a principle or set of principles laid down by an authority as incontrovertibly true. "the Christian dogma of the Trinity"
Making a teaching of the bible a dogma/doctrine does not make it the truth. That being said, let us ask what is truth according God's word the bible? The bible tells us as Christian's it is the “Christ”, and if that is true we are forced to take a hard look at the dogma of Disfellowshiping so often and profoundly used to keep a religious organizations clean form evil influences.
John 5:30 I can of myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous; because I don't seek my own will, but the will of my Father who sent me.
Does God's word the bible use the terminology disfellowshiping? No it does not! However, it does clearly uses the idea of removing the wicked person by the power of the congregation as is recorded for us in the book of First Corinthian's Chapter Five.
1. 1Cor.5:1 It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality as is not even named among the Gentiles, that one has his father's wife. 5:2 You are puffed up, and didn't rather mourn, that he who had done this deed might be removed from among you. 5:3 For I most certainly, as being absent in body but present in spirit, have already, as though I were present, judged him who has done this thing. 5:4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, you being gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, 5:5 are to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
There, and only there, we find a man expelled from association, but for a time, away from his brothers and sisters of the body of Christ. We find the conclusion of that matter no where else accept to say in the book of Second Corinthian's when the apostle Paul ask the same congregation to welcome the brother back into association with congregation.
The issues that should confound any honest hearted reader of God's word the bible, that is, a lover of truth, over an agenda's or religious dogma is the fact taught us from God's word the bible which is our flesh in Christ is dead, once for all times.
Galatians 5:24 Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.
That our flesh is no longer judged in Christ because it is gone, non-existent in God's judgment of it any longer, and/or God is a liar! So what are we to do with that teaching found throughout the entire books of the Greek writings once the Holy Spirit was pour out? (The flesh is dead of no value at all), when indeed religion makes it a practice to clean the flesh up, i.e,. by disfellowship it as a tool to make our flesh a righteous and holy vessels for God? 2. 1 Corinthians 1:29 that no flesh should boast before God.
Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.
In fact, we must ask, if we love truth, then, is what religion practices today in Disfellowshiping done in Spirit and truth, honestly?
Romans 8:4 that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Once For All Times
Here we have an dichotomy, an quandary if you will? Christ died for our individual sins once for all times this is a primary doctrine of Christ, not a deep teaching, but a first step into coming to God, in repentance from our dead works, which is, of our flesh (The flesh being dead in Christ), and its will, into a new life of a new person, with an new will (Christ) born again into the person of Jesus Christ?
John.1:12 But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name: 1:13 who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.
In other words, at our conversion into Christ, that is, having his life in us, and us in him, born new, as a child of God, we are forgiven our debt of sin, once, and only once for all time into eternity. How does that happen? It is by God paying the price for our sins, that is, the wages sin pays is death. We die in Christ, we are raised into a newness of life, Christ life, and never again is our debt sin recalled. 3. Romans 6:7 For he who has died has been freed from sin.
Romans 6:8 But if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him;
Romans 6:10 For the death that he died, he died to sin one time; but the life that he lives, he lives to God.
Ephesians 2:6 and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
Colossians 2:12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.
We are at that point sinless (in Christ as our life), that is, justified by being in Christ life which never sinned, and his merit of his life given us freely to save us removing our old person never to be resurrected again from its dead state of sin and corruption. We may sin, but not with “death in view”, what does this mean? We do not need to die again in Christ that has been done once for all time, but those sins in our dead flesh are not held against us any longer they are no part of our new life in Christ, in Spirit. They are found in a vessel (flesh) left here on earth to perfect us in faith in God's love.
Colossians 3:1 If then you were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God.
Romans 9:21 Or hasn't the potter a right over the clay, from the same lump to make one part a vessel for honor, and another for dishonor?
1 Thessalonians 4:4 that each one of you know how to possess
4. himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor.
The flesh is gone to God it is not brought back to life, over and over again so Christ must be put to death each time we sin.
Hebrews 7:27 who doesn't need, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices daily, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. For he did this once for all, when he offered up himself.
We are scripturally accounted before God as a spirit son, without flesh, our after-birth being left behind, that is, our flesh, which cannot please God in any form because flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. All things are made new in Christ including us, that is, a new heavens and earth.
Romans 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;
Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.
1 Corinthians 15:50 Now I say this, brothers,{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."} that flesh and blood can't inherit the Kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.
2 Corinthians 5:16 Therefore we know no one after the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.
So clearly the expulsion of the man in Corinthian's was not about perfecting this man's flesh, making it more righteous as all false religion practices. - 5.
- If it were that would make the whole of God's words in our Greek scriptures a lie. Yes, the very opposite of what our Lord Jesus Christ stated on earth in his own flesh that our flesh profits us nothing in the Spirit.
John 6:63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.
Subsequently, we must start from that mark if we are to make any real sense of what disfellowshiping is to Christ in Spirit and truth within his own body members.
Putting Away The Filth of Our Flesh
Is it possible for Christian's to put away the sins of their flesh that is a profound question? Moreover, is it possible to make any sin, a less sin acceptable to God? If so, it would have to be by the power of our own will. Hence, then this man who was disfellowshiped by the congregation must obtain to a righteousness through the power of his own will by works of law.
1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
1 John 3:4 Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness.
1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
6. But that is not a teaching of the Christian's Greek Scriptures, it is not a teaching of the Spirit for sure which tells us that flesh cannot please God, nor can we put away the filth of our flesh.
Furthermore, such a teaching nullifies the Christ, who is the unmerited kindness of God to us, that is, the grace of God to us.
Romans 5:21 that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.
Had these brothers and sisters (those doing the disfellowshiping) put away their own sins, had they put to death the filth of their own flesh? Moreover, had they born themselves again into the new life of Christ, or was all that done in God's power, of his will, and not man's will at all? Once again works of law is not a teaching of the truth and Spirit who is Christ Jesus for us.
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
1 Corinthians 4:20 For the Kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
Making All Things New
Lets stop and reason here about making all things new? Which is a statement like so many other statements that Christian's uses arbitrarily having no real power, but in word usage only. However, the power of God's kingdom does lay in words, it is found in the power of Christ, his new indestructible life that transforms our life into a reality of truth and Spirit. 7. Ephesians 1:19 and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might.
Hebrews 7:16 who has been made, not after the law of a fleshly commandment, but after the power of an endless life:
So when our bibles tell us God is making all things new that is what persistently it means throughout the Greek scriptures. From an old life of sin in our flesh, into a new life of Spirit and truth (in Christ). The Spirit, means the Holy Spirit of God, and the truth means the life of Christ Jesus God's the word of God our truth.
Colossians 3:4 When Christ, our life, is revealed, then you will also be revealed with him in glory.
Ephesians 4:22 that you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man, that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit;
Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.
The bible is speaking about going from worship in our flesh, into a worship in Christ (Spirit), in God's temple above, seated with Christ as his body. Doing so means the power of words of our flesh are gone, worthless, and the power of Christ life in his unshakable kingdom in us given to us truth, that is, his life indwelling us. Word of disfellowship have no power in Christ life accept to the flesh, which always gives its authority to the power to fleshly men and woman running a religion, government, or commerce, which power comes from what? The written words, codified in religious dogma, incorporated into laws and books to be enforced if necessary by legal authorities. 8. 1Cor.4:1 So let a man think of us as Christ's servants, and stewards of God's mysteries. 4:2 Here, moreover, it is required of stewards, that they be found faithful. 4:3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by man's judgment. Yes, I don't judge my own self. 4:4 For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord. 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden
But Paul did not turn to a legal authority, to a dogma, or to men and woman in their flesh at all to remove the wicked man from among themselves. Where did Paul turn to? He turned to the power of Christ Jesus, to his indestructible life, which power handed such a man over to another spirit creature an evil one Satan the Devil.
1 Corinthians 2:4 My speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
1 Corinthians 2:5 that your faith wouldn't stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
In other words, as the apostate Jews used governmental legal authority of the Roman Empire to kill Christ (a fleshly power), Paul turned the life in him, Christ (Spirit). It was the life of Christ in him which removes such a man, from what? Not physical contact, not removing him out of a religion legally, not even out of the body of Christ a Spirit directed and feed body by the owner of the body Christ? Why is that important? One, it was Christ life in the man, not Paul's life, or a brothers and sisters life, and certainly not a religion, or a dogma.
1 Peter 4:11 If anyone speaks, let it be as it were the very words of God. If anyone serves, let it be as of the strength which God 9. supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
Two, the Spirit of truth does not lie, so whatever decision made was from top down, not from a legal corporation up based upon the need for human witnesses. Subsequently, no mistake could be made when it came to eternal life in this man, the same life found in all members (the life of Christ) they had received freely in gifts to all the congregation, God's grace.
Heb. 4:12 For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 4:13 There is no creature that is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him with whom we have to do. 4:14 Having then a great high priest, who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold tightly to our confession.
Three; man's anger does not work out God's righteousness, so no emotion of the flesh was involved in this decision and/or it would not have been in Christ (Spirit), for those in the flesh cannot be in Christ or please God. This was not a work to kill the enemy as what had been done to Christ, and his apostles while here on earth. It was to save this man, in Christ, whom was loved and cherish as Christ body members.
1Cor.11:31 For if we discerned ourselves, we wouldn't be judged. 11:32 But when we are judged, we are punished by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.
In fact, without God's love the whole project would fail and produce the same results as it does in all of Satan system of thing ending in death, not life. 10. 1 John 4:20 If a man says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn't love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
James.1:19 So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger; 1:20 for the anger of man doesn't produce the righteousness of God.
To Purchases For a Purpose
Our body was created by God. Yes, we know God did not individually take us from the dust and give us life, but that does not mean we are not created from God. A body has a purpose, all thing created has a purpose for this earth. Granted a times we wonder why mankind doesn't seem to fit on this earth so well? But that is because of sin that has completely corrupted mankind's purpose to do God's work on earth, making him actually a misfit to the creation of God.
Rom. 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one. 3:11 There is no one who understands. There is no one who seeks after God. 3:12 They have all turned aside. They have together become unprofitable. There is no one who does good, no, not, so much as one."{Psalms 14:1-3; 53:1-3; Ecclesiastes 7:20} 3:13 "Their throat is an open tomb. With their tongues they have used deceit."{Psalm 5:9} "The poison of vipers is under their lips;"{Psalm 140:3}
Why did God create in Christ as new creation, a new body having many members, but actually one? Think of our own body, its simple every thing in it works for the direction and life of the body in doing a works on this earth. 11. Why would one think in the furthest stretches of their imagination that Christ as the new creation does not have a purpose? Particular when every person in Christ is predestined before the founding of this earth, hand picked and created to be his body. How can that be so easily discarded like so much trash?
2 Timothy 2:19 However God's firm foundation stands, having this seal, "The Lord knows those who are his,"{Numbers 16:5} and, "Let every one who names the name of the Lord{TR reads "Christ" instead of "the Lord"} depart from unrighteousness."
Rom. 8:29 For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."} 8:30 Whom he predestined, those he also called. Whom he called, those he also justified. Whom he justified, those he also glorified. 8:31 What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
That ought to be our first and foremost concern when dealing with so called dogma of disfellowshiping. We are here being point specific because that is what Paul was dealing with not the public (world), but rather the body of Christ.
Rom.8:32 He who didn't spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things? 8:33 Who could bring a charge against God's chosen ones? It is God who justifies.
Context of Time
We must understand how important time frames are in our bibles they cannot be arbitrarily take out of context. 12. Christ had specific time he was sent to our earth, he had a specific time to start his ministry. Moreover, he had a specific time to die for our sins. Thus, for us to make all that haphazard, is to deny God!
John 15:16 You didn't choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
Acts 13:48 As the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of God. As many as were appointed to eternal life believed.
Acts 17:31 because he has appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he has ordained; of which he has given assurance to all men, in that he has raised him from the dead."
Romans 9:9 For this is a word of promise, "At the appointed time I will come, and Sarah will have a son."{Genesis 18:10,14}
2 Corinthians 8:19 Not only so, but who was also appointed by the assemblies to travel with us in this grace, which is served by us to the glory of the Lord himself, and to show our readiness.
God has time tables man must learn of them and live within them to have the truth of God. Christ coming to earth fulfilled one of the greatest event ever on this earth. Christ was the perfect atonement that would bring in God's everlasting covenant. That mean there is nothing beyond Christ he is the finish work of God that set all creation free from sin in God's time table.
13.
Galatians 4:4 But when the fullness of the time came, God sent out his Son, born to a woman, born under the law.
Christ is the superior covenant that all the prophets, kings, and peoples of Israel longed for and had prophecies about. The law was completed fulfilled and set aside for a new living way (on God's time table), and what does that mean? Please get this, the flesh was completed under the old covenant, which covenant was temporary, not everlasting! It took an everlasting life to created an everlasting covenant, and an everlasting temple for God to inhabit.
Daniel 9:24 Seventy weeks are decreed on your people and on your holy city, to finish disobedience, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy.
Heb.2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many children to glory, to make the author of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
Heb.3:1 Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Jesus; 3:2 who was faithful to him who appointed him, as also was Moses in all his house.
Heb.5:5 So also Christ didn't glorify himself to be made a high priest, but it was he who said to him, "You are my Son. Today I have become your father."{Psalm 2:7} 5:6 As he says also in another place, "You are a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek."{Psalm 110:4}
Heb.5:9 Having been made perfect, he became to all of those who obey him the author of eternal salvation.
14. Heb.7:11 Now if there was perfection through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people have received the law), what further need was there for another priest to arise after the order of Melchizedek, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
Heb.7:21 (for they indeed have been made priests without an oath), but he with an oath by him that says of him, "The Lord swore and will not change his mind, 'You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.'"{Psalm 110:4} 7:22 By so much, Jesus has become the collateral of a better covenant.
Mankind was transferred back into being in God, as Adam had been without a physical place to worship any longer (but in Spirit and truth). God's children are allowed this in Christ, Christ being in God removing the power of Satan through the sinful flesh that he created with a lie. A lie that caused all mankind not to know God by Spirit and truth, which is God's perfect love.
That time table has long pasted or Christ died in vain! Thus, to rely upon the things of the Old Law as if they are the same laws of the Spirit and truth is a fools game. How can what governs Spirit be the same law governing our flesh (dead to God in corruption)? The question becomes mote if we love truth.
Rom.8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.{NU omits "who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"} 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death. 8:3 For what the law couldn't do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh; 8:4 that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 15. 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
Does God deal with sins of the flesh in his spirit son's of God? Well, no! Does he deal with the two witnesses rule in spirit son's? ( being imbued with the witness of God and Christ in them) Obviously, not! So when we read in Matthew the Eighteenth Chapter under the Old law for our flesh and Christ instructs his disciple according to the law that they were still under, that is, the Old Law, and not the New Covenant, we should not after we have been born again by Spirit of God bring it into the laws of the Spirit of Christ.
Matt.18:15 "If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother. 18:16 But if he doesn't listen, take one or two more with you, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.{Deuteronomy 19:15} 18:17 If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. If he refuses to hear the assembly also, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax collector.
Romans 7:4 Therefore, my brothers, you also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you would be joined to another, to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit to God.
Romans 7:6 But now we have been discharged from the law, having died to that in which we were held; so that we serve in newness of the spirit, and not in oldness of the letter.
It can't be done without applying that which is of the flesh to that of the Spirit, the law of Christ (Spirit). (permeating yeast into the unleavened bread of Christ).
16.
The two are opposed to each others, one is for the unrighteous flesh, now dead in Christ, and the other applies to a righteous life (Spirit life) that has not sinned, the law is not made for a righteous person but sinners, sinners is the definition of unrighteousness.
1Tim.1:9 as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 1:10 for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine;
Romans 5:19 For as through the one man's disobedience many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one, many will be made righteous.
Hebrews 10:38 But the righteous will live by faith. If he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him."{Habakkuk 2:3-4}
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
To say time tables aren't important as if man in his sinful flesh can say when God brings his Son to earth, and finishes off the Old Covenant, which God created for mankind until he sent us the solution (Christ) is foolish. It would be like setting up the physically temple again and killing animals once more for Christian's! Who in their right mind would believe that animal blood is superior to Christ life?
Galatians 3:1 Foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you not to obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was openly set forth among you as crucified? 17.
So to when we are clearly told by Holy Spirit that a little leaven ferments the whole loaf of the unleavened bread of Christ. Why would a person uses sins law for a sinless body of Christ? Thus, we find a vast pollution of yeast teachings regarding disfellowshiping by religious corporation using an amalgamation of two time tables, two separated and distinct laws to clean up that which cannot be cleaned up the flesh in those organizations.
Rom.7:2 For the woman that has a husband is bound by law to the husband while he lives, but if the husband dies, she is discharged from the law of the husband. 7:3 So then if, while the husband lives, she is joined to another man, she would be called an adulteress. But if the husband dies, she is free from the law, so that she is no adulteress, though she is joined to another man. 7:4 Therefore, my brothers, you also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you would be joined to another, to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit to God.
Hebrews 13:4 Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.
How does one clean up the spirit by laws of the flesh? How does one stop sin in what Christ body freed of by sin by laws created for sinners?
Luke 11:39 The Lord said to him, "Now you Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the platter, but your inward part is full of extortion and wickedness.
The Power of Flesh Killed In Christ
Do we get the above subtitle statement in its entirety? - 18. The flesh that sins must die; it is out of context to God whom can't sin and only creates sinless people in his image. One is light, the other is darkness. So if Satan entire power and control is over the flesh created in sin and its lust? Thus, Christ taking our judgment away from the flesh, that is, killing it, by pays the price for sin, removes our judgment so where it no longer exist in flesh. What then has happen to Satan power to control the flesh by sin, and guilt?
Col.2:13 You were dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh. He made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, 2:14 wiping out the handwriting in ordinances which was against us; and he has taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross; 2:15 having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it. 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in eating, or in drinking, or with respect to a feast day or a new moon or a Sabbath day, 2:17 which are a shadow of the things to come; but the body is Christ's. 2:18 Let no one rob you of your prize by a voluntary humility and worshipping of the angels, dwelling in the things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, 2:19 and not holding firmly to the Head, from whom all the body, being supplied and knit together through the joints and ligaments, grows with God's growth. 2:20 If you died with Christ from the elements of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to ordinances, 2:21 "Don't handle, nor taste, nor touch" 2:22 (all of which perish with use), according to the precepts and doctrines of men? 2:23 Which things indeed appear like wisdom in self-imposed worship, and humility, and severity to the body; but aren't of any value against the indulgence of the flesh.
What happens to the power of death from sin with no flesh? What happens to Hades? Hence, that is why Christ is God's finish work towards the flesh which flesh is out of context to the everlasting life found in Christ, and in us, eternal life. 19. Satan lost his power, but does one think Satan is giving up on those living in the will of the flesh. The flesh will never understand what it means to have the life of Christ indwelling them in an everlasting new covenant?
No its not possible! One cannot expected a bird to think like a fish, or the Spirit to thinking like the corrupted flesh the rules and their thought patterns are not the same, nor should they be!
James.3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth. 3:15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed. 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 3:18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
Living by Spirit
A spirit being lives by what, the flesh, or the Spirit? Is the food the same for both? Is the breathe of life the same for both? Spirit must live by Spirit, isn't that a basic principal we should know? Yes, it is, the flesh lives by the things of the flesh, and for the flesh.
John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
But those born again by the power of God's will are born again by Spirit, and not man's will. Thus, it must follow as the scriptures testify to that they are feed by Spirit, taught by Spirit, and disciplined by Spirit. 20. 1 Corinthians 12:3 Therefore I make known to you that no man speaking by God's Spirit says, "Jesus is accursed." No one can say, "Jesus is Lord," but by the Holy Spirit.
1 Corinthians 6:17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit.
1 Corinthians 6:19 Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own.
1 Corinthians 6:11 Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.
1 Corinthians 5:5 are to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
Jude 1:19 These are they who cause divisions, and are sensual, not having the Spirit.
1 John 4:6 We are of God. He who knows God listens to us. He who is not of God doesn't listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
1 John 2:27 As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don't need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.
Heb.12:5 and you have forgotten the exhortation which reasons with you as with children, "My son, don't take lightly the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are reproved by him; 12:6 For whom the Lord loves, he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives."{Proverbs 21. So the man disfellowshiped flesh was given to whom? Was it not the creator of the flesh, by the lie, the Devil. But who was dealing with the spirit of this Spirit anointed brothers, the devil or Christ? Can we imagine at all what it means to be discipline by the Spirit of God in Christ? Is that a job of fleshly men/woman or the devil, or even false religion to perform?
Galatians 4:23 However, the son by the handmaid was born according to the flesh, but the son by the free woman was born through promise.
Galatians 4:29 But as then, he who was born according to the flesh persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, so also it is now.
Galatians 5:13 For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don't use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another.
This is the problem when flesh steals Christ position as God's temple, removing it from heaven back to the corruption of the flesh, and its High Priest of his body members, and we in our fleshly mind thinking we can make something from corruption into incorruptibility by the laws of the flesh! How proud, how haughty in pride of position must one be to take such a position on earth before God, when not even Christ in flesh would utter such swelling unbelievable blasphemy before God?
Luke.17:7 But who is there among you, having a servant plowing or keeping sheep, that will say, when he comes in from the field, 'Come immediately and sit down at the table,' 17:8 and will not rather tell him, 'Prepare my supper, clothe yourself properly, and serve me, while I eat and drink. Afterward you shall eat and drink'? 17:9 Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded? I think not. 22. 17:10 Even so you also, when you have done all the things that are commanded you, say, 'We are unworthy servants. We have done our duty.'"
This is the zeal the flesh has in bring justice by laws to all flesh that it hates by the same laws. Moreover, this is why the law of Moses did not perfect the spirit of men, or making anything perfect. Furthermore, this is why we have a king, we have a master, we wait upon his direction by Spirit before we make any judgments. Christ did not judge the flesh on earth, but do you know why? Its very simple, Christ knew what was in all flesh, the lie, the corruption God dealt with at the start of sin into mankind. The judgment was done if one sin they pay the price of this life that is the permanent unmovable law of God.
If Christ was not judging flesh, then how can we conclude he was judging this anointed brothers flesh that was dead in Christ? We were told to judge what is righteous, so what is righteous?
John 7:24 Don't judge according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment."
Christ is righteous, he is our righteousness, can we judge him by the rules of the flesh? No, we cannot! So if we look at Christ by Spirit and truth, knowing we certainly would not judge him by sins laws unless we ourselves are wicked, why would we judge a brother or sisters flesh by rules that they or we are not under?
1 Corinthians 1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:
2 Corinthians 3:9 For if the service of condemnation has glory, the service of righteousness exceeds much more in glory. 23. 2 Corinthians 5:21 For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Ephesians 4:24 and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.
Philippians 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;
In other words, if disfellowshiping that is so touted by groups as the only hope for a clean organization. Where they have removed the High Priest Christ as the head of his own body, a God given position, one he is entitled to. The authority to make his body members holy and clean/righteous before God, as if he is dealing with himself, as he is, what good would our fleshly judgments by unrighteous flesh laws clean up what is not in Christ and never has been (the flesh)?
Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,
Summation
What is man's, is fully man's, and he will be judged for it! But conversely, what is God's is fully God's his children, and none can make judgments in the flesh because they are in Christ by Spirit.
In the matter of disfellowshiping, not many should be teachers, and certainly not judges of Christ body. Each point above should be carefully considered when we promote a dogma of Disfellowshiping thinking it is from God because the bible is used to pass judgment upon the accused. Be careful you judge by righteousness, Christ, for God lets his children stumble to clean up and whiten the rest.
Christ and his body members are no part of this world, and which means everything of world is the flesh, none of it is left in Christ. Christ body memberss are taken out of this world into Christ seated above that in and of itself should tell us they are not in man's control, and/or judgment by laws for this earth.
Jude.1:8 Yet in like manner these also in their dreaming defile the flesh, despise authority, and slander celestial beings. 1:9 But Michael, the archangel, when contending with the devil and arguing about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him an abusive condemnation, but said, "May the Lord rebuke you!"
If we haven't gotten past the primary doctrine of being in Christ, we should have the good sense to stop acting as if we have a right by the power of earthly organization to disfellowship parts of Christ own body by laws for this world. If it is necessary to think is some fashion that God is using man's will that what is in man is going to make something clean and righteous we then are the most hopeless lost people on earth!
James.4:11 Don't speak against one another, brothers. He who speaks against a brother and judges his brother, speaks against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge. 4:12 Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another?
James.5:6 You have condemned, you have murdered the righteous one. He doesn't resist you. 5:7 Be patient therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it, until it receives the early and late rain. 5:8 You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. 25. 5:9 Don't grumble, brothers, against one another, so that you won't be judged. Behold, the judge stands at the door. 5:10 Take, brothers, for an example of suffering and of patience, the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. 5:11 Behold, we call them blessed who endured. You have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the Lord in the outcome, and how the Lord is full of compassion and mercy. 5:12 But above all things, my brothers, don't swear, neither by heaven, nor by the earth, nor by any other oath; but let your "yes" be "yes," and your "no," "no;" so that you don't fall into hypocrisy.{TR reads "under judgment" instead of "into hypocrisy"}

Dogma of Disfellowshiping
Dogma:
a principle or set of principles laid down by an authority as incontrovertibly true.
5:4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, you being gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
5:5 are to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
John.1:12 But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name:
1:13 who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Romans 6:8 But if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him;
Romans 6:10 For the death that he died, he died to sin one time; but the life that he lives, he lives to God.
Romans 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;
5.
Ephesians 4:22 that you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man, that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit;
If anyone serves, let it be as of the strength which God
9.
supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever.
James.1:19 So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger;
1:20 for the anger of man doesn't produce the righteousness of God.
Rom. 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.
3:11 There is no one who understands. There is no one who seeks after God.
3:12 They have all turned aside. They have together become unprofitable. There is no one who does good, no, not, so much as one."{Psalms 14:1-3; 53:1-3; Ecclesiastes 7:20}
3:13 "Their throat is an open tomb. With their tongues they have used deceit."{Psalm 5:9} "The poison of vipers is under their lips;"{Psalm 140:3}
Romans 9:9 For this is a word of promise, "At the appointed time I will come, and Sarah will have a son."{Genesis 18:10,14}
Heb.3:1 Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Jesus;
3:2 who was faithful to him who appointed him, as also was Moses in all his house.
Heb.5:5 So also Christ didn't glorify himself to be made a high priest, but it was he who said to him, "You are my Son. Today I have become your father."{Psalm 2:7}
5:6 As he says also in another place, "You are a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek."{Psalm 110:4}
Heb.7:21 (for they indeed have been made priests without an oath), but he with an oath by him that says of him, "The Lord swore and will not change his mind, 'You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.'"{Psalm 110:4}
7:22 By so much, Jesus has become the collateral of a better covenant.
8:3 For what the law couldn't do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh;
8:4 that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
1Tim.1:9 as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 1:10 for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine;
Romans 5:19 For as through the one man's disobedience many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one, many will be made righteous.
Hebrews 10:38 But the righteous will live by faith. If he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him."{Habakkuk 2:3-4}
18.
2:18 Let no one rob you of your prize by a voluntary humility and worshipping of the angels, dwelling in the things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
2:19 and not holding firmly to the Head, from whom all the body, being supplied and knit together through the joints and ligaments, grows with God's growth.
Heb.12:5 and you have forgotten the exhortation which reasons with you as with children, "My son, don't take lightly the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are reproved by him;
12:6 For whom the Lord loves, he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives."{Proverbs
21.
Luke.17:7 But who is there among you, having a servant plowing or keeping sheep, that will say, when he comes in from the field, 'Come immediately and sit down at the table,'
17:8 and will not rather tell him, 'Prepare my supper, clothe yourself properly, and serve me, while I eat and drink.
Philippians 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;
James.5:6 You have condemned, you have murdered the righteous one. He doesn't resist you.
5:7 Be patient therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it, until it receives the early and late rain.
5:8 You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.
25.
5:9 Don't grumble, brothers, against one another, so that you won't be judged. Behold, the judge stands at the door.
5:10 Take, brothers, for an example of suffering and of patience, the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.
5:11 Behold, we call them blessed who endured. You have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the Lord in the outcome, and how the Lord is full of compassion and mercy.
5:12 But above all things, my brothers, don't swear, neither by heaven, nor by the earth, nor by any other oath; but let your "yes" be "yes," and your "no," "no;" so that you don't fall into hypocrisy.{TR reads "under judgment" instead of "into hypocrisy"}
