Obedience To Righteousness

We as Christian's must be obedient to Righteousness, being a Christian's is not an excuse for loose conduct or sinning with the idea that God is a whoosh because He is love, no!

But when we talk about being obedient to righteousness we must ask who's righteousness? Our righteousness, by good works, done in the name of Christ Jesus, or an organized religion, obedience to the God's righteous law, given through Moses, or Christ righteousness, or perhaps, just too be safe, all of the above?

Why is this important in the first place isn't one righteousness the same as another righteousness, no! It is not.

Matthew 5:20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, there is no way you will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

What Is Self-righteousness?

Many think as Christian's that self-righteousness menas people like the scribes, and Pharisee's because Christ said some of them were, but most don't really understand what the meaning of self-righteousness according to God's word the bible, so let use a very simple example.

Let say you were an Israelite before Christ time, and you wanted to stand right before God, how would you do that, and more importantly, what did it mean to stand right before God?

You might think by obeying the law; “ that is how I would stand right before God”, but truthfully, no one with sin from Adam could stand right before God, without God's help. So what does this mean? God step in too help man stand right before Him, by giving them the innocent life of a victim, an animal, to be kill, covering their sins, what does this mean?

Animals do not sin against God, why? Because they were not created to keep His righteous Law, humans were though. So to be right before God, you must have blood of an innocent victim because one cannot stop sinning as a human by God's law. In fact, one could only be condemned by the law, no one was declared righteous by God's law - from Adam.

So if you thought you could stand righteous before God by obeying the law, you were a liar and “self-right” not God right, but instead you had made yourself right by your own judgments outside of God's righteous law, which provided away for you in standing right before Him.

Romans 3:20 Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin.

In other words, it was God who determined what was righteous and unrighteous, hence, what you needed to do too be right with God, not the other way around, saying; “I love your law, so I am righteous!” No, that would not work, the issue facing you was believing in God's judgment of you, and God's salvation for your soul by His means of salvation, through innocent blood, so you could have peace with God.

Levitius 3:1 "'If his offering is a sacrifice of peace offerings; if he offers it from the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before Yahweh.

Not your standards of peace based upon your own self-right way, but God's legal means of salvation for you, so you could have peace with Him.

Matthew 21:32 For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you didn't believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. When you saw it, you didn't even repent afterward, that you might believe him.

No Innocent Blood - No Peace.

A person could not have peace with God unless, God provided a way of peace in innocent blood, without the blood one stood condemned and judged too death by God's righteous law, which standards were so high that no human from Adam could meet it without sinning.

So you could love the righteous law of God with all your strength, heart, and mind, but you could not make peace with God by your desires or your personal efforts, accept to accept the gift of innocent life of a victim given too you from its creator to stand right before God justifying your sins.

So the scribes and Pharisee's; many of them felt better than the blood of innocent victim, they were self-right in keeping the law, they believed their personal efforts and zeal fro the law made they right before God, they judged for themselves right and wrong, just like the Father of the lie Satan.

Rom.7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good. 7:19 For the good which I desire, I don't do; but the evil which I don't desire, that I practice. 7:20 But if what I don't desire, that I do, it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwells in me. 7:21 I find then the law, that, to me, while I desire to do good, evil is present.

Luke 18:9 He spoke also this parable to certain people who were convinced of their own righteousness, and who despised all others.

Self-Righteousness Condemned by God

So without a lot of thought we should be able to judge correctly that self-righteousness is condemned by God, why? Simply put, without the blood, no one can stand before God, so the law of God condemns us a sinners without the blood. But we go further here back to the self-righteous Pharisees' and scribes, they went further than the blood into judging people as unworthy of the gift of life by the blood of animals into rules and laws.

They preached righteousness by obeying their many rules added to God's righteous law, which was a lie against God's provision of life in the blood. The Pharisee's held power over the people, demanding harsh judgments that went beyond God's law into a self-right ways of serving God by good works done under their definition of the law.

They had come to believe they were more righteous by self in obeying a rule than in needing the blood for their own sins. In fact, it fueled their hatred for their fellowman/brothers to where they finally ended up killing all of God's prophets including God own Son Christ Jesus. Now just imagine they actually believed they were doing good for YHWH their God. They simply could not imagine they were doing evil in applying God's righteous laws!

No Mercy In The Blood?

They had come to believe there was no mercy in the blood, by compounding laws into codified doctrines of faith, the more they measured others by their rules the more they found mankind wanting, not deserving of mercy by God innocent gift of blood.
Yes, they had created measuring line upon measuring line for themselves and the whole nation, only to condemn everyone under their unrighteous power.
Isaiah 28:17 I will make justice the measuring line, and righteousness the plumb line. The hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters will overflow the hiding place.

In fact, in real terms they seat themselves in the very temple of God as god's, judging beyond God's own mercy. They elevated themselves into self-right god's judging God himself as not righteousness enough to uphold His own laws without their judgments, Yes! They went beyond the law, and God's provision of mercy in the innocent blood for forgiveness of their own sins.

How blinded is that? Well, it is so blinded in hate for others through judgment of self-rightness, they could not even see the Christ as coming from God, he was their enemy condemned by not keeping their rules of faith.

They seen Christ with evil, what evil, the law is for the evil and they tried to judge an innocent victim, sinless lamb of God with their self- right standards! Why? Because they seen all of mankind as wicked, and evil by their judgments, their hearts were full of this evil which they were calling God's righteousness.

Matthew 9:4 Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, "Why do you think evil in your hearts?

Matthew 12:34 You offspring of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

Matthew 12:35 The good man out of his good treasure brings out good things, and the evil man out of his evil treasure{TR adds "of the heart"} brings out evil things.

So they killed God's own expression of righteousness with righteousness of self. Hence, our understanding of being obedient to righteousness is a very important question, many have gotten it wrong because we are reminded that Christ said; the field of God's planting, wheat Christian's, would be over grown with weed-Christian's when he came back at the end of our own world. So many are mislead into a false righteousness - being obedient to it, and missing God's righteousness at Christ coming.

The Ladder of Salvation?

The scribes and Pharisee's had went beyond the Law, into building a ladder of self-righteousness demanding others climb their rules ladder into salvation, they got it exactly wrong.

There was no salvation by rules, or the law, salvation rested in the blood of innocent victims, but God's mercy and salvation was not enough for these self-right teachers of law, they had to be more. So they built a ladder of codified rules into laws reaching clear up into heaven, where one would wear themselves out in meeting rules to obey the self-righteousness of the Pharisee's, but it was not God's ladder, it was the devils ladder of endless guilt of not being good enough by works of law.

Rom.10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith says this, "Don't say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'{Deuteronomy 30:12} (that is, to bring Christ down); 10:7 or, 'Who will descend into the abyss?'{Deuteronomy 30:13} (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead.)" 10:8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart;"{Deuteronomy 30:14} that is, the word of faith, which we preach: 10:9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Moreover, it empowered the scribes and Pharisee's with explaining righteousness of their laws - over the people. One needed older men to even understand the simplest teachings of the Pharisee's, this gave them much power over others. Salvation was stolen by the leaders fro the Israelites, locking up the Kingdom of God as to their judgments of life and death.

Luke 11:52 Woe to you lawyers! For you took away the key of knowledge. You didn't enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in, you hindered."

How high had they seated themselves by their ladder of salvation into the very seat of God, by man-made rules, killing anyone climbing their ladder, they were measuring out death, too death, not life in God's mercy of innocent blood, their righteousness was bloody rages of unclean woman under their law during mensuration, the blood was unclean and the people were unclean by their own standards of rightness before God.

They because worst off than the nations they hated, and called pangs, they had defiled themselves with the one thing they thought they were not, false righteous, they were blaspheming the very name of God in declaring themselves righteous by their rules.

Luke 11:47 Woe to you! For you build the tombs of the prophets, and your fathers killed them.

Yeast of Self-Rightness

Yeast is not God's righteousness, why? Because yeast is corruption of sins which permeates the whole law of God, without remission of sin, justification for our sins, by God's gift of innocent life, we have yeast of self-rightness not covered by blood, and what does this mean?

It means if you were an Israelite the only way to keep God's righteous law from become corrupted is through blood of innocent animals. In others words, a person could not stand aright before God, with out the remission of sin, by blood, when a person puts more emphasis on law and righteous through obeying the law, than on truth, which is forgiveness of our unrighteousness in violating the law, we permeated the law with sin.

The Pharisee's were corrupted by self-righteous yeast, appearing righteous outwardly but they were full of dead's men bones. In other words, graves were unclean under their law, so they would white washes them so they would not step on them becoming unclean.

Luke 11:44 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like hidden graves, and the men who walk over them don't know it."

Matthew 16:6 Jesus said to them, "Take heed and beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees."

Matthew 16:11 How is it that you don't perceive that I didn't speak to you concerning bread? But beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees."

So we have established that obedience to righteousness under the law, was not our righteousness in meeting law, because the law cursed us with unrighteousness. To be obedient to the righteousness of the law, one has to accept the gift of God mercy in the innocent blood of animals.

Although obeying God's law was important, one could never be declared righteous by their own efforts, the blood, shut ever person mouth as reminder of their unrighteous condition that required God's own righteousness to redeem us from death by the law.

Luke 11:38 When the Pharisee saw it, he marveled that he had not first washed himself before dinner.

Luke 18:9 He spoke also this parable to certain people who were convinced of their own righteousness, and who despised all others. Luke 18:10 "Two men went up into the temple to pray; one was a Pharisee, and the other was a tax collector. 18:11 The Pharisee stood and prayed to himself like this: 'God, I thank you, that I am not like the rest of men, extortioners, unrighteous, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. 18:12 I fast twice a week. I give tithes of all that I get.' 18:13 But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn't even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me, a sinner!' 18:14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted."

Seeking First the Kingdom and his Righteousness

Matthew 6:33 But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.

The fundamentally question each of us face is defining what is the righteousness of God's Kingdom, is it the Old Law, our self-rightness, or Christ Jesus righteousness? And how do we seek the Kingdom, and his righteousness?

First, and foremost, one must understand basic teachings of God's word, that is, Christ Jesus fulfilled God's righteous Law for us, he did so by his faith, love, and his own righteousness, what does this mean?

It means, simply, that Christ Jesus was the only person ever on earth to stand before God in his own righteousness, he was sinless, and become the victim of God, the lamb of God, which redeems us from sinning against God's righteous law.

Romans 3:26 to demonstrate his righteousness at this present time; that he might himself be just, and the justifier of him who has faith in Jesus.

In other words, the laws reward, is life, those that could live under it without sin would be rewarded with life, of course none could, but Christ Jesus. So it was in simple terms, Christ own righteousness the completed the law of God, he fulfilled its righteous requirements abolishing our own judgment by the law righteousness.

Just as an Israelite loved the law, but was condemned by it righteousness, so too a Christian's loves the law of Christ Jesus, but still stands condemned by it in self-rightness.

The Kingdom Righteousness?

What is the Kingdom of God's righteousness that we are to seek as Christian's, and not the physical Israel? It would be Christ Jesus righteousness, what does this mean? It means because Christ is the end of the law for Christian's, and it was his personal righteousness the brought us back from the curse of the law, that is, its judgment he is the righteousness of God's Kingdom.

Ephesians 2:15 having abolished in the flesh the hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace;

God rewarded his Son Christ Jesus with the Kingdom as King of His Kingdom, Christ removed our judgment by the law, and instituted a new law, or new covenant, being a greater Moses. In other words, Moses was God' mediator of the Law, Christ now become the mediator of a new law written into Christian's hearts, the law of love, why the law of love?

Heb.1:1 God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 1:2 has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds. 1:3 His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself made purification for our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 1:4 having become so much better than the angels, as he has inherited a more excellent name than they have. 1:5 For to which of the angels did he say at any time, "You are my Son. Today have I become your father?"{Psalm 2:7} and again, "I will be to him a Father, and he will be to me a Son?"{2 Samuel 7:14; 1 Chronicles 17:13} 1:6 Again, when he brings in the firstborn into the world he says, "Let all the angels of God worship him."

It is because Christ fulfilled the Old Law of Moses in his righteous love for his Father, Jehovah God.

1Cor.10:1 Now I would not have you ignorant, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
10:2 and were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
10:3 and all ate the same spiritual food; 10:4 and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of a spiritual rock that followed them, and the rock was Christ.

So Christ Jesus in his personal righteousness become a substitute father of us instead of Adam's own unrighteous passing death and sin on too us. Christ cannot pass death, and sin onto us, but why? Because he abolished death of the righteous laws judgment by his own righteousness; creating a new law of life, why life? Because Christ Jesus is life, and all those become a part of his body have the imperishable life of Christ Jesus “in them”.

Romans 5:17 For if by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one; so much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ.

Mankind could not become a part of God, because of Adam's sin, they were separated from God by self-rightness of Adam and Eves personal choice of choosing what is right and wrong for their life, hence, self-rightness.

1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.

1 Corinthians 15:45 So also it is written, "The first man, Adam, became a living soul."{Genesis 2:7} The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

Subsequently, the law of Christ Jesus is life, without condemnation of our sins, by God's own righteous law. Christ is Adam's substitute, restoring life too us by his own righteousness. Thus, Christ righteousness will remove our sins completely restoring God's own righteousness in all the universe in every living thing.

1Cor.15:26 The last enemy that will be abolished is death. 15:27 For, "He put all things in subjection under his feet."{Psalm 8:6} But when he says, "All things are put in subjection," it is evident that he is excepted who subjected all things to him. 15:28 When all things have been subjected to him, then the Son will also himself be subjected to him who subjected all things to him, that God may be all in all.

2 Timothy 1:10 but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who abolished death, and brought life and immortality to light through the Good News.

Seeking Christ Righteousness

Has Christ actually become our righteousness, well, many Christian's don't know, and many say the words, but they have no real meaning for them, so is Christ Jesus our righteousness?

1Cor.1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:

Romans 6:18 Being made free from sin, you became bondservants of righteousness.

Yes, Christ Jesus is our righteousness, and our Father YHWH is not ashamed to honor Christ Jesus faithfulness with incorruptible life, God has entrusted too his Son the lives of every human being on earth, he is our King, and our own righteousness, but how?

Simply put, Christ Jesus is the tree of life, by his own righteousness substituting as Adam the father of the human race, we must become a part of the tree of life and its righteousness to received the imperishable life of Christ Jesus in us.

John 15:5 I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

Romans 11:16 If the first fruit is holy, so is the lump. If the root is holy, so are the branches.

Romans 11:17 But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them, and became partaker with them of the root and of the richness of the olive tree;

Romans 11:18 don't boast over the branches. But if you boast, it is not you who support the root, but the root supports you.

Supporting the Righteousness of the New Covenant

Just as God's own righteous Law for us was support by the innocent blood of animals, so too the New Covenant/contract, law is supported by the precious blood of Christ Jesus. Christ Jesus does not support the Old Law, Christ abolished the laws judgment against us, by his righteousness.

Rom.7:1 Or don't you know, brothers{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."} (for I speak to men who know the law), that the law has dominion over a man for as long as he lives? 7:2 For the woman that has a husband is bound by law to the husband while he lives, but if the husband dies, she is discharged from the law of the husband. 7:3 So then if, while the husband lives, she is joined to another man, she would be called an adulteress. But if the husband dies, she is free from the law, so that she is no adulteress, though she is joined to another man. 7:4 Therefore, my brothers, you also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you would be joined to another, to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit to God. 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were through the law, worked in our members to bring forth fruit to death.

Subsequently, neither can our personal righteousness in obeying rules and laws support the law of freedom love, why? Well, it is very simple, the law of Love is a higher standard than the Law of Moses, why? Because it removes our sins from our hearts, yes!
Seeking Christ righteousness means we have to seeking the law of Christ Jesus, which is love that means in real terms this:

1Cor.13:1 If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don't have love, I have become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal.
13:2 If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don't have love, I am nothing. 13:3 If I dole out all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don't have love, it profits me nothing. 13:4 Love is patient and is kind; love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud, 13:5 doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; 13:6 doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 13:7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
13:8 Love never fails.

No human being on earth has been declared righteous by meeting the law of love, but Christ Jesus once again. We all fall far short of God's own glory expressed in perfect love listed above by the apostle Paul.

Hence, there is no room for self-rightness under the law of freedom, love, as there was no salvation under the Law of Moses without the blood.

Seeing the Speak In Our Brothers Eye

Most Christian's groups feel like the Pharisee's and scribe that they are authorized by God in uphold the laws of their organization by meeting rules of their group. But who righteousness are they seeking, and are they seeking first the Kingdom in doing so? Here is where the wheat from the weeds are separated.

Galatians 6:2 Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

If we seek the Kingdom, and his righteousness, than certainly we would be obedient to Christ Jesus righteousness, what are Christ standards of righteousness, are they higher than our judgments through our religions organization?

Ephesians 4:15 but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ.

Does your group have good and bad in it? Well, if you answer yes, than it is a self-right organization rather you understand Christ righteousness or not? You, see Christ righteousness has only good fruit on the tree of life, why? Because Christ judges us with the law of freedom, which is life, his life, do you understand that. Christ does not have wicked evil eye like the Pharisee's, and scribes that look at the evil in you by the righteousness of the law, no!

Matt.7:17 Even so, every good tree produces good fruit; but the corrupt tree produces evil fruit.

Christ eye is pure light, looking at us with the law of love, once again read the definition of love above in the apostle Paul's own words.

Ephesians 5:2 Walk in love, even as Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.

Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it.

1 John 3:11 For this is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another;

Christ judges us to life, in freedom of condemnation by sins law, which do not exist in Christ Jesus because they cannot, he is imperishable life with out yeast of self-rightness, by works of law.

1 Corinthians 5:6 Your boasting is not good. Don't you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?

1 Corinthians 5:7 Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.

1 Corinthians 5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old yeast, neither with the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Galatians 5:9 A little yeast grows through the whole lump.

Christ Jesus unlike us, does not mix two laws, one of flesh, and the other of the spirit, he is a virgin without unrighteousness, he is without spot or blemish of sin; can we stand before God, and make the same statement based on obeying the commandments, no! If you say yes, not only are you a liar, but a hypocrite; in not seeing yourselves in light of truth.

James3:10 Out of the same mouth comes forth blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. 3:11 Does a spring send out from the same opening fresh and bitter water? 3:12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water. 3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom. 3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth. 3:15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed. 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 3:18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

Are we Obedient to Righteousness?

Heb.7:25 Therefore he is also able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them. 7:26 For such a high priest was fitting for us: holy, guiltless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

Being obedient to Righteousness means not living a lie, but seeing ourselves in relationship to our King Christ Jesus, and obeying all that he did. But most Christian's chose to be dishonest while judging others harshly, like the Pharisee's in self-rightness, and what does this mean.

Matt.7:1 "Don't judge, so that you won't be judged. 7:2 For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you. 7:3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye? 7:4 Or how will you tell your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye;' and behold, the beam is in your own eye? 7:5 You hypocrite! First remove the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother's eye.

The sinful flesh loves judgment, it is it nature its way, that is, the natural man's way, but it is not of the Spirit of God. The flesh cannot know righteousness by any other way, but in judgment of others, why? Because judgment to the flesh, and its law, make it self-superior too others, not a slave too them, as Christ Jesus came too us in God's love.

1Cor. 2:14 Now the natural man doesn't receive the things of God's Spirit, for they are foolishness to him, and he can't know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 2:15 But he who is spiritual discerns all things, and he himself is judged by no one.

If we are obedient to Christ Jesus righteousness we must do all that he did, not just a little, the part of judging others by God's word the bible, shouldn't we also do this?

Matt. 5:38 "You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.'{Exodus 21:24; Leviticus 24:20; Deuteronomy 19:21} 5:39 But I tell you, don't resist him who is evil; but whoever strikes you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also. 5:40 If anyone sues you to take away your coat, let him have your cloak also. 5:41 Whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two.
5:42 Give to him who asks you, and don't turn away him who desires to borrow from you. 5:43 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor,{Leviticus 19:18} and hate your enemy.{not in the Bible, but see Qumran Manual of Discipline Ix, 21-26}' 5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, 5:45 that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust. 5:46 For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Don't even the tax collectors do the same? 5:47 If you only greet your friends, what more do you do than others? Don't even the tax collectors do the same? 5:48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

If you could do perfectly the things above, which, are the least things Christ Jesus did for us, your righteousness would still not be acceptable to God, for life, why? Because it is not about your personal righteousness, we have no righteousness without Christ righteousness imputed too you as gift of unmerited kindness, so we cannot stand right before Him without the gift of blood.

1John1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie, and don't tell the truth. 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Judgment That Confuses Righteousness

So many weed-Christian's love to judge others by their doctrine, claiming all others unrighteous and themselves righteous by such judgments, but none of them want to be judged by God's standard of righteousness, without Christ own love.

Most seek the Kingdom by self-rightness giving no consideration to the truth, which is Christ Jesus, not some doctrine taken out of context to the law of love. They see clearly, by evil eye, sin and faults of their brothers, and sisters in violation of their righteous judgment, but see not as God Himself see us, with good motive in the eyes of love, entrusted to His Son Christ Jesus.

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

Love alone, without fleshly judgments, is foolishness to them they cannot understand the force of righteousness entrusted too Christ Jesus in producing works of righteousness for His Fathers glory.

They are in real terms, the yeast that corrupts those representing Christ Kingdom on earth, yes, the whole mass has been corrupted by self-rightness instead the unleavened bread of Christ Jesus.

Luke 12:1 Meanwhile, when a multitude of many thousands had gathered together, so much so that they trampled on each other, he began to tell his disciples first of all, "Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

Luke 13:21 It is like yeast, which a woman took and hid in three measures{literally, three sata. 3 sata is about 39 litres or a bit more than a bushel} of flour, until it was all leavened."

Luke 13:22 He went on his way through cities and villages, teaching, and traveling on to Jerusalem. 13:23 One said to him, "Lord, are they few who are saved?" He said to them, 13:24 "Strive to enter in by the narrow door, for many, I tell you, will seek to enter in, and will not be able. 13:25 When once the master of the house has risen up, and has shut the door, and you begin to stand outside, and to knock at the door, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open to us!' then he will answer and tell you, 'I don't know you or where you come from.'
13:26 Then you will begin to say, 'We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.' 13:27 He will say, 'I tell you, I don't know where you come from. Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity.' 13:28 There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets, in the Kingdom of God, and yourselves being thrown outside.
13:29 They will come from the east, west, north, and south, and will sit down in the Kingdom of God.

Judgment by Sins Laws

The last point is sins laws, which many Christian's have no idea what they are, they are simply, laws that govern sinful humans being wicked. However, sins laws are not found in the body of Christ no more so than the righteousness of the Old Law of Moses is found in Christ Jesus.

The problem with judging with sins laws, we conveniently chose which of them is good for us and bad for us like Adam and Eve; it much like drinking a glass of water with some poison in it, rather we take a little drink or all if it, we are still poisoned.

This is the reasoning of self-righteousness of those obeying some of the commands of God, while forgetting about most of Christ words such as theses words:

Matt. 5:27 "You have heard that it was said, {TR adds "to the ancients,"} 'You shall not commit adultery;'{Exodus 20:14}
5:28 but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Most Christian's groups judge with zeal adultery, but chose not to judge their own heart in this matter, neither sins are condoned by Christ Jesus righteousness. The Pharisee's were just like that, commending themselves as God's righteousness to the nation of Israel, while sinning in their hearts.

Their hate for such unrighteous conduct as adultery was stoning to death the violator of God's law, but none of them plucked out an eye to stop their lustful heart from happily enjoying such sin in their hearts.

Christ judgment in this matter will be sever, and lasting, for all those justifying themselves as righteous for such sins. Such sins we all have should humble us in God's unmerited kindness, not elevating us into the seat of God, in His temple, in these last days as judging for God on earth.

Where is God's temple, the body of Christ Jesus, who has one law giver and judge, should we at least fear overstepping ourselves by judging matter outside or our person jurisdiction?

1Cor.3:1 Brothers, I couldn't speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly, as to babies in Christ. 3:2 I fed you with milk, not with meat; for you weren't yet ready. Indeed, not even now are you ready, 3:3 for you are still fleshly. For insofar as there is jealousy, strife, and factions among you, aren't you fleshly, and don't you walk in the ways of men? 3:4 For when one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," aren't you fleshly?

Rom.8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.{NU omits "who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"} 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

Wisdom from above should teaches us what law we can safely judge by to maintain Christ Jesus righteousness and be obedient too it?

1Cor.4:1 So let a man think of us as Christ's servants, and stewards of God's mysteries. 4:2 Here, moreover, it is required of stewards, that they be found faithful. 4:3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by man's judgment. Yes, I don't judge my own self. 4:4 For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord.
4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.

James 2:8 However, if you fulfill the royal law, according to the Scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself,"{Leviticus 19:18} you do well. 2:9 But if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors. 2:10 For whoever keeps the whole law, and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all. 2:11 For he who said, "Do not commit adultery,"{Exodus 20:14; Deuteronomy 5:18} also said, "Do not commit murder."{Exodus 10:13; Deuteronomy 5:17} Now if you do not commit adultery, but murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. 2:12 So speak, and so do, as men who are to be judged by a law of freedom.
