Galatians 1:6 I marvel that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ to a different "good news";

What happens when we lose grace? When we no longer stand in grace? When we no longer speak of grace or even teach grace whats is left?

Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.

Romans 5:21 that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Nothing! Certainly not the Christ, or the truth, which Christ is the truth for us Christian's. Without grace its impossible to stand in Christ, or have his mind that teaches us by Holy Spirit the truth of God. Without grace, that is, unmerited kindness, and/or undeserved kindness we are self-righteous, not made righteous by Christ Jesus righteousness which is God gift of grace to us.

Romans 5:17 For if by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one; so much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ.

Grace is not just a pretty word used by Christian's to sound like the apostles, or to be avoided because someone decided it has been misused as every word found in the bible has been misused by somebody. or a group at sometime.

Romans 5:2 through whom we also have our access by faith into this grace in which we stand. We rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Grace is the only power a Christian's has, it is essential to eternal life without grace there will be no eternal life for anyone of us. Grace is the power of God's love, it expresses the truth of our Fathers love unlike anything else. When we move away from grace, unmerited kindness, undeserved kindness into another good news we are fleshly, thinking whats in our flesh can save us by good works and not grace that cannot be earned which is a gift given us undeservedly, do we honestly understand that?

Romans 4:4 Now to him who works, the reward is not counted as grace, but as debt.

When we speak constantly of commandments, preaching, meeting attendance judging God's unmerited kindness by how well a person follows the rules we have fallen from grace, do we understand that? We don't stand in Christ by our merit, that is, before God judgments seat by how much we do, but by grace, undeserved kindness, do you know why?

Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

Because no one, not one sinner can stand before God and boldly declare they are not a sinner. No person can say: “I am righteous by my works the works I have done for God; give me eternal life!”

Hebrews 12:28 Therefore, receiving a Kingdom that can't be shaken, let us have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe,

No! Stop! Think! We stand in the righteous life of Christ Jesus who paid for our life because we could not stand being a sinner. God removed our judgment by his undeserved kindness, we stand in grace, do we actually understand that? When we never think about grace talk to others about God unmerited kindness we have fallen from grace into works of law and salvation by our own earned merit by some God News, some good work we feel we are doing for God.

Hebrews 13:9 Don't be carried away by various and strange teachings, for it is good that the heart be established by grace, not by food, through which those who were so occupied were not benefited.

Hebrews 12:15 looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it;

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need.

Yes! Grace is offensive to the hard driven Christian's who loves to boast in their flesh in their righteousness by things they done, and approve of as acceptable works of God. Yes! Grace strips the proud of heart in their so called wonderful education in research to gain pride in the flesh. Grace is a gift then how does one boast? No, the latest prophecy, the latest find about the dead sea scrolls or anything else under the Sun is going to replace the precious gift of God grace to the humble of heart.

James 4:6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."{Proverbs 3:34}

Titus 2:11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,

If we have grace we have eternal life, do we believe that? If not we lack faith in the power of God's unmerited kindness. When we do works of law it puts our faith where? In the past, buried with the dead still working to be approved of God. But indeed where does grace put us? Into life, the instructable life of Christ Jesus, living, alive so we have eternal life right now in the present. Why would someone not teach that? Why would someone go beyond what we have received from our faith into another good news that brings one into slavery of sin again?

2 Timothy 1:9 who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before times eternal.

1 Timothy 1:14 The grace of our Lord abounded exceedingly with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

2 Thessalonians 2:16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace.
