Light of the World

Luke.14:33 And so whoever is not ready to give up all he has may not be my disciple.
14:34 For salt is good, but if the taste goes from it, of what use is it?
14:35 It is no good for the land or for the place of waste; no one has a use for it. He who has ears, let him give ear.[/b]

There is a clear demarcation between light and darkness look at the moon for example light is cut by darkness, still, looking even closer, there are no gray areas. It is either dark or light!

John 9:5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
Yet, what do we see among the ways of humans, many shades of gray, from light into darkness within second, can we imagine if God were the same as us? So many would find changing ideas and thoughts minute to minute according to the whims of our flesh found in sin, always changing. Imagine the very Sun changing within second, light to darkness how would that effect all life on earth?

James.1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

The people of our earth are in a whirl wind of human decision made by emotions from minute to minute, driven by the propaganda News Media. Like a great sea driven by hard winds of time, always churning up never able to settle down into peace. But what of those that are light the light of our world? What if they are driven by the whims of human emotion thinking that is the power of Christ Kingdom which is light, an unshakable kingdom?
Isaiah 57:20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea; for it can't rest, and its waters cast up mire and dirt.

What then happens to their usefulness, to season the trouble times for others, to be of value as the constant unshakable light to this world to direct others to the only true hope of this world, the incoming kingdom of God?

Ecclesiastes 9:17 The words of the wise heard in quiet are better than the cry of him who rules among fools.
Salt Is Good

Salt is good, yeast is not, yeast steals, takes, the power from salt, both are understood by Holy Spirit which is the light in us, the light, the salt that makes us useful to others. Everything is the world of flesh, where yeast comes from, that is, let’s clarify, it is sin, which is death something we are all born into, which stalks us all the days of our lives. Yes, sin, the slave driver of the flesh, death that controls the flesh, where flesh swings from one catastrophe after another catastrophe, so life on earth is set upon trouble all the days of our lives.

PS 90:4 For a thousand years in your sight are just like yesterday when it is past, like a watch in the night.
.90:5 You sweep them away as they sleep. In the morning they sprout like new grass.
90:6 In the morning it sprouts and springs up. By evening, it is withered and dry.
90:7 For we are consumed in your anger. We are troubled in your wrath.
90:8 You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence.
90:9 For all our days have passed away in your wrath. We bring our years to an end as a sigh.
90:10 The days of our years are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty years; yet their pride is but labor and sorrow, for it passes quickly, and we fly away.
90:11 Who knows the power of your anger, your wrath according to the fear that is due to you?
90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

But is this the unshakable kingdom of God? Is it like a leaf blowing in the wind being whip into one catastrophe after another? Does the unshakable kingdom of Christ shake as we shake in the fear of death? Is it driven like a slave trying as the flesh does to hang on to this life, at all cost?

Deuteronomy 32:4 The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice: a God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and right is he.
Salt is good, but if it is diluted into something that makes us sick with all the problems of this world, into nothing more than the fear of death, or the things coming upon this world? The salt loses its power, when one reaches for it, and uses it to season their food and we find it changed, adding nothing? It adds nothing to our words the same old words the world lives in fear of, the same old taste of death and fear found in all this world?

Job 6:6 Can that which has no flavor be eaten without salt? Or is there any taste in the white of an egg?
Psalms 34:8 Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.

What then is the value of the sons of the kingdom? Did we get that point, sons of what? The world, the nations, the earth? No! Sons of the kingdom, our world is not of this world, we come from light out of darkness out of fear, fear of all the things coming upon the nations, for how many years now? Some two thousand years, what is our message, is it light, not darkness, not salt and pepper; are we sons of Christ unshakable kingdom the hope of all the world no matter what time frame we are born into?

Luke 21:26 men fainting for fear, and for expectation of the things which are coming on the world: for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Flesh Power Brought to Nothing

The power of the flesh is the world, it is all that this world has been built upon, the good, and the bad, is it a system of things that supports life in heaven or, paradise on earth? No! It supports mankind of necessity for life on earth in our flesh. God help Adam and Eve, but he did not change the condition of life found in sin in knowing good and evil on earth.

But what supports of the sons of God’s kingdom, what is their life, their food, their very existence, the world, the physical things of this earth? Where does the salt, the light come from?

Gen3:16 To the woman he said, "I will greatly multiply your pain in childbirth. In pain you will bring forth children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you."
Gen. 3:17 To Adam he said, "Because you have listened to your wife's voice, and have eaten of the tree, of which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not eat of it,' cursed is the ground for your sake. In toil you will eat of it all the days of your life.
3:18 Thorns also and thistles will it bring forth to you; and you will eat the herb of the field.
3:19 By the sweat of your face will you eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For you are dust, and to dust you shall return." ight of the sons of the kingdom come from?

Dose a sons of the kingdom have to wonder in putting faith in the flesh to support their life? No! There is no question where and how their life is supported from the day of their new birth into an unshakable kingdom of Christ?

Philippians 3:3 For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh;

Are they shaken by world events, yes! However, they are shaken only in the flesh as the flesh is in a state of being shaken, yes that is our judgment the house of God is under; into understanding there is no safety or peace in ourselves, or in others
.
Hebrews 2:14 Since then the children have shared in flesh and blood, he also himself in like manner partook of the same, that through death he might bring to nothing him who had the power of death, that is, the devil.

Hebrews 5:7 He, in the days of his flesh, having offered up prayers and petitions with strong crying and tears to him who was able to save him from death, and having been heard for his godly fear,

The sons of kingdom suffer what is common to all flesh, under going much tribulation in the days of their flesh, but when the shaking happen, they find a Rock Solid Kingdom of Christ they a part of, not this world. They will learn the most valuable lesson of all, putting faith in nothing but Christ and his power to save us daily!

Hebrews 7:25 Therefore he is also able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them.
There is no confidences in the flesh, none at all for the sons of the kingdom, but we cannot separate our flesh from the spirit, we do not have that power, that takes Christ power, his job, his priesthood, so we suffer in the fears of our flesh, like the world, and in that suffering we are being perfected in Spirit and truth of Christ our life, our unshakable kingdom.

Heb. 4:12 For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
4:13 There is no creature that is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
4:14 Having then a great high priest, who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold tightly to our confession.
4:15 For we don't have a high priest who can't be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.
4:16 Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need.

Here then is our judgment, the teaching, the training that ultimately the rest of the world will undergo at the time when all flesh will come to nothing (that is the corruption of sin found in all flesh). Yes, the sin producing death the permeation of yeast and shadows of all mankind’s kingdoms ever on this earth.

Hebrews 12:26 whose voice shook the earth then, but now he has promised, saying, "Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heavens."{Haggai 2: 6}
Colossians 3:2 Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth.

Acts 17:26 He made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth, having determined appointed seasons, and the boundaries of their dwellings.

Life on earth was sustain by God, his power that is light, with no darkness the earth became filled with darkness at sin, it has continued into many corrupt schemes to hid the truth of how our life is sustained? It has cast long shadows of lies upon every generation of mankind, blinding them to ultimate truth. That God is the creator of life, the sustainer of life, and without him there is no life, or will they ever be life.

John 12:40 "He has blinded their eyes and he hardened their heart, lest they should see with their eyes, and perceive with their heart, and would turn, and I would heal them."{Isaiah 6:10}

2 Corinthians 4:4 in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them.

Although, this earth undergo tribulation, change driven by fears of our flesh, God does not, or has he ever under gone change, he is the same today, as he has always been the light of this world the light that cannot dwell in darkness. Is that the salt in us? Is that our message? Is this not the usefulness of the sons of the kingdom to reveal the heart and truth of our Father?

Romans 5:5 and hope doesn't disappoint us, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Romans 5:8 But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 8:28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Romans 8:39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Have we said good bye to everything but Christ, is he our life, or the world? Are we filled with some of Christ, some yeast, if so, we are part of this world, we have no hope, we have some light, some darkness but we are not useful to Christ, we have lost our flavor, the truth, the only hope for us, and this world.

James.3:11 Does a spring send out from the same opening fresh and bitter water?

3:12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water.
3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom.

Our Shakable World

We can’t be in our flesh on earth without it being shaken, it is impossible! Life on earth is about planning for the future, and that is why when Christ states an everlasting truth that if we believe in him we have eternal life. Our flesh cannot understand that at all, and we know why? The simple truth for our flesh, we cannot accept it either? The flesh cannot know God, God’s world, because it can’t know God’s his world is without the corruption of sin that we are forced to live in, in our flesh, which is darkness, not the light!

Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

We intellectually ascent, but it’s not our truth, it’s not part of us, it is a wonderful thought we want, but we just can’t put off the power of our flesh. Our world is shakable, so are our best laid plans, but not God’s! We are told a truth from Christ, who is the truth, so no lie exist in truth. If then we cannot apply this truth perfectly (if we can’t do the least of these things), we then know within the power of our flesh we have not the ability to prove it is from God, right?
Luke 12:26 If then you aren't able to do even the least things, why are you anxious about the rest?

Stop being anxious about what we eat, drink or put on? Can we do that? Can we raise a family, pay for a home, own a car, have a job and not be anxious? Can we live in this world without planning ahead for safety in our flesh and others? No! We can’t! Yet, we are told being anxious and planning ahead is a sin. We know our time on earth is but a moment, a mist! Do we honestly believe that? We understand intellectually, but do we live in that thought, each moment and each day?

James.4:13 Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow let's go into this city, and spend a year there, trade, and make a profit."
4:14 Whereas you don't know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away.
4:15 For you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that."
4:16 But now you glory in your boasting. All such boasting is evil.
4:17 To him therefore who knows to do good, and doesn't do it, to him it is sin.

Do we love truth? Or are we given to the one time we got it right, or did we? Do we think the onetime nullifies all the time we are anxious? Are we still pleasing men, in convincing others of our righteousness and faith?

Let’s be honest, we are not unshakable whatsoever, we lead others to unshakable power of Christ and his Kingdom.

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
What We Honestly Have?

We have as sons of the kingdom, the life of Christ that has stop the judgment of our fallen flesh. Such is God’s truth, found in underserved kindness, that is, get this, unmerited kindness, why? Because we don’t have merit in our flesh to pay God for his Son’s life, to be part of his unshakable kingdom.
What honestly do we have? Now get this, rethink it all? Faith, not in ourselves, or this world, not in our flesh to do what is correct and controlling it perfectly like false religion teaches that how we please God.

Yes, we so want to be perfect and clean, all those loving God want that so much, don’t they? But why are we constantly shaken into fear and trembling, why can’t we plan ahead like God, and make all things we say and do come true? Why do we find humiliation in our flesh so often? Well, for some it’s hard to understand, but in the days of Christ own perfect flesh, without sin he found humiliation!

What is in our flesh is not life, what is in Christ is life, eternal life right this minute, which, do we honestly put faith in? Do we get it, we have life if we don’t have a time frame, plan to prove our love for God, think hard and long about all this, but none of it matters not even this writing. What matters is you and me putting faith in Christ power, not in our own, his merit, this minute we have life.

John 6:29 Jesus answered them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent."

1 John 5:13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God

God knows our heart, he is not put off in our weakness of our sinful flesh. He has chosen not to judge those sins, knowing what we just cannot accept in our flesh. We cannot stop sinning in our flesh, we can act like we have, speak, and even believe we can, but God is greater than our foolishness. God has given us a substitute for our sins, because all are dying in sins, all the world is shaken in this life, don’t be fooled there is no gold at the end of the fleshes rainbow, it will never be good enough, making itself acceptable to God, all that is a lie, an illusion, we must have faith in Christ that all we bring to this program, all are gifts from Christ to us.
We can, and we do, encourage each other in our tribulation to be strong that God cannot forget or give up. He has promised his gift of his Son’s life is irrevocable unshakable, when we give out, he is tireless, everlasting, all in our world is going away, like a mist, rather we accept that truth or not? But our faith in Christ is reserved for us, yes, guarded not by flesh, but the power of indestructible life of Christ Jesus. 1 Peter 1:5 who by the power of God are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

1 Peter 1:7 that the proof of your faith, which is more precious than gold that perishes even though it is tested by fire, may be found to result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ--

1 Peter 1:9 receiving the result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

No plan carefully laid, no plan will thought out will save us any more than this life of Christ, Christ is our life, we can never fix the problem of this world, we can be salt to make the suffering of this world, make sense, have a meaning, to help others get through and put trust in Christ. Let us Rest in Christ, don’t be anxious!

Hebrews 13:5 Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you."{Deuteronomy 31:6}
