Chapter 1

The Apostle of Christ Jesus

**** 1Cor.1:1 Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and our brother Sosthenes, 1:2 to the assembly of God which is at Corinth; those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ in every place, both theirs and ours:

Paul an apostle of Jesus Christ, no pretense in Paul's Spirit directed message to his brothers and sisters in Corinthians. He accepted no honor from men, nor did he address them with division of fleshly sects. He thought himself none, but his appointment by God to be an apostle of Christ, and by the direction of Sosthenes his brother.

1Cor3:4 For when one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," aren't you fleshly?

The Corinthian's congregation of God was full of division of the flesh, brothers and sisters looking to teachers in their flesh over the real teacher of Holy Spirit, by their influential words from the flesh. These division permeated the Spirit fill teachings of Christ, and his apostles causing corruption of yeast into the unleavened bread of Christ. Hence, the bread of life that they must have to live in Spirit and truth, and be taught by the anointing Spirit for the entire body of Christ, and what is that?

John 6:33 For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world."

1 Corinthians 5:6 Your boasting is not good. Don't you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?

1 John 2:27 As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don't need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.

The anointing oil of God poured out onto the new king's head, its ran down onto all the body of the king. One Spirit, one faith, one anointing, one head of the body, one mouth of the body, all must be one; Christ in all the body as the king, and the king living in all his body members, no division of the lust of the flesh are found in Christ like the world (a body of flesh which is the world) dying by teaching of the flesh in Satan world, the world these brothers and sisters had been translated out of into a new world of the Christ kingdom in love, the love of the Father and his great mercy.

Ephesians 2:3 among whom we also all once lived in the lust of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.

James.3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth.
3:15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.

Colossians 3:1 If then you were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God.

If these brothers and sisters were the foundation of faith born again from the old corruption of their flesh into a new living way of Christ made part of his Spirit body, the temple of God, they would hear the voice of their Master, head, one Shepard, Christ Jesus speaking truth and Spirit through his apostle Paul. For there is no division in the body of Christ all are taught by the same Spirit of the body.

Division does not exist in the body of Christ, it exist in our flesh, and its lust for the works of the flesh. If any had motives of gain for the flesh, for greatness, the power of the Spirit in Christ would reveal it, exposing it as darkness. If teachers were teaching from their own originality, and not from the will of God in Christ Jesus, it would be shown to be foolish wisdom of this world.

John 10:16 I have other sheep, which are not of this fold.{Isaiah 56:8} I must bring them also, and they will hear my voice. They will become one flock with one shepherd.

John 10:30 I and the Father are one."

John 17:21 that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you sent me.

1 Corinthians 8:6 yet to us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we live through him.

1 Corinthians 10:17 Because there is one loaf of bread, we, who are many, are one body; for we all partake of the one loaf of bread.

1 Corinthians 12:8 For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;

1 Corinthians 12:11 But the one and the same Spirit works all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires.

1 Corinthians 12:12 For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ. 12:13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all given to drink into one Spirit.
Christ did not come to cause unity in our flesh, Christ came to cause unity in one place that has always been unified, and in peace, in the Spirit of God, for he is love, and all that comes from love is a gift of love without division of the flesh. The owning of something beyond love is not the law of Christ that these brothers and sister were called into.

John 13:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, just like I have loved you; that you also love one another.

Rom.13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. 13:9 For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not give false testimony," "You shall not covet,"{TR adds "You shall not give false testimony,"}{Exodus 20:13-15,17; Deuteronomy 5:17-19,21} and whatever other commandments there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."{Leviticus 19:18}
13:10 Love doesn't harm a neighbor. Love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.

Colossians 1:13 who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love;

Ephesians 4:15 but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ; 4:16 from whom all the body, being fitted and knit together through that which every joint supplies, according to the working in measure of each individual part, makes the body increase to the building up of itself in love.

Sadly, division will be caused by the apostle Paul's Spirit directed words, it would cause a fire to the flesh, and its selfish lust, it will cause division for some, but a readjustment for others into the life of Christ. Paul would not uses words of wisdom, but the power he had been given by God, the power of God in truth, and Spirit to correct those loving their heavenly Father YHWH.
1 Corinthians 2:4 My speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 2:5 that your faith wouldn't stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

1 Corinthians 4:20 For the Kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

1 Corinthians 5:4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, you being gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ.

John 1:14 The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Revelation 19:13 He is clothed in a garment sprinkled with blood. His name is called "The Word of God."

Heb.4:12 For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 4:13 There is no creature that is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

These brothers and sisters had received an anointing by the power of God, through the Word of God, Christ Jesus, not part of this world. They must, as we must be readjusted in the mind of Christ (Spirit lead) not the thinking of our flesh, that is, weak and corrupted, and hated by God. What God had given them freely was because of his love, for God is love. God's love is a treasure surpassing all that is in the world, how should one then conduct themselves in the house of God? We shall soon find out by listening to the apostles Spirit directed words through the mouth of Christ to his body in the book of Corinthian's!
Matthew 13:44 "Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found, and hid. In his joy, he goes and sells all that he has, and buys that field.

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

Revelation 3:22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies."

1 Peter 4:17 For the time has come for judgment to begin with the household of God. If it begins first with us, what will happen to those who don't obey the Good News of God?

Matthew 12:25 Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.

Lets us listen to what the Spirit says to the congregation, if we are of the flesh, we will then judge Paul's words from our flesh as evil, but if we are of the Spirit of God created for the body of Christ for God's good works we will delight in the power of Christ kingdom found in Paul and us!

Ephesians 2:19 So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God.

Hebrews 12:28 Therefore, receiving a Kingdom that can't be shaken, let us have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe.

Grace and Peace

****1Cor.1:3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

For without grace, unmerited kindness, and/or undeserved kindness neither can there be peace for us, or the body of Christ with God. Lets us recall; words from our bibles are not peace with God, they are but words in denying the lack of peace in us, denying the truth for evil feelings to prove we are right with God. Those feeling are a lie that deny the truth of the Holy Spirit which is peace.

James3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth.
3:15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.
3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 3:18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

Peace is the fruit of God, war and lying is the fruit of the flesh. These brothers and sisters were deluding themselves in self-importance in their lust to be teachers while denying the very truth of God Holy Spirit peace. Their self aggrandizing was more important to them than repenting and having the love of God fill their hearts with His peace.

1 Corinthians 14:33 for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace. As in all the assemblies of the saints,

Why grace is so offensive to the flesh lacking the peace of God? Why is it so insignificant to the fleshly minded person? Because grace is a gift, it is not earned, so it holds no gain for the flesh; one cannot ask for payment, rights, and/or power, grace is not of this world, or can the world know grace, undeserved kindness is given freely to all those asking God for his gift of love, Christ Jesus.

1 John 4:5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them.

John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, and the world didn't recognize him.

Without grace, that is, unmerited kindness, which is the very life giving blood of the Son of God, given too us undeservingly we have no peace with God. For without the gift of Christ life, we have no redemption from our judgment. We have what the world has, the works of the flesh in division, fights, and envies. in misleading ourselves and others calling that the peace of God because we uses bible teaching. The same fatal flaw that all flesh makes, the very flaw God's own people made in the flesh in rejecting the gift of life for the power to prove themselves righteous in their own flesh by works of law. All the foundation of Christ stays standing on grace, no other foundation can be laid by man's goodness, for none are righteous all fall short of God's glory, but the righteous life of Jesus Christ.

Colossians 1:20 and through him to reconcile all things to himself, by him, whether things on the earth, or things in the heavens, having made peace through the blood of his cross.

Rom.10:2 For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.
10:3 For being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn't subject themselves to the righteousness of God.
10:4 For Christ is the fulfillment{or, completion, or end} of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

The flesh will legalize God's words into words of judgment, fearful judgments of the flesh, but fleshes power is trivial its not the power of Christ and his kingdom which power are unutterable words that cannot be utter in the flesh, the peace of God, Christ Jesus for us is raise into a glorious freedom of God's peace, not known or found on this earth in the flesh.

1Cor. 2:4 My speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
2:5 that your faith wouldn't stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. 2:6 We speak wisdom, however, among those who are full grown; yet a wisdom not of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, who are coming to nothing. 2:7 But we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, the wisdom that has been hidden, which God foreordained before the worlds for our glory, 2:8 which none of the rulers of this world has known. For had they known it, they wouldn't have crucified the Lord of glory. 2:9 But as it is written, "Things which an eye didn't see, and an ear didn't hear, which didn't enter into the heart of man, these God has prepared for those who love him."{Isaiah 64:4} 2:10 But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

The words uttered by Christ are the power of the living God incorruptible and everlasting life giving Spirit, none will go forth without cause and effect, none goes to wasted as do the many pointless words from the power our flesh, which speaks many words to build up the will in our flesh alienated from the God of peace; twisting words into make gains for the flesh.

1 Timothy 6:5 constant friction of people of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. Withdraw yourself from such.{NU omits "Withdraw yourself from such."}

No matter, all the foundation of God stays standing by God's unmerited kindness, none rejecting God's grace without losing the peace of God in their lives. Those not of God's household will have their fruits shown up in division, in works of the flesh, denying the very power of God; thinking they are wise wrangling and fighting over words of their flesh, deluding themselves that they are God's mouth piece on earth by teaching from their flesh words of their bibles, lacking and proving false to the power of God in peace; causing fear of judgment in themselves and those they teach, they are but apostles of the flesh in self-righteous, which flesh is of no value to God, a flesh he has destroyed for those of his household in his free gift of his love, (Grace) Christ Jesus, who is wisdom and power of God.

2 John 1:3 Grace, mercy, and peace will be with us, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

1 Peter 1:2 according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, that you may obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with his blood: Grace to you and peace be multiplied.

James 3:18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

Hebrews 12:14 Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord,

Hebrews 13:20 Now may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, our Lord Jesus.

2 Timothy 2:22 Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 May the God of peace himself sanctify you completely. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 1:19 and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might.

Thanking God For Works or Grace?

****1Cor.1:4 I always thank my God concerning you, for the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus;
1:5 that in everything you were enriched in him, in all speech and all knowledge;

When we consider the Corinthian congregation let us always be mindful of the single problem that permeated their thinking, and what was that? A mixing of fleshly thinking into the wisdom of God, which is for these brothers and sisters, Christ Jesus.

1Cor.1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:

The flesh puts things into camps evil and good, so it easy to judged the weaknesses of these brothers and sisters as though we are better, but the truth is, they like, us, hold what is common in all people the power of our flesh that lust against the Spirit of God.

When reading Paul's letter to the Corinthian's we are better served in our thinking that nothing good dwells in our flesh, no more so than these brothers and sister in their flesh who were having their faith perfected in the same trials we experience in our own flesh. Let us be thankful that God allowed such condition to be forthrightly written about his children so me might be adjusted in our own minds and hearts.

Heb.12:1 Therefore let us also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.

Heb.12:6 For whom the Lord loves, he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives."{Proverbs 3:11-12}

Grace is the key; grace take the power away from our flesh, a person cannot boast in grace in their flesh, they cannot enslave another person if they are in grace and have the power of grace in their own life. Our flesh is not found in grace, grace is beyond the redemption of our flesh, grace is of the Spirit, the flesh redemption is another Good News not of Christ. However, such teaching of flesh are not new at all it is the same old flesh created from the first lie. A simple lie, at that, that mankind could be separate from God by his own power and goodness and have eternal life that is not the grace at all!

Romans 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 1:18 For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but to us who are saved it is the power of God.

1 Corinthians 2:5 that your faith wouldn't stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

Ultimately, that is what was being taught once we strip our brothers and sisters of the gift of grace we have nothing left by salvation by works we do. It is that gift of grace, which is, the gift of God's love, the greatest gift of all, the life of his own Son Christ Jesus that is unmerited kindness, the grace of God that we cannot earn on earth by any human effort.

2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves.

2 Corinthians 12:9 He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.

Ephesians 1:19 and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might .

It is the life of Christ that all the gifts of God come too us from, when we mixed those gifts into the spirit of our fallen flesh, all we can do is perfunctory works, buy our efforts, and mundane redundancy in actions to earn gifts that are freely given us by the grace of God. This is the starting point of Paul's letter, the foundation stone all other truth stands upon. But were these brothers and sisters going to be that honest with themselves, were they going to love the light, that is, come to the light so they works be reproved in God's wisdom, Christ Jesus? Or rather be like the Jews whom flesh was proud in works of law, thinking the they had made themselves right with God by their own good efforts? Nevertheless, rather understood or not they were the house of God that out come is predeterminer!

1Cor. 3:15 If any man's work is burned, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, but as through fire. 3:16 Don't you know that you are a temple of God, and that God's Spirit lives in you?
3:17 If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for God's temple is holy, which you are.

The faucet of the waters of life does not exist on earth in the wisdom of men, in the wisdom of our flesh. No! Those waters are death dealing waters although sweet and loved by our flesh, and worshiped in this world. The faucet of waters of life must come from the gifts of God, to shut off God's water for gifts of the flesh thinking those gifts are the gifts of the Spirit is exactly the first lie that brought with it death. Dead works are not works of life, half gifts from the spirit of flesh are just that from the spirit of the flesh, not the life giving Spirit of God found in Jesus Christ.

John 6:63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

Satan was created as a perfect son of God, but when did he start doing dead works? Stop and think? You see, works produce something, they take real time, energy, effort, on our part, sometime much education. Yes, many of these Paul spoke to were putting out great efforts in knowledge in gifts found in the talent of mankind's flesh. But the question was? When, and at what point did Satan start doing dead works?

When he went out of God's mind into his own mind and started thinking he was the creator of his own eternal life by his own efforts. Dead works! Yes, works not of God, but of self, labeled by; tagging them with words from God. The kingdom of God is not in words alone, but in the power of God, do we grasp that meaning? The flesh uses words, but they are not the power of God. The power of God comes too us in Holy Spirit from the source of Holy Spirit for us, and that is, in Christ life the temple of the living God.

2 Peter 1:3 seeing that his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue;

The power of God is first of all a gift, not a obligation, or a work of law, or something we mus muster in ourselves by human efforts, it is a gift freely given us by faith. The flesh steal that glory, it lust for that glory it takes what is rightfully God's, his freely given gifts of his love and makes it about self, just as Satan the Devil did. There is nothing for nothing in the flesh, but the Spirit set us free.

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn't receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

If these brothers and sisters went beyond grace they would be in the same old wisdom of this world, what is the wisdom of this world? It is the flesh of men, some of those men highly influenced by the power of wicked spirit force in heavenly places. The world rejects grace, it does not know God's gift of unmerited kindness, because it does not exist in our flesh, it can't, if it exist only in words written on paper and not in our hearts of God's anointed by the power of God; then divisions of self-importance would permeate the unleavened bread of Christ who is God's grace a rare hard to find pearl on this earth.

Matt.3:44 "Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found, and hid. In his joy, he goes and sells all that he has, and buys that field. 13:45 "Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who is a merchant seeking fine pearls, 13:46 who having found one pearl of great price, he went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

Confirmed In You

****1Cor.1:6 even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:
1:7 so that you come behind in no gift; waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ; 1:8 who will also confirm you until the end, blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1:9 God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. [/b]

Here is an enduring truth if we place our hope in anything less then Christ our hearts and dreams will come to great disappointment and possibly our faith will be ruined as well? The power Satan has over mankind is found in the flesh, the same flesh of Eve whom he deceived and ruined her life, and her husbands.

Isaiah 29:14 therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvelous work among this people, even a marvelous work and a wonder; and the wisdom of their wise men will perish, and the understanding of their prudent men will be hidden."

That is the slippery slope that each one of God's anointed are faced with they are given an abundance of help from above, but the power of the flesh in sight and approval of men is so powerful that it has misleads the whole world.

Jeremiah 9:23 Thus says Yahweh, Don't let the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, don't let the rich man glory in his riches;

Christ through the apostle Paul's calls us to mind we have been confirmed by Spirit “in us” there is no gift, i.e., of the Holy Spirit that is lacking in the Holy Spirit, which confirms us from the beginning of our anointing. The Spirit is our truth, nothing “in the flesh” confirms us, although, many want the confirmation of men in flesh over the seal of truth of the Spirit. How easily these brothers and sisters in Christ at Corinthian's forgot the truth confirmed in them was not by the approval of men, but just as it is written by the power of the living God.

Daniel 1:20 In every matter of wisdom and understanding, concerning which the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters who were in all his realm.

Daniel 2:20 Daniel answered, Blessed be the name of God forever and ever; for wisdom and might are his.

To greedily lust and fight with flesh to defend flesh, and their ability, or authority to teach, as if something lacked in Holy Spirit for God's anointed, was, and is, the wisdom of this world, and it great leader, scholars, those placed in high position in the mind's of men, which is to no avail for God's anointed, for from conception flesh and blood had nothing to do with God's wisdom in them (by Spirit), or the power of any flesh whatsoever upon this earth, they were bought from this earth not by the will of men, but by the will of God for his divine purposes in Christ by Spirit!

Matthew 12:42 The queen of the south will rise up in the judgment with this generation, and will condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold, someone greater than Solomon is here.

Acts.6:10 They weren't able to withstand the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke.
6:11 Then they secretly induced men to say, "We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses and God."

1 Corinthians 1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:

Should one throw away such freedom to be enslaved again to the whims and teachings coming from flesh minds of men captivated by their own sel importance over the love of God? This was not an option for a child of God, not a decision that needed to be made, this is not question of the Sprit, the Spirit says the flesh is against the Spirit of God, even if its cloaked itself in righteousness by the words coming from the mouth of a fleshly teacher.

1 Corinthians 2:6 We speak wisdom, however, among those who are full grown; yet a wisdom not of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, who are coming to nothing.

1 Corinthians 2:7 But we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, the wisdom that has been hidden, which God foreordained before the worlds for our glory,

There wasn't anything they could obtain to higher than Christ this truth of the Spirit in them. There was no side show, something missing as if one must go beyond the teaching of Holy Spirit into some other deep truth to now know about God and Christ in Spirit and truth.

Ephesians 3:10 to the intent that now through the assembly the manifold wisdom of God might be made known to the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places.

Colossians 2:3 in whom are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge hidden.

James 1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.

Contentment, sanctification, resting, faith are not word owned by the flesh, the flesh is against the Spirit it must stir up trouble to feel its doing something for God, it can't rest in faith and the strength (power) of the Lord. The flesh “cannot” be in-subjection to God, and his Holy Spirit. The flesh lives in fear of death, of the fearful judgments found in all flesh, flesh it can't trust anything let alone God invisible present. What is the truth of the heart, why brag and lie against the truth for fears of our flesh?

1 Corinthians 7:23 You were bought with a price. Don't become bondservants of men.

2 Peter 2:1 But false prophets also arose among the people, as false teachers will also be among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master who bought them, bringing on themselves swift destruction.
What drives a person to preach? What makes them contentious, pushing to make a point, to prove a point, Holy Spirit or the spirit of the person in them? These brothers and sisters were to find out that all the effort in their flesh did not justify them; all their effort in fighting with one another was not in Christ, they would find out the flesh is dead, and Christ will not uphold it, he will not bless it, or condone it ungodly actions. Test will come many of them for those in the flesh, having the Christ in them. Some would soon see who is a approved not by man's approval, but Holy Spirit, and the difference of those who were just using words, and not the power of God's Kingdom, Christ Jesus. Anything less than Christ is an act of loose conduct for these brothers and sisters.

1 Corinthians 3:13 each man's work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man's work is.

1 Corinthians 11:19 For there also must be factions among you, that those who are approved may be revealed among you.

2 Corinthians 10:18 For it isn't he who commends himself who is approved, but whom the Lord commends.

1 Thessalonians 2:4 But even as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News, so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, who tests our hearts.

2 Corinthians 13:5 Test your own selves, whether you are in the faith. Test your own selves. Or don't you know as to your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you?--unless indeed you are disqualified.

For those in Christ of the Spirit the fire had started, could they under go their baptism by fire, the baptism of Holy Spirit? Absolutely, they could they have the promise in them, but that fire will become very intense for those trying to quench it with fleshly thoughts. For the Spirit consume the flesh, and it thoughts, flesh can't stand in the house of God which is who they were. They are the living sacrifice consumed by the fire of Jah! Nothing was lacking in their anointing, the only lack is found in the flesh, the lack Satan made Eve feel, the same trickery he was putting upon these brothers and sisters. Nothing lacked for Eve, not one thing good, would they and us fall for the same scam and ignore the living truth in us?

Levitius 3:5 Aaron's sons shall burn it on the altar on the burnt offering, which is on the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

Contentions Division

What is ownership, isn't it the very concept of creation of man and woman, ownership of each other that they become one, one flesh before God indicating ownership of each other? How could those in Christ think for one moment that they could intermingle there headship in Christ which is far greater than ownership in our flesh and be faithful?

Rom.7:2 For the woman that has a husband is bound by law to the husband while he lives, but if the husband dies, she is discharged from the law of the husband.

1 Corinthians 7:4 The wife doesn't have authority over her own body, but the husband. Likewise also the husband doesn't have authority over his own body, but the wife.

Were they not one in Christ? In other words, they were purchased from this earth, from their own life, which old life wass put to death in Christ;. they were raised up in new life in Christ, as his body members in front of whom? God! How could one belong to another name and be faithful to Christ? Now think? If one could not be baptized into Paul and be faithful to Christ, then how could one be baptized into some religion, and belong to Christ?

2 Corinthians 11:2 For I am jealous over you with a godly jealousy. For I married you to one husband, that I might present you as a pure virgin to Christ.

Ephesians 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body.

Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

So will are defending flesh, or something we think is right in our religion, a religion not married to Christ, is that the job of those in Christ as God's personal ambassadors to the nations of our earth? The apostles Paul is going to address this issue in his letter to Corinthian's it no small matter; he called this problem just what it is, a work of the flesh, causing divisions! How can one defend a teacher in the flesh and belong to their group, and be in Christ our headship which is the only thing rightfully Christ body can defend as truth?

1 Peter 4:11 If anyone speaks, let it be as it were the very words of God. If anyone serves, let it be as of the strength which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

1 John 2:19 They went out from us, but they didn't belong to us; for if they had belonged to us, they would have continued with us. But they left, that they might be revealed that none of them belong to us.
Romans 1:6 among whom you are also called to belong to Jesus Christ;

The flesh never gets is right, it always put the emphasis on the wrong thing, it never hits the mark of truth, and Spirit, it always gets it backwards, each and every time. It puts man above God, it puts man's goodness, and his teaching before God, and Christ. There is no Church, and any congregation of God on earth found in a religion that is Christ, there is no substitute kingdom filling in for Christ until he returns, they is no group specially formed by God where we can falsely think and teach waiting until God's Son Christ Jesus decides to rule. All that thinking is of the flesh, and is made more important by the flesh than the Christ. That is the teaching that causes division and stumbling of the little one for glory of men which glory of men is yeast, corrupting teaching that permeate into ruining the unleavened bread of Christ make them Babylonish religious worship of men in their flesh as messiah's.

John 7:18 He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory, but he who seeks the glory of him who sent him is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

John 8:50 But I don't seek my own glory. There is one who seeks and judges.

John 8:54 Jesus answered, "If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say that he is our God.

Matthew 23:8 But don't you be called 'Rabbi,' for one is your teacher, the Christ, and all of you are brothers.

A good profound teacher is not Christ,just because they are good with words, making a point that is not Christ, the kingdom of God is not about words, it about the power of Christ indestructible life in us, Christ is the Word of God. People are deceived by words, not the indestructible life of Christ, the whole earth is deceived by words coming from every source of propaganda and false teaching by someone trying to make a name for themselves including wicked spirit force in heavenly places.

1 Corinthians 2:5 that your faith wouldn't stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

Words without Spirit and truth steal the glory from God and give them to men in their flesh. There is no history of the great building projects made by the apostles, not one! Nor some great religion they started, from anyone of them, nor did they teach others to do that, their works were in Christ, and none other. Those of the flesh (the world) have stolen Christ words and works by pleasing men in the flesh for in sight worship, to make a name on earth after the apostles died off the earth, bvut their true hearts were exposed by their works and/or fruits as a corrupt tree.

Why did God set up the foundation of the apostles of Christ the way he did? Because Christ and those that belong to him are not of this world, not ib religions, its building projects, it governments, plain and simple. That is the message which is inner-laced throughout the Greek scriptures; we blind ourselves anytime we make ourselves or any man more important than the invisible life of Christ in us. Few will find it, Christ ask us a specific question which is not a joke something we all need to think about seriously if we can? Will he find faith on earth when he returns? There is much faith in men, in religion, in government, in some business, lots of faith by sight, a faith people will die for, no kidding in a heart beat.

Romans 10:2 For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.

Yes, they will defend fericily a man, a woman, a religion, but Christ is not known by this world, don't be fooled that is a Holy Spirit statement found throughout the Greek scriptures stated by Christ and his apostles. Now if they themselves were not known by this world, the question is why? We are not talking about written words in the bibles all the world has, not written religious information, movies, and TV; how were they not known?

John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, and the world didn't recognize him. (the world was the Jews, Christ was sent to no others but the Jews.)

1 John 4:5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them.
1 John 5:19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

All false religion is onething for sure, part of this world, this world is flesh and blood, its that simple, this world has published from the bible many words of the flesh that cannot know God, mixing those words into what religious people think is Christ and his apostles teaching making those teaching part of this world. Yeast corrupted teaching that lead people to where? To men, and woman in a religion for purposes of finding salvation, in their putting faith in governments, in some organization for help, not in Christ indestructible life, not in the source of living waters, the bread of life that feeds our spiritual lives from above. If we are in Christ, we are not part of this world our food does come from this world, we can't be both, we can't be light, and darkness, we can't be flesh and living off the teachings of the flesh and be in Spirit feeding off the life of Christ Jesus.

1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith.

1 John 4:9 By this God's love was revealed in us, that God has sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

1 John 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.

1 John 3:1 Behold, how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn't know us, because it didn't know him.

Those belonging to Christ are not known by this world, they are then the center of attack by wicked spirit force because it is the kingdom of Christ that will bring an end to their world. Those of false religion are upholding and building of this world, in one way or another. The question is, will Christ find the true faith on earth when he returns?

Hebrews 12:28 Therefore, receiving a Kingdom that can't be shaken, let us have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe.

Luke 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them quickly. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?"

The Power of God

**** 1Cor.1:18 For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but to us who are saved it is the power of God.

The flesh our old man does not reside will with foolishness, it neither likes to look foolish or does it want to associate with foolishness. That is a problem with those in Christ that have not the discernment of the Spirit to disgust between flesh, and Spirit (Truth), that is, light and darkness.

James.3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth.
3:15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn't receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

The apostle Paul with the power of the Holy Spirit is addressing the core problem of fleshly thinking among the Corinthian's congregation, if they didn't comprehend by the Spirit (Truth) that the flesh is dead; it is death, and its thinking is against the very life of Christ (The Eternal), the law of the Spirit (Truth), then the power found in the flesh of looking foolish and its fears that drives the whole world would enslave these brothers and sisters into the power of the laws dead in their flesh, so they wouldn't look foolish to the world, i.e., their peers of the world (flesh).

1 Timothy 6:9 But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction.

1 Corinthians 3:18 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool, that he may become wise.

There is no power in death, that is, in the flesh, no matter what greatness of this world wisdom, is sought, and boast in. The power in worldly wisdom is for those living in death of the flesh, for it was the same learned worldly wisdom that killed the Christ. The insidious power of the flesh would permeates the whole lump of Christ the unleavened bread of God, the very utterances of ever word of God mouth that feeds the eternal life of the body of Christ, to these brothers and sisters which had been given the grand and illustrious privilege to become a part of (the Eternal). The life of Christ, separate from this world, who is no part of this world. Nothing in the wisdom of the world is life, it is but a very weak things to our God; lasting but a moment, no more then a drop of water into a bucket, it is an illusion created by the wicked spirit forces in heaven places that make men act like animals upon this earth to obtain to a breathe of time for a mist of greatness that is non-existence in our eternal Father whom weighs the nations of this on his scales of justice as mere dust.

Galatians 3:1 Foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you not to obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was openly set forth among you as crucified?

Isa. 40:6 The voice of one saying, "Cry!" One said, "What shall I cry?" "All flesh is like grass, and all its glory is like the flower of the field.

Yeast of fleshly wisdom, its lust for fame, acceptance and recognition of this world is the same power found in death that the devil fall into, being mislead, misguided for self glory. Yes, it is pride of the flesh, a lack of humility, a lack of modesty, a lack of godly wisdom, a lack of love for God in trading the glorious Creator YHWH for the corruption of men that can't give a person eternal life, it is the lack of faith in God, and a rejection of the gifts of God; for a moment of power in ones own flesh that cannot please God, or know God, or be in subjection to God that these brothers and sisters were fighting to have in promoting fleshly teachers that looked wises in worldly teaching abilities.

2 Corinthians 4:15 For all things are for your sakes, that the grace, being multiplied through the many, may cause the thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.
2 Corinthians 4:17 For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory;

Ephesians 1:6 to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he freely bestowed favor on us in the Beloved,

Ephesians 1:12 to the end that we should be to the praise of his glory, we who had before hoped in Christ:

How these brothers and sisters had missed the truth of the Spirit, the Spirit isn't feed anything from their fleshly minds, it does not embrace corruption as though incorruptibility is nothing! It has no teacher, it is not weak like the flesh so one can subject it to the will of mankind by some worldly wisdom. What were these brothers thinking? The same that had been put to death in their flesh made alive in the Spirit, what is the message is in that?

Ephesians 1:14 who is a pledge of our inheritance, to the redemption of God's own possession, to the praise of his glory.

Ephesians 1:17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him;

What lack of discernment, why weren't these teachers of Christ, the ambassadors of the Spirit teaching them the truth of the Spirit the very thing they boast in of being in the Spirit? Who had bewitched them with such weak and mundane foolishness, it certainly wasn't the Spirit of truth, for the Spirit is the truth?

Ephesians 1:18 having the eyes of your hearts{TR reads "understanding" instead of "hearts"} enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.

Ephesians 3:16 that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man;

Did the power of worldly wisdom given them the power to be born again, into a new creation, had the world give them a new personality in Christ, had it transferred them out corruption of this world into the Son's kingdom of love? Why would one believe death of fleshly thinking is a friend of God, which thinking is the last enemy of God that his Son came to earth died to destroy, what foolishness have they become, what foolishness are their teaching to the Spirit anointed brothers and sisters of Christ?

Philippians 3:21 who will change the body of our humiliation to be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working by which he is able even to subject all things to himself.

Philippians 4:19 My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 3:4 When Christ, our life, is revealed, then you will also be revealed with him in glory.

1 Thessalonians 2:6 nor seeking glory from men (neither from you nor from others), when we might have claimed authority as apostles of Christ.

Enriching The Satisfied

****1Cor.1:4 I always thank my God concerning you, for the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus;
1:5 that in everything you were enriched in him, in all speech and all knowledge; 1:6 even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:

You know its hard to convince someone of the preciousness of grace when they have no desire for it? Its hard to explain the gift of gold, and treasures when a person has no need of it?

Matthew 5:13 "You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has lost its flavor, with what will it be salted? It is then good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under the feet of men.

When a dogs belly is full and fat it cares none for anything until its souls craving come again! The desire and the power of the flesh makes the precious gifts of God foolishness, it does not satisfy the power of the flesh and its cravings.

Psalms 106:14 but gave in to craving in the desert, and tested God in the wasteland.

Jeremiah 17:5 Thus says Yahweh: Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from Yahweh.

Where the heart is, so goes the man, where the truth is, so goes the actions of that same man. The fleshly man cannot understand the love of God, let alone the power of grace given them in the precious blood of Christ Jesus. When the heart is full of the flesh, and its desires, the glory of God is exchanges for the worship of idols found in our flesh.

Jeremiah 25:31 A noise shall come even to the end of the earth; for Yahweh has a controversy with the nations; he will enter into judgment with all flesh: as for the wicked, he will give them to the sword, says Yahweh.

Who would listen the the things of the Spirit Paul was speaking about here in Corinthian's why was the Spirit of God not teaching them the things of the Spirit, wasn't that the question? The Spirit birthed each child of God, it is the Spirit that is the food of the new creation in Christ, it was the Spirit that taught them all things of God, the Spirit.

Ezekiel 21:4 Seeing then that I will cut off from you the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of its sheath against all flesh from the south to the north:

Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.

Why must the prophet of God, Paul, now reprove them in what he had, they had? Why must another man convince another man they are rich, if they are rich? Does the flesh have to do that in this life? How foolishly even the thing hated by God (flesh) does not have to convince a person they have incomparable richest.

Galatians 3:2 I just want to learn this from you. Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?

Galatians 3:5 He therefore who supplies the Spirit to you, and works miracles among you, does he do it by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?

Hebrews 5:11 About him we have many words to say, and hard to interpret, seeing you have become dull of hearing.

Isn't that like explaining to a child values of what hard work has given them in their parents houses? What a shame, yet, to add insult to injury these same unappreciative children were in love with the idea of teachings truth, being teachers of what they thought was Christ.

2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but, having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts;

Hebrews 5:12 For when by reason of the time you ought to be teachers, you again need to have someone teach you the rudiments of the first principles of the oracles of God. You have come to need milk, and not solid food.

What is truth with no values of grace? What is truth if one can't even understand the richest of Christ life in dwelling them? What truth is that? It not of truth of the Spirit! Its not the truth of God, or his love, what truth is that?

2 Peter 2:2 Many will follow their immoral{TR reads "destructive" instead of "immoral"} ways, and as a result, the way of the truth will be maligned.

1 John 2:21 I have not written to you because you don't know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth.

1 John 3:18 My little children, let's not love in word only, neither with the tongue only, but in deed and truth.

1 John 3:19 And by this we know that we are of the truth, and persuade our hearts before him.

Well, plain and simple, its the truth of this world, not knowing God or Christ, why don't they know them? They don't have the Spirit of truth in them. They are separated by knowledge, but knowledge of what? The knowledge the flesh which perverts God's word. They are the weeds claiming to be Christian's, but they are of the flesh, and all of the flesh and its teachings excites them, not the grace of God, not the love of God. It isn't the things of God they earn by merit with, in this case, teaching like the world that causes ones to be looked up to as superior, better, more intelligent, of greater character.

1 John 4:6 We are of God. He who knows God listens to us. He who is not of God doesn't listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

1 John 4:16 We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.

Yes! Of course, the power of the flesh, the food that makes the glory of men more important than the very glory of God. They had no zeal for the Spirit, because they couldn't gain from this world with the Spirit of God. They could not boast in the flesh, they could not make themselves the leader, the teacher. No! All that was stripped and defeated by the Spirit!

1 John 4:11 Beloved, if God loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.

1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God, and knows God.

1 John 2:15 Don't love the world, neither the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father's love isn't in him.

Pitifully, like dogs with full fat bellies the grace the richest they had received from God was just one more meal owed to them for being in the masters household, mundane, set in the corner, in a bowl until another need of craving of their flesh filled their fat full hearts. But like dogs they would defend their territory full or empty attacking and destroying anyone loving the Spirit of God more than this life.

Hebrews 13:5 Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you."{Deuteronomy 31:6}

Revelation 2:4 But I have this against you, that you left your first love.

Everything of the flesh would excite them, and enslave them the only thing resisted was the Spirit that had become foolish to them, and not of their appetite. The appeal of men, the thoughts of men, the Spirit could no longer arouse them into the love of God, just words repeated out of obligation, but not out of Spirit and truth.

Revelation 12:11 They overcame him because of the Lamb's blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn't love their life, even to death.

How does one convince a dog to worship a God that they cannot see and get food from? What dog walk in faith, what dog loves what he cannot see and feel? How do you explain all that is gained in Christ to a dog with no desire for such things? The dog does not think it has all things, if it can't eat it, or feel it he does it care, waiting its next same old craving for a fleshly meal when the craving comes.

Ephesians 4:16 from whom all the body, being fitted and knit together through that which every joint supplies, according to the working in measure of each individual part, makes the body increase to the building up of itself in love.

Ephesians 5:2 Walk in love, even as Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.

**** 1Cor.1:7 so that you come behind in no gift; waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ;
1:8 who will also confirm you until the end, blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1:9 God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord.

The flesh, and sadly that is what these brothers and sister were in, and it was the reason Paul was writing them over division among them because they were walking and thinking in fleshly terms.

1Cor.3:1 Brothers, I couldn't speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly, as to babies in Christ.
3:2 I fed you with milk, not with meat; for you weren't yet ready. Indeed, not even now are you ready,
3:3 for you are still fleshly. For insofar as there is jealousy, strife, and factions among you, aren't you fleshly, and don't you walk in the ways of men?

What is a gift for the flesh, lets talk frank here? It is a boasting right as having gained something by our special abilities we've used to work for. It is a competition earned by competing against others. It is something worked for, study for, gained by the power of our own will, is it not?

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn't receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

However, what these brothers and sisters had lost sight of was when they thought in terms of the flesh they were not walking in Spirit and truth so the had lost the Christ. Gifts in Christ were not given by the will of men, no more so then an apostleship; nothing in Christ was of man's will at all, they had been born by God's power, God's will; all in Christ including the very life of Christ indwelling was a gift of God's love.

Matthew 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers{TR adds ", raise the dead"}, and cast out demons. Freely you received, so freely give.

Romans 3:24 being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus;

1 Corinthians 2:12 But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God.

Ephesians 1:6 to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he freely bestowed favor on us in the Beloved.

Revelation 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" He who hears, let him say, "Come!" He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely.

In other words, one false step put them on the road into death and destruction they had been delivered out of by the power of Christ life, how much did they appreciate the glory of God indwelling them through the life of Christ, were they going to be foolish, and fall back into sleep in the flesh dead in Christ, or let Christ confirm them by his being their wisdom, sanctification, and righteousness? Could anything in Christ be approached with less then faith in God's love?

1Cor.11:27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks the Lord's cup in a manner unworthy of the Lord will be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.
11:28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of the cup.
11:29 For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, if he doesn't discern the Lord's body.
11:30 For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and not a few sleep.
11:31 For if we discerned ourselves, we wouldn't be judged.

You see if they turned back to the weak and beggarly things of the flesh all they taught would be tainted with yeasts, half truths created from the flesh that God tells mankind is a lie, such a lie that a person cannot even direct their steps in this world, such a lie that they certainly have no grand teaching ability to direct the lives of God's anointed children.

Romans 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

1 Corinthians 5:7 Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.

Soon as is true of all flesh they would account the faithfulness of men as God's faithful, light and darkness, good works and bad and removing the power of Christ for the power of mankind's will, making everything a false kingdom on earth where all is done and taught by the power of the flesh once more.

Romans 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

1 Corinthians 1:29 that no flesh should boast before God.

2 Corinthians 1:17 When I therefore was thus determined, did I show fickleness? Or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be the "Yes, yes" and the "No, no?"

2 Corinthians 5:16 Therefore we know no one after the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.

Is God faithful, or was he like us sometimes faithful, and sometimes unfaithful, how would they know truth without the faithfulness of God in them by Christ life? You see the subject is easy to understand if we love truth, Christ, more than this world, and all the lies told by corruptible flesh.

James.1:6 But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed.
1:7 For let that man not think that he will receive anything from the Lord. 1:8 He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

James. 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers.
1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.
1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

1 John 1:5 This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

God is faithful but he is not when we are in our flesh, why? Because the flesh oppose the Spirit it lust against the Spirit so a little of flesh cannot benefit us at all. Sadly, these brothers and sister did not believe that their flesh was all bad against God they could no longer determine what was truth, and what was the lie. They sought as our world does leaders and teachers that could keep them impressed in the flesh in sight worship by works of law.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

1 Corinthians 5:6 Your boasting is not good. Don't you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?

James 3:5 So the tongue is also a little member, and boasts great things. See how a small fire can spread to a large forest!

****1Cor.1:10 Now I beg you, brothers,{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."} through the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Where does division start? The bible makes this point very clear by introducing the sinful flesh into God's word, Christ is the Word of God that was speaking to these brothers and sisters. However, it seemed the teachers of flesh by prominent teachers had become more important than unity of Christ for them.

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.

One cannot speak the same thing in unity in the flesh, flesh has never in the history of mankind achieved unity of thought even within the same family let alone in congregations of people. Sadly, the standard of the world in its fleshly thinking in it false unity in being a free thinker was not the standard of the Holy Spirit.

Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.

You see, these brothers and sisters had received the Spirit of God at their birth of being a new creation in Christ so they clearly understood the peace and unity of God they'd tasted it, and felt the overseer of their soul by the witness of the Holy Spirit that excel all thought of flesh and its division.

1 Corinthians 14:33 for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace. As in all the assemblies of the saints.

Ephesians 2:14 For he is our peace, who made both one, and broke down the middle wall of partition.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

They understood why Christ was at perfect peace and harmony with his Father YHWH on earth for Christ stated it in his prayer at John Chapter Seventeen, and what was that? That the unity is of the Spirit not the flesh, because Christ was in the Father and the Father was in him. Let remember Christ also stated that he did nothing of his own initiative.

John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

John 6:63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

John.17:21 that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you sent me.

So clearly these super fine teacher where doing things from their own initiative and calling it teaching of the Spirit, yet the fruit on the tree showed it was anything but the same old flesh that has always been proud and arrogant in usurping Christ headship and still is today.

The division should have been a defeat correcting them that they were on the wrong path, but as the flesh is, it does not defeat it fights harder and longer to have its way prove right like a dog on a bone or a goat on top of a hill knocking all other off!

2 Corinthians 4:2 But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

The truth does not lie if there is division then they were not in Christ they were in the flesh, for in the Father and Son are in perfect unity and peace, and those in Christ should be at one in God and Christ having the headship of Christ over them.

To lie goes against the truth, to cover that up so one can make a showy in the flesh by excusing such conduct for the greater good is something God or Christ never did!

1 Corinthians 12:25 that there should be no division in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.

Those in the body of Christ only have one mouth in that body and proof they are in that one body with one mouth is they all speak in agreement not because they are forced for fear of retaliation that is the standard of the flesh in this world through false unity by evil men and of the evil slave that happily will beat another if they do not agree with them.

3 John 1:11 Beloved, don't imitate that which is evil, but that which is good. He who does good is of God. He who does evil hasn't seen God.

Jude 1:10 But these speak evil of whatever things they don't know. What they understand naturally, like the creatures without reason, they are destroyed in these things.

But these brothers and sisters were birthed by God's love, not from the flesh, which means not of the will of man, or the loins of Adam carrying with them the death of sin. No! They were birthed of God through his Son Christ Jesus the last Adam without a fleshly body but by and endless life the living word of God, Christ Jesus.

Hebrews 10:20 by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

Colossians 3:10 and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.

Simply, put they had put the glory of men over the power and glory of Christ which should have been so precious to them that they knew no one by the flesh any longer just as Jehovah God didn't know them by the flesh any longer. Perhaps, the apostle Paul under the power of Christ headship could moved them to shame?

2 Corinthians 5:16 Therefore we know no one after the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.
