Revealing Truth

Matthew 16:17 Jesus answered him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.

We all have mind-sets that no matter what we do it causes us to think about a subject in a certain way. In other words, it is a core value/principle and we build from those core principles all other data we make judgments and choice on.

Proverbs 27:19 As water reflects a face, so a man's heart reflects the man.

The core thought most Christian's have is they study God's word the bible, they search its pages when faced with issues in their lives, and in that search they believe God's truth will be reveal to them. But here is the problem with that mind-set?

I think one of the biggest shocks for me when I started studying law is that there are two sides to every legal issue. Now what I mean by that is this? In the law, at least in this country, there is the defense attorney, and there is the prosecuting attorney (in criminal law). Both can read the same facts from the same case and draw a completely different opposing agenda's, so where is the truth unless we pick one side or the other, both have been bent to the agenda, that is, the attorney's motives.

I uses the word agenda here because most often legal justice has very little to do with truth.

Point being; here we have the Son of God walking and teaching his disciples full of the living God's Spirit where we can say every word from his mouth was inspired of God, for Christ did nothing of his own initiative, unlike us. The truth does not have agenda's!

John 5:30 I can of myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous; because I don't seek my own will, but the will of my Father who sent me.

In front of God and his disciples and whom ever else was listening even the holy angels, he tells Simon that it was not flesh and blood that revealed truth to him, not even himself. But let us remember who it is saying this, the living Son of God! So where was this divine truth reveal from? Flesh and blood or Heaven?

Please note? Not from Christ teaching him; for Christ himself at that time was in flesh and blood, not from the teachers of Israel, not from the scrolls, precious as they were, but from heaven, and to top it all off, he never said the samething about the other hand picked apostles!

So what mind-set do we have about truth? It is vital that we comprehend the fullness of Christ our headship to mature and stand fast in our faith!

1 John 5:6 This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.

You see, there is really only two choices before us that will ultimately answer every question we have of why so many people have no love, and/or lose faith in God and his Son Christ Jesus? When we reveal truth to ourselves by reading the bible it will not stand under test, but when truth is revealed too us from heaven as a gift then those are treasure in heaven that cannot be taken by human trials!

Romans.8:36 Even as it is written, "For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter."{Psalm 44:22} 8:37 No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,

- 8:39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The Fading Truth of Flesh

Isaiah 40:7 The grass withers, the flower fades, because Yahweh's breath blows on it. Surely the people are like grass.

Isaiah 40:8 The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God stands forever."

So many find their faith shipped wreaked from trials that come upon all of us in this life. What they sought from the bible, comes to naught when put to the test by fire.

Their mind-set is what was revealed to them as truth is actually putting faith into other humans in their religion whom have been instrumental in teaching them the so called truth. When the storms hit as Christ promised us they would, they find themselves upon sandy soil and their entire house of faith collapses around them.

Matt.7:24 "Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man, who built his house on a rock. 7:25 The rain came down, the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat on that house; and it didn't fall, for it was founded on the rock. 7:26 Everyone who hears these words of mine, and doesn't do them will be like a foolish man, who built his house on the sand. 7:27 The rain came down, the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat on that house; and it fell--and great was its fall."

They look to men or woman of faith in power to come to their aid and protect them, but what they find out about is the real truth that all justice systems created by men/woman are agenda's leaving them lost in a hopeless state of confusion and anger.

- They have no one but themselves to rely upon causing so much anger, because anger comes from trying to control things out of our control.

2 Chronicles 32:8 with him is an arm of flesh; but with us is Yahweh our God to help us, and to fight our battles. The people rested themselves on the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

No matter how much human logic we apply its not going to work what we have done despite all the injustice and evil being done against us is read the bible with an agenda. We have taken one side of the issue either as a prosecutor or a defense attorney and built our own case for our client, who is ultimately us!

Proverbs 12:15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who is wise listens to counsel.

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.

Now the test of truth comes, because we are told by our Master and Lord Christ Jesus it would; has the truth been revealed to us from heaven or from flesh and blood; will our faith stand?

Luke 12:49 "I came to throw fire on the earth. I wish it were already kindled.
The Mind-set That Paints the Narrative

Have we been sent to preach? Billions upon billions have! However, a words long lost in our society is the Great Commission which causes millions to go off into all corners of our earth to preach the Good News of Christ. This commission has went on for thousand's of years, since Christ commanded it, but whom sent them to preach was the commission from heaven or earth?

Mark 13:22 For there will arise false christs and false prophets, and will show signs and wonders, that they may lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.

Luke 6:26 Woe,{TR adds "to you"} when{TR adds "all"} men speak well of you, for their fathers did the same thing to the false prophets.

These are truths we are all going to be test on at some point, if the power to preach the Good News has been from flesh and blood, it will fail, the power of that flesh must fade as does all flowers of the field, but if it has been from heaven it must have certain success, and endure forever. Humbling is it not?

1Cor.3:4 For when one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," aren't you fleshly? 3:5 Who then is Apollos, and who is Paul, but servants through whom you believed; and each as the Lord gave to him? 3:6 I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase.

So if being a teaching is more important than the truth from heaven, that is, so we can build up a resume' to present to humans as proof of our Christianity?

Subsequently, we may like the glory and attention but our students will all fail as they repeat our mistakes choosing truths reveled from the bible by flesh and blood, and not allowing the truth from heaven Jesus Christ to reveal it to them by his eternal power that cannot fail.

Matthew 18:10 See that you don't despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.

Yes, we can hang a milestone on our students necks, by legislating them into an human organization that counts numbers and increases as heavens divine revelations of proof of God's approval!

You see, here are some stunning truth's! If the whole world was filled with bibles, and every school in the world; every family in the world, and government, college, and institution made it mandatory that only the bible be taught. Would the world have the truth?

Colossians 2:8 Be careful that you don't let anyone rob you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the elements of the world, and not after Christ.

Most would say: “That would be a Christian's delight a dream come true!” But what if you found just as many evils and injustices being done in that world wide society as the ones we live in today? Would we then be willing to say that even with all this education of bible that it wasn't revealed from heaven, so it has no real everlasting power to change lives if God isn't behind it? Are we willing to confess such false truth does not pass the test of truth by fire?

James.3:11 Does a spring send out from the same opening fresh and bitter water? 3:12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water.

Yet, so many of us want like little children without the maturity of Christ to pick through a barrel of rotten fruit to find one piece of good society is doing or has done, so we can declare it as coming from God, from heaven; having God's power from heaven behind it in their government, in their religion, and or is some institution.

1 Corinthians 5:6 Your boasting is not good. Don't you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?

Speaking Truth

None us know what is of God's or in us until it is tested and shaken by the revelation of Christ the truth of God from heaven! Let be clear here and speak as men of truth do without out agenda's!

1Cor.4:1 So let a man think of us as Christ's servants, and stewards of God's mysteries. 4:2 Here, moreover, it is required of stewards, that they be found faithful. 4:3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by man's judgment. Yes, I don't judge my own self. 4:4 For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord. 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.

There is a time in the future where Christ rules over our earth for a thousand's years, where the earth will be full of the knowledge of YHWH from sea to sea, where the Spirit of God will be like the waters of this vast and beautiful oceans of our planet home. No hurt or harm will be done. Now that is the power from heaven and God's work in mankind, that is, of God and Christ, are we there yet?

Revelations.20:1 I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.
20:2 He seized the dragon, the old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole inhabited earth, and bound him for a thousand years, 20:3 and cast him into the abyss, and shut it, and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, until the thousand years were finished. After this, he must be freed for a short time.

No! We are not, but here is the painful truth! What happens at the end of that thousand's year rule?

Had all even under these perfect condition of God's had the truth revealed to them from heaven? In this case yes! (by Holy Spirit) But but still human rebel against the Spirit of God and must be cast into eternal second death, forever!

Revelations. 20:7 And after the thousand years, Satan will be released from his prison, 20:8 and he will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war; the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 20:9 They went up over the breadth of the earth, and surrounded the camp of the saints, and the beloved city. Fire came down out of heaven from God, and devoured them.
20:10 The devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are also. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Legislating truth is a man made idea, it will not work, God had his law legislated for thousand's of years to Israel, did it work? Well, based upon religious calculation in today's world of Christianity as proof of God's favor it was a glowing failure, only a handful of the Jews accepted Christ Jesus, a remnant.

Romans 9:27 Isaiah cries concerning Israel, "If the number of the children of Israel are as the sand of the sea, it is the remnant who will be saved;
Accepting Truth From Heaven

Painful truth! Did you note from God's word the bible that the real Good News is preached from heaven, not the earth? The truth cannot be revealed from flesh and blood. Not unless God himself had his own Son lie to us!

John.1:11 He came to his own, and those who were his own didn't receive him.

- 1:12 But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name:
1:13 who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

The truth is not in mankind procession, it is not us, or anything to do with coming from this world, the truth is not of flesh and blood a hard truth!

Not even Christ while on earth took such honor or privilege he stated the truth must be revealed by God from heaven for it to be truth, that is, the truth God gives us. No matter if the whole world accepted Christianity in the name of Christ if God did not reveal it to us its not truth!

John 16:13 However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming.

The bible is very clear on this subject no matter what are mind-set is on it. We cannot change the everlasting truth that God does not reveal himself to everyone because of our knowledge, or our love of knowledge, or because we would die for our bibles, not even how good we teach the bible or how big the mother ship is of our faith.

1Cor.1:28 and God chose the lowly things of the world, and the things that are despised, and the things that are not, that he might bring to nothing the things that are:
1:29 that no flesh should boast before God.

God is clear, the power of life is his, the power then of his Son life is his, the power of the Good News is his,

- and it is God who reveals truth to anyone he chooses to reveal it to despite everything and everyone on earth.

Isa. 40:13 Who has directed the Spirit of Yahweh, or has taught him as his counselor? 40:14 Who did he take counsel with, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of justice, and taught him knowledge, and showed him the way of understanding?

This world we live in is not his, and if we have the truth from heaven we would know that. Few, if any get this main point they are always about like little children tying to mix the two together like different colors of play doe.

But it is not a play game for children it is the foundation of truth and light for those standing in faith that God has promised to be tested as if by fire, and here is a painful truth most Christian's don't understand this because it has not been revealed to them from heaven, but humans that speak and look good in the flesh that have taught them!

Matt.7:31 {TR adds "But the Lord said,"}"To what then will I liken the people of this generation? What are they like?
7:32 They are like children who sit in the marketplace, and call one to another, saying, 'We piped to you, and you didn't dance. We mourned, and you didn't weep.' 7:33 For John the Baptizer came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, 'He has a demon.' 7:34 The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, 'Behold, a gluttonous man, and a drunkard; a friend of tax collectors and sinners!' 7:35 Wisdom is justified by all her children."

There only two spirits, one from God, and rest outside of God, one is light, and all the rest are from darkness. We are created from one or the other, from the spirit of this world, and/or from the Spirit of God.

The spirit of this world found in all humans on earth hates the Spirit of God, the spirit in them lust against the Spirit of God. Such cannot be changed by knowledge alone, it is an unchangeable truth iflesh attacks the Spirit. Our so called teachings of flesh oppose the Spirit as light is to darkness. Only God can stop that war by giving us the truth from heaven.

That is why the earth is accounted a field of weeds with wheat planted among them. The weeds are vast and wide, out of control, and those planted from heaven by God's hand are few and selective not growing out of control, but by God's power, and by his choosing.

When Christ stated they are no part of this world, what he is telling us is that they like him would have God's Spirit in them, it is His Spirit that is opposed by this world spirit of darkness, we are but the vessel. He was also telling us; for that to happen would make then not of this world, just as the Father YHWH Spirit is not of this world! It was by having God's Spirit in them that makes them hated by this world as not of it spirits of darkness.

Ephesians 6:12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Ephesians 2:3 among whom we also all once lived in the lust of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.

Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.

Those are truths we cannot mixed together without polluting both; that is what false religion does and practices and that is why false Christian's are fleshly like the religion which reveal truth to them from flesh and blood.

Matthew 13:38 the field is the world; and the good seed, these are the children of the Kingdom; and the darnel weeds are the children of the evil one.

Last painful truth! There are a new heavens and new earth awaiting those that have had the truth revealed to them from heaven. This is a painful truth because it kills what false religion loves the most the flesh!

It is the flesh and its thoughts of the flesh which wants to preserve this world and the things of this world by stealing the kingdom of God as weed steal the ground of Gods' field of wheat.

Yet, this painful truth tells us that nothing in those new heavens of that evil flesh found in sin will be there in paradise with God. There will no more what? Pain, no more tears, no more sickness, and no more death.

Do we imagine that with God are found the lust of our flesh? Then we must believe death is in God, and evil, sickness, pain and sorrow, tears, and outcry from painful disease and mental sickness.

Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

Romans 8:12 So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

Romans 8:13 For if you live after the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

Do we deny the truth from heaven so we do not give up our own agenda on earth from our own corrupted flesh? You see, God says these word are faithful and truth that he is creating all things new; not refurbished them, or reforming them, or patched them up. Why would that offend us if we like Christ are not of this world? Rather we are new, a new heavens, a new earth where he then can put his Holy Spirit so it won't be attacked or hated by wicked evil spirit forces giving their power and lust to men's and woman in their flesh.

Why did God's word tells us we are dead in our flesh in Christ created new to God, and further tell us that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom if it not true?

Why would we be told a lie that our flesh cannot please God when so many teach that it can? Not only that, but it is the most important point of truth for eternal life; clean it make it perfect in every action to please God in the flesh? Why wouldn't they promote this world and things in this world as coming from God if they didn't have the same spirit? Why would we be so foolish that we cannot see the same fruit on all the worlds tree branches in religion, government and commerce? The question answered itself? How could they do otherwise if the truth hasn't been revealed to them from heaven, but by flesh and blood?

1 John 1:2 (and the life was revealed, and we have seen, and testify, and declare to you the life, the eternal life, which was with the Father, and was revealed to us);

1 John 2:19 They went out from us, but they didn't belong to us; for if they had belonged to us, they would have continued with us. But they left, that they might be revealed that none of them belong to us.

1 Peter 1:12 To them it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to you, they ministered these things, which now have been announced to you through those who preached the Good News to you by the Holy Spirit sent out from heaven; which things angels desire to look into.

As the truth is revealed from heaven so will it be revealed in us to see if our works are of this world, or built by God from His world, revealed to us from heaven?

2 Thessalonians 1:7 and to give relief to you who are afflicted with us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire.
