Proverbs Inspirational Quotes > The testing of our faith bring steadfastness in our spirit, thus, helping us meet and walk with God in the Spirit.
The testing of our faith bring steadfastness in our spirit, thus, helping us meet and walk with God in the Spirit. It does not bring steadfastness too our flesh as unbiblical doctrine teaches. God is not building up our self-righteousness, but rather allowing test of our faith, which breaks down our fleshly will in order to releases the spirit into complete dependency upon God’s Holy Spirit. Thus, mortifying it into the life of Christ; more and more until our faith is perfected into the Christ harmoniously.
1Pet.1:5-7 who by the power of God are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. Wherein you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been put to grief in various trials, that the proof of your faith, which is more precious than gold that perishes even though it is tested by fire, may be found to result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ—
Under these conditions and only under these conditions can the Spirit bear witness with our spirit in joy. The Holy Spirit does not bear witness in our flesh, thus the fleshly man cannot rejoice under test of his flesh, but the spiritual man indeed rejoices because God gives him the ability to do so – this ability is supernatural and miraculous coming down from above to us,- not from us or our flesh.
2Pet.5:1-5 Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; through whom we also have our access by faith into this grace in which we stand. We rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope: and hope doesn't disappoint us, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
