“What we create is not life, they are things we have created by our life, when we worship the creation more than the creator we rob ourselves of life just like a fool because our best friend is a thief!”
Proverbs 29:24 Whoever is an accomplice of a thief is an enemy of his own soul. He takes an oath, but dares not testify.
Matthew 24:43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch of the night the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.
Luke 12:33 Sell that which you have, and give gifts to the needy. Make for yourselves purses which don't grow old, a treasure in the heavens that doesn't fail, where no thief approaches, neither moth destroys.
John 10:1 "Most certainly, I tell you, one who doesn't enter by the door into the sheep fold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
James.5:1 Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming on you. 5:2 Your riches are corrupted and your garments are moth-eaten. 5:3 Your gold and your silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be for a testimony against you, and will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up your treasure in the last days.
Facts: That generosity and compassion are good for our health is an ever-popular topic among self-help authors and researchers. Most of us require little convincing that the world would be a better place if we were kinder to one another and to ourselves. Research indicates that generosity increases happiness (Dunn et al., 2008), increases job satisfaction (Moynihan et al., 2015), fosters collective success by improving collaboration (Stewart & Plotkin, 2013), and caregiving improves our overall sense of well-being (Poulin et al., 2010). Generosity in married couples is associated with both greater happiness and improved long-term health outcomes (National Marriage Project, 2011). Furthermore, doing volunteer work is associated with improvement in mental health and physical well-being (Jenkinson, et al., 2013). Facts by Mark B. Borg, Jr, Ph.D., Grant H. Brenner, MD, & Daniel Berry, RN, MHA
