“Kindness is birthed from an honest evaluation of ourselves, kindness acknowledges our own sins, while forgiving the sins of others.”

Psalms 138:6 For though Yahweh is high, yet he looks after the lowly; but the proud, he knows from afar.

Facts: Ferrucci claims that we are going through “an Ice Age of the Heart” where people are often chilly and indifferent to each other. Our collective overreliance on technology, such as cell phones and email, to communicate with others  is a sign of this “global cooling.” Kindness, Ferrucci believes, is the trait that can save us. He quotes the Dalai Lama (who wrote the foreword to his book):
“I believe that if we stop to think, it is clear that our very survival, even today, depends upon the acts and kindness of so many people. Right from the moment of our birth, we are under the care and kindness of our parents; later in life, when facing the sufferings of disease and old age, we are again dependent on the kindness of others.”
