MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > Heb.1:3 - The Radiance of His Glory

Heb.1:3 His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself made purification for our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

What is the radiant glory of Christ Jesus? It is the image of God moral excellence that he reflects too us. Yes, we could not know the Father without the love of the Son, we could not know the mind of our Father without the son of God reflecting it perfectly into our hearts.

2 Peter 1:17 For he received from God the Father honor and glory, when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."{Matthew 17:5; Mark 9:7; Luke 9:35}

Now thinking about that perfection of all humility compared to what the world and what its leaders reflect? They unlike the son of God reflect their own image of greatness not sharing any glory with others, they are a god, for but a moment, in time through their own image.

James 2:1 My brothers, don't hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ of glory with partiality.

James 1:11 For the sun arises with the scorching wind, and withers the grass, and the flower in it falls, and the beauty of its appearance perishes. So also will the rich man fade away in his pursuits.

None are self-effacing, none put others above them, they take, they grasp for power, and control; all boast in their accomplishment. But Christ was made into the very image of God, he unlike Adam did not seek equality with God making his own decision about what is good and evil. Christ loved the Father knowing the Father was the only one that is good, the one Father of life through perfect love, a love that cannot work harm life created in God's love.

Matthew 19:17 He said to him, "Why do you call me good? No one is good but one, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments."

What is good, and what is evil? In love, we trust God that he is always good, we impute good, and not evil, we do not look for evil in God. Christ walked perfectly in God's love, he alone among all mankind small and great, even the faithful prophets of God, was the only one whom fulfilled the law, how? By living perfectly in God's love.
Romans 13:10 Love doesn't harm a neighbor. Love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.

James 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers. 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

1 Peter 3:9 not rendering evil for evil, or reviling for reviling; but instead blessing; knowing that to this were you called, that you may inherit a blessing.

Now thanks be to God, we have light, the light not of law, not of scriptures, but the key to eternal life, the thing opening the truth of God's word found in the scriptures, we have the perfect reflection of God's love shown in our hearts by Christ Jesus. We have been transferred into the wonderful light, translated into a new language of God, love, how? By the son's own love for the Father. We can reflect the light of God.

1 John 2:10 He who loves his brother remains in the light, and there is no occasion for stumbling in him.

1 John 1:5 This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.

Humility a lost cause in our world of haughtiness, everywhere human are seeking glory, so much that some murder innocent children for sick moment of glory, a sick evil glory just to be seen and heard. How unlike the perfect image of God, Christ Jesus, he waited, he did not seek his own glory knowing what so few understand today? Love, is life, love is the key to all problems of this dying world. We cannot go beyond love, there is no life beyond love, it is the one thing restoring all to perfect endless life. Love, cannot feel loss, it cannot feel jealousy, it cannot be lacking that is why its is perfect freedom from fear and death.

1 John 4:16 We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.

Christ knew what we must learn, no evil exist with God, he is the God of love, and when we put faith in that we are healed and we exult in truth of God our Father, this is the truth of a new heavens and new earth where God's righteousness dwells, where nothing will do harm, should we not like the son of God want to reflect that image in us?

1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. He who doesn't love his brother remains in death.

1 Peter 1:22 Seeing you have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth through the Spirit in sincere brotherly affection, love one another from the heart fervently:

Can we not be a fruit on the vine of Christ or do we need to be the tree? Can we not glory in God's love, knowing such love wipes away all tears, pain, and death caused by self-seeking glory. How can we know the depth of God's love, is there a creation that speak glory to God's love.

Rom.1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 1:19 because that which is known of God is revealed in them, for God revealed it to them. 1:20 For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse.

Yes, there is, and what is that? Look at the members of your own body, what want do they have for love from your own body? Nothing is lacking, there is no need for our eye to be jealous of our mouth, or the foot climbing the corporate leader to become a hand a more comely position; no, how foolish! Each is content, each knows the love of the body. Now imagine if you will, a new heavens and earth, where Christ mind unites all into one body, first his body, and than he gives back his kingdom to God, so God can becomes all things to everyone. Now we will find we are back in God's body, the Father, he alone is love, his feeling, and thoughts, we are life, without fear, we long for nothing, and nothing is missing, can you imagine such an image reflected by all living things?

Revelation 21:5 He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." He said, "Write, for these words of God are faithful and true."

Isaiah 65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox; and dust shall be the serpent's food. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, says Yahweh.

Rev.21:1 I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and the sea is no more.
21:2 I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready like a bride adorned for her husband.
21:3 I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying, "Behold, God's dwelling is with people, and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.
21:4 He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away."
21:5 He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." He said, "Write, for these words of God are faithful and true."
