Owe No One Anything But Love

Romans.13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.

We don’t live in a world of love, no we don’t! But we experience love in this life, we long to be loved and to love others because it is part of us as one of God’s creations, who calls himself love!

So it isn’t hard to deduce that we live in world and/or a system of things created by something other than love. Furthermore, God is love, so we must reason logically that God’s world, his system of things is created in love, because he is love.

1 John 4:8 He who doesn't love doesn't know God, for God is love.

Now of course all this thinking can cause us confusion being that we live in a world, a system of things that isn’t love, and truth is we all identify by our world, that is, by our feeling which has created our world. Subsequently, when we read and/or consume food from our bibles we digest that information by the world/system of things we are in and has created us into the person we are so tat we can live and survives in this world, but not in God’s world of love.

Light and Darkness

When a child stands in their parents love they are in the light, and they have no fear of punishment; do they? But when they fear punishment from their parents their world is full of fears and suspicion in how their parents are going to deal with them?

So with that thought we have a huge monster in the room, called religion that gives us the fear of God by platitudes in selling us a better life on earth so we can fit into this system of thing not create by God, while allowing us to live in darkness by using legal explanation created by our religion and their scholars explaining to us what God’s love is.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.

But when a child stands in their parents love, they knows they are in the light, and they know when they are not in the light. So when they have fear of punishment they are filled with darkness of their own thoughts which are every changing about their parents love for them.

Hebrews 13:6 So that with good courage we say, "The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?"{Psalm 118:6-7}

In other words, an intellectual understanding of their parents cannot be substituted for standing in the light of their parents love; rather they find themselves in darkness and fear is trying to find the light by intellectually explaining by what actions they must take to earn their parents love again; which of course hasn’t changed, but their own disobedience causes a fear of punishment, a separation from their parents.

1 John 1:5 This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

And it is those reasoning found in darkness which has created religion, not just Christian’s religion, but all religion and that is why there is a common threads of truth and love found in all them even the most primitive worship on earth. The error for us is to think because there is commonality that there is greater light if we put them all together, when in fact they are all in darkness because they lack the light of being in God’s love, in a personal relationship with our Father YHWH in heaven. (religion analysis God’s love from fear of displeasing him, but it is not a substitute for our personal Father son relationship we must have with God to stand in the light)

There is talking about the light, and than there is standing in the light experiencing the love of God!

So to be clear here, an intellectual understanding of God is not the truth of God’s love, which is, called the light in our bibles. Intellectual reasoning can not give us God’s love, it is gotten only by faith in God who is love, and when we reason by the fear of punishment from God, we are in the darkness, and not the light of God’s love! It is faith that conquers the world, which is the fear of punishment that it was subjected too because of sin that alienates us from God and his love.

Romans 8:15 For you didn't receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, "Abba {Abba is an Aramaic word for father or daddy, often used affectionately and respectfully in prayer to our Father in heaven.}! Father!"

Romans 5:17 For if by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one; so much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ.

The world, its system of things was created by darkness in fear of punishment that Adam and Eve found themselves in after disobeying God their Father, thus, by their sinning against His love is the darkness our bibles is speaking about.

The Test of Faith The proof of Gold

So lets test our faith by truth. We are told that love owes no one anything but love. Do we realize that in one sort sentence every law of mankind ever written on this earth has just been wiped away! In other words, it not found in God’s world or where our new citizenship in found in heaven.

Philippians.3:20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;

Col.2:12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead. 2:13 You were dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh. He made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, 2:14 wiping out the handwriting in ordinances which was against us; and he has taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross; 2:15 having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

And by those inspired words from God is the absolute proof that our world is in complete darkness! All of our laws, all our religions, our governments and commerce are set up in doing anything but too owe each other something for our love!

Yes, we must see that these two worlds are not compatible, that is, God’s world of light and our world created in darkness of sin are clearly not the same. Now as foolish as this sounds we must say it nonetheless. Just because we have a commonality of truth and love found in all of us, and in what we create, does not mean its God’s world or even from God.

That like saying my parents gave me some good traits, but I used those traits to create a world they had nothing to do with or wanted in the first place. Yes, it true, think about it? Satan the Devil was full of wisdom, power, and beauty, but what did he create? Nothing for God, nothing God want or had in his world! Thus, we all lay many things at God’s feet and in the name of God’s love by our religion, by our intellectual reasoning which actually has nothing to do with God, or his world, let alone his love, but rather it is from our own desires that we think are God’s.

James.4:1 Where do wars and fightings among you come from? Don't they come from your pleasures that war in your members?
4:2 You lust, and don't have. You kill, covet, and can't obtain. You fight and make war. You don't have, because you don't ask.
4:3 You ask, and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures.
4:4 You adulterers and adulteresses, don't you know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

We Must Press the Issue Further

Yes, we must press this issue further, then we will see why in a moment? So with that in mind we are going to ask some questions regarding love.

If someone offends us what do they owe us? Do they owe an apology? Do they owe us proof in not doing it again? Do they have to pay us a fine, or a compensation of some type?

The next question is, what does God owe us?

What do our friends owe us? What does our family owe us, and what does our religion owe us?

What does our government owe us, and/or our jobs owe us?

Now if we boast in being a Christian we our into deep trouble at this point because we just proved we are like the world and we have mixed some of God into everything.

Yes, we have mixed God’s love into the values of this world, but we cannot mix the same into God’s world; we instinctively know that every thing and every body in our world does owe us something just because they are human and are associated with us!

1 Corinthians 2:12 But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God.

So what does anyone owe us as a Christian, what do they owe us to be apart of our religion, do they owe us to speak and think the way we do, or what we want them to do before we love them freely? Must they vote a certain way, dress a certain way? Eat a certain way, what do they owe us?

Where then as a Christian’s can we go toget our payment?

OK this isn’t going to set will obviously with some of us! So lets press this issue even further. Lets do the old love trick which is, let define how love works by “principles”, you know, we all do this. “if this person love me, and/or they are a real Christian they should do this or that because that is the principles of love and love would not allow them to do this or that to me judged by the principles of love!”

Romans 8:32 He who didn't spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things?

Truth check! So what honestly would they owe us it would be love, but the real question is what do we owe them? So if they owe us something doesn’t that give us the right to stop loving them until when? Until they pay us, doesn’t that give us the excuse to stop loving them because they owe us the principles of love which they are not paying us?

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;

You see, we are not going to get around the nature of sin in us, we cannot be God’s love, we can know it, we can talk about it, but when we experience it, and few of us do because our religion has defined God’s love as an obligation in the principle of love that must be paid back in some manner; through an obligation so we can give our religious love back to them.

But if we are in the light of God’s love we would know there is only one pure refined gold that we have it is our faith that God is love, and not us. God owe us nothing he does not owe us a debt, because he is love.

And because he is love he loves us and watches over us, and takes care of us that is not an obligation or a thinking thing about what is right and what is wrong, but rather it is what love is; love can only we act in love, God is love that is the light, and the only message we have heard from the beginning of our birth into God’s love Christ Jesus!

1 Timothy 6:16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light; whom no man has seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and eternal power. Amen.

1 John 2:9 He who says he is in the light and hates his brother, is in the darkness even until now. 2:10 He who loves his brother remains in the light, and there is no occasion for stumbling in him.

The question is do we only love God when we get what we want? In other words, do we obligate God to pay us to prove he loves us? What happen when God doesn’t give us what we want do we think God’s not paying his debt too us because he is a God of love? Then we are in darkness because God loves us freely without debt no, God cannot have a debt because he is love no matter what condition we are found in, and that is how we have been made perfect in God’s love?

How many people have destroy their lives, and others over a debt what they think God’s love is, or what someone else owes them? And when their high standards of love are not meant in a repayment from them or God their entire world is devastated; many have kill themselves, and others over a principle they could not meet themselves.

Ephesians 4:7 But to each one of us was the grace given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

There is no greater violation in this world then when others offend our love treating it with disrespect, yet, if we knew God’s love we would not obligate anyone to love us a certain way, we would not be in a constant state of hurt and disappointment, simply, because love isn’t a bunch of rules and principles; love has no law against it.

Gal. 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,{or, faithfulness} 5:23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Love gives, it does not take, it does not demand, it does not compare, or measure the amount of love given or taken, it just is, it is the perfect present of God in our lives, that is, God love which does not exist in a lesser form, or a greater form. If love is gone, we live in darkness, if it is present we live in light of the living God, who is love.

Love cast fear out, it cast this world out and its darkness, it cast all evil out. And if we know the truth of love, it not about others showing us love, it actually about God perfecting his love in us, because he is love there are no comparisons or debts in God’s love! And when he lives in us, we are no part of this world and it has no hold on us by the debts that have built this world and all of its system of things rule by wicked spirit force in darkness.

John 3:19 This is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil.

John 8:23 He said to them, "You are from beneath. I am from above. You are of this world. I am not of this world.

John 12:46 I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in me may not remain in the darkness.

John 16:33 I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."

Let us not make the mistake of religion God’s love is free, for love can be nothing less than freely given. If we are not experiencing God’s love it is because in us is darkness that we think is light and we are demanding God’s love by some high principle found in our bible or somewhere else in the form of a debt that must yet be paid.

We are telling ourselves until I do this or that God can’t love me, and/or I will not love others. Those choices are not of God, and we have fooled ourselves if we think we are following God’s rules of love. That does not mean we aren’t correcting others, it means we don’t fooled ourselves into thinking that correcting others will bring us more love from God or the person we are correcting because they now owe us love!

It won’t and it has never worked, however, God’s love can’t fail, our ways will always fail. So are we getting the picture yet, hopefully? Which is God’s world is created by His love that never fails, buy not this world, and not ours ways they will not have complete success and set the entirely creation free, it is the freedom found in God love that is a gift freely given that removes the vanity and futility this world? Its not our love that set creation free because we are all sinner in darkness without the light not unless we have been given a “taste” of the Kingdom of God created from love in his Son Christ Jesus.

2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves.

Colossians 1:26 the mystery which has been hidden for ages and generations. But now it has been revealed to his saints.

This is the love we get a taste of in our faith, and we rest from our works in trying to gain God’s love from each other by some bible principle or religious teaching in saying: “God love is enough that is all I need, and in that love I will rest from all things of justifying this world as God’s love thinking we can gain love by working for it;” something God has given us freely if we have faith in it!

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn't receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

Trying to go some where do something is not going to gain God’s love, there is no such thing as gaining more of God’s love, or God loving us less or more!

1Cor.3:21 Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours, 3:22 whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come. All are yours,
3:23 and you are Christ's, and Christ is God's.

All things of darkness our in us as it is in everyone else we all sin and fail short of God’s glory; don’t look at the darkness in our brothers eye thinking we have the light so that we can see their imperfections. God has removed those things by his love so we can be fully in light by God’s grace not by works!

Isn’t removing the speck from our brothers eye a work that we thinking is going to make us and them a better person that God’s is going to love more, how can one be better in God’s love which is given us freely by undeserved kindness/grace? When we judge by the standards of this world which Christ did not, we are in darkness not the light!

Matt. 7:1 "Don't judge, so that you won't be judged.
7:2 For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you. 7:3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye? 7:4 Or how will you tell your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye;' and behold, the beam is in your own eye?

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

It is true we can not trust in God’s love that much the simple act of judging proves we are full of the same darkness that is found in all mankind. All that we are stating in our judgment is that we are lacking in love and the exaction of that speck in our brothers eye fool us into thinking it replaces the light the love of God we should have for them.

No juding will not give us what we need, and we may not even know we need it, the love of God, it won’t but we cannot believe that nothing is lacking in God’s love and we will not get it, or more of it or less of it by anything we do. Rather is comes by simply believing in God’s love in good and bad season that it does not change or vary like we do and all this world does. We are not gaining God’s love by our actions, God’s love is given us freely because we are not deserving of it, because he is love!

So even when this darkness is in us, that is, our lack of faith in God’s love He is greater than our hearts, not our bible, not our religion, but our hearts (personal, not what is right and wrong in our religion or someone else) it is us that lack the light, ( it is God that is fixing us not someone else of our religion.

God’s love is from above not in man’s heart upward it not found in words, deeds, written or unwritten by us, God’s love too us cannot be stopped by anything on this earth. He gives us perfect gifts. He does not give us a love that is lacking; a little bit as we work to get it. God is love, his love is freely given in full measure because love can do no less, God is love. Thus, love fulfills everything on this earth found in darkness because it cannot owe anyone a single thing but love!

So have faith in God’s love, even if you hate yourselves God does not, he is light he is always light that never changes from moment to moment in passion found in our flesh in our ways. he is the rock perfect in all his ways He is waiting for us to come home to the eternal light of his love in faith!

Please note not back to a religion, a friend, a lover, or a child, we come home to the Father’s love having no conditions that we lay on him or ourselves, we come completely home like the pedagogical son did!

Luke.15:11 He said, "A certain man had two sons.
15:12 The younger of them said to his father, 'Father, give me my share of your property.' He divided his livelihood between them.
15:13 Not many days after, the younger son gathered all of this together and traveled into a far country. There he wasted his property with riotous living.
15:14 When he had spent all of it, there arose a severe famine in that country, and he began to be in need.
15:15 He went and joined himself to one of the citizens of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed pigs.
15:16 He wanted to fill his belly with the husks that the pigs ate, but no one gave him any.
15:17 But when he came to himself he said, 'How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough to spare, and I'm dying with hunger!
15:18 I will get up and go to my father, and will tell him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight.
15:19 I am no more worthy to be called your son. Make me as one of your hired servants."'
15:20 "He arose, and came to his father. But while he was still far off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
15:21 The son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.'
15:22 "But the father said to his servants, 'Bring out the best robe, and put it on him. Put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet.
15:23 Bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let us eat, and celebrate;
15:24 for this, my son, was dead, and is alive again. He was lost, and is found.' They began to celebrate.
15:25 "Now his elder son was in the field. As he came near to the house, he heard music and dancing.
15:26 He called one of the servants to him, and asked what was going on.
15:27 He said to him, 'Your brother has come, and your father has killed the fattened calf, because he has received him back safe and healthy.'
15:28 But he was angry, and would not go in. Therefore his father came out, and begged him.
15:29 But he answered his father, 'Behold, these many years I have served you, and I never disobeyed a commandment of yours, but you never gave me a goat, that I might celebrate with my friends.
15:30 But when this, your son, came, who has devoured your living with prostitutes, you killed the fattened calf for him.'
15:31 "He said to him, 'Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours.
15:32 But it was appropriate to celebrate and be glad, for this, your brother, was dead, and is alive again. He was lost, and is found.'"

James.1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers.
1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. :18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

Philippians 3:21 who will change the body of our humiliation to be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working by which he is able even to subject all things to himself.

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
