Daily Bible Thoughts: Mystery Hidden In God

Eph.3:8 To me, the very least of all saints, was this grace given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, 3:9 and to make all men see what is the administration{TR reads "fellowship" instead of "administration"} of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God, who created all things through Jesus Christ;

Just what is it about human nature that the more we have the less we appreciate what we have? Never before in human history has there been more knowledge; at the turn of the last century the average person had never read as much information in an entire life time as one Sunday edition of the New York Times.

Daniel 12:4 But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run back and forth, and knowledge shall be increased."

Ecclesiastes 1:18 For in much wisdom is much grief; and he who increases knowledge increases sorrow.

Moreover, we can say without a doubt what a selfish and self-center world we live in now with so much knowledge everyone and every thing is taken for granted. What's new and exciting oneday is discharged as old the next, once the newness wears off, although, for that moment it was the end of our world, even the death of hundreds of lives are quickly discharged for lack of excitement for the next new event. One word in the public eye can and often does destroy a person life's work. The more parents give the less they are appreciated, but God does not raise brats, spoiled brats.

Heb.12:6 For whom the Lord loves, he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives."{Proverbs 3:11-12} 12:7 It is for discipline that you endure. God deals with you as with children, for what son is there whom his father doesn't discipline?

The riches of Christ cannot be found without much discipline of us, to bring to nothing the thoughts of our flesh, by the painful scourges of our heavenly Father, the Father of our eternal spirit. Those thinking it all old news the hidden treasures of God found in Christ are old news wanting to move on to the next exciting thing, such as new prophecy, new dates, new light, are not in Christ the light. Our fellowship in Christ as his body members is our truth, it is the depth of all God's love created from the truth (Christ the truth) all He has done for mankind is found in Christ our truth, he is the first and the last there is nothing in between. Everything in Christ is new, eternal life is not old, and mundane, dragging along so one must run to something more exciting, eternal life is always new, not past outdated.

Romans 8:17 and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ; if indeed we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified with him.

Rom.10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith says this, "Don't say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'{Deuteronomy 30:12} (that is, to bring Christ down); 10:7 or, 'Who will descend into the abyss?'{Deuteronomy 30:13} (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead.)" 10:8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart;"{Deuteronomy 30:14} that is, the word of faith, which we preach:

1 John 5:20 We know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

God has created all things new in heaven, and will on earth through Christ Jesus life, did you note that it is Christ Jesus life that is new? Fresh, incorruptible, without death and sin? It is the precious life of Christ that God loves, so precious are his attributes they are as refined jewels and gold upon God's altar, nothing Christ touches will not become perfect for his Father YHWH, and new!

Ezekiel 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.

Mark 2:22 No one puts new wine into old wineskins, or else the new wine will burst the skins, and the wine pours out, and the skins will be destroyed; but they put new wine into fresh wineskins."

John 13:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, just like I have loved you; that you also love one another.

2 Corinthians 3:6 who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Colossians 3:10 and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator.

Revelation 21:5 He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." He said, "Write, for these words of God are faithful and true."

If we are in our fleshly mind, that is, our old mind created in sin, all things are old, growing old, wasting away so excitement must be found in something new to spice up things, but those thoughts don't exist in Christ, he is our treasures in heaven, all of them as the our king, our life, there is no depth to his wisdom and understanding, nothing lacks, or is old in Christ. He is not a bunch of empty words repeated like a parrot for the flesh, so one can hear something seven times to make its stick. No! One word of Christ is life, it changes the world, he is the word, not speaking words, but is the word as his very life, part and partial, every living fiber of him, when he speaks he speak life into existence, do you really understand that?

John 5:21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom he desires.

John 5:26 For as the Father has life in himself, even so he gave to the Son also to have life in himself.

John 6:63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

Many spice up the bible with yeast thinking its not enough to eat tasteless unleavened bread from above they lust for so they dine from below; above does not excite the flesh, but kills it, the fleshly person search the scriptures for something new and exciting going from one thing to the next missing the gift of Christ life. Quickly they lose interest, moving on to the next newest news cycle, feeling rejected and deprive if something new is not poping up all the time. How does one find a pearl so rare, so beautiful, of such great value, and forget it for the next new thing?

John 5:39 "You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and these are they which testify about me. 5:40 Yet you will not come to me, that you may have life.

Romans 11:33 Oh the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past tracing out!

Ephesians 3:18 may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth.

Is it not the cherishing of the gift the pearl of great value that makes it precious and new?

Psalms 5:7 But as for me, in the abundance of your loving kindness I will come into your house. I will bow toward your holy temple in reverence of you.

Psalms 36:8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the abundance of your house. You will make them drink of the river of your pleasures.

Why would any of us think we deserve more than the life of Christ revealed to us from God by Holy Spirit, more than those generations of God's people who Christ life was hid from for thousands of years? What has an increase of knowledge produced in Christian's? You see, here is the point Paul was making, the mind digest the thoughts, it than affect the body, all the body, so where does the members of Christ go for truth, and the knowledge of God?

Psalms 37:16 Better is a little that the righteous has, than the abundance of many wicked.

Romans 5:17 For if by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one; so much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ.

What knowledge does Christ digest for us? What qualities is Christ producing in his members, how can we know if we are running here and there never waiting in Christ for the proper feeding? How can we know when we allow our fleshly mind to insist on telling Christ our head what it should be doing and looking at? Everything God seals up for a reason, have you figured out why yet? He seal them in Christ life, which means no human, under any thought of their own will or mind is going to reveal them until its God's time. It does not matter how special we feel, or what good work or strong emotions we might wish or have to unlocks some mystery of God, God has given all knowledge and wisdom to his Son. He is our treasure in heaven, he is our Solomon, our teacher, our head, our proper channel.

Daniel 12:9 He said, Go your way, Daniel; for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end.

Revelation 5:2 I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, "Who is worthy to open the book, and to break its seals?"

John 6:27 Don't work for the food which perishes, but for the food which remains to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has sealed him."

Because one reads a bible from a fleshly mind or from our desires does not means Christ digest it for us. Tagging a name to it does not make it revealed in Christ. Because our flesh cannot contain some information does not mean it is from the body of Christ because we state we are anointed! We must treasure Christ more than ourselves, our wishes, our will, our thoughts, we must hate this life to find the other. We must love Christ life in us, more than this life, or we will feed ourselves yeast in the name of Christ. The Spirit of God reveals the Spirit not the flesh, what are the fruit of the Spirit, what are the fruits of the flesh? Can a corrupt tree produce good fruit?

Revelation 5:4 And I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open the book, or to look in it.

Luke 14:26 "If anyone comes to me, and doesn't hate his own father, mother, wife, children, brothers, and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he can't be my disciple.

Romans 7:15 For I don't know what I am doing. For I don't practice what I desire to do; but what I hate, that I do.

Matthew 5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you.

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.
