Satan makes the argument comparing his system of things against YHWH right to rule, that is, how mankind has improved in some areas of human existence, as proof that good and evil has been a success.

However, God's standards of righteousness are much higher than seeming scientific/governmental/religious success in human condition for 70 or 80 years on this earth. God standards of righteousness is that no human being suffer or dies!

YHWH standard of truth is life; does truth produce eternal life in a person? Christ Jesus is life, and those in Christ Jesus have life eternal. God works from life forward, whereas mankind works from death to death. In other words, the foundation of life to come in a new heavens, and earth, is based upon the rock, immortal imperishable, incorruptible, life of Christ Jesus, subsequently, where death does not exist nor can death corrupt mankind's judgment about truth.

God's standard of truth is based upon His own righteousness, which is entrusted to Son Christ Jesus as the “Truth”. Those not comparing themselves against this truth cannot have the Truth, Christ Jesus, they are comparing themselves against death and unrighteousness of corruptible mankind. This is why no human efforts by so called truth of mankind intellect will save them or anyone else.

No temporary improvement from death is good enough for God's standard of righteousness, because it all ends in the same place death. As long as death exist in God creation of mankind and/or spirit being perfection has not been meant. This is why a good tree produces only good fruits of life. Whereas mankind's trees all of them produce evil, although they brag of some temporary good they have accomplished through human intellect it still a bad tree producing the fruits of death.

No sin has been removed from the human race by any of mankind's efforts, nor will sin be removed from the human race by science/law or religions. God is the only one that can removed sin and death from mankind every other attempt is a lie and false hope that mankind can prevail by their own knowledge of good and evil.

However, if if they could succeed in living longer none of mankind would have enough love for righteousness to resurrect the billions upon billions of dead love ones restoring them to perfect life without death. These are the standards mankind has to meet to be gods.
