1 John 4:8 He who doesn't love doesn't know God, for God is love.
Think about love, God is love, God frees us from our sins, not to force us to love, but rather, so we can love.
When we think our being freed from sin means saving this life than we obligated God to a force love. He must save us or someone we love or he is not a God of love!
This thinking is unlike faithful Job who didn’t know why he was being plagued. Jobs friends said he had sinned and God was punishing him for his sins.
Job could not free himself from his trials, but he loved God, in both good and evil, he knew what all of us should know God’s is love.
Job. 1:20 Then Job arose, and tore his robe, and shaved his head, and fell down on the ground, and worshiped.
1:21 He said, "Naked I came out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return there. Yahweh gave, and Yahweh has taken away. Blessed be the name of Yahweh."
1:22 In all this, Job did not sin, nor charge God with wrongdoing.
God does not work to prove his love to us, he is love, our being saved from sin is not by works, but grace/unmerited kindness/undeserved kindness, or its not God’s love!
