MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > 1Pet.4:18 Justice Eludes Us?

Justice seems to elude us in a corrupt world, but remember this?

1 Peter 4:18 "If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will happen to the ungodly and the sinner?"{Proverbs 11:31}

Although, at times its seem impossible there is an important reason:

2 Peter 2:7 and delivered righteous Lot, who was very distressed by the lustful life of the wicked

2 Peter 2:8 (for that righteous man dwelling among them, was tormented in his righteous soul from day to day with seeing and hearing lawless deeds):

God never forgets, he doesn’t close his eyes, nor will he forget about those loving Him. God does not condone evil he guarantee's us he will render justice swiftly in his time wiping heavens and earth clean of corruption for the eternal rejoicing of his children.

Heb.12:1 Therefore let us also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
12:2 looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
12:3 For consider him who has endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, that you don't grow weary, fainting in your souls.
12:4 You have not yet resisted to blood, striving against sin;
12:5 and you have forgotten the exhortation which reasons with you as with children, "My son, don't take lightly the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are reproved by him;
12:6 For whom the Lord loves, he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives."{Proverbs 3:11-12}
