When your best isn’t good enough? Have you noticed Christ Jesus the Son of God never said “do your best”? Rather is said, we either do something or we don’t.
God does not lower his standards as we human do to go along to get along. Doing our best does not get us eternal life, why? We can either work to do our best to get eternal life or we can’t? Christ Jesus is God’s finish work for us, he did not do his best he obeyed perfectly and finished what none of us could do.
Our best was never good enough, But Christ Jesus sinless life was, Christ Jesus is God gift of love to us, he substituted for us, and that why we're under Grace, a free gift, an undeserved gift, something none of us have the merit, wealth, power or good works to buy.
