2 Peter 1:21 For no prophecy ever came by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke, being moved by the Holy Spirit.

Here, if we are honest, that is, walking in the truth, which means being in Christ, the truth, we are faced with some hard questions? Is the prophecy we see and read so much about in today's world from God, from his “will”? In other words, to be under the will of our body is a good thing so that we don't do foolish things.

2 Peter 1:20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of private interpretation.

But according to God he states his prophecies are under his will and not the will of man. So what of all the prophecies on the internet are they from God's will? How about all the prophecy about the end of our world since Christ came to earth, were they of God's will, and not man's?

Isaiah 8:10 Take counsel together, and it will be brought to nothing; speak the word, and it will not stand: for God is with us."

Isaiah 28:13 Therefore the word of Yahweh will be to them precept on precept, precept on precept; line on line, line on line; here a little, there a little; that they may go, fall backward, be broken, be snared, and be taken.

Isaiah 40:8 The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God stands forever."

None have came true, they have all failed since the apostles died, since the restraint of Holy Spirit was taken away the apostle Paul spoke of, and Christ prophecy of the weeds, and yeast taking over God's kingdom on earth.

Isaiah 41:28 When I look, there is no man; even among them there is no counselor who, when I ask of them, can answer a word.
This is the real problem most Christian's no matter how strong they feel about a prophecy they are teaching do not want to say it is directly from God's will that brought it forth, which means, it can't fail. No! They hedge their bets strongly arguing pointing to events taking place in the world, and the scriptures they have adapted to fit into their prophecy, but not so bold in stating God himself bore them along by his will against their own will making them write his words down.

Isaiah 55:11 so shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing I sent it to do.

Revelation 22:18 I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, if anyone adds to them, may God add to him the plagues which are written in this book. 22:19 If anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, may God take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.

No, the power of the Holy Spirit is not considered usually, it about the will power of the person in research, its about a point being proven, its about human will, mixed into the written word of God trying to unravel some intellectual mathematical biblical equation for the rest of mankind. Then it is promoted as the “truth”, and if we do not listen to it, and obey it, we are slandering God's prophet, and we cannot be saved at the end of this world. Conveniently, the maker of the prophecy gives themselves wiggle room by not stating they were bored along by God's will and not their own just in case, because we all know what that means they would be a false prophet, and that would be forever, not just a simple oops!

1 John 4:1 Beloved, don't believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Where is the will of God today? This is not a trick question for anyone reading their bibles. It is found in Christ Jesus, now get this the “head” of the congregation, the head is where the will of the body comes from. So is Christ speaking new prophecy as the mouth of his anointed body?

Heb.1:1 God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 1:2 has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds.

Well if the track record was studied since Christ was raised into heaven as God only spokes person for the rest of eternity, one would have to say no, because so far all the prophecy of men about the coming of Christ have failed. Has Christ lost any of his sheep, which is another prophecy he spoke on earth? No, its seem he has the power of eternal life for those believing in him, no tricks there, no hidden prophecy just plan truth something a person can take to banks of heaven without doubt.

John 10:10 The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. 11. I am the good shepherd.{Isaiah 40:11; Ezekiel 34:11-12,15,22} The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

John 10:28 I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.

You will be hated by all of the nations for my name's sake. 24:10 Then many will stumble, and will deliver up one another, and will hate one another. 24:11 Many false prophets will arise, and will lead many astray.
