MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > Heb.1:1,2. - One True Prophet

Heb.1:1 God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,
1:2 has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds.

Certainly Christian's love the stories of God's prophets in their bibles, how wonderful their powerful works were done in the name of God, but here is a truth that each one of us must grasp so we are not mislead?

Romans 15:18 For I will not dare to speak of any things except those which Christ worked through me, for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed.

Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.

Christ position upon his resurrection is everlasting, he alone is God's channel for all truth of the Father, truth to be revealed to mankind, he is God's one and last prophet. How can that be true, when we see prophets among God's disciples, and even in the book of Revelation?

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn't receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

All those points are true, however, none since Christ glorification can enter into life without going through Christ as the head of the congregation, that is, Christ the head of his body. All stem from one seed, one person, one faith, not many. Subsequently, further prophecies, and direction must come from above, to us, but how? Spirit and truth, that is, Spirit God's Holy Spirit and truth, Christ is the truth of God.

John 3:27 John answered, "A man can receive nothing, unless it has been given him from heaven.

John 5:44 How can you believe, who receive glory from one another, and you don't seek the glory that comes from the only God?

2 Peter 1:20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of private interpretation.

2 Peter 1:21 For no prophecy ever came by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke, being moved by the Holy Spirit.

We are warned, and such warning have proven absolutly true, from Christ God's one true prophet that many false prophets would araise since Christ was ressurrected. Two thousand's years of many false prophecies, not one has came true, not one! However, billions have been mislead for two thousand's years. Shocking that so many honest sincere truth seekers have been mislead by false prophets claiming to speak for God but what has all them missed?

Matt.7:21 Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 7:22 Many will tell me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, didn't we prophesy in your name, in your name cast out demons, and in your name do many mighty works?' 7:23 Then I will tell them, 'I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work iniquity.'

The simple truth, God speak just as its is stated above through his son Christ Jesus, not independent men and woman, who are not part of Christ as body members, servants. False prophet seek glory, recongnation for their prophecy tagging Christ name to those prophecy as though they are the head of the body. They seat themselves in the temple of God, what is the temple of God for Christian's? Christ Jesus and that is why we are in him, and he in us as the temple of God. That is why he speak through his body members as the one mouth to the body, and that is why there are not many wills in the body, but one, the will of the Father that Christ does perfectly.

Romans 12:4 For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don't have the same function, 12:5 so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

1 Corinthians 6:17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit.

1 Corinthians 12:3 Therefore I make known to you that no man speaking by God's Spirit says, "Jesus is accursed." No one can say, "Jesus is Lord," but by the Holy Spirit.

Galatians 3:16 Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He doesn't say, "To seeds," as of many, but as of one, "To your seed,"{Genesis 12:7; 13:15; 24:7} which is Christ.
