behind in no gift; waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ; 1:8 who will also confirm you until the end, blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 1:10 Now I beg you, brothers,{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."} through the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

1 Corinthians 1:12 Now I mean this, that each one of you says, "I follow Paul," "I follow Apollos," "I follow Cephas," and, "I follow Christ."

1 Corinthians 1:24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.

Matthew 18:7 "Woe to the world because of occasions of stumbling! For it must be that the occasions come, but woe to that person through whom the occasion comes!

Christ life is given freely so our sins are not accounted against us, once for all time, not some time, on a good day, why? Because it is God the Kings legal judgment that once Christ shed his blood as our passover lamb it was enough power to redeem the whole human race forever. Those that set up works of law religion by doling out forgiveness by measure, that is, by how you meet some standard of their religion and/or their own judgment withholding the free gift of God's undeserved kindness from others for payment. They like Judas covet the treasure box for themselves, those taking God's greatest treasure to mankind and doling it out are self-seeking and self-serving like Judas whom deny the power of Christ for money.

Matt.18:22 Jesus said to him, "I don't tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven.
18:23 Therefore the Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king, who wanted to reconcile accounts with his servants.
18:24 When he had begun to reconcile, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.{Ten thousand talents represents an extremely large sum of money, equivalent to about 60,000,000 denarii, where one denarius was typical of one day's wages for agricultural labor.}
18:25 But because he couldn't pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, with his wife, his children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.
18:26 The servant therefore fell down and kneeled before him, saying, 'Lord, have patience with me, and I will repay you all!'
18:27 The lord of that servant, being moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.
18:28 "But that servant went out, and found one of his fellow servants, who owed him one hundred denarii,{100 denarii was about one sixtieth of a talent.} and he grabbed him, and took him by the throat, saying, 'Pay me what you owe!'
18:29 "So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, 'Have patience with me, and I will repay you!'
18:30 He would not, but went and cast him into prison, until he should pay back that which was due.
18:31 So when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were exceedingly sorry, and came and told to their lord all that was done.
18:32 Then his lord called him in, and said to him, 'You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt, because you begged me.
18:33 Shouldn't you also have had mercy on your fellow servant, even as I had mercy on you?'
18:34 His lord was angry, and delivered him to the tormentors, until he should pay all that was due to him.
18:35 So my heavenly Father will also do to you, if you don't each forgive your brother from your hearts for his misdeeds."

A lack of faith in the power of Christ life which all false religion teaches by placing power in their own understanding of God's word robs the Christ as thieves for personal glory in making their own flesh clean by works of law. No man, no angel, no religion can take away God's gift of love for us, unless we don't love God for it. It should be enough to have that gift, not to dimishes it for mundane things people do in their flesh as making them a better person a so called less sinner that misses the mark of God's glory Christ Jesus!

Rom. 10:2 For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.
10:3 For being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn't subject themselves to the righteousness of God.
10:4 For Christ is the fulfillment{or, completion, or end} of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
10:5 For Moses writes about the righteousness of the law, "The one who does them will live by them."{Leviticus 18:5}
10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith says this, "Don't say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'{Deuteronomy 30:12} (that is, to bring Christ down);
10:7 or, 'Who will descend into the abyss?'{Deuteronomy 30:13} (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead.)"
10:8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart;"{Deuteronomy 30:14} that is, the word of faith, which we preach:
10:9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10:10 For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Rom.8:31 What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
8:32 He who didn't spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things?
8:33 Who could bring a charge against God's chosen ones? It is God who justifies.
8:34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
8:36 Even as it is written, "For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter."{Psalm 44:22}
8:37 No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
8:39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Let No One Lead You Astray[/b]

1John.3:7 Little children, let no one lead you astray. He who does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

Lead astray where? Lead away from who? How does one do righteousness if they are not righteous, Can the Devil do righteousness? Could Adam and Eve do righteousness after sinning? These are some serious fundamental truth's we should ask if we are to even understand what the apostle John is speaking to here?

Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.

When we take a verse and make it stand alone, dismissing the entire context of John's letter we are not seeking truth, what we are doing is looking for an answer to uphold a thought we want to hear and teach, which we all know is an agenda!

Such actions are not of the Spirit of God, those action are of the flesh, that lust to be right and in winning a fleshly debate, which is just the opposite of the Spirit that is first of all found in peace. But lets us focus on the entire purpose of John's letter.

John 4:23 But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to be his worshippers.

Who did righteousness, who was it that fulfilled God's righteous law perfectly, that is, without sinning against YHWH righteous law? Now that is are starting point, not one person under the law, not one prophet, or king, from the least to the greatest was proven righteous by their actions under the righteous law of God. But why? All sinned and fail short of God's sinless glory, isn't that true?

1 Peter 2:24 who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.

Only one, Christ was God's sinless glory who the law of God could not condemn as a sinner. Yes, one, the Christ, no other human ever except Adam, until he sinned. Now let us not be confused about the truth, if one sins, they cannot be called a perfect man that never sinned ever! Sin cannot be worked out of us, by something we can do, that is, now listen very carefully, that is, why Christ had to died for us. Yes, we, none of us could be righteous as Christ was righteous because we have all sinned. We cannot change a sinner into a non sinner because we practice a religion, or read our bibles, we cannot wash a sins away by works of law, or being good enough, Sadly, so very few can even believe that, and that is why John's words cause those of the flesh to try to make themselves a righteous person by works of law. Yes, just as the Jews did whom taught and thought they were righteous by their religious practices.
Romans 10:3 For being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn't subject themselves to the righteousness of God.

Romans 10:4 For Christ is the fulfillment{or, completion, or end} of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

He is righteous, Christ, not us, we are made righteous, by his righteousness, and in no other way. So lets not lie that is John's point as many where saying they could make themselves righteous by their teachings, their actions, their practicing the law and its commandments. Lie!

2 Corinthians 5:21 For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

We must swallow our pride we are righteous because of Christ righteousness, nothing else. But who were those John was speaking to here? The body of Christ, his living body as one body under the righteousness of Christ, not their own separate righteousness as some apostasy were teachings. Anyone telling you something else is misleading you into another body, not Christ, but into a place that makes us unrighteous already proven by God's righteous law. That is exactly what the Devil did to Adam and Eve telling them there was another righteousness that was more, or better than God's righteousness. But then as in John's day it was proven Satan lied and is a sinner in his own righteousness which is corruption, not Christ who proves to be God's glory without corruption. Where else can we go?

2 Corinthians 11:15 It is no great thing therefore if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

Satan will if it were possible mislead God's chosen ones, into a body of darkness and corruption, how? By pride of self righteousness by works of law, causing many to follow their acts of loose conduct by appearing as though they are angels of light, angels of righteousness by their works. All sin is lawlessness, all sin is loose conduct if a person is made righteous by Christ righteousness.

Ephesians 4:24 and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.

Ephesians 5:9 for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.

Philippians 1:11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Philippians 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

1 Timothy 6:11 But you, man of God, flee these things, and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and gentleness.

Light or Darkness?

**** 1John.3:8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1John. 3:9 Whoever is born of God doesn't commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can't sin, because he is born of God.

Can the Devil stop sinning? All those belonging to
the Devil as their ruler, the ruler of this world, can they stop sinning? That is the mystery John present here, bold, in the light, no place in between, no middle ground “Yes or no!”

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

1 John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

Who created us according to their spirit, God or the Devil? Can we go beyond that? Is there another place for God's new creation, created by God that we can go to, without sin? Can we go to a religion and perform good works so we can born ourselves new in Christ? No! We cannot, we are either born of God, or we are born of the Devils spirit of living in sin.

1 John 2:29 If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of him.

1 John 3:9 Whoever is born of God doesn't commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can't sin, because he is born of God.

Now Satan has been sinning from the beginning when becoming Satan the Devil, he cannot stop, but let us recall, call to mind that Satan cloaks himself in righteousness, as a son of light. Now we must stop and ask how can he appear righteous and not be righteous, if we can answer that simple profound question we will come upon the counsel the apostle John was giving to God's anointed the new creation in his letter to them!

2 Corinthians 11:14 And no wonder, for even Satan masquerades as an angel of light.

The whole point of John's letter is to remind each of us, any righteousness outside of Christ righteousness is not righteousness, it is self righteousness which present itself as an angel of light! Did Jesus appear righteous in his flesh? If we can honestly without prejudice from our religion answer that question we will find another key to understand why the sheep and goats did not know when they had done good to one of Christ brothers?

Acts 8:33 In his humiliation, his judgment was taken away. Who will declare His generation? For his life is taken from the earth."{Isaiah 53:7,8}

Isa. 53:1 Who has believed our message? To whom has the arm of Yahweh been revealed? 53:2 For he grew up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no form nor comeliness. When we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. 53:3 He was despised, and rejected by men; a man of suffering, and acquainted with disease. He was despised as one from whom men hide their face; and we didn't respect him.
53:4 Surely he has borne our sickness, and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted.

Christ did not appear righteous and a son's of light, he appeared cursed, plagued by God, as a sheep lead to the slaughter carrying our sins. Where Satan sets himself up as light, Christ took the humiliation for his Father's love to free us from sin. Satan fall was because at all cost he wanted to appear anything but humiliated before flesh or spirit.

Proverbs 16:18 Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.

Now we have context, flesh, proud flesh that fights to make itself appear righteous and beautiful before others, that is false religion at it core. Those that are tough on removing the filth from the flesh appear to be righteous as lights to others, but they are not in Christ righteousness or our they humiliated in their flesh as are the whole body of Christ since its judgment was taken away as Christ was taken away two thousand years ago.

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

Matthew 23:27 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitened tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but inwardly are full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Romans 7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

Is looking good in the flesh more important than being in Christ without the flesh? That is the separation point for all those born again into Christ righteousness, having none of their own. What are they looking for, a better place, a better appearance to others, a religion that gives them meaning in their flesh on earth for a new life in the flesh to be like the rest, or the Christ?

That was the simple question two thousand years ago, as it is now!
What are we honestly seeking, have you been asking?

1 John 4:6 We are of God. He who knows God listens to us. He who is not of God doesn't listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

1 John 4:13 By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.

Revelation 2:7 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of my God.

Philippians 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

Whoever Doesn't do Righteousness is Not of God

**** 1John 3:10 In this the children of God are revealed, and the children of the devil. Whoever doesn't do righteousness is not of God, neither is he who doesn't love his brother.

Who is righteous? Well, do you believe God's word the bible? It says, none, not one is righteous among mankind, no not one! But let us not stop here, if we do not do righteousness, we don't love our brother, what a mouthful – hum? Isn't that really compounding the issues of righteousness? Well, not loving our brother puts us in with the Devil and Cain according to the inspired apostle John!

Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.

1 John 3:12 unlike Cain, who was of the evil one, and killed his brother. Why did he kill him? Because his works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

So lets get the context of the entire letter of first John, not a verse, not a book, but the letter of first John. How does one do righteousness, when we have no righteousness this is important question because its is the fundamental truth of God's word? We don't have righteousness, and we can't get it by our works. Moreover, if we teach contrary to that truth we don't love God or our brother.

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

One is righteous, no other man was found among the son's of mankind to redeem us from unrighteousness. Now we are on track, sin, all sin is unrighteous, so all sinners are unrighteous. Moreover, if we teach we are righteous by applying the bible in our life, we are a liar, and we don't love our brother. Furthermore, the truth is not in us. Wow! But that is the whole context of John's letter, is it not?

1 John 3:8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

1 John 3:4 Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness.

1 John 3:5 You know that he was revealed to take away our sins, and in him is no sin.

We cannot do righteousness without having Christ life given us, by the gift of undeserved kindness, Nor can we have it because we belong to a religion, now can we? No! If we love our brother that is the truth we share, teaching and abiding in, why? Its very simple, Christ is the truth, he is our righteousness, so then and only then can we love the brothers as Christ loves us! That is the truth that kills self-righteousness found in our flesh, that is the power of God's kingdom that makes us pleasing to God, do we add, do we teach more then the Christ as righteousness? Then we are not doing righteous as he is righteous, that is a fact, it is the opposites of the truth, which is found in God's anointed, the truth in them is the Christ, Christ is the truth, the way and life. Any that do not do righteousness, not the righteousness of trying to keep perfectly the commandments, while living a lie, a pseudo righteousness in making a pleasing appearance in our flesh, but true righteousness, the Christ, those not indwelt with Christ are no our brothers or do they love the brotherhood of Christ body members.

1 Corinthians 5:7 Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.

Philippians 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

Our sins are taken away by one that is righteous, all stem from one, one seed. One righteousness.

Ephesians 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you also were called in one hope of your calling;

Galatians 3:20 Now a mediator is not between one, but God is one.

1 Corinthians 12:13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all given to drink into one Spirit.

Competing In Works of Law

1John. 3:11 For this is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another; 3:12 unlike Cain, who was of the evil one, and killed his brother. Why did he kill him? Because his works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

From the beginning of man on earth there has never been works of law that a person could buy favor with God fo; not even Cain who tried, and was reproved by God for a sacrifice he thought was better than his brother Abel.

Ephesians 4:7 But to each one of us was the grace given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Look at the history of the bible every time a person judges their faith by another human on earth doing as the world does, which is, think “how could God reject me, my sacrifice is better than his?” Watch out!

2 Corinthians 10:12 For we are not bold to number or compare ourselves with some of those who commend themselves. But they themselves, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves with themselves, are without understanding.

God is not a competition, he is love, and that is the only gift we can give back to God that is clean and pure worship, God owes us nothing but love, we measure out what has been measure to us; that is a divine truth of God – love!

Matt.7:2 For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you.

The problem was for the brothers and sister back at John's time they were competing by works of law, just as it is in all false religion today. Setting up a system to judge the faith of others the same grand mistake Cain made judging the faith of his brother Able, by his own works. Love is faith when it comes to the God whom defines himself as love, anything less than love, is an evil heart to God.

1Cor. 13:1 If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don't have love, I have become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal.
13:2 If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don't have love, I am nothing.
13:3 If I dole out all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don't have love, it profits me nothing.

Now stop and think? What did the very works of law prove to any honest hearted person? It proved all have fallen short of the glory of God that there was not one righteous man all sinned, why? Because we all have evil in our hearts (sin). Toward, something, someone, right?

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;

So competing against another person who falls short of God's glory by trying to outshine them is one more evil according to God. God standards are from above, not below in looking at others flesh, correct? How can brothers or sisters come up when looking at standards that fall short of God's glory?

1Cor.3:1 Brothers, I couldn't speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly, as to babies in Christ. 3:2 I fed you with milk, not with meat; for you weren't yet ready. Indeed, not even now are you ready, 3:3 for you are still fleshly. For insofar as there is jealousy, strife, and factions among you, aren't you fleshly, and don't you walk in the ways of men?

Philippians 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

They cannot, Christ is raised, he is seated above all the lying corrupted values found in every part of Satan system of things, we are raised up if we are in Christ, far above all human authority, we don't need to have someone teach us right from wrong in Christ we have the very life of Christ indwelling us which is God's righteousness. We don't need to have are flesh pounded with constant reminders of its evil, our flesh is dead in Christ, we know nothing good dwells in it, we are raised by Spirit separating us from our flesh, by God own judgment of it, as of no value at all! Why then would we compete with other in the flesh, unless we really don't have the Spirit of God?

Romans 4:25 who was delivered up for our trespasses, and was raised for our justification.

Romans 6:4 We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.

The message is clear if we are raised with Christ we are to love our brothers not compete in works of law with them, we are not, never justified in our flesh, it is dead, of no value at all, how can we try to be better than our brothers valueless flesh then think we have a better sacrifice than him?

Romans 8:34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

1 Corinthians 15:17 If Christ has not been raised, your faith is vain; you are still in your sins.

Ephesians 1:20 which he worked in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places,

Ephesians 2:6 and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

Passing Out of Death Into Life

****1John 3:14 We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. He who doesn't love his brother remains in death.

Is God the God of the living or dead? What is John point here because Christian's are often violent as history has shown? Many have thought I love my brothers and I prove it by disciplining them. Still others have thought, making them keep the commandments prove I love them!

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 4:15 but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ;

First, John speaks specially to a small group of people, who are born again as God's new creation, born from what into what is the real question? The entire life and process of a new creation stems from one thing and what is that? An indestructible life, not a destructible life, so is God the God of the living or dead?

1 John 5:20 We know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

Matthew 22:32 'I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?'{Exodus 3:6} God is not the God of the dead, but of the living."

These brothers and sisters were where as the new creation? They were in Christ Jesus the indestructible life who is their new creation all stemming from one life. Christ is in who imagine God's, and what is God, love! Now we have the context of John's words in this part of his letter, if they were in Christ, then they are in God, being Christ is the perfect image of God who is love. They had past out of death, their old life, they had been put to death in that old life and made new in Christ life, an indestructible life.

Hebrews 7:16 who has been made, not after the law of a fleshly commandment, but after the power of an endless life:

Heb.1:1 God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,
1:2 has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds.
1:3 His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself made purification for our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God, and knows God.

In that condition they were walking in love, light, and Christ, so they loved their brothers and sisters. False religion has it one hundred and eight degrees backwards as some of those at John's time was trying to bring into the body of Christ false teaching of yeast. They like false religion today make it about one thing, the flesh, what the flesh can do to please God. Nothing at all! Not one thing, the flesh, the old life which is of this world, and not the new heavens cannot please God, its that simple. God is not part of this world, but he did create the new heavens once he made Christ into an indestructible life as the new heavens where by Christ righteousness all become righteous.

Revelation 21:5 He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." He said, "Write, for these words of God are faithful and true."

2 Peter 3:13 But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.

Hebrews 10:20 by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

Colossians 3:10 and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator.

Ephesians 4:24 and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.

If we thinking it our glowing love or righteousness John is speaking to here we are in the flesh. John taught truth, not the lie, the truth is not about works of law, that is, self-righteousness, something we do in our flesh to make ourselves appear righteous to men and woman on earth, by acting like we are love, instead of being in love, God, and knowing God because his Spirit teaches us, translates us into love by being in the life of Christ, the new creation, and the new heavens.

John 6:63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

Romans 7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good.

1 Peter 2:24 who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.

Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

In Christ is no flesh, which can't please God anyway, in Christ is eternal life we have by being in him. We are not walking in love by punishing the flesh in some false religion, or by being tough on flesh, we are in Christ by God's love, which is a undeserved kindness, we love the brothers if we stay in Christ, because they are part of us, as we are part of the body of Christ, where all are made righteous by Christ righteousness.

John.15:1 "I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer.
15:2 Every branch in me that doesn't bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 15:3 You are already pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 15:4 Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can't bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

1Cor.3:21 Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours, 3:22 whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come. All are yours,
3:23 and you are Christ's, and Christ is God's.

Whoever Hates His Brother

****1John. 3:15 Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life remaining in him.

Here we have to speak plain hard truth for most of us to get the point of John's letter. Do humans have eternal life dwelling in them? No! They may think about eternal life, love the idea that God gives those whom love him eternal life. But John here is point specific in speaking to a group of person having eternal life dwelling in them, and who is that group he speaks to?

John.17:23 I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that you sent me, and loved them, even as you loved me.

That group is God's children, they have the “eternal” living in them, as part of his body members. Yes, Christ Jesus, which is, the whole point and theme of John's letter. They were the light, they were in God's love, they are sinless because of Christ life indwelling them and they were personally taught by God's Holy Spirit, which is the truth unlike any other group of God people in any other time in human history.

John.17:25 Righteous Father, the world hasn't known you, but I knew you; and these knew that you sent me.

1 Peter 1:4 to an incorruptible and undefiled inheritance that doesn't fade away, reserved in Heaven for you,

Without Christ life indwelling them they are in darkness, they are not walking in love, because in Christ is God's love, that is, being in Christ teaches them the truth of God from Christ love for his Father. So leaving the Christ into works of law they no longing love their brothers, but why?

1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. He who doesn't love his brother remains in death.

Ephesians 3:17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love.

Colossians 1:13 who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love;

Because in Christ is part of intimate group called the body of Christ, how does on hate his own body? No! We feed and cherish it just as Christ does his own body. There is no division by rules, or doctrine that divides the body into groups, into some better, and some worst that is not a body at all! The rule of the body is God's love for the body.

Colossians 2:2 that their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love, and gaining all riches of the full assurance of understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ,

It is the flesh that divides, not God's Spirit, it is the flesh that makes judgments of death for religious people! By God's laws, God's commandments, God's righteousness. But the key to understanding John's words is found in the “eternal”. Yes, the eternal the very thought of being indwell with the eternal life of Christ should teach us something should it not?

1 John 2:20 You have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all have knowledge.{Or, "know what is true." Or, "know all things."}

1 John 2:27 As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don't need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.

To have eternal life, and these brothers of Christ did, because he is the eternal, and he was in them, and they were in him. That would mean they were without sin. In other words, without the judgments of sin. Now stop and think of that for a moment, to be in the eternal one there could be no sin, or at least not be judges for sins of our flesh any longer, but why?

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

John 6:63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

Romans 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were through the law, worked in our members to bring forth fruit to death.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

It is because the flesh cannot stop sinning and if we say it can by human works we are a liar that's what John telling us. So why would anyone judge a member of their own body with different rules than they themselves are not being judge by? Moreover, what would they be doing according to John? They would be a murder of their brother, and if they are a murder of their own body, the eternal does not dwell in them.

Matt.5:21 "You have heard that it was said to the ancient ones, 'You shall not murder;'{Exodus 20:13} and 'Whoever shall murder shall be in danger of the judgment.' 5:22 But I tell you, that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause{NU omits "without a cause".} shall be in danger of the judgment; and whoever shall say to his brother, 'Raca{"Raca" is an Aramaic insult, related to the word for "empty" and conveying the idea of empty-headedness.}!' shall be in danger of the council; and whoever shall say, 'You fool!' shall be in danger of the fire of Gehenna.{or, Hell}
5:23 "If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you,
5:24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

1John. 3:15 Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life remaining in him.

That is precisely the point Christ made to the legal attorneys of faith at his time, if we had hate in our hearts towards our brothers we already murder them in God's judgment of us. Don't think here we have to do the physical act of murder to kill our brother. All we need do is apply laws of the flesh, going back to judgment of the flesh to kill them out of Christ. Why?

Romans 13:14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, for its lusts.

Romans 9:8 That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are counted as a seed.

Romans 7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good.

It so simple, all under the righteous laws of God are condemned to death in the flesh, its that simple! These brothers were in life because of how God love them in Christ Jesus. We either judge righteously or we judge unrighteous judgments. We have our righteousness by another righteousness that is the only loyal and truthful judgment we can make is it not? We did not receive righteousness by any good or bad we have done, so why teach we did?

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn't receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Why hold another standard out for our brothers, why see the evil in their eye and forget about the death penalty in our own body of sin? If we have the eternal in us, the life of Christ, we have no sin, we walk in love, and we judge by righteousness, what is our righteousness, it is the Christ righteousness that removed our deserved death for sin.

Romans 3:22 even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all those who believe. For there is no distinction,.

Romans 3:25 whom God set forth to be an atoning sacrifice{or, a propitiation}, through faith in his blood, for a demonstration of his righteousness through the passing over of prior sins, in God's forbearance;

Romans 8:10 If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness.

Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

You see judgment of the flesh, is to kill that one point we just cannot stand in our brothers eye that one sin that we must extract from him by using what every power we can muster up. There is no greater power, nothing stronger to muster up then God's laws for righteousness condemning our flesh. But in doing so, we judge ourselves into the same death. The only way we can judge righteously is by judging in Christ righteousness, something not taught by false religion!

Rom. 7:4 Therefore, my brothers, you also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you would be joined to another, to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit to God. 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were through the law, worked in our members to bring forth fruit to death. 7:6 But now we have been discharged from the law, having died to that in which we were held; so that we serve in newness of the spirit, and not in oldness of the letter. 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? May it never be! However, I wouldn't have known sin, except through the law. For I wouldn't have known coveting, unless the law had said, "You shall not covet."{Exodus 20:17; Deuteronomy 5:21} 7:8 But sin, finding occasion through the commandment, produced in me all kinds of coveting. For apart from the law, sin is dead. 7:9 I was alive apart from the law once, but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
7:10 The commandment, which was for life, this I found to be for death;

By This We Know Love

****1Johm 3:16 By this we know love, because he laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.

What an intimate association the body of Christ has with other body members. But here is the issue in a loveless world, who can one trust? Who indeed can be loved, let alone give our life for? Moreover, why did Christ lay down his life for us? Did he do it for a reward, did he do it to make a show of righteousness, did he do it because he wanted to be a martyr?

Matthew 22:39 A second likewise is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'{Leviticus 19:18}

In other words, we should quickly see from these very simple questions that if Christ did so for a motive to honor himself, to be remembered as important, then, it would not be love. Its hard for some of us to really understand love without motive thata what we do, but is that how Christ loved us?

Luke 6:32 If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them.

Luke 7:42 When they couldn't pay, he forgave them both. Which of them therefore will love him most?"

You see it really is not a question of right or wrong, its a question of love, how love always responds. This is not a complex issues at all, it not a thinking thing, it is what love does first and each time, just as we would for our own body of flesh and blood.

Eph. 5:29 For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly;

To move beyond that we move into motives, and judgments, but if Christ died for us, not judging us, or if he should have been more cautiously analytical then it would not have been love for others which was more important than his own life. This was not a game, a calculated game on YHWH and Christ part to play the martyr to gain followers. No, not at all! Christ was motived by unselfish love for the human race, the same unselfish love of his Father Jehovah God.

John 21:16 He said to him again a second time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord; you know that I have affection for you." He said to him, "Tend my sheep."

Romans 5:5 and hope doesn't disappoint us, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Love could do nothing less, it must restore life to the dying human race born into sin, not by their own will, but through linage back to Adam the father to all sinful human being. Did God request a debt, for you and me to pay the coffer day and night for his love?

Romans 13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.

Did Christ or God say: “You owe me big time!” You better make sure you read your bible daily, go to this many meetings, and you better give your life for your brother. No he did not!

Matthew 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers{TR adds ", raise the dead"}, and cast out demons. Freely you received, so freely give.

What he did was tells us the issues this is the way love works, but he did not legislate it, for that is impossible to do? Love owes nothing but love. In other words; should we not be moved by God's love, and Christ, to love them back without strings, without motives of what we can get, or what we look like to others Christian's? Well, for the most part no we can't that is why we fall short of God's glory which Christ now is. Is that to condemn us into guilt day and night to extract something from us for payment?

Romans 3:24 being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus;

Romans 8:32 He who didn't spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things?

1 Corinthians 2:12 But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God.

Ephesians 1:6 to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he freely bestowed favor on us in the Beloved.

Lets make this clear, absolutely not! In fact just a few verses down we are given the love of God again, when John tells us that when our hearts condemn us because we are not God's glory, love, God is stronger then our condemning heart, he knows what we are, he knows what we will be when we are love. He is not judging us, why?

1John 3:20 because if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.

Very simple, we are our own judge from lack of love, we condemn ourselves, and others, but that is past, has nothing to do with God, future, who removed our judgment of our evil flesh in Christ. We must move forward, let rejoice in God's unfailing love, let us look forward to a time when we will not feel condemn when reading our bibles or someone commentary. Let understand we are short on this earth, and Moses a righteous man did not exclude himself when saying all our days are upon trouble and problems that is our judgment if we love God and righteousness. We suffer seeing we fall short, but the truth is in Christ, the truth is love, God's love does not fail, we do, we humbly acknowledge such painful truth. Let us love each other like that brothers.

Revelation 21:6 He said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give freely to him who is thirsty from the spring of the water of life.

Revelation 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" He who hears, let him say, "Come!" He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely.

John 15:12 "This is my commandment, that you love one another, even as I have loved you.

John 17:26 I made known to them your name, and will make it known; that the love with which you loved me may be in them, and I in them."

Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.

Does the Love of God Remain in us?

****1John3:17 But whoever has the world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and closes his heart of compassion against him, how does the love of God remain in him?

Love cannot be devoid of action! We cannot be in God's love, Christ Jesus, and not be moved to action to help our brother in need. Yes, sadly, the world and false religion has made this about a legal contract as they have God's love.

Luke 24:44 He said to them, "This is what I told you, while I was still with you, that all things which are written in the law of Moses, the prophets, and the psalms, concerning me must be fulfilled."

Matthew 23:23 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint, dill, and cumin,{ cumin is an aromatic seed from Cuminum cyminum, resembling caraway in flavor and appearance. It is used as a spice.} and have left undone the weightier matters of the law: justice, mercy, and faith. But you ought to have done these, and not to have left the other undone.

But knowledge does not divorce God's love, having profound knowledge of the bible, even as a Doctor of theology, a master attorney of God's word the bible does not divorce love, what love is moved to do without motives, because God is love, and God should reside in our heart richly not poorly by obligation.

1Cor.13:2 If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don't have love, I am nothing.

1 John 4:12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God remains in us, and his love has been perfected in us.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.

1 Thessalonians 4:9 But concerning brotherly love, you have no need that one write to you. For you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.

Ephesians 3:19 and to know Christ's love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Who are our brothers? Christ made it clear, and that's exactly who John was speaking to here, not the world, the apostles did not set out to feed the world with their God assigned ministry. But let us recall how compassion moved Christ heart for all humans. One can be in no doubt of who John speaks to here simply because the letter of First John is about not loving the world, he stating the world does not know us, because it did not know Christ, either, note here he speak of Christ brothers as having worldly goods not spiritual goods, or gifts, but physical goods and not sharing them with a brother in Christ in need.

There are many programs that do good for the poor, but John is more specific here, he is speaking of a personal family connection between body members in need. We know as well that the world is a world of weed Christian's that the enemy of God planted to obscure the wheat of God's planting the real sons of the kingdom. False religion had enriched itself off donation through selling tactic and guilt. Furthermore, religion does not recognize Christ brothers as Christ told us they would not and could not they did not come to the need of those suffering Christ being in them, those hated, and persecuted for his righteousness sake, they are not known by the world which weed Christian's are. Christ brothers are overlooked by fleshly false religion who are not moved at all for the brothers of Christ, They have no natural affection or connection to them, because Christ brothers are not known by the flesh, by their fleshly deeds and actions as are those of the flesh found in false religion.

1 John 3:13 Don't be surprised, my brothers, if the world hates you.

1 John 4:5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them.

1 John 5:19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

1 John 3:1 Behold, how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn't know us, because it didn't know him.

This is really the cruxes of John point if we are in Christ, as his body members, that is, in God's love, and to know God, is to know love, how could body members not love their own body, why would anyone neglect themselves?

Eph.5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body.
5:24 But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.
5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it;
5:26 that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,
5:27 that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
5:28 Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.
5:29 For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly;
5:30 because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones.
5:31 "For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh."{Genesis 2:24}
5:32 This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly.

Its that simple! However, the flesh has taken the field of God planting corrupting it with yeast from the flesh so hardly anyone trust anyone now days, and most are just scamming each others for benefits of the flesh! The power of money and goods has taken the natural affection away from mankind in general. We are as told, in critical times, hard to deal with, for men are lovers of themselves over lovers of God, they prove false to every power found in God's love, they deny the power of Christ working in his body for the love of false religion.

2Tim. 3:1 But know this, that in the last days, grievous times will come.
3:2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3:3 without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good,
3:4 traitors, headstrong, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God;
3:5 holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power thereof. Turn away from these, also.
3:6 For of these are those who creep into houses, and take captive gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts,
3:7 always learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

But God is still moved with compassion for the poor elderly, and the widows and fatherless boys, so are Christ brothers, although, they be defrauded at times does not mean the love of God in them was defrauded! Nothing is lost, all is gains in Christ, rather life of death, rather suffering or joy all works for God's glory, for we should not fear what they fear and give up doing what is good, for we have the good God indwelling us, he will give us the wisdom to be innocent as a dove, but also as cautious as a serpent, we are not left alone to making hard choices we have a head that helps us in every way that does not reproach us in asking for wisdom from above.

1Cor.3:20 And again, "The Lord knows the reasoning of the wise, that it is worthless."{Psalm 94:11}
3:21 Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours,
3:22 whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come. All are yours,
3:23 and you are Christ's, and Christ is God's.

2Cor. 6:6 in pureness, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in sincere love,
6:7 in the word of truth, in the power of God; by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
6:8 by glory and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true;
6:9 as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold, we live; as punished, and not killed;
6:10 as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

Let Christ work in us for the glory of God, let us not become evil with tight uncaring fist, but let us be moved by His love; for he lets it rain upon the righteous and the unrighteous he loved us first, we have the perfect example of giving living right in us.

Matt. 5:45 that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust.
5:46 For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Don't even the tax collectors do the same?

****1John.3:18 My little children, let's not love in word only, neither with the tongue only, but in deed and truth.

So little love, so much tongue! The world of the flesh has many words, but so little loving actions. Imagine if you will for an moment a world that is searching for a word to label something so it becomes a great or very hated thing? Words are powerful they are used to deny the truth by opposite actions of politician, they are used to get us to buy things, to make an impression so we no longer use our power of reasoning, where we deny the very fruits Christ said would be upon God's trees.

Proverbs 4:5 Get wisdom. Get understanding. Don't forget, neither swerve from the words of my mouth.

Proverbs 17:27 He who spares his words has knowledge. He who is even tempered is a man of understanding.

Many words are used by fleshly Christian to justify why they can't and won't love others, and/or why they do show love to some and deny others? Do we honestly think heaven is this complicated moved by all kinds of reasoning why God and angels do something or don't do something?

Matt. 5:47 If you only greet your friends, what more do you do than others? Don't even the tax collectors do the same?
5:48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

No its not, and here is why, if we sin, we are lawless, and we are against God's love, and his commandments; so either we are a sinner or we are not? However, those justifying their sins must uses words, because they don't have remission of sin. Consequently, they must used verses from the bible, their experiences, education, and debates, whatever else they have gained over the years on this earth to justify when they do bad or good!

Isaiah 43:9 Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the peoples be assembled. Who among them can declare this, and show us former things? Let them bring their witnesses, that they may be justified; or let them hear, and say, "That is true."

Titus 3:7 that, being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Unlike the angels of God that never explain why they do something, or don't. On the other hand, Satan the Devil got into a word game with Micheal to justify himself, the father of sin, but not Micheal, why? Because sin cannot be justify by words that is one more lie the flesh uses to defend itself to prove it is right. But the flesh is not
right, so when it read the bible the first thing it does is start justifying why it is or isn't doing something God told us to do?

Jude 1:9 But Michael, the archangel, when contending with the devil and arguing about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him an abusive condemnation, but said, "May the Lord rebuke you!"

Romans 3:20 Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin.

Here John states a fact, if we are in the vine of Christ, we are in God's love, very simple. If we are in God's love why don't we have love for each other for those on the same vine? Such a simple truth, it is because we are in our flesh, and we are sinning, and we are not moved by God's love for our brothers and we know it in our hearts. So why brag and lie against the truth?

1John.3:20 because if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.

James. 3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth.

Words don't changes actions they deny them, they hardly ever uphold them. Its sad, isn't it? People will traverse seas for a religion to follow its rules, to go to a meeting or an convention, but they are not move whatsoever for a brother of Christ in need! Why, because simply, they don't get the praise of the group, their works are done before men that can reward them, lavish them with praise for their service to God.

Matt.6:1 "Be careful that you don't do your charitable giving before men, to be seen by them, or else you have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.

Their service is sight service, it not to the Christ indwelling them, but to sight, a fatal flaw of our flesh, we all have it. To confused the Christ indwelling someone with Holy Spirit with the works of the flesh is the most commonly practiced in our world. Seeking mankind approval for not having the Holy Spirit, but having words about the Holy Spirit found in our bibles is the ear marking of false religion; using words written in religious material so we can “act” like we are filled with Holy Spirit while in the sight of others we want to be around and desire their approval.

John 7:18 He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory, but he who seeks the glory of him who sent him is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

John 8:54 Jesus answered, "If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say that he is our God.

Such is not the love of the body of Christ, its not God's love, or is it how God practices love towards us. It is, what it is, so the apostle John needs not go into detail, if we are in God's love then we love, if we have Christ in us, we have to be moved by the same Spirit of love for our brothers, if not? Well, then we are not in Christ, we are not at all doing the works of the Holy Spirit within the body of Christ. No amount of words is going to change our fruit, our deeds, we must ask our heavenly Father for the gifts of Holy Spirit which he is willing to give us freely. Let us understand, most of what we've been taught from religion is from the flesh, which it mixes with yeast of the flesh used to justifies why it has not the fruit of Spirit. The flesh thinks if it denies by words, by verses from the bible it is proves itself righteous, giving it standing with God. but it does not that is a lie, many are living in. John makes it perfectly clear where true righteousness is, where it comes from, and where the body of Christ gets its righteousness from.

15:5 I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

Certainly, not from self, or words, not from knowledge, or education, or religions, but from God's own righteousness given freely in Christ Jesus to his body members making them sinless, by Christ works, and not themselves. Moreover, not to the praise of men, nor to look good in our flesh, but to God's glory in his unfathomable love.

1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, isn't the Father's, but is the world's.

Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

God is Greater Than Our Hearts

**** 1John.3:19 And by this we know that we are of the truth, and persuade our hearts before him, 3:20 because if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.
3:21 Beloved, if our hearts don't condemn us, we have boldness toward God;

The motto of sinful humans is; “leave nothing to chance!” In other words, think of the worst first take no chances that way we are protected from unscrutabless person. The problem is how do we translate that into faith, and love for God, if we think evil of him?

James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God," for God can't be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.

Romans 12:9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.

Ultimately, that view is truth the for most of us that we cannot be known God accept by analytical deduction through the measuring our deduction by laws. This is the method most religions standards are set up by. Yes, the word is called methodology, and is where the Methodist church started from, a technique of analyzing the bible methodically, word for word verse by verse creating a doctrine of who God is, and what he wants!

2 Corinthians 3:3 being revealed that you are a letter of Christ, served by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tablets of stone, but in tablets that are hearts of flesh.

However, as much as our own hearts resist it God says the only way to know him is by love, not methodology, but is God an unscrutabless person that we need to examine his every motive? Can we approach God and know God with anything less then love for God? Can we actually have faith if we first sees God as evil, eager to punish us and we must set ou through some methodology to prove he is not? Moreover, is that faith at all? The faith so many have been convinced of through research giving them faith in methodology to dismiss our fears? You see the point missing for the legalist is God loves us first it is his compelling love that brings us to love him. It is not God's compelling legal arguments that brings his children to him, but his kindly unending love for them, isn't that correct?

Titus.3:3 For we were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. 3:4 But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love toward mankind appeared, 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, 3:6 whom he poured out on us richly, through Jesus Christ our Savior; 3:7 that, being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

The apostle John states this that love, love of God in our hearts, and the love we show each other not by legally words written in the bible, but the compelling love of God is what moves all of God's children to help body members, our brothers and sisters having the same spirit of love found in Christ our body that gives us faith and love, not some legal technique or research!

Romans 15:30 Now I beg you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the love of the Spirit, that you strive together with me in your prayers to God for me.

1 Corinthians 13:1 If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don't have love, I have become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal.

Hence, when we uses legally logic taking no chances of being had, we love in word, we love like the world, in our flesh, the flesh is the world. We like the concept of God's love given us freely, but protectionism of being taken advantage of, stops our hearts from true love for God and each others. Subsequently, we are not compelled by God's love (Spirit) to openly handed to give freely to others. The pain and fear of being humiliated in our flesh that is the pride of our flesh shouts into our ear that we are stupid for giving because we will be taken advantage of, and mocked as a foolish person not educated enough to protect ourselves with good common sense found in good business practices.

Matt. 5:39 But I tell you, don't resist him who is evil; but whoever strikes you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also.
5:40 If anyone sues you to take away your coat, let him have your cloak also. 5:41 Whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two. 5:42 Give to him who asks you, and don't turn away him who desires to borrow from you. 5:43 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor,{Leviticus 19:18} and hate your enemy.{not in the Bible, but see Qumran Manual of Discipline Ix, 21-26}'
5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,

We want to be shrewd, practical, and not be a fool with our giving, so we build a wall of legal reasons why we should not, and, thus, breaking one of them is a sin, a judgment that we will pay a price for. In all this, is what is called condemnation, we condemn ourselves, God and others because we don't want to be taken advantage of and looked bad before the eyes of this world as a fool!. But here the apostle John does not stop, he takes us into something so wonderful and profound that it helps us love God even more.

John 5:41 I don't receive glory from men.

John 5:44 How can you believe, who receive glory from one another, and you don't seek the glory that comes from the only God?

John's tells us, even if our hearts condemn us, and they do, often, God love is greater then our own hearts and its evil reasoning. God knows what? Our sinful limitation on this earth that we can't go the distance, causing us to give out, we are condemn by not showing love as God shows us his love. But the power of God's love goes so far beyond that day, into a time, when love can't fail that it produces the perfect son's of God, in Christ imagine.

Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Romans 8:39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, "Things which an eye didn't see, and an ear didn't hear, which didn't enter into the heart of man, these God has prepared for those who love him."{Isaiah 64:4}

You, see, if we only read our bibles like an attorney of law, parsing words to get a client off from judgment, we miss the truth in thinking God is a man like us, and not love! We didn't hear the truth, the whole truth, God's love is written to our hearts not laws! God loved (Not Lawed us) while we were yet sinners, not that we got around some legal judgment by cleverly analyzing words. You see, there is no condemnation for those in Christ (That is Love, not law!). The apostles John is so truthful that he does not say we don't have condemnation in our feeling in flesh and we don't judge ourselves and other harshly at times or that we shouldn't do more. All that is true by analytical judgment, but none of its true by God's love anointing us as his children. Now listen again, we have no condemnation in Christ. Our self judgments will not cause God to start condemning us, we really can't judge anything before its Christ time as our head to judge. Christ discipline his body members, not with the condemnation of death, but with life in view. You, see we are not on a graduating scale with God free gift of life (from love but we are by our analytical mind), we are not earning more of it everyday, or are we diminishing it each day. No! Its given freely and irrevocably (that is God's love not our love that is faulty). God will bring us to his stated purpose one way or another because he chose us when? (From love) Before we did anything bad or good, before we were alive in our sinful flesh, before the founding of this world that is birthed into corruption and sin.

1Cor.4:1 So let a man think of us as Christ's servants, and stewards of God's mysteries. 4:2 Here, moreover, it is required of stewards, that they be found faithful. 4:3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by man's judgment. Yes, I don't judge my own self. 4:4 For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord. 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.

Ephesians 1:4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without blemish before him in love;

Rom.8:28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
8:29 For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."}
8:30 Whom he predestined, those he also called. Whom he called, those he also justified. Whom he justified, those he also glorified.
8:31 What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 8:32 He who didn't spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things? 8:33 Who could bring a charge against God's chosen ones? It is God who justifies. 8:34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

Now its that love that is the truth, not our love, for we give out into condemnation because we can't measure up to God's glory, we cannot love in perfection, we cannot perfect ourselves, we cannot not be a sinner. If God was not greater then us (our hearts), for his name sake, for his own creation chosen before the founding of this world, if we were left to stand on our own?

Luke 12:32 Don't be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom.

Now we see, but a hazy outline of God's love, but then we will see clearly the unending power of God's love towards us. We will know freedom from our mortal weakness, our thorns in our flesh, we will have boldness knowing we have been made perfect in Christ priesthood in God's love.

1Cor.13:4 Love is patient and is kind; love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud,
13:5 doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil;
13:6 doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;
13:7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
13:8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will be done away with. Where there are various languages, they will cease. Where there is knowledge, it will be done away with.
13:9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part;
13:10 but when that which is complete has come, then that which is partial will be done away with.
13:11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child. Now that I have become a man, I have put away childish things.
13:12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, even as I was also fully known.
13:13 But now faith, hope, and love remain--these three. The greatest of these is love.

Whatever We Ask, We Receive From Him

****1John 3:22 and whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.

Let us be forthrightly honest here! Most of us know we don't receive whatever we ask of God. Furthermore, most of us if were honest don't always keep God's commandments, eventhough, we want to.

So what is the context of John's writing here under Holy Spirit? There entire letter of First John center has one theme, a theme that if not gotten will lead us down every trail imaginable into complete error of the truth. In fact, believing the lie as many do when applying the book of First John into their lives and religion.

One cannot help but notice from the start of the letter of 'first John he tells us that we all are sinners, and if we make the claim we are not, we are a liar. That should tells us something? Then within short order John tells us if we are “in Christ” we can't sin, so which is it?

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

1 John 3:6 Whoever remains in him doesn't sin. Whoever sins hasn't seen him, neither knows him.

Both have to be true, because the author of the book, God's Holy Spirit can't lie! Are we a sinner, yes, or no? We are! In Christ, are we a sinner, yes or no? No we are not! The question is, and let it be said; it is defined for us throughout the Greek scriptures can we stop sinning in our flesh? No! Now here is the key to understanding the letter of first John, and quiet frankly, all of the Greek writings, or as some call them the New Testament?

Romans 7:20 But if what I don't desire, that I do, it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwells in me.

Our flesh is dead in Christ that means, although, we live on in our flesh in God's judgment of our flesh it is dead. That mean's it not accounted as alive, working, justifying itself, its thinking is dead, and its prayers are dead. In fact, anything about our flesh is gone to God, he does not heard it, or know it! In other words, God take no account of our flesh as we do, God accounts it dead.

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

Now in that context we can understand what John is speaking about here? If we are in Christ we are sinless, without flesh, which means, rather we accept it or not? We obey his commandments there is no other choice, or we are not sinless in Christ.

1 John 3:9 Whoever is born of God doesn't commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can't sin, because he is born of God.

Sinlessness means not breaking God's commandments, or we are not sinless. Moreover, neither are we in Christ because one cannot be in Christ and be a sinner, and that is why God accounts us dead in our flesh. You see, our being accounted dead in our flesh has nothing to do with what we can do good or bad? That choice was made by God, long before we thought we could keep God's commandments, while we were yet sinners! That decision was made by God permanently, and everlastingly!

Romans 5:8 But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Galatians 2:17 But if, while we sought to be justified in Christ, we ourselves also were found sinners, is Christ a servant of sin? Certainly not!

Thus, when we get worked up in our flesh dead in Christ God really does not listen to its needs, why? Because it is dead, or its not? If its dead, a dead person wants needs are not valid, why? How do you help the dead its impossible? God certainly can't listen to the needs of the flesh, which is dead by very thing that killed them in the first place the flesh, now can he?

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

But unequivocally, if we are in Christ sinless, part of his body membership how can a need, a prayer, go on answered? Moreover, he listen because we are sinless in Christ because we obey the commandments not because we did good or bad, but due to the legal fact God's chose to kill our flesh., allowing us to be righteous and sinless without any help from our flesh.

Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

We are blessed or we are cursed, the blessing is our coming to a complete understanding of the grand privilege of being accounted righteous by God undeserved kindness towards us, the curse is living in our flesh, while we have been accounted righteous thinking our fleshes needs and wants is what God is listening to, and cater too, and blessing us in?

1 Peter 4:2 that you no longer should live the rest of your time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who doesn't continue in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them."{Deuteronomy 27:26}

He is not! We are told not to be anxious in our flesh, it is dead, accounted dead by God, God knows exactly what we need and will provide for us in our flesh the things we need to serve him in Spirit and truth. We can rest assured the calling and choosing of God's anointed is far greater then any foolishness of our flesh. Nothing of our calling depends upon man, nothing of the flesh touches the Spirit of God. God is clear minded in this matter as is Christ, they will not forget the course or their words towards us that endure forever, they can't, for whatever God YHWH states will not perish. God spoke his anointed into existence by his Word, Christ Jesus.

Rom. 8:28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
8:29 For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."}
8:30 Whom he predestined, those he also called. Whom he called, those he also justified. Whom he justified, those he also glorified.
8:31 What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Although, we exist in tribulation of the flesh it is a lie, it not real, it has no place in God's judgment of us, for we are in Christ where there is no judgment or God is a liar, and our flesh is the truth? Let us recall to mind the counsel offend given, the flesh lust against the Spirit and because of that lust we cannot do the the things pleasing to God. Let us rejoice because God is greater than our hearts, and our judgment is not with death in view, but eternal life with Christ Jesus and his Father Jehovah God.

Heb.12:3 For consider him who has endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, that you don't grow weary, fainting in your souls.
12:4 You have not yet resisted to blood, striving against sin;
12:5 and you have forgotten the exhortation which reasons with you as with children, "My son, don't take lightly the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are reproved by him;
12:6 For whom the Lord loves, he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives."{Proverbs 3:11-12}
12:7 It is for discipline that you endure. God deals with you as with children, for what son is there whom his father doesn't discipline?
12:8 But if you are without discipline, of which all have been made partakers, then are you illegitimate, and not children.
12:9 Furthermore, we had the fathers of our flesh to chasten us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?
12:10 For they indeed, for a few days, punished us as seemed good to them; but he for our profit, that we may be partakers of his holiness.
12:11 All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been exercised thereby.
12:12 Therefore, lift up the hands that hang down and the feeble knees,{Isaiah 35:3}
12:13 and make straight paths for your feet,{Proverbs 4:26} so that which is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.
12:14 Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord,

The Commandment to Believe:

****1John 3:23 This is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, even as he commanded. 3:24 He who keeps his commandments remains in him, and he in him. By this we know that he remains in us, by the Spirit which he gave us.

Do we actually understand what the word context means? That is not a put down, but so many have built their entire faith in God based on one scripture taken out of context of the entire letter, the entire Greek Scriptures. Moreover, whole massive religions have also been built off scriptures taken our of context.

John. 5:38 You don't have his word living in you; because you don't believe him whom he sent.
5:39 "You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and these are they which testify about me.
5:40 Yet you will not come to me, that you may have life.
5:41 I don't receive glory from men.

Where is the Word of God? This not a trick question if we understand who the apostle John was speaking to here? He certainly isn't speaking to the world, or false religion. John is speaking to the anointed of God, like himself. He speaking to those that are “in Christ” and Christ in them. So once again, where was the Christ for those brothers John was speaking to?

Let us put this into complete context so there is no confusion? Let us uses the words of another of Christ apostles:

Rom.10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith says this, "Don't say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'{Deuteronomy 30:12} (that is, to bring Christ down); 10:7 or, 'Who will descend into the abyss?'{Deuteronomy 30:13} (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead.)" 10:8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart;"{Deuteronomy 30:14} that is, the word of faith, which we preach: 10:9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10:10 For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 10:11 For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed."{Isaiah 28:16} 10:12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him. 10:13 For, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."{Joel 2:32}

So yes, they were in Christ and Christ in them that is the context. No mystery they needed no new writings, they certainly needed no temple to go to a religion, it was not found in a man. (they were in Christ, and Christ in them, and speaking through them by faith, who could teach them beyond that?) So how did they obey the commandments? Lets let John tells us one more time:

1John 3:23 This is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, even as he commanded. 3:24 He who keeps his commandments remains in him, and he in him. By this we know that he remains in us, by the Spirit which he gave us.

But what happens when we take these verses out of context making them stand alone on their own like a legal analyses does? It builds and entire false religion based upon works of law.

Matthew 13:33 He spoke another parable to them. "The Kingdom of Heaven is like yeast, which a woman took, and hid in three measures{literally, three sata. 3 sata is about 39 litres or a bit more than a bushel} of meal, until it was all leavened."

But is this Christ commandment the one he stated from the beginning of his ministry? Lets not wonder, or guess, lets see if the apostle John is speaking from the same Holy Spirit found in Christ at the time he spoke it?

John 6:29 Jesus answered them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent."

John 6:47 Most certainly, I tell you, he who believes in me has eternal life.

Now stop what is the commandment Christ gave to his followers? What is the work Christ stated would give us eternal life? In context as the apostle John is very clear about, which is? For us to keep the commandments of God, and do the works of God we must believe in the Son of God, Christ Jesus.

It is this faith that keeps us where? In Christ Jesus, and Christ Jesus in us that is the context of John's words and the whole Greek scriptures, but let us go further here. Faith in Christ Jesus is without works of law, it is without works of our flesh, it is without man approval or works at all, or a religion. And that was the apostles Paul's point. It is where, in heaven, in the depth of the sea in our hearts and mouth?

Having life is not complicated as legalized religion has made it, so the average person must jump through years of analyzing the bible, be trained in the a ministry to unlock the truth of God freely giving us life.

1Cor. 1:22 For Jews ask for signs, Greeks seek after wisdom,
1:23 but we preach Christ crucified; a stumbling block to Jews, and foolishness to Greeks,
1:24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.
1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
1:26 For you see your calling, brothers, that not many are wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, and not many noble;
1:27 but God chose the foolish things of the world that he might put to shame those who are wise. God chose the weak things of the world, that he might put to shame the things that are strong;
1:28 and God chose the lowly things of the world, and the things that are despised, and the things that are not, that he might bring to nothing the things that are:
1:29 that no flesh should boast before God.

We cannot bring Christ down, the Word of God, and we certainly can not resurrect him by going into the center of our earth, but we sure can and do make it impossible for someone to believe in God, so they can receive the gift of life, and for them to do the works of God by believing in Christ.

Matthew 18:6 but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him that a huge millstone should be hung around his neck, and that he should be sunk in the depths of the sea.

Religion and us can do complicated teaching seating ourselves into the judgment seat of Christ, many have, and many more will. We certain can put legal clauses on Christ by our teaching how to get the ransom through works of law, the ransom freely given to all by believing in God's love, the love of God that resurrected his Son giving us us the free gift of life in Christ Jesus. Yes, we have complicated all our ways and God's!

Psalms 18:26 With the pure, you will show yourself pure. With the crooked you will show yourself shrewd.

Ecclesiastes 1:15 That which is crooked can't be made straight; and that which is lacking can't be counted.

Proverbs 8:8 All the words of my mouth are in righteousness. There is nothing crooked or perverse in them.

Obeying the commandments is the first work of law that not one sinner has every done! Yet, we have whole religions based upon this verse, because they refuse to understand the context of the Greek Scriptures, they will traverse land, river, mountain, and seas to make a person a convert to flesh binding them into works of law obeying the commandments and miss the entire thought of the Greek Scriptures in unmerited kindness, undeserved kindness, and/or grace!

Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

Lets break it down:

1. What is the commandment John tells us to obey first? For us to believe in the Son of God, Christ Jesus.

So if we break one commandment we break them all. Most of the Jews did not believe in who? Christ Jesus, and they deny him for self-righteousness, which is another word for works of law. They thought, like so many Christian's that they could keep the commandments of God through their own works of their flesh. In other words, the could remove sin from their flesh by hard work in obeying the commandments.

Rom.10:2 For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.
10:3 For being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn't subject themselves to the righteousness of God.
10:4 For Christ is the fulfillment{or, completion, or end} of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

Rom.8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.
8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

But that is the lie, the first lie! Without faith in God's power and goodness their no eternal life for anyone! How simple? Christ came to remove the curse, what is the curse, our sinful flesh that cannot stop breaking God's commandments so God's law curse us with death. How did Christ remove the curse by becoming our curse that is our flesh, or sinful flesh born from Adam.

Rom.8:3 For what the law couldn't do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh;
8:4 that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Galatians 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,"{Deuteronomy 21:23}

How can someone wipe, washes themselves clean on earth when not one Jew could for thousand's year under God's righteous law? Are we that foolish?

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Without the first step of believing in Christ the Son of God as our curse and redeemer, we are not in Christ, if we are then not found in righteousness, Christ is our righteousness, we are a sinner, and we can't keep any of God's commandments because none of us our righteous is God's judgment of the law.

Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.

1Cor.1:29 that no flesh should boast before God.
1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:

With sin we cannot do the works of God, which means loving our brothers because the love of God is found where, in righteousness, Christ Jesus. Works not found in righteousness are not God's works, they are, in fact, works of law through our own flesh, which flesh is not in Christ.

Philippians 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

In other words, we are not in the true vine if we are not found in Christ righteousness, the life source for the vines fruits, hence, our works (God's), which are produced by the life of the vine, Christ Jesus.

John. 15:1 "I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer.
15:5 I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
15:6 If a man doesn't remain in me, he is thrown out as a branch, and is withered; and they gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
15:7 If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you.

We can't love our brothers under the laws of the flesh, because under the laws of the flesh we are all worthy of what? Death! The laws judgment of sin, death, if we judge our brothers and sisters truthfully like God did Israel under the law for thousand's of years all are worthy of death. The law did not perfect anything, why? Because it did not perfect love in us, for God, or our brothers and sisters.

Hebrews 7:19 (for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

Colossians 1:8 who also declared to us your love in the Spirit.

Colossians 1:13 who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love;

1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. He who doesn't love his brother remains in death.

1 John 3:10 In this the children of God are revealed, and the children of the devil. Whoever doesn't do righteousness is not of God, neither is he who doesn't love his brother.

Those trying to perfect others by the law, are unwittingly stating in error that the flesh can be perfected, and God was wrong, the commandments could perfect us our flesh!

2 Corinthians 12:9 He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.

Hebrews 9:9 which is a symbol of the present age, where gifts and sacrifices are offered that are incapable, concerning the conscience, of making the worshipper perfect;

No where is that found in our bibles unless we deliberately taking each verse out of context, and like an attorney build upon it, until it is a complicated mountain of legal wrangling that make it impossible to know the Christ, by faith. One prays, searches the depths of the oceans, and cries out to God, help me find the truth, help me find life, when it right in our mouths, in our heart if we have faith, believe in the Son of God.

Galatians 4:6 And because you are children, God sent out the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, "Abba,{Abba is a Greek spelling for the Aramaic word for "Father" or "Daddy" used in a familiar, respectful, and loving way.} Father!"

Luke 18:16 Jesus summoned them, saying, "Allow the little children to come to me, and don't hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

Luke 10:21 In that same hour Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said, "I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for so it was well-pleasing in your sight."
