Daily Bible Thought > 2Cor.13-15 OUT OF OUR MINDS!

Out of Our Minds!

13For if we have lost our minds, it is for God; if we are of sound mind, it is for you. 14For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died; 15and He died for all, so that those who live would no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose on their behalf. 2Cor5:13-15

In the present of God, that is, in the present of God’s prophets there is a time of judgment. For a prophet to be out of his mind, creates a judgment for those watching and listening to that prophet.

Ezekiel 2:5 They, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house), yet shall know that there has been a prophet among them.

One cannot judge God’s prophet for he is not in that moment human, he is a property, a vessel of God being filled by God’s Spirit or the spirit of flesh, or even wicked spirit to test who is of God and who is not.

Ezekiel 14:10 They shall bear their iniquity: the iniquity of the prophet shall be even as the iniquity of him who seeks [to him];

If one looks to a man as a god, or a mediator to God by his fleshly appearance they will judge incorrectly and be stumbled. In that stumbling there will be a refinement for the person making the judgment from their own fleshly mind.

Ezekiel 14:7 For everyone of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who sojourn in Israel, who separates himself from me, and takes his idols into his heart, and puts the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and comes to the prophet to inquire for himself of me; I Yahweh will answer him by myself:

Human’s will not accept the truth of the Spirit without a testing of the flesh, they will not see, or can they see without the Spirit of God, the person spirit must be separated from God’s Holy Spirit. Nor can one know God the Spirit unless the flesh is destroy as if by fire of testing.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Luke 3:16 John answered them all, "I indeed baptize you with water, but he comes who is mightier than I, the latchet of whose sandals I am not worthy to loosen. He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and fire.

The process is God’s divine work to bring all evil to an end that Satan the Devil introduce into the human race.

This is the context of the apostle Paul writing above. Paul is speaking to a work not known in this world, a strange work to our flesh minded nature and to this world. (Flesh is the world when spoken of in our bibles.)

1 Corinthians 14:21 In the law it is written, "By men of strange languages and by the lips of strangers I will speak to this people. Not even thus will they hear me, says the Lord."{Isaiah 28:11-12}

Nor could they hear God for he is Spirit and they are fleshly, God is light while they exist in darkness of their flesh all though they were God’s people they were a religion removing them from God into a fleshly works of law religion

1 Peter 4:12 Beloved, don't be astonished at the fiery trial which has come upon you, to test you, as though a strange thing happened to you.

Peter speak hear as does Paul God’s children were not in a religion they were now in Spirit and truth which is the living temple of God Christ Jesus.

Reading spiritual words in our bibles does not do the work of the Spirit in Jesus Christ our High Priest whom we confess. It is the working of the Spirit which is a fire a refinement to our spirit which is controlled and polluted by our flesh.

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The Spirit does not consort with flesh it kills the flesh that is why the flesh can never be clean when compared to the Spirit, it is the Spirit that destroy all uncleaness from God’s living Temple Jesus Christ, not works with the unending unclean flesh that must die!

The working of the Spirit is not of this world so it can’t be done by any religion, any man, or any woman it can only be done by God in Jesus Christ as undeserved kindness.

1 John 3:1 Behold, how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn't know us, because it didn't know him.

1 John 3:13 Don't be surprised, my brothers, if the world hates you.

The Spirit is a discipline to the flesh because it destroy the flesh, it destroy it by fire which destroy false Christian’s (Weeds) and saves real Christian’s created by God’s Spirit as his children (Wheat).

The surprised the bewilderment is to those Christian’s that cannot explain to the other meaning the world their testing which seem foolish to the world because flesh can only see and help other human not of God.

Romans 6:4 We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.

God has created first fruits a pattern that will go into all creation to release it from the bondage of sin. That pattern started with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The working of the pattern began with the resurrection of Jesus Christ by being put to death in his flesh and made alive in the Spirit.

Hebrews 8:5 who serve a copy and shadow of the heavenly things, even as Moses was warned by God when he was about to make the tabernacle, for he said, "See, you shall make everything according to the pattern that was shown to you on the mountain."{Exodus 25:40}

The pattern then started by the outpouring of God’s Spirit upon his children who are a new creation, create not by human’s, nor by the lineage of their parents, but by God’s lineage through Jesus Christ in Spirit and truth. In other words, they were created only by Spirit nothing human touch or contact.

James 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, "Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born of water and spirit, he can't enter into the Kingdom of God!

John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

John.1:12 But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name:
1:13 who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

This new creation found in the flesh on earth has a work of the Spirit that puts to death our spirits of flesh coming into the mortified body of God’s children dividing it from our sinful nature, that been past on too us by Adam, dividing it from God’s Spirit by fire translating the experience of complete captivity in spirit mind of Christ giving us God’s mind which perfects our soundness of mind which Paul was speaking about above, and in that mind he could as he did speak the pure language of truth to the body of Christ.

In other words, the purpose of a test, a stumbling it to bring all thoughts from this world into captive of Christ mind, which Christ mind is God’s mind for the releasing for creation from captivity to sin of Adam.

Out of that mind would be testing for the new creation which would require the test by fire to bring it back into the Spirit mind of Christ Jesus.

This is not mans work which mean it can’t be seen or known by the flesh, it not found in any religion or church its only found in the Temple of the living God which the news creation was born into by Holy Spirit that being Jesus Christ.

Romans 7:13 Did then that which is good become death to me? May it never be! But sin, that it might be shown to be sin, by working death to me through that which is good; that through the commandment sin might become exceeding sinful.

Ephesians 1:19 and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might

In the book of Roman’s you once again find Paul speaking of this process as sheep being lead to the slaughter and Christ resurrecting them back into life, which is in the Spirit that always means Christ our life, and/or the eternal life that give us life upon are receiving the adoption by Holy Spirit.

Rom.8:34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
8:36 Even as it is written, "For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter."{Psalm 44:22}
8:37 No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
8:39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Stumbling and being made to look foolish by worldly standards is the lot of those being humiliate for Christ still on earth in their mortified flesh. They are rejected by this world as scum, stricken with sin, hated by God and made to look unsuccessful. Subsequently, that humiliation draws the hate and contempt out of flesh people including God’s own children when they are walking by the flesh.

2Cor.1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort;
1:4 who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
1:5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound to us, even so our comfort also abounds through Christ.
1:6 But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation. If we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer.

2Cor.1:9 Yes, we ourselves have had the sentence of death within ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead,
1:10 who delivered us out of so great a death, and does deliver; on whom we have set our hope that he will also still deliver us;

Thus, starts the perfect judgment up them. To judge Holy things of God require God to clear his name. No matter the motive the sincerity make no difference corruption cannot judge incorruptible without its own judgment coming upon it head.

Matt.7:1 "Don't judge, so that you won't be judged.
7:2 For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you.
7:3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye?
7:4 Or how will you tell your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye;' and behold, the beam is in your own eye?

This refinement by fire produces good and bad vessels some for an honorable purpose in God’s house and others for dishonor and destruction but always by their own heart and the fruit of what that heart has produced. All vessels are be shown unmerited kindness by God’s unspeakable mercy; this is the judging of all God’s children, such as the apostles Paul was a perfect example of.

Acts.9:1 But Saul, still breathing threats and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest,
9:2 and asked for letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.
9:3 As he traveled, it happened that he got close to Damascus, and suddenly a light from the sky shone around him.
9:4 He fell on the earth, and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?"
9:5 He said, "Who are you, Lord?" The Lord said, "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.{TR adds "It's hard for you to kick against the goads."}
9:6 But{TR omits "But" } rise up, and enter into the city, and you will be told what you must do."
9:7 The men who traveled with him stood speechless, hearing the sound, but seeing no one.
9:8 Saul arose from the ground, and when his eyes were opened, he saw no one. They led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
9:9 He was without sight for three days, and neither ate nor drank.
9:10 Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias. The Lord said to him in a vision, "Ananias!" He said, "Behold, it's me, Lord."
9:11 The Lord said to him, "Arise, and go to the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judah{or, Judas} for one named Saul, a man of Tarsus. For behold, he is praying,
9:12 and in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias coming in, and laying his hands on him, that he might receive his sight."
9:13 But Ananias answered, "Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he did to your saints at Jerusalem.
9:14 Here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on your name."
9:15 But the Lord said to him, "Go your way, for he is my chosen vessel to bear my name before the nations and kings, and the children of Israel.
9:16 For I will show him how many things he must suffer for my name's sake."
9:17 Ananias departed, and entered into the house. Laying his hands on him, he said, "Brother Saul, the Lord, who appeared to you on the road by which you came, has sent me, that you may receive your sight, and be filled with the Holy Spirit."

But let us remember it not about who we are it about what God is, and what he choose too uses as his vessel this is why Paul made it clear he could not judge himself righteously, nor could those who judged Paul by human wisdom it would only bring about the perfect justice of God upon all of them.

John 5:30 I can of myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous; because I don't seek my own will, but the will of my Father who sent me.

John 7:24 Don't judge according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment."

John 7:51 "Does our law judge a man, unless it first hears from him personally and knows what he does?"

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

As the very Son of God Jesus Christ appeared to some to be out of his mind proved only to test an entire nations heart. Judging what is declared righteous by God cannot go away or be covered over by darkness of worldly judgments and wisdom it must have its day in court where God’s name is cleared ending in the destruction of sometimes complete nations that trampled upon what is Holy.
