MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

No Sign-in/All Your Information Anonymous > The Stop Sign

What if you ran a stop sign, killing another family, you found out your very best judgments, and intention failed you, whereby the court of the State convicted you of unintentional homicide?

But while you where in prison the State changed the law, that is, they removed the Stop sign where no one running the intersection could ever be convicted again of a crime.

You knew that you had not seen the other car, your actions were not deliberate, your best judgment failed you costing the lives of others. In fact, you wished it had been you that lost your life letting your victims live. Still you could not change the facts that you had failed to stop, saving lives.

Here you will have to ask, did your self-will, or good intention save the lives in the car you hit, no! Does your repentance save the lives of the person you kill, or even your prison sentence, again no!

Now your faced with another circumstance, which is, if the same accident had occur just a few years later the law would not have convicted you of a crime, yes, the State had removed the Stop sign. Had your goodness, or self-will caused the State to remove the Stop sign, well, no!

Here stands the greatest misconception among those claiming to be a Christian in today's world. Christian's have no power within themselves to stop sinning, they did nothing within their own will stop sinning, nor in their goodness. Yet, most of them believe by the power of knowledge of God written word they can stop at the Stop sign of death by sin, and not be convicted by their own good actions or teachings.

Rom.8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.{NU omits "who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"}

No Stopping by Self-Goodness

The Stop sign was removed by God/YHWH goodness not by human goodness, nothing within a human being removed the Stop sign of sin for humans.

God through his grand kindness provided a legal justification for our sin in sending His only begotten Son Christ Jesus to earth too die for us. Jesus in his faithfulness to his heavenly Father died for us, removing our judgment of death through sin. When we accept Jesus Christ we are putting faith in God's provision of life, not sin, and death, we have the life of Christ Jesus, thus, we have faith.

John 11:25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies.

Earning Life by Human Goodness

We cannot have life with sin, thus, we are dependent upon Christ Jesus righteousness, and not our own for life. In other words, we have nothing within ourselves to remove sin, thus, we cannot earn life, we must accept the life of Christ Jesus merit to have life, and not our own merit.

Most Christian's will find these words offensive, while earning merit by their good Christian's works to prove they have accepted the life of Christ Jesus. However, they are badly mistaken, or mislead by good motive.

Human good motivate did not remove sin in the first place, it was God's own good motivate in providing His Son Christ Jesus for us. The next step is just as important for a Christian to understand, which is, we are under unmerited kindness of God. Although we accept Jesus Christ merited, that is, his righteousness substituted for our own unrighteousness, we cannot build again upon our self-goodness.

There is only one foundation of God's goodness towards mankind, that is His Son Christ Jesus. In other words, no other legal justification for righteousness exist in the visible or invisible universe for salvation, but the life of Christ Jesus.

The foundation of salvation is Christ Jesus and his life, declared righteous by God's own standard of goodness, not ours. We must build on this foundation not returning again to our good works for salvation.

Legally Justified

We are legally justified, not “good motive” justified, or “good work” justified. In others, the law of God was satisfied in Jesus Christ life upon earth. Jesus righteous blood satisfied the legal requirement of God laws.

We are only legally justified if we are “in Christ Jesus”, that is the only sacred ground God's rest His judgment in for Christian's. There is no other productive ground outside of the garden of truth, and love, Jesus Christ.

When we as a Christian's start working in our own goodness to earn respect, or love from God we will be cursed in our own bitter ground of sin and death outside of the one legal justified place of pure worship Jesus Christ.

We can provide nothing in, and of ourselves, to create a justification for ourselves to stand sinless before God, so we can associate with His Holy Spirit in His Son Christ Jesus. God only has one legal justifiable place of worship, Jesus Christ, as the great spiritual temple of God.

Working What Is Good

We as Christian's do good works when we are doing the will of God in Christ Jesus; our good works are gifts of God's own goodness to help others come to know the truth of His Son Christ Jesus. In other words, showing appreciation for gifts of God given us by His own goodness expressed too us in unmerited kindness.

Unmerited kindness can never be earned, why? Because we cannot remove the Stop sign, nor can we provide the means in removing the Stop sign, or have we by knowledge or good works of our own provided the gifts of the Holy Spirit to stay within Christ Jesus.

When God's children read the word of God from this unmerited foundation they will comprehend with all the saints the fullness of Christ Jesus they have received and teach the word of God correctly.
