1 Corinthians 10:23 "All things are lawful for me," but not all things are profitable. "All things are lawful for me," but not all things build up.
The question is? Were all things “lawful” for the apostle Paul? Of course that would mean that nothing was unlawful for Paul! Let's not mixes words here, do we want the truth, or not? You see, despite what we may think or feel the entire truth of Christ coming, the reason for the writing of the Christian's Greeks Scriptures was to record for us how Christ freed us from the judgment of our flesh, i.e., sin!
John 8:32 You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."{Psalm 119:45}
John 8:36 If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.
The raging controversy for the first century Christian's was? How could one be freed of judgment in their flesh and not uses that freedom for acts of loose conduct in their flesh? It much like the immunity given to diplomats while serving as an ambassadors in foreign country, their accountability is found in there own country, not in the foreign country sent to. Moreover, their justice is found in their own country, and not the one sent to. Justice is not found in the country they are serving as an ambassador in. Their fidelity is to their own country laws, but some of their countries laws may well be unlawful within the country they are serving in, but they are not the same laws or can the two be mixed as the same!
2 Corinthians 5:20 We are therefore ambassadors on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
Subsequently, they may chose not to practice their laws, their lawful right (in their own country) because it would not profit them in their relationship with the country they are serving in. But an ambassador they should always know the difference of the two countries laws, and be ever faithful to their own country when push comes to shove even if it cost them being killed or expelled from the foreign country. But they should never become so empty headed that they start teaching, and practicing the laws of a foreign land binding them upon their own peoples, or vise a versa upon the people they are serving in a foreign country, as though they are superior and legally binding upon them. Such actions by the ambassadors would polluted his own people by illegal laws drawing them away from faithfulness to their own country, costing them freedoms, and eventually the loss of the very thing that holds them together as a country.
1 John 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.
1 John 4:5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them.
Since the apostasy (fleshly teaching, that is, the world) contaminated the first century congregation of God earthly representatives (ambassadors) substituting for Christ; polluting them by this very subject by making God's anointed subjected to laws of flesh, which flesh is against the laws of the Spirit; those yeast teaching permeated the whole lump of Spirit filled teachings of truth, just as Christ prophecy it would happen.
But Not All Things Are Profitable First, those anointed by God's Holy Spirit had the life of Christ indwelling them, that is, the Spirit of sanctification. The power of the kingdom of God was not in word only, but in the righteousness of Christ who is a dynamic living incorruptible life spirit that was the power found in God's anointed ambassador's
Colossians 1:13 who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love;
Colossians 2:10 and in him you are made full, who is the head of all principality and power;
1 Corinthians 4:20 For the Kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
Ephesians 1:19 and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might
That is no small measure, Christ living life was far more powerful than any human law for our flesh, in word, or on paper for producing righteousness.
Romans 8:10 If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness.
1 Corinthians 1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:
2 Corinthians 6:7 in the word of truth, in the power of God; by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
Not even the righteous and good law God gave to Moses for his chosen people Israel could match or come close to the powerful position of Christ made into the very image of God for righteousness.
Philippians 1:11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
Philippians 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;
The power of Christ life transformed each anointed child of God into a new creation without sin. In other words, into Christ own righteousness. The apostle Paul, or us, for that matter, is not talking about a lawless people, do we understand that simple primary teaching of Christ?
1 Peter 2:24 who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.
Hebrews 5:13 For everyone who lives on milk is not experienced in the word of righteousness, for he is a baby.
Hebrews 10:1 For the law, having a shadow of the good to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect those who draw near.
The Flesh Does by Nature The Things of The flesh Galatians 3:1 Foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you not to obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was openly set forth among you as crucified?
The nature of our flesh is sin, sin is the fiber of the flesh, it is the grain running through the tree found in all its branches. But the old tree is dead, the law governing the growth of the tree are dead as well, the only thing those laws are good for is the dead tree, not the living tree of Christ Jesus these brothers and sisters had been grafted into.
Romans 11:24 For if you were cut out of that which is by nature a wild olive tree, and were grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree, how much more will these, which are the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?
Galatians 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,"{Deuteronomy 21:23}
How can judging a living tree by the laws of a dead tree be advantageous? How can they be lawful? Conversely, how can they be profitable?
Luke 6:43 For there is no good tree that brings forth rotten fruit; nor again a rotten tree that brings forth good fruit.
The flesh is not judge by the laws of the living tree, for the flesh is dead, it of no value at all to the living tree. What value can laws of the dead tree be to the law of living tree, Spirit?
Jude 1:12 These are hidden rocky reefs in your love feasts when they feast with you, shepherds who without fear feed themselves; clouds without water, carried along by winds; autumn leaves without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy became our father again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
Hebrews 9:14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Colossians 2:13 You were dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh. He made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses,
The confusion that started the apostasy already at work in Paul's time was that brothers and sisters did not distinguish between the Spirit, and the spirit of their own flesh. They understood clearly the spirit of the flesh, but they could not know the things of the Spirit while living by the teachings of laws of the flesh that were for a dead tree, which dead tree was their very own flesh!
Colossians 2:12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.
Ephesians 2:1 You were made alive when you were dead in transgressions and sins.
Ephesians 2:5 even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved.
Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.
The flesh does by nature the things of the flesh, it cannot do by nature the things of the Spirit that is impossible! The flesh is about laws punishing the flesh for its evils deeds, the flesh can also at sometime completely be lawless! So let us not be fooled it can do both at the sametime!
Romans 2:14 (for when Gentiles who don't have the law do by nature the things of the law, these, not having the law, are a law to themselves,
Ephesians 2:3 among whom we also all once lived in the lust of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.
That is where we hear of stories of ruthless gang members having honor among themselves by their rules to punish what they judge evil conduct such as stealing from one another in the gang, when they themselves are robbing people blind. This is how some politician can be helping people while at the sametime be completely corrupt. The flesh by its nature does the things of the flesh.
James 3:6 And the tongue is a fire. The world of iniquity among our members is the tongue, which defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature, and is set on fire by Gehenna.{or, Hell}
2 Peter 1:4 by which he has granted to us his precious and exceedingly great promises; that through these you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust.
Rom.3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one. 3:11 There is no one who understands. There is no one who seeks after God. 3:12 They have all turned aside. They have together become unprofitable. There is no one who does good, no, not, so much as one."{Psalms 14:1-3; 53:1-3; Ecclesiastes 7:20}
In other words, remove all religion, all of its moral values, its teachings of God righteous laws from this earth as though they never existed and we would find the nations still would have just as many laws on the books as they do today.
The nature of our flesh is to judge, by law of the flesh for punishing, making it obey rules.
Romans 2:14 (for when Gentiles who don't have the law do by nature the things of the law, these, not having the law, are a law to themselves.
That fierce nature of the flesh permeated the early Christian's congregation, once the restraint was removed, that is, the power of the Holy Spirit coming from above into congregation of God, the nature of fallen sinful flesh overwhelmed the entire planting of wheat by Holy Spirit until the end of this world.
James.3:11 Does a spring send out from the same opening fresh and bitter water? 3:12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water.
Matt.13:38 the field is the world; and the good seed, these are the children of the Kingdom; and the darnel weeds are the children of the evil one. 13:39 The enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels. 13:40 As therefore the darnel weeds are gathered up and burned with fire; so will it be at the end of this age. 13:41 The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will gather out of his Kingdom all things that cause stumbling, and those who do iniquity, 13:42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
If one thinks its easy to stop weeds by nature that are always encroaching upon the good soil they have no knowledge of the truth of creation itself!
Once For All Time
Paul's flesh was dead in Christ as was each one of his brothers and sisters of God's anointed. Nothing on this earth was unlawful for Paul, or his brothers and sisters. The Holy righteous Spirit in them was not bent on evil, God does not fill a person with evil wicked thought, for he cannot try anyone with evil, because he is not evil, that is, of sin, the sin and lust of our flesh.
James.1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers. 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.
The flesh knows the things of the flesh, that is, its nature, its nature is to sin and do evil, so all things flesh must be meant with punishment. In other words, the flesh must impute evil, because the nature of the flesh is evil. But not the Spirit, the nature of the Spirit is not evil.
1Cor.2:10 But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 2:11 For who among men knows the things of a man, except the spirit of the man, which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God, except God's Spirit. 2:12 But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God. 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things. 2:14 Now the natural man doesn't receive the things of God's Spirit, for they are foolishness to him, and he can't know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1Tim.1:9 as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 1:10 for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine;
The more fleshly the brothers and sisters became the more they had to do by nature the things of the flesh. You see, we must not be fooled no matter how many judgments we have of the flesh, true as they may will be, it has nothing to do with the Spirit, do we actually comprehend that statement?
Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.
The Spirit of God does not dwell in the spirit of our flesh, it dwells in Christ, who dwells in us. We are either in the Spirit or we are in the spirit of our flesh, the two do not commingle, light does not dwells with darkness.
Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.
1 John 4:1 Beloved, don't believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
The death of our flesh in Christ is but once, only one time, for how long? Forever! Does the nature of the flesh accept that truth, can it accept that truth of the Spirit? Absolutely not!
1Cor. 2:14 Now the natural man doesn't receive the things of God's Spirit, for they are foolishness to him, and he can't know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
So we will put this much more graphically in terms so we can understand what Paul was dealing with, being overwhelmed in. The flesh is a wicked sea that cannot calm down it always turning up mud of badness from the creation of sin into our world. Paul, and God's anointed, found themselves on a very small island protected by the wall of Holy Spirit at the center of our earth. The sea of badness constantly crashing, and raging against that invisible wall of Holy Spirit by the great sea of flesh and its nature, its imputing of evil towards all, and Paul and the apostles of Christ were living in faith, and love nothing more.
Isaiah 57:20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea; for it can't rest, and its waters cast up mire and dirt.
If those Paul was helping and teaching did not love Christ in him, and in themselves more than their own flesh they would by nature imputed evil to Paul, but what evil? The same evil the Jews imputed to Christ by the laws for the unrighteous, the law created for sinners in their unrighteous flesh. The laws Christ was not judged by, being righteous a non-sinner. Their faith in God and Christ would be swallowed up by the raging sea covering our world in darkness the flesh.
John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.
Romans 14:10 But you, why do you judge your brother? Or you again, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
John 7:24 Don't judge according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment."
To compound the relentless attacks by the sea of flesh, was many of these brothers and sister were wanting to shore-up the wall around them with laws of the flesh, unwittingly, not knowing it would destroy the Spirit, removing the very restrain that had delivered them out of darkness into the wonderful light. In other words, the more they made rules for the flesh to stop its evil intention within the congregation the more they killed faith in the power of righteousness life of Christ living in them.
Rom.7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were through the law, worked in our members to bring forth fruit to death. 7:6 But now we have been
Rom.7:8 But sin, finding occasion through the commandment, produced in me all kinds of coveting. For apart from the law, sin is dead.
1 Corinthians 6:12 "All things are lawful for me," but not all things are expedient. "All things are lawful for me," but I will not be brought under the power of anything.
1 Corinthians 15:56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
Romans 8:10 If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness.
Leaving Primary Doctrines of Christ
The only way to leave the primary doctrine of Christ that is of the flesh put to death in Christ, once for all times, and for us to stop thinking our flesh is going to be made perfect by laws of the flesh, is if the Holy Spirit allows that to happen, or we are stuck, but why? Because nothing in our flesh can make us do that, if we are in the flesh thinking we are under the laws of the flesh of this world, found in religion, commerce and government nothing in our flesh and those teachings us will move us beyond that point.
Heb. 6:1 Therefore leaving the doctrine of the first principles of Christ, let us press on to perfection--not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, of faith toward God, 6:2 of the teaching of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 6:3 This will we do, if God permits.
Romans 3:20 Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin.
Romans 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;
The birth into a new creation under are under the laws of the Spirit, a new nation, a new kingdom that birth and transformation was done by the power of God's Spirit found in Christ Jesus righteous life, by God loving us first, and giving us the gift of faith, that is, Christ life which Christ faith gives us faith being in his body, and not our own, old dead body without faith. Which faith is a fruit of God's Holy Spirit. We cannot go beyond that if God's does not permit.
Rom.12:3 For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.
All the rules, all the anger over injustice found in religion, and in this world does not more us into making the Holy Spirit teaches us beyond the basic truth of Christ. That is, repentance from dead of works of our flesh found under the laws of the flesh. In other words, we are under the rules of the dead tree thinking we are in the deep things of Christ when all we know is judging the flesh of others, or ourselves.
2Cor. 3:6 who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. 3:7 But if the service of death, written engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the children of Israel could not look steadfastly on the face of Moses for the glory of his face; which was passing away:
2Cor. 3:14 But their minds were hardened, for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains, because in Christ it passes away. 3:15 But to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. 3:16 But whenever one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
2Cor. 4:3 Even if our Good News is veiled, it is veiled in those who perish; 4:4 in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them. 4:5 For we don't preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake;
We make the knowledge of scriptures like a professor, an intellect, an attorney, or a doctor calling them the deep things of Christ. Those are not the deep things of Christ, it is the Spirit that is the deep things of Christ, not knowledge on paper causing a veil of blindness to the Spirit that is endless deep waters issuing from the throne of God bubbling up eternal life, where they thirst no more!
1 John 4:13 By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
1 John 5:6 This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.
2 Corinthians 3:3 being revealed that you are a letter of Christ, served by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tablets of stone, but in tablets that are hearts of flesh.
2 Corinthians 3:8 won't service of the Spirit be with much more glory?
Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.
Our flesh is dead in Christ it does not help us in the Spirit, faith does if it is in one thing, the love of God, and his righteousness for us Christ Jesus. We need not a rule book, a massive religion to legislate laws or we are not in Christ. Christ is our life, not the other way around, if he is not enough, and we are lacking in rules, and commandments, that we need go out of our life Christ, into another spirit of life, the spirit of the flesh we are doing nothing more than dead works.
James. 2:26 For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, even so faith apart from works is dead.
John.15:4 Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can't bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me.
John.6:27 Don't work for the food which perishes, but for the food which remains to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has sealed him." 6:28 They said therefore to him, "What must we do, that we may work the works of God?" 6:29 Jesus answered them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent."
Rom.10:4 For Christ is the fulfillment{or, completion, or end} of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. 10:5 For Moses writes about the righteousness of the law, "The one who does them will live by them."{Leviticus 18:5} 10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith says this, "Don't say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'{Deuteronomy 30:12} (that is, to bring Christ down); 10:7 or, 'Who will descend into the abyss?'{Deuteronomy 30:13} (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead.)" 10:8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart;"{Deuteronomy 30:14} that is, the word of faith, which we preach: 10:9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
The World
The flesh is the world, its that simple, and the flesh is alienated from God, and it can't please God, so it is darkness. Will justice be found in religion? Justice could not be found in many of the congregation Paul wrote to because they were fleshly, they used the justice of the world on the body of Christ a Spirit body not part of this world. How can the flesh judge the things of the Spirit, when it cannot know God or please God?
So should we be shocked to find so much unrighteous injustice in religion? There is no healing in justice for the flesh it is a vast sea that cannot calm down or find the peace of God, for its can't even know the things of the Spirit that being peace! Justice for the flesh is killing more flesh or it can't be at peace in the spirit of the flesh.
James. 4:1 Where do wars and fightings among you come from? Don't they come from your pleasures that war in your members? 4:2 You lust, and don't have. You kill, covet, and can't obtain. You fight and make war. You don't have, because you don't ask. 4:3 You ask, and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures. 4:4 You adulterers and adulteresses, don't you know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. 4:5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who lives in us yearns jealously"?
Flesh does evil to flesh that is why Christ ask us pointedly do we pick figs off a thorn bush? We human damage each other, even the best ones of us do, we put lasting marks on each other. But what does that have to do with the Spirit?
Matt.7:11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!
Matt.7:15 "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. 7:16 By their fruits you will know them. Do you gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles? 7:17 Even so, every good tree produces good fruit; but the corrupt tree produces evil fruit. 7:18 A good tree can't produce evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree produce good fruit.
In other words, the flesh can't let itself be wronged! There is no greater evil to the flesh than letting someone the best of us, wrong us Nothing is more humiliating to fleshes nature it cannot abide long with that.
1Cor. 6:1 Dare any of you, having a matter against his neighbor, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?
1Cor. 6:5 I say this to move you to shame. Isn't there even one wise man among you who would be able to decide between his brothers? 6:6 But brother goes to law with brother, and that before unbelievers! 6:7 Therefore it is already altogether a defect in you, that you have lawsuits one with another. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded? 6:8 No, but you yourselves do wrong, and defraud, and that against your brothers.
You see justice for the flesh is but onething death that is its worth, no sin is going to give us life, not even the most innocent sin is life, it all death, for that is the wages of sin, death! The apostasy is to say God is condoning sin, so we must uses righteous laws to keep those in Christ from sinning. No, God condones no sin, he tells us completely how he got rid of it? He killed our flesh so it would not be judged, once for all time. He gave us a new life, not the old life in our flesh, the old tree.
Romans 13:14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, for its lusts.
Romans 8:13 For if you live after the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
The only true justice for the flesh is death, it will not be made new, into a new lump. No! That's not possible, corruption does not inherit incorruption. No it is dead, it has no power in our lives, if we are anointed by God's Holy Spirit, the life of Christ is the only power in our lives is our new life. Is there anything unlawful for Christ on this earth, is there any law that is going to convict Christ of sin? Now get this right sins of the flesh?
Ephesians 2:6 and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
Colossians 2:12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.
Colossians 3:1 If then you were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God.
Romans 6:4 We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
Those putting faith in the flesh, that is the world, in religion, government, commerce will always be disappointed, we will always be stuck all over with many painful plagues of the flesh, for the flesh is a thorn patch of hurtful things.
Rom.3:13 "Their throat is an open tomb. With their tongues they have used deceit."{Psalm 5:9} "The poison of vipers is under their lips;"{Psalm 140:3} 3:14 "Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness."{Psalm 10:7} 3:15 "Their feet are swift to shed blood. 3:16 Destruction and misery are in their ways. 3:17 The way of peace, they haven't known."{Isaiah 59:7-8} 3:18 "There is no fear of God before their eyes."{Psalm 36:1}
The Work of God's Congregation
Those of the congregation of God, which means, being made new in Christ life that is God's congregation are not the police force for the world. That don't imagine they are here to create another religion, a new lump from the old lump of yeast and corruption of this world; for they have pure worship if they are in Christ the temple of God. They not here to clean up the corruption of the flesh in religion, government, or commerce that God himself is not going to do himself by reforming the old lump.
Revelation 21:5 He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." He said, "Write, for these words of God are faithful and true."
Revelation 21:1 I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and the sea is no more.
They are made new, new by being delivered out of this world into the wonderful light, that is, Christ Jesus is that wonderful light for he is the light, without sin, so he is the light to this world.
1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:
1 John 1:5 This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.
We are suffering in our flesh, for like Christ when on earth his judgment was taken away, that is, real justice was taken away from him, why? Because he was no part of this world, the judgment of this world which found in the flesh, could not properly, give Christ justice at all!
Acts 8:33 In his humiliation, his judgment was taken away. Who will declare His generation? For his life is taken from the earth."{Isaiah 53:7,8}
All things were lawful for Christ, nothing in this world could declare Christ evil or unrighteous, but false accusation. His judgment being he was a new creation was solely in the and wholly in God's hands, none other. Christ did not come to judge this world, do we understand the importance of that statement Christ made? He did not come to uses the laws of this world to judge evil of this world bring it to justice.
John 8:34 Jesus answered them, "Most certainly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is the bondservant of sin.
John 19:11 Jesus answered, "You would have no power at all against me, unless it were given to you from above. Therefore he who delivered me to you has greater sin."
Matthew 12:31 Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.
Nor did he prevent those in power from doing their jobs in bring evil ones to justice. Christ is the light that bring us to God, by his death for us, so we could be delivered out of this world into the wonderful light of no judgment our being with God in Spirit and truth making us no part of this world also.
Matthew 15:14 Leave them alone. They are blind guides of the blind. If the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit."
John 18:36 Jesus answered, "My Kingdom is not of this world. If my Kingdom were of this world, then my servants would fight, that I wouldn't be delivered to the Jews. But now my Kingdom is not from here."
Mark 6:11 Whoever will not receive you nor hear you, as you depart from there, shake off the dust that is under your feet for a testimony against them. Assuredly, I tell you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!"
Our own judgment of true justice has been taken away while we are in our flesh. Being freed of sin undeservedly leaves our judgment completely with God, and none others. In fact, we can't even judge ourselves properly, why? Because the flesh is dead, although, we live in it, if we think we are going to be made clean and righteous in our flesh by our own judgment of it, we are not authorized to judge something that is dead and no longer exist with God.
1Cor. 4:1 So let a man think of us as Christ's servants, and stewards of God's mysteries. 4:2 Here, moreover, it is required of stewards, that they be found faithful. 4:3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by man's judgment. Yes, I don't judge my own self. 4:4 For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord. 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.
Our flesh is of no value at all, so wasting a lot of time thinking we are going to improve it is not being in the Spirit. We should consider it dead eventhough it constantly lust against the Spirit and it fills us with all sorts of unrighteous thoughts.
1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Rom. 7:15 For I don't know what I am doing. For I don't practice what I desire to do; but what I hate, that I do. 7:16 But if what I don't desire, that I do, I consent to the law that it is good. 7:17 So now it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwells in me. 7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good. 7:19 For the good which I desire, I don't do; but the evil which I don't desire, that I practice. 7:20 But if what I don't desire, that I do, it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwells in me.
That is where we must stop, and wait in faith not in our ability to make our flesh do what is correct which is impossible. But that God will show us, he is greater than our flesh, and give us the comfort and teaching of Holy Spirit.
1 John 3:20 because if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.
If we endure in this judgment to the end in faith we will be perfected in God's love. Do we understand that statement honestly? Perfected in his unfailing love for us, not in our flesh getting better, or our thoughts getting better, our self-control getting better, but what delivered us into a new creation in the first place, God's love!
2 Corinthians 4:16 Therefore we don't faint, but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day.
Ephesians 4:23 and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
Colossians 3:10 and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator.
We don't deserved that kindness, none of us, but beating up our dead flesh is not going to make us deserving, now is it? No! Yes, we hate injustice, but what power do we now honestly have to stop it? Be honest, what power did Christ have on earth to stop the injustice among mankind? None, it was not his time. Do we have that type of faith, and what does that mean?
Galatians 5:5 For we, through the Spirit, by faith wait for the hope of righteousness.
Hebrews 9:28 so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, without sin, to those who are eagerly waiting for him for salvation.
Hebrews 10:13 from that time waiting until his enemies are made the footstool of his feet.
Can we have Christ dwelling in us and not know that all creation will be set free at God's appointed time? Let us not take matters into our own hands, become an evil slave returning to laws of the flesh beating other up by laws that are dead in Christ for a temporary shadow of just no matter how much our flesh lust for such justice.
Matthew 20:15 Isn't it lawful for me to do what I want to with what I own? Or is your eye evil, because I am good?'
Matthew 24:48 But if that evil servant should say in his heart, 'My lord is delaying his coming.
Romans 8:19 For the creation waits with eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.
Psalms 64:6 They plot injustice, saying, "We have made a perfect plan!" Surely man's mind and heart are cunning.
Deuteronomy 32:4 The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice: a God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and right is he.
Yes, we groan with the whole creation, we had a moment of release from our flesh at our anointing to taste and see God is so good, now we are left, but for a moment in this flesh, let not become foolishly and think as we do, its forever, and we must right every wrong.
Yes, we are tormented, we are tried in every way, but not without away out, what is that way out? By the Spirit that indwells us, it will resurrect us out of this flesh, that is, the flesh spirit to comfort us, even if we can't find words in the confusion of our flesh because we are speaking from the spirit of our flesh. God's Spirit knows all things, and we have a compassionate high priest that suffered as we are in our flesh, Christ knows what tribulation and torment we are undergoing.
Their love can't fail, why? Because we are dead to them in our evil flesh. We exist not by works we have done but by their love. They can't lie, we are dead to them in our flesh we have that seal in us when God gave it too us death in the flesh in Christ, we were then raised with in Christ spirit life. Yes its true, we may have forgot in the body undergoing death, but it is impossible for God to forget, his love cannot fail, we cannot be separated from God's love by any thing on earth, not even ourselves. Because we have no judgment upon us from this world, we have been made no part of by Christ life, none! All the rest is a lie, and the evil of the flesh by corruption of the world we were delivered out of in the Spirit, let us pray in Spirit and walk in Spirit and be taught by Spirit for it is our truth.
Rom.8:21 that the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of decay into the liberty of the glory of the children of God. 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now. 8:23 Not only so, but ourselves also, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for adoption, the redemption of our body. 8:24 For we were saved in hope, but hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for that which he sees? 8:25 But if we hope for that which we don't see, we wait for it with patience. 8:26 In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. 8:27 He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God. 8:28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. 8:29 For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."} 8:30 Whom he predestined, those he also called. Whom he called, those he also justified. Whom he justified, those he also glorified. 8:31 What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 8:32 He who didn't spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things? 8:33 Who could bring a charge against God's chosen ones? It is God who justifies. 8:34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 8:36 Even as it is written, "For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter."{Psalm 44:22} 8:37 No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 8:39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

All Things Are Lawful For Me
1 Corinthians 10:23 "All things are lawful for me," but not all things are profitable.
John 8:32 You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."{Psalm 119:45}
But Not All Things Are Profitable

First, those anointed by God's Holy Spirit had the life of Christ indwelling them, that is, the Spirit of sanctification. The power of the kingdom of God was not in word only, but in the righteousness of Christ who is a dynamic living incorruptible life spirit that was the power found in God's anointed ambassador's
Colossians 1:13 who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love;
Colossians 2:10 and in him you are made full, who is the head of all principality and power;
Philippians 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;
The Flesh Does by Nature The Things of The flesh

Galatians 3:1 Foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you not to obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was openly set forth among you as crucified?
The nature of our flesh is sin, sin is the fiber of the flesh, it is the grain running through the tree found in all its branches. But the old tree is dead, the law governing the growth of the tree are dead as well, the only thing those laws are good for is the dead tree, not the living tree of Christ Jesus these brothers and sisters had been grafted into.
Romans 11:24 For if you were cut out of that which is by nature a wild olive tree, and were grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree, how much more will these, which are the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?
Galatians 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,"{Deuteronomy 21:23}
Jude 1:12 These are hidden rocky reefs in your love feasts when they feast with you, shepherds who without fear feed themselves; clouds without water, carried along by winds; autumn leaves without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
James 3:6 And the tongue is a fire. The world of iniquity among our members is the tongue, which defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature, and is set on fire by Gehenna.{or, Hell}
2 Peter 1:4 by which he has granted to us his precious and exceedingly great promises; that through these you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust.
Rom.3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.
3:11 There is no one who understands. There is no one who seeks after God. 3:12 They have all turned aside. They have together become unprofitable. There is no one who does good, no, not, so much as one."{Psalms 14:1-3; 53:1-3; Ecclesiastes 7:20}
13:41 The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will gather out of his Kingdom all things that cause stumbling, and those who do iniquity,
13:42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire.
1Tim.1:9 as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 1:10 for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine;
Heb. 6:1 Therefore leaving the doctrine of the first principles of Christ, let us press on to perfection--not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, of faith toward God,
6:2 of the teaching of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
6:3 This will we do, if God permits.
Romans 3:20 Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin.
Romans 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;
2Cor. 4:3 Even if our Good News is veiled, it is veiled in those who perish; 4:4 in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them.
4:5 For we don't preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake;
For God the Father has sealed him."
6:28 They said therefore to him, "What must we do, that we may work the works of God?"
6:29 Jesus answered them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent."
Rom.10:4 For Christ is the fulfillment{or, completion, or end} of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
10:5 For Moses writes about the righteousness of the law, "The one who does them will live by them."{Leviticus 18:5}
10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith says this, "Don't say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'{Deuteronomy 30:12} (that is, to bring Christ down);
10:7 or, 'Who will descend into the abyss?'{Deuteronomy 30:13} (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead.)"
10:8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart;"{Deuteronomy 30:14} that is, the word of faith, which we preach:
10:9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
The World
The flesh is the world, its that simple, and the flesh is alienated from God, and it can't please God, so it is darkness.
Rom.3:13 "Their throat is an open tomb. With their tongues they have used deceit."{Psalm 5:9} "The poison of vipers is under their lips;"{Psalm 140:3}
3:14 "Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness."{Psalm 10:7}
3:15 "Their feet are swift to shed blood.
3:16 Destruction and misery are in their ways.
3:17 The way of peace, they haven't known."{Isaiah 59:7-8}
3:18 "There is no fear of God before their eyes."{Psalm 36:1}
Acts 8:33 In his humiliation, his judgment was taken away. Who will declare His generation? For his life is taken from the earth."{Isaiah 53:7,8}
8:29 For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."}
8:30 Whom he predestined, those he also called.
8:36 Even as it is written, "For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter."{Psalm 44:22}
8:37 No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
8:39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
