MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > Rom.9:25-27. - Four Red Blood Moons!

Rom.9:25 As he says also in Hosea, "I will call them 'my people,' which were not my people; and her 'beloved,' who was not beloved."{Hosea 2:23} 9:26 "It will be that in the place where it was said to them, 'You are not my people,' There they will be called 'children of the living God.'"{Hosea 1:10} 9:27 Isaiah cries concerning Israel, "If the number of the children of Israel are as the sand of the sea, it is the remnant who will be saved;

When it comes to the power of religion, and/or faith can there be anymore powerful force then physical worship of the Jews? Nothing upon earth has ever stirred up such profound emotions and feelings as has the power of Jewish faith.

Ephesians 3:16 that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man;

To date many religious people look to prophecy relating to the Jewish faith for the end of the world, and still in today's world Christian's stand in awe of the Jews and their worship. Subsequently, one must consider this power that the apostle Paul was addressing here in Roman's among those anointed ones by Holy Spirit, the appointed seed of righteousness for God's glory upon this earth. They posses nothing physically, in the way of temple service, they had no earthly temple, and to top matters off, many of the early Christian's were from out of the nations, forbidden by Jewish faith for them to worship in their temple in the holy place.

Heb. 6:1 Therefore leaving the doctrine of the first principles of Christ, let us press on to perfection--not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, of faith toward God,
6:2 of the teaching of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
6:3 This will we do, if God permits. 6:4 For concerning those who were once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit, 6:5 and tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the age to come, 6:6 and then fell away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance; seeing they crucify the Son of God for themselves again, and put him to open shame.

2 Corinthians 13:4 For he was crucified through weakness, yet he lives through the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we will live with him through the power of God toward you.

Galatians 4:9 But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, why do you turn back again to the weak and miserable elemental principles, to which you desire to be in bondage all over again?

The alluring power of the Jewish faith was deeply and profoundly effecting the thinking of God's anointed. The Holy Spirit had acted upon each child of God, let us call to mind, not by human reasoning, but free from any corrupt teaching of man and his religion by God Himself. The Holy Spirit anointed, and gave them the mind of Christ no matter if they were Jew or Gentle setting them free from sin, declaring them righteous indwelling them with Christ eternal life with a down payment of the Spirit sealed in their hearts.

Hebrews 7:16 who has been made, not after the law of a fleshly commandment, but after the power of an endless life:

Hebrews 2:14 Since then the children have shared in flesh and blood, he also himself in like manner partook of the same, that through death he might bring to nothing him who had the power of death, that is, the devil.

Hebrews 1:3 His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself made purification for our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.

Ephesians 3:20 Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

Still the power of fleshly worship defiled many of their minds with wanting the laws and rules of fleshly Israel brought into the truth, the Christ. Yes, in the “truth” Christ Jesus, the person giving them his righteousness so they were no longer condemned by laws righteousness towards their flesh. They were forgetting the very power of the kingdom which had delivered them from darkness into the wonderful light of God's love.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

Christ the truth completed the law, it was fulfilled in Christ, who is the truth; now they, and us, must walk in truth to please the Father they must stay in Christ the truth by faith, they no longer worshiped in the flesh and its connection to the power of the Jewish faith. No! They worshiped in Spirit and truth by God's power from which they were created new! They were dead to the law of the Jews, they had been delivered from it by the power of Christ indestructible life which was their righteousness.

1Cor.1:29 that no flesh should boast before God. 1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption: 1:31 that, according as it is written, "He who boasts, let him boast in the Lord."{Jeremiah 9:24}

1 Peter 2:24 who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.

Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.

Philippians 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

The power of the flesh is law, righteous laws that was striking fear into those newly converted children of God giving them a spirit of cowardice, not the power of Christ life indwelling them, with is the power of truth and love. God had made them into a powerful seed of God's righteousness in all the earth, not the Jewish faith. Now all could worship the Father in peace, in faith, and love. by the life of Christ working through them in Spirit and truth; Christ had cut short the righteousness law, and the temple worship upon earth in mere three and half years.

2Cor.3:7 But if the service of death, written engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the children of Israel could not look steadfastly on the face of Moses for the glory of his face; which was passing away: 3:8 won't service of the Spirit be with much more glory? 3:9 For if the service of condemnation has glory, the service of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.

Amazing the power of the new heavens where righteousness dwells! Think! Thousand's of years of wars, violence, and acts of courage by men of faith completed by heaven in just three and half years!

2Cor.3:11 For if that which passes away was with glory, much more that which remains is in glory. 3:12 Having therefore such a hope, we use great boldness of speech, 3:13 and not as Moses, who put a veil on his face, that the children of Israel wouldn't look steadfastly on the end of that which was passing away. 3:14 But their minds were hardened, for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains, because in Christ it passes away.
3:15 But to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart.
3:16 But whenever one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.

What power and love God has for his seed of righteousness planted by his own hand, but the question was, and still is for God's anointed? Would those newly converted Christian's embraces the glorious freedom of the son's of God, or turn back to the weak and beggarly things of mundane worship found in the Jewish faith?

Hebrews 7:19 (for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

Hebrews 8:6 But now he has obtained a more excellent ministry, by so much as he is also the mediator of a better covenant, which on better promises has been given as law.

Hebrews 10:1 For the law, having a shadow of the good to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect those who draw near.

James 1:25 But he who looks into the perfect law of freedom, and continues, not being a hearer who forgets, but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does.

2 Thessalonians 2:2 not to be quickly shaken in your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by letter as from us, saying that the day of Christ had come.

Hebrews 12:27 This phrase, "Yet once more," signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that have been made, that those things which are not shaken may remain.

Hebrews 12:28 Therefore, receiving a Kingdom that can't be shaken, let us have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe.
