MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > Eph.2:2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the children of disobedience;

Eph.2:2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the children of disobedience;

What is the course of this world Paul speaks to here? All creation follows a course, that is, a pattern repeating itself as a standard that one cannot deny. In other words, just as a species has a nature or course/pattern so does our world alienated from God.

Jeremiah 10:23 Yahweh, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man who walks to direct his steps.

1 Thessalonians 3:11 Now may our God and Father himself, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way to you;

Humans despise the idea that like animals they have patterns repeated individually and worldly; being deceived by their own intellect as superior giving them choice unlike the animals. However, on does not have to have much intellect to quickly see how in everything we do in human by nature is repeated and copied over and over again.

Psalms 50:10 For every animal of the forest is mine, and the livestock on a thousand hills.

Ecclesiastes 3:21 Who knows the spirit of man, whether it goes upward, and the spirit of the animal, whether it goes downward to the earth?"

Every institution from family to government, religion and business use the same pattern or they do not succeed. The world is a garment interwoven over and over again creating a system of things that must be followed, studied, and worked within to live on this earth.

Isaiah 64:6 For we have all become as one who is unclean, and all our righteousness is as a polluted garment: and we all fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.

Isaiah 51:6 Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look on the earth beneath; for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment; and those who dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be forever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.

The point of this conversation that pattern of this world is what God’s children have been set free from in the life of Christ Jesus, the DANGER for God’s children is when that natural pattern of the world, which it is created from and built upon is adapted to the body of Christ.

The wisdom of this world is foolishness to those raised in Christ. In other words, can a person live in a world without breathing the air of that keeps everyone alive in that world? No they cannot no matter how diverse that world is or how much one would like that world.

Matthew 13:33 He spoke another parable to them. "The Kingdom of Heaven is like yeast, which a woman took, and hid in three measures{literally, three sata. 3 sata is about 39 litres or a bit more than a bushel} of meal, until it was all leavened."

The wind is like a spirit that moves to and frow over the earth causing it to live and breathe, with it comes life that depends on the wind for food, working, business, worship and every facet of our lives, but can we live without the invisible power over us?

But Paul speaks of something greater than physical wind here, why? Because physical wind does not work in us, and/or the world, but the spirit if the prince of this world does work within all humans!

2 Corinthians 4:4 in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them.

That is the real contrast here for God’s children, this contrast is light compared to darkness, we have only two spirit to contend with not billions although the world has billions of people and there are billions of fallen spirit children our bibles call wicked spirit force in heavenly places.

1 John 4:13 By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.

1 John 4:1 Beloved, don't believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Yes, two, not many, but two, do you know why? At the start of God’s creation, that is, mankind there was choice they needed to make, between good and evil. Not many choices as some would have you believe but one simple choice to choose good all the time with God, and/or choose evil all the time without God! (God did not create man in his image to chose anything but life, evil would be out of God, so one simple choice and nothing in between.)

James.1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers.
1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

It was a simple choice life or death? Chose light or darkness, chose paradise or live in your own condition of your heart in death where weeds and thistles makes life a terrible trial.

Genesis 3:18 Thorns also and thistles will it bring forth to you; and you will eat the herb of the field.

Hebrews 6:8 but if it bears thorns and thistles, it is rejected and near being cursed, whose end is to be burned.

Be owned by God of light or be owned by darkness and the spirit of darkness found in all son’s of rebellion in heaven and upon earth. The context for the son’s of God is they have been born out of that world into life/light their life now gets its entire power and strength from another Spirit that they breathe as their very air, Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit in him, as their new Father instead the old Adam that is dead for the wages of sin.

Romans 14:8 For if we live, we live to the Lord. Or if we die, we die to the Lord. If therefore we live or die, we are the Lord's.

Although, that pattern might seem the same they are vastly different one is of death, the other is life, one is darkness and the other is light, a light not of their own making as the world has light in powerful men and woman with vast knowledge given them by the power of darkness, conversely the children of light can not operate in that death dealing pattern without killing the Christ in they their life.

1 Corinthians 12:8 For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;

2 Corinthians 4:6 seeing it is God who said, "Light will shine out of darkness,"{Genesis 1:3} who has shone in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 6:6 in pureness, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in sincere love,

2 Timothy 3:7 always learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

There is but a simple contrast light and darkness, but without the Spirit of Christ in us, we cannot define what is life and what is death; for the body of death is its own world, and death is where is works and plays thinking nothing of it.

1Cor.2:6 We speak wisdom, however, among those who are full grown; yet a wisdom not of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, who are coming to nothing.
2:7 But we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, the wisdom that has been hidden, which God foreordained before the worlds for our glory,
2:8 which none of the rulers of this world has known. For had they known it, they wouldn't have crucified the Lord of glory.

On the other hand, those in the flesh on earth with the life of Christ indwelling them have both life and death at work in them for a divine purpose, it is an epoch battle between good and evil they are the sheep lead to the slaughter for the rest of mankind. Being put to death by the darkness of this world, and brought to life daily by the life of Christ in them.

2 Corinthians 4:10 always carrying in the body the putting to death of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.

2 Corinthians 4:11 For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus may be revealed in our mortal flesh.

2 Corinthians 4:12 So then death works in us, but life in you.

That working they must understand it is not a whim or mistake, it is their divine truth and purpose on this earth that not one of this world knows or understand.

2 Timothy 1:9 who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before times eternal,
