Headship

The word headship, the idea of headship has been removed from western civilization. The endless war between male and female has been abolished from western culture not even Christian’s religion teach or promote the doctrine of headship any longer.

There is hardly a more despised and hated subject in our society than headship. But it is true that in the Muslim religion headship is still as basic teaching, a doctrine of their faith.

However, before we started this subject let us be clear that once sin entered into our world from Eve’s lack of headship to Adam there has been a war between the genders a never ending oppression of both sex’s depending on which gender is in power.

Gods words applies to both sex’s equally:

Rom.3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.
3:11 There is no one who understands. There is no one who seeks after God.
3:12 They have all turned aside. They have together become unprofitable. There is no one who does good, no, not, so much as one."{Psalms 14:1-3; 53:1-3; Ecclesiastes 7:20}
3:13 "Their throat is an open tomb. With their tongues they have used deceit."{Psalm 5:9} "The poison of vipers is under their lips;"{Psalm 140:3}
3:14 "Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness."{Psalm 10:7}
3:15 "Their feet are swift to shed blood.
3:16 Destruction and misery are in their ways.
3:17 The way of peace, they haven't known."{Isaiah 59:7-8}
3:18 "There is no fear of God before their eyes."{Psalm 36:1}

Subsequently, we do will to take sin into consideration rather then if headship is from God or not, simply because everything God has created and originally blessed human’s with, has clearly in one form or another being or been abused by imperfect humans corrupted by sin.

For example God is love but human are not that does not mean God is no longer love it means mankind because of sin fails short of God’s love all of us do.

Ps.90:8 You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence.
90:9 For all our days have passed away in your wrath. We bring our years to an end as a sigh.
90:10 The days of our years are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty years; yet their pride is but labor and sorrow, for it passes quickly, and we fly away.
90:11 Who knows the power of your anger, your wrath according to the fear that is due to you?
90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

Human abuse does not define or changes God’s righteous standards even if our applying them only proves we are a sinner that can’t meet God’s standards.

In other words, in reading your bible the message is very clear Jesus Christ came to earth to save humans from their sin, in doing so he gave us eternal life, which is, a gift of God’s undeserved kindness, which is, grace.

Christ Jesus did not come to fix our problems on this earth, but to save us once for all time undeservedly from ours sins. The world that we are born into is darkness against the ways of God, without God we are left to be our own god choosing what we think is good and what we think is evil. Subsequently, we are in a constant state of making mistakes and trying to correct those mistakes.

Jeremiah 10:23 Yahweh, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man who walks to direct his steps.

God’s standards of righteousness helps us stay more in check but it does not create a perfect world, or where headship is exercised
perfectly and if not it means that God did create headship or that what is practice among Christian’s today is proper headship.

2 Thessalonians 3:5 May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patience of Christ.

So let us set the table for this discussion by stating God has never used a woman or woman in a position to write or teach his word to his congregation rather that be in Israel, and/or Christianity. Nor has he used woman as a queen or king in Israel, let alone in the priesthood, or as a leader of Israel men.

Moreover, God has constantly, required the rule of headship for all his people from the creation of Eve from Adam’s rib.

Conversely, there is tons of admonishment for men to take the lead that they are the head of the woman and for woman to be in subjection to their husbands.

1 Corinthians 11:7 For a man indeed ought not to have his head covered, because he is the image and glory of God, but the woman is the glory of the man.

1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is the man, and the head of Christ is God.

1 Corinthians 11:4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head.

1 Corinthians 11:5 But every woman praying or prophesying with her head unveiled dishonors her head. For it is one and the same thing as if she were shaved.

1 Corinthians 11:7 For a man indeed ought not to have his head covered, because he is the image and glory of God, but the woman is the glory of the man.

1 Corinthians 11:10 For this cause the woman ought to have authority on her head, because of the angels.

Ephesians 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body.

Timothy 2:11 Let a woman learn in quietness with all subjection.
2:12 But I don't permit a woman to teach, nor to exercise authority over a man, but to be in quietness.
2:13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
2:14 Adam wasn't deceived, but the woman, being deceived, has fallen into disobedience;

Is this fair to woman when men fall short of God’s glory that is God’s love No! But neither is it fair to men when woman take their position of headship; abuse is abuse but still human abuse does not change God’s standards of what is good and what is evil.

Sadly, the real message is in our bibles is that abuse of each other should brings us to repentance by our realizing how far we fail short of God’s glory so we can be saved in grace!

Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.

Those wanting paradise on earth by legislating God laws will find how imperfect we actually are and how great God’s kindness is toward the human racing in trying to save us.

Rom.7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? May it never be! However, I wouldn't have known sin, except through the law. For I wouldn't have known coveting, unless the law had said, "You shall not covet."{Exodus 20:17; Deuteronomy 5:21}
7:8 But sin, finding occasion through the commandment, produced in me all kinds of coveting. For apart from the law, sin is dead.
7:9 I was alive apart from the law once, but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
7:10 The commandment, which was for life, this I found to be for death;
7:11 for sin, finding occasion through the commandment, deceived me, and through it killed me.
7:12 Therefore the law indeed is holy, and the commandment holy, and righteous, and good.
Rom.7:13 Did then that which is good become death to me? May it never be! But sin, that it might be shown to be sin, by working death to me through that which is good; that through the commandment sin might become exceeding sinful.
7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am fleshly, sold under sin.
7:15 For I don't know what I am doing. For I don't practice what I desire to do; but what I hate, that I do.
7:16 But if what I don't desire, that I do, I consent to the law that it is good.
7:17 So now it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwells in me.
7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good.
7:19 For the good which I desire, I don't do; but the evil which I don't desire, that I practice.
7:20 But if what I don't desire, that I do, it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwells in me.

Politics, Religion, and Business what they practices Does Not Change What God has Created.

What does politics, religion, and commerce have to do with headship? Actually everything in corrupting our understanding of headship! When we finally get it, that is, that there are three basic elements of Satan the Devils rulership over this world that these three pillars keeps his world going that they are actually one in the same.

1 John 5:19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

For example, does religion exist if it does not uses the laws of government to control and keep its members? Well,`not really if we take a moment to think about it? How about commerce/business do they exist without the laws of government? That’s easy to see, however, we may not understand government does not exist without the other two elements of religion and business.

Religion for most Christian’s is a mystery simply because they don’t use God’s wisdom to unlock its mystery which is religion elements are commerce, governmental laws allowing it to existence, mixed with biblical laws to justify it being a part of this world.

1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith.

1 John 2:17 The world is passing away with its lusts, but he who does God's will remains forever.

1 John 2:15 Don't love the world, neither the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father's love isn't in him.

its true even in countries where they don’t allow religion they still worship a leader, the government, or they replace religion in another form of idolatry like patriotism.

Revelation 9:20 The rest of mankind, who were not killed with these plagues, didn't repent of the works of their hands, that they wouldn't worship demons, and the idols of gold, and of silver, and of brass, and of stone, and of wood; which can neither see, nor hear, nor walk.

1 John 5:21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols.

But how does headship come into play with these three elements mention above? What is the political view about headship in Christian’s counties at this time? Religion may boast of resisting the political views of our world but everyone knows they are one and the same over time. Thus, religion will absorb like a sponge the political views over time or it will not stay in business.

Rev.17:4 The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of the sexual immorality of the earth.
17:5 And on her forehead a name was written, "MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH."

Rev.18:3 For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her sexual immorality, the kings of the earth committed sexual immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich from the abundance of her luxury."

Yes, religion is a business as much as any business, and all religion has politics within them hust as much a government, religion is a business that uses the other elements of this world to keep it going just like government uses taxation so to religion uses a form of taxation on its members.

In other words, if a minister who is hired by the business/religion, of a church starts preaching headship of the bible the business will go out of business because its not an accepted standard in the world we live in created by politics, business, and religion any longer.

Who ever wheels the most power by money will promote in society its morals and virtues. Today headship is considered an evil that men have created and put upon woman, and to make matters worst we have the Muslim religion that cruelly practice headship on woman as second rate citizens being touted that Christianity has practice the same or want to practice the same if not kept on a short leash by government.

However, let us understand that in the first century where Christian’s got its start Christ and his apostles and the disciples were politically natural and woman were not allowed to teach or take headship away from their husband and be in good standing with the pillars of the New Jerusalem above.

Rev. 2:19 "I know your works, your love, faith, service, patient endurance, and that your last works are more than the first.
2:20 But I have this against you, that you tolerate your{TR, NU read "that" instead of "your"} woman, Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. She teaches and seduces my servants to commit sexual immorality, and to eat things sacrificed to idols.
2:21 I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her sexual immorality.
2:22 Behold, I will throw her into a bed, and those who commit adultery with her into great oppression, unless they repent of her works.

The most notorious woman in our bibles is Babylon the Great the Harlot she takes headship away from whom? Over the church, Jesus Christ, the rightful appointed head over his own temple body by YHWH.

Heb. 1:1 God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,
1:2 has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds.
1:3 His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself made purification for our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

There wasn’t any question about headship truth by any writer of the bible, it was not a matter of being better educated as some would have you believe, or God changing his view on this subject that has endured from the creation of man and woman on this earth by the never changing God YHWH.

Psalms 110:4 Yahweh has sworn, and will not change his mind: "You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek."

Malachi 3:6 "For I, Yahweh, don't change; therefore you, sons of Jacob, are not consumed.

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Mankind take great pride in not changing, but God never changes minus our human pride.

James. 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers. 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

The loss of headship was factually about the great apostasy that Christ told his followers would happen after his living this earth. It was factually about not worshiping God, and making themselves a friend of this world by creating a religion that became a pillar and support to Satan rulership over this earth.

Matthew 13:33 He spoke another parable to them. "The Kingdom of Heaven is like yeast, which a woman took, and hid in three measures{literally, three sata. 3 sata is about 39 litres or a bit more than a bushel} of meal, until it was all leavened."

1 Corinthians 5:7 Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.

1 Corinthians 5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old yeast, neither with the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Galatians 5:9 A little yeast grows through the whole lump.

Headship is despised by Satan rulership he was a liar and a hater of headship from the Garden of Eden and still is. Satan is hater of family unity because he destroyed his own family by his self seeking glory to rule over the human race. The clear marking of all politics and those warring with flesh.

Satan has taken every good thing from God and has abused human’s with it including headship. In other words, as long as human hate God Satan wins. And woman in this world at this time hate headship. In fact, most marriage will not last in today’s world unless the woman is running things. If men will not submit to the woman headship she will leave her husband and if the law allows for it destroy him financially.

The Injustice continues no matter who is in charge male or female because sin from a denial of headship is in all of us from birth. Men scumming to woman control and woman taking control it makes no difference both are sins. Sin is not based on how it effect us, but rather what God righteous standards are for us.

Headship Cannot be Legislated

Religion and politics has legislated headship in the history of mankind and woman rebelled against it and still have hate and resentment over religious political legislation by government regarding headship!

In today’s world woman run the government not necessarily by numbers of woman in government but they dictate what is going to be accepted and rejected by those they vote or allow into office. The same is true in religion, and it is true in business as well.

Legislation is uses for protection and punishing those that don’t go along with the law. But God does not legislate headship, headship is God himself, its not a hat God puts on and takes off, God is the head, he is our king, and that will never change, for us to deny headship is to deny God himself.

The phony excuse that we are now more enlighten is the same old excuse Satan the Devil used to violate God’s headship to make Eve listen to him. The Devils took headship over Eve instead of her husbands. The deception Christian’s fail to see if woman takes headship they trade it for another headship, wicked spirit force in heavenly place that rule this world.

Moreover, when men trade Christ headship they come under the same evil wicked spirit forces just like Satan himself came under for trading God’s headship. What all of should know is there is no middle ground between light and darkness.

Ephesians 6:12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

At the loss of headship God did not set up a government right then and there and start legislating headship over woman. No! He did not, and here the whole point about headship, God is love, and any headship outside of God’s love is a flawed an imperfect headship that will always be abused.
So any man born into sin trying to make his wife submit to his headship is not going to have success but find resentment. And any woman resenting her husband headship will not have success either. Moreover, any woman taking her husband headship will not succeed with God or her husband as will.

James.4:1 Where do wars and fightings among you come from? Don't they come from your pleasures that war in your members?
4:2 You lust, and don't have. You kill, covet, and can't obtain. You fight and make war. You don't have, because you don't ask.
4:3 You ask, and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures.
4:4 You adulterers and adulteresses, don't you know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
4:5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who lives in us yearns jealously"?
4:6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."{Proverbs 3:34}
4:7 Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
4:8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Men making their wives submit deny Christ and God as well. So all of us are condemned equally as sinner men and woman fall short of God’s glory, which God is love, subsequently, God’s glory is love.
Eph.5:1 Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children. 5:2 Walk in love, even as Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.

Eph.5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body.
5:24 But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.
5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it;
5:26 that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,
5:27 that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
5:28 Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.
5:29 For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly;
5:30 because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones.
5:31 "For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh."{Genesis 2:24}
5:32 This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly.
5:33 Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
With that in mind we can start the subject of headship as a loving arrangement from the God of love. When men and woman marry in the Lord they understand they both are under grace, unmerited kindness, they are under something that is undeserved it would seem godly couples would be quick to forgive each other flaws simply because love covers a multitude of sins.

1 Peter 4:8 And above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins.

1 John 4:16 We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.

1 John 4:17 In this love has been made perfect among us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as he is, even so are we in this world.

No person beats their own flesh, or hates it, they cherish it and love it, so let none be so foolish to think that beating of wives or husband has anything to do with God’s love. Let us not think God is going to bless such actions. We of either sex must know its our own sins when making mandatory judgment by laws and enforcing them upon our mate by either sex. Love is not acceptable to God by making our wife or husband obey by some type corporal punishment.

Rom. 13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
13:9 For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not give false testimony," "You shall not covet,"{TR adds "You shall not give false testimony,"}{Exodus 20:13-15,17; Deuteronomy 5:17-19,21} and whatever other commandments there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."{Leviticus 19:18}
13:10 Love doesn't harm a neighbor. Love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.

We are not saying that parents don’t have the right to discipline their children from God.

What we are saying neither the woman or the man in Christ under the law of love; being they have been freely forgiven their sins can make another person their wife or husband love God by laws that discipline our flesh.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.{NU omits "who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"}

Romans 8:3 For what the law couldn't do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh;

Romans 8:4 that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

Romans 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

Making this point clearer as often needed, men and woman are not in a competition with each other using God’s words. They are not competing to look better than their own flesh their mate. They are not saying I am a better Christian’s than you because I do better at being your head or you do better because I submit to your headship. Christ is not a competition just as our own body should teach us our members within our body do not compete with each other.

Each person must bring themselves under headship because they love God more than themselves; not an easy task for us sinners.

James.1:19 So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger;
1:20 for the anger of man doesn't produce the righteousness of God.

Such evil of our flesh, and our own anger, will not bring God’s love or blessings. God’s headship is not like the rule-ship of the Devil and wicked spirit force leading and keeping human under captivity and darkness for thousand’s of years.

God’s headship for both sex’s is freedom in Christ Jesus that bring harmony and peace. That is not a condition we can reach on earth, but it is our reality we strive for allowing us to self-correct in God’s grace as we try to keep ourselves between the lines because we love God more than our own rulership over ourselves.
