Daily Bible Thought: 1Pet.1:4 Incorruptible unfading Inheritance

1Pet.1:4 to an incorruptible and undefiled inheritance that doesn't fade away, reserved in Heaven for you, 1:5 who by the power of God are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

What fades is our life, like a flower, once bloomed it starts growing old finally to die, but the fading process is painful in a world where the beauty of flesh is worshiped. The world has devised many schemes to slow the fading process down in growing old, multi-billion dollars industies have been built off vanity where some spend every waking minute of their day peering into a mirror trying to capture their once youthful look.

James 1:11 For the sun arises with the scorching wind, and withers the grass, and the flower in it falls, and the beauty of its appearance perishes. So also will the rich man fade away in his pursuits.

Ecclesiastes 1:14 I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and behold, all is vanity and a chasing after wind.

Yes, we are all forced into reality kicking and screaming this life is exactly as God stated it is corruptible, not incorruptible. Sadly, love, work, friendship, and most everything on earth is tied to ones vanity of sight. YHWH said to Isaiah who himself found that he was corruptible, unclean without God's power touching his lips with a hot coal from God's throne. That all flesh is but green grass, when the breathe of YHWH blows upon flesh it withers and fade away, that is, all of our loving kindness towards each other as human, no matter how great someone is, it just vanishes into thin air, having no power over the living, as the fantacy world of entertain dreams and scheme in its make believe world of eternal youthfulness captured on the screen.

Isa.6:3 One called to another, and said, "Holy, holy, holy, is Yahweh of Armies! The whole earth is full of his glory!" 6:4 The foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke. 6:5 Then I said, "Woe is me! For I am undone, because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for my eyes have seen the King, Yahweh of Armies!" 6:6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar.
6:7 He touched my mouth with it, and said, "Behold, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away, and your sin forgiven."

Isa. 40:5 The glory of Yahweh shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of Yahweh has spoken it." 40:6 The voice of one saying, "Cry!" One said, "What shall I cry?" "All flesh is like grass, and all its glory is like the flower of the field. 40:7 The grass withers, the flower fades, because Yahweh's breath blows on it. Surely the people are like grass. 40:8 The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God stands forever."

Incorruptibility of God does not fade, it does change with fads, sight, or political correctness, we change constantly with the latest fad thinking our time tables is God's. Here Peter speaks to truth that as we suffer long in the flesh surrounded by corruption of a dying flower once beautiful glorious and strong we may think God's love towards us is growing old as well. Sadly, we are what we feel in this very weak vessel changing like shadows under a tree.

James 1:9 But let the brother in humble circumstances glory in his high position; 1:10 and the rich, in that he is made humble, because like the flower in the grass, he will pass away.
1:11 For the sun arises with the scorching wind, and withers the grass, and the flower in it falls, and the beauty of its appearance perishes. So also will the rich man fade away in his pursuits. 1:12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love him. 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God," for God can't be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one. 1:14 But each one is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed. 1:15 Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death. 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers. 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

We grow old fading away, but God never grows old or fades, he is the same today as a billion years ago. Those growing weary in the flesh, God's power does not change towards them he has not forgotten them in his love like the world that glorifies only in the beauty of the flesh, living in fear of old age, hiding it, looking around it, walking past it, mocking it, punishing it, even personalizing it as though a person has a choice in growing old.

Isa.40:28 Haven't you known? Haven't you heard? The everlasting God, Yahweh, The Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn't faint. He isn't weary. His understanding is unsearchable.
40:29 He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. 40:30 Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall; 40:31 But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.

God has guarded, protects our life, with his own unfading incorruptibility, our suffering in this flesh, the humiliation of this life for those that chose Christ over the glories of this world cannot come to disappointment for this life is but a flower of the field momentary and lite compared to glories to come in Christ Kingdom, for those loving the Lord more than this life, be of good courage!

Rom.8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 8:36 Even as it is written, "For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter."{Psalm 44:22} 8:37 No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
8:39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

2 Corinthians 4:16 Therefore we don't faint, but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day.
