Daily Bible Thought: Beaten With Many Stripes

Luke.12:47 That servant, who knew his lord's will, and didn't prepare, nor do what he wanted, will be beaten with many stripes, 12:48 but he who didn't know, and did things worthy of stripes, will be beaten with few stripes. To whoever much is given, of him will much be required; and to whom much was entrusted, of him more will be asked.

Here is an important question? When does God beat these slaves with stripes? We are clearly told Christ would come in a hour which his servant would not know, and if they were doing what they had been assigned the reward of all his belongings would be rewarded them!

Rom. 8:33 Who could bring a charge against God's chosen ones? It is God who justifies. 8:34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
8:36 Even as it is written, "For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter."{Psalm 44:22}
8:37 No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 8:39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We know for certain that Christ himself was a faithful slave, and/or servant of God, his death came at God's prescribed time and he was rewarded all of God's belongings upon his resurrection but not before. The apostle Paul speak of a time that God's temple, which is the body of Christ would be tested as if by fire, and anything not built upon Christ the foundations would be consumed by fire? In other words, anything of the flesh, the will of the flesh, and works of our flesh not created by the Holy Spirit cannot be added to Christ, instead it would be rejected as faulty material and consumed by fire of Spirit as not of Christ, it would be shown up, to all, and even the slaves of Christ as not the truth, that is, not for the building of God's temple, the house of God Christ was entrusted with as a faithful Son of God.

Hebrews 3:6 but Christ is faithful as a Son over his house; whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

This would causes much suffering and shame, stripes as it were, a beating by humiliation of all that we have worked so hard for in the name of Christ on earth only to be shown up as a lie! But let us note, we are told the person themselves would be saved, and not consumed by the fire. In Luke chapter twelve Christ also speaks of a baptism by fire, what does that mean? It means the houses of God under goes a judgment, but why? Simply because Spirit consumes fallen flesh, flesh cannot stand in the power of Holy Spirit, subsequently, let none of us forget we are the temple of God, so what is going to happen to are fleshly thoughts?

1Cor.11:27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks the Lord's cup in a manner unworthy of the Lord will be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord. 11:28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of the cup. 11:29 For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, if he doesn't discern the Lord's body. 11:30 For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and not a few sleep.
11:31 For if we discerned ourselves, we wouldn't be judged.
11:32 But when we are judged, we are punished by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.

Those fleshly thoughts are coming into judgment if we are truly his, Christ Jesus, but the question remains when does the master appear and discipline his servants, so that they are not lost, but saved although they under go judgment, and/or discipline of having their works tested as if by fire? The judgment of God's house started upon the out pouring of Holy Spirit, that is, the baptism by fire, under going the sanctification of Holy Spirit the putting to death of the flesh, where the flesh lust against the Spirit, which is Christ righteousness, not our personal righteousness, but the life of Christ in us.

Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

An entire nation of God's people were brought down, how, by accusing a sinless man of sin. In other words, here is the point, a sinner cannot judge a sinless person without their own judgment coming upon them. One can look into a mirror and judge the person looking back at them only to find out they have judged themselves worthy of death. Sin imputed to Christ a sinless person is unwittingly killing Christ, at least in our judgment of him, which means we have judged ourselves because Christ cannot be judged being he is sinless, he is life for that reason without sin. We have judged from what? Sin, in our own fallen flesh, we are not qualified to judge sinlessness, at all, because we are tainted by sin, we cannot know the truth of a sinless person. Because the truth of Christ can have no accusation of any kind leveled against him without it killing us the accuser, that is, bouncing off the perfect mirror back onto us as a sinner deserving of the judgment of sin, death!

James.1:23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man looking at his natural face in a mirror; 1:24 for he sees himself, and goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 1:25 But he who looks into the perfect law of freedom, and continues, not being a hearer who forgets, but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does.

1Cor. 4:1 So let a man think of us as Christ's servants, and stewards of God's mysteries. 4:2 Here, moreover, it is required of stewards, that they be found faithful. 4:3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by man's judgment. Yes, I don't judge my own self. 4:4 For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord. 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.

Hence, those in Christ are under judgment while left in a vessel of sinful flesh upon earth, which vessel has the life, holy life, righteous life, of Christ indwell them. A war of fleshly daily lust against the life of Christ, such is a fire of refinement, the judgment of God's house, the discipline of our Fathers a scourging at times, a constant consuming of our works not found in Christ. We cannot bring such things into the house of God without the immediate death to our fleshly thoughts/works putting us into a death state alienated from Christ until God undeserved kindness resurrects us back into the life of Christ.

1 Corinthians 4:9 For, I think that God has displayed us, the apostles, last of all, like men sentenced to death. For we are made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and men.
2 Corinthians 1:9 Yes, we ourselves have had the sentence of death within ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead.

2 Corinthians 4:10 always carrying in the body the putting to death of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.

2 Corinthians 4:11 For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus may be revealed in our mortal flesh.

2 Corinthians 4:12 So then death works in us, but life in you.

Those in Christ under go this sanctification their entire life, the judgment does not end until God calls them into Son everlasting kingdom declared before angles they are apart of the first and only faithful slave Christ Jesus, their judgment all the days of their flesh has been for life in view, their own life, not only theirs, but the setting free of the whole creation in to life, setting it free of the judgment upon sin. At that time the reward of Christ in Spirit and truth will become theirs as well because they are the body, the temple of God, as Christ is God's, so we are Christ, not many faiths, not many seeds, but one, one hope, one faith, one baptism, one anointing, one God, one Christ, and us a part of them as one.

Romans 8:28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

Romans 11:36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things. To him be the glory for ever! Amen.

1 Corinthians 8:6 yet to us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we live through him.

The beating cannot start after the first resurrection, once God's children are glorified, it must happen before they received incorruptibility of Christ life as theirs. It happens, while in their flesh, each day, as the baptism by fire, causing division with everyone they come into contact who walk in their flesh, they are no part of the flesh of this world. The flesh lust against the Spirit of righteousness indwelling them by the life of Christ. We should not be puzzled at the this burning among us, as if a strange thing is happening if we belong to Christ. We should understand this is the fire Christ started that his very soul was distress with it, the fire he threw to earth in anointing his disciple with his own anointing. It is our endurance to the end of this tent, this vessel made into the likeness of sin we walk in faith to over come this world. Than as Christ himself experienced God declaration of calling him faithful assigning him all things in heaven and upon earth as his inheritances. But note not until he finished his course, until than he suffered in his flesh mightily, let us not be fooled if we belong to him we have suffered in the war of flesh against Spirit, but not beyond what is common practice of the sinful flesh among mankind that is our position and future job to be made into vessels of mercy for God's glory.

Hebrews 5:7 He, in the days of his flesh, having offered up prayers and petitions with strong crying and tears to him who was able to save him from death, and having been heard for his godly fear.

Hebrews 12:9 Furthermore, we had the fathers of our flesh to chasten us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?

cts 8:33 In his humiliation, his judgment was taken away. Who will declare His generation? For his life is taken from the earth."{Isaiah 53:7,8}

Philippians 3:21 who will change the body of our humiliation to be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working by which he is able even to subject all things to himself.

Heb.1:1 God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 1:2 has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds. 1:3 His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself made purification for our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 1:4 having become so much better than the angels, as he has inherited a more excellent name than they have. 1:5 For to which of the angels did he say at any time, "You are my Son. Today have I become your father?"{Psalm 2:7} and again, "I will be to him a Father, and he will be to me a Son?"{2 Samuel 7:14; 1 Chronicles 17:13} 1:6 Again, when he brings in the firstborn into the world he says, "Let all the angels of God worship him."
